Aspen opened there eyes to find stan making pancakes "what time is it?" he asked "um its about 6am i know its really early but i wanted to talk to you" aspen knew that he had gone to work on the portal and wanted to not look suspicious if aspen woke up "about what?" stan shrugged "i dont know i just wanted to talk" aspen nodded and walked over "can i help?" he asked grabbing a pan "sure less work for me" stan said tossing over some pancake mix they made jokes and takes until 8 when the twins came down to see the two "heya crew" aspen said cheerfully mabel walked up next to them and stole a pancake "hey get back here" aspen said playfully chasing her before she shoved the pancake in her mouth "i wanna go on a adventure asp" dipper said aspen turned to mabel "sounds like fun mabs you up for it" mabel smiled "heck yeah i am" she started to run out "i didn't mean right now!" dipper yelled chasing her "see ya grunkle stan" aspen hugged him and ran off to chase the twins he saw them laughing and pooking each other "to the forest" he yelled running off as mabel and dipper followed in they spun around and threw sticks at each other they fallbed there arms around and screamed and laughed aspen and dipper talked about ghosts and other supernatural things that might be lurking in the woods "maybe will find big foot" aspen balanced on rocks as he spoke hoping from rock to rock like a game as dipper walked along the path next to him "or or moth man" dipper held up a picture from the journal "yeah or the jersey devil!!!" aspen jumped of the rocks and clapped his hands "lets hunt the jersey devil" he loved cryptids but he loved the jersey devil the best he grew up in new jersey and always wanted to find it but later found out it left new jersey years ago so ever since he made it his goal to see it "yes yes yes!!!" dipper said as my jumped up and down with glee they heard mabel holler "asp dip!!!" they rushed over to see a huge tree aspen smirked "bet ya five bucks i can climb it?" aspen put his hands on his hips with the bet living on the streets made him love quick money "your on that things huge!" mabel didnt believe aspen could climb it but he started grabbing and pulling himself up branch by branch he reached the top and found a good branch to plop down on he crossed his legs swinging them sassily smirking at the look on mabel's face he could feel his gender changing to female he waved then swiftly climbed down and jumped down from a branch landing right in front of mabel she held her hand out and mabel groaned before slapping 5 bucks in her hand then aspen grabbed mabel hand and ran of to go find dipper and the jersey devil the found dipper kn the attic on his laptop scanning the internet for any signs of the jersey devil aspen pulled ou her phone and searched as well nothing evetially she got fed up and said "lets just get out there and look the time its gonna take us to find any kind of clue we would have found it" she grabbed the twins arms and dragged them to the woods they searched for tracks or any kind of sign it existed aspen bagan collecting the leaves and sticks she found "think fast" she yelled throwing them at the twins they screamed and laughed aspen tackled them and all three just feel in a giggling pial on the ground but as they tried to get them selfs together there was a spine shivering growl shook the ground dipper turned first swiftly followed by his companions "the jersey devil" aspen mumbled in shock he knew that it was what he hoped even if all the three could see were two glowing eyes full and rage and greed "um we should run now" dipper said uncotionsly grabbing aspens hand "yup" aspen said squeezing it they bolted back to the shack and aspen was so esided that they had found it "omg omg omg we saw it we saw it its here in gravity falls!!!" saying it made her even more excited she spun arond in circles dipper saw jotting stuff down in his jurnal "we need to capture it" he aaid not even looking up from his note taking aspen nodded intensely as looked over to mabel "hey mabs?" she said the girl was on the ground panting "y-yeah?" she said breathless "maybe you shouldnt wear your sweater today its pretty hot and we will be running around a bunch" aspen tried to balance a pencil on her nose it was somehow working she'd need to look in to it more later "but how will i look adorable" aspen crossed her arms "you can look cute without a sweater" mabel shrugged "plus i dont have anything thats not a sweater" why mabe only packed sweaters on a summer vacation was a mystory but aspen had a plan like always "you could borrow some of my