At the precint, Olivia is in the office talking on the phone and she seem worried.
"Thanks for informing me, good day."; responds Olivia as she hangs up. She then dials a call a couple of times but voice mail. She goes on with the rest of her day then drives home where she calls to order pizza and goes to freshen up. A few minutes later there is a knock on the door, she grabs the cash from her bag and opens thinking it's the pizza.
"Why are you guys knocking?"; asks Olivia as she turns back and walk to the kitchen. A boy and young woman walk in, the boy and Olivia share a hug before he goes to lay on the couch with the box his holding.
"Well last time I didn't knock I walked in on you and Alex degrading that couch. Look at that, it is still here?"; responds Kaye as she moves towards Liv for a hug. They chuckle and share a tight hug, they pull off when someone knocks on the door.
"That must be pizza." says Olivia taking the money again walking to the door. She pays for the pizza, asks Noah to go wash up and join to eat. Kaye grabs plates and and set them on the counter. They eat and talk for a while, Noah seem very excited. He is telling about the day he had with Kaye and catching her up on the 2 months she has been away. Soon Liv looks at the clock and say he must go brush his teeth and get ready for bed. He wasn't happy but doesn't argue and hugs the two women and leave the room. Liv and Kaye do the dishes and Liv goes to check on him and return to find Kaye had poured wine for both of them.
"I hate red wine."; says Kaye as she takes a sip and places her glass back on the coffee table. Olivia just chuckles and crush on the couch, they sit in silence for a few minutes before Kaye breaks the silence.
"Are you going to tell me what happened?"; asks Kaye leaned to the couch facing the ceiling. Olivia sits up and takes a big sip of the wine then lean back looking at the ceiling too.
"Noah."; exhales Liv as she response.
"He is worried. One Mom moved out. His rotating between two houses. And that you two haven't said a word to each other in weeks."; respond Kaye as she face Liv. Liv turn back to Kaye with teary eyes. Kaye pulls her closer and cuddle her.
"Stop taking Noah out of school during the day, you almost gave me a heart attack. You're lucky the teacher recognized you."; says Liv trying to change the subject.
"It's my aunty duty to break rules with him. I also got bored waiting for after school plus I looked really creepy parked outside the school watching the kids."; chuckles Kaye.
"Elliot showed up at our door a month back. Noah was at a friend's house."; says Olivia.
"Okay?"; responds Kaye with a tone waiting for more context.
"He confessed about his feelings to me and kinda of kissed me."; says Liv as she goes to pour more wine in her glass and taking a sip.
"Oh my soul!"; says Kaye as she grabs the glass from Olivia's hands and chugging it.
"Alex heard and saw it all."; says Olivia refilling her glass which Kaye grabs along with hers and chug them down one by one handing empty glasses to Olivia who refills them again. They sat in silence for some time and just drinking till the bottle was empty.
"Say something, please."; says Liv who sounds drunk.
"You hesitated, didn't you?"; asks Kaye.
"I was confused, a lot happened in one night. My head wasn't clear. I didn't think Elliot felt that way after all this years."; says Liv leaning back to the couch.
"Have you seen yourself. Olivia when your wife asks you if she looks fat? You don't look then answer. You just answer and the answer is, NO. Immediately. Never thought i would have to teach you all this." says Kaye.
Olivia is very quiet. "Liv you don't love Elliot. You loved the idea of him, you wanted what he had then. Security of a stable family. Oh my soul, it's in his name: STABLER!"; says Kaye as she laughs at her last sentence.
Olivia just stare at Kaye as she is laughing, then she storms up. Kaye follows her