cloths we could give you a summer makeover!" mabel smiled wide "yes!!!!" she yelled grabbing aspen and her twins hands and racing up to the room and jumping up and down aspen could barley contan laughter as she grabbed her bag she had outgrown her old overalls and knewmabel would love them they were all fruit themed and would look great paired with a shirt of the fruits color the first one she pulled out was jean coored with strawberries all over it mabel squealed grabed it than ran in to the bathroom to put it on when she came back she was smiling ear to ear "hmmmmm it missing something" aspen said looking at the incomplete outfit "todally" mabel said looking down at it aspen walked over and put the shooting star symbol on the pocket "perfict" mabel squealed as dipper was happy to finally be able to get back to monster hunting "come on lets go" he said the trio ran down stairs and aspen colected suplise shoving them in her messenger bag as she ran out after the twins "one sec" she said catching up they began to retrance there steps "i hope we fine it imagin it us finding a real super natural monster we would make headlines?" dipper looked up musing aspen couldnt help but smile he was so sily sometimes "yeah i wonder if well get like a medal" aspen raped a arm around dipper in a side hug "i hope so" the boy was so happy and cheer full "plus everyone thinks its a myth so we would be the first ones ever to prove its real!!" aspen hopped up and down before grabbing on to a branch and pulling himself up to purch on the tree when dipper caught up he followed him not leaving the tree "you know asp when i first met you i thought you were just another people that would make fun of us just another person that didnt care for mysteries or the supernatural but now i see i was wrong your awesome ive never met anyone like you" aspen blushed a bit she wasnt used to people saying nice stuff about her "you know dip you never really gave me an answer about how your home life is" dipper looked down a bit they wornt really making eye contact but aspen could still see the sadness in his eyes "its not really fine mom and dad are geting a devorse and didnt want us in the house while they did all the stuff we dont have any friends and im just alone" aspen hopped down from the tree and walked next to dipper "well your here now right?'' mabel finally caught up with them before dipper could respond "hello" mabels smile was huge "heya marbles" mabel giggled "im so excited to find they monstery thing" aspen smiled and the three came across there old foot prints "theres the jersey devils foot prints!!" aspen quickly sped up to follow them pulling the twins along behind them they walked around the woods aspen started to play a game were she tried to hop in the foot prints "hup" she said jumping in to another mabel had started to play with her and they both jumped from print to print laughing as dipper started writing about the foot prints in the jurnal "wait until we tell gruckle stan" aspen said remembering how stan had tried to find the jersey devil as a short human "yeah he wont be able to deny magic anymore" dipper said with a determined look on his face "oo were here" mabel grabbed aspens arm who grabbed dippers arm then the three of them ran inside seeing the jersey devil was breathtaking aspen had always longed t find it now the best was right in front of her "umm what do we do now?" aspen tossed dipper her phone "take pictures and videos just in case we dont catch it" the beast was rufly 6 feet tall and dog like may not seem like a lot but aspens taller than most adults and she was 5,4 (well last she checked but that was like a month ago) dipper smiled and squealed with excitement and began taking pictures with aspens phone the noise from there chatter finally caught the attention of the criptyed which growled at them and began to snap at them aspen ran around trying to get it distracted from mabel and dipper when they wornt paying attention he telaported to get some rope then jumped over the beast after climbing up on a rock she tossed some to dipper and mabel how ran around to get it tied "ok on three jump down it finallize the net!" dipper said aspen and mabel nodded "one" aspen bagan the count "two" mabel was jumping up and down so excited the words sounded like a screams atenmt at being quiet "three" dipper yelled as the three jumped down catching the jersey devil "ok dipper just get your stuff in the journal and videos i want to let it go though" dipper roes a eyebrow at aspens comment "why?" aspen shrugged "its a innocent creatcher it doesnt deserve to be forced in to a cage for the rest of its life plus i want other kids to have the chance to go on a fun adventure" she smiled at the jersey devil dipper nodded and began writing stuff in his jurnal mabel and aspen ran around the cave jumping on rocks aspen climbed up veruse clifts then helped mabel up "this place it awesome" mabel looked around the cave wide eyed "i know right" aspen grabbed her chine shortly followed by mabel "you know what this place needs?" mabel asked and turned to aspen who smirked and pulled out her phone "music?" mabel did a dramatic bow "you've read my mind" aspen played some music but forgot some of the songs on her playlist were from 2024 but mabel and dipper didnt pay much attention to music so they didnt notice mabel and aspen just ran around and danced for hours and dipper took pictures and charted everything down about the jersey devil he filled at least three pages in the journal and 8 pages on google docs mabel was laying on the ground now they had left around two PM and it was almost nine now "hey dipper" she said dipper looked over and made a hmm? Noise "um can we go now its geting let and im sure you have enough information" aspen was throwing rocks and looked over "plus we know where it lives now so we can always come back" mabel nodded "and im sure the poor things tired of being in the net" dipper sighed and got his stuff together aspen lept down and started to unravel the net dipper mabel and them all bolted out of the cave only to relize it was really dark out like pitch black aspen grabed dipper and mabels hands and lead them out with their night vision making sure the twins couldnt see there eyes after they got back to the shack aspen made dinner for stan and the twins who turned on the TV "hmm whats duckdevtive" mabel asked as a advertisement sayed the show was coming out in a few days "i donno" aspen said shrugging as he read from his book "yall should get ready for bed" stan said aspen nodded and ran upstairs before looking back to see stan grabbing the lanturn she decided she would go down stairs that night and catch stan in the acted but until then he could hang with dipper and mabel "ok so lets see truth or dare?" mabel asked jumping on her bed "hmmmmmmmmm dare" mabel cackled msichuficly "ok lets see" she pulled a card from the card game she played called truth or dare "dance without music" aspen got up and started dancing as mabel laughed after he was done he jumped on to his bed "your turn dip-in-dots" mabel covered her mouth to try to stop laughing "dip-in-dots i have to use that" dipper rolled his eyes but still turned to face them "truth i guess?" he said aspen pulled a card from the truth pile "whats your biggest fantasy" dipper shrugged "i donno i wanna grow up and make a ghost hunting show" aspens eyes widened "i love ghost hunting" dipper lept in the air "omg me too whos your favret creator!!" asen looked up "i like callmekrisand salinaspookyboo" dipper looked at him weird "hmm odd i havnt heard of them youll have to show me" aspen nodded "youll love them" they both turned to mabel who said dare before they could even ask dipper pulled the card "put ice in your shirt" before the twins could say anything aspen bolted down stairs to get ice when he came back up mabel tackled him so they both got covered in the frigid solid water they were laughing so hard they didnt even notice dipper passed out on his bed aspen looked over after the laughter died down "i guess we have had a pretyy crazy day we sound probably get to bed as well" mabel looked down but nodded aspen climbed in to his bed after mabel got in hers after a few minutes she could hear mabels snores he looked at his phone it was late midnight so he got up and slowly crept down stairs he got a glass of water and want to the brake room to grab some stuff to acted like he was restolcking the gift shop he put things up on the counters and waited until he heard stan walking up the stairs of the basement the vending machine opened and stan frecked out when he saw aspen "hey kido watcha doing here" he laughed awkwardly "i could ask the same of you stanly" aspen put another booble head up on the shelf as stans jaw dropped and he started stuttering "how what who huh why" aspen seemed quite amused by his lack of words "good luck" he said placing the last boodle head on the self and begining to walk back up stairs "in saving your brother I mean" right as he turned his head Stan called out "wait" aspen looked at him "how, how did you know that?" He asked Aspen smiled with his eyes closed "I know lots of things" and walked back up stairs to bed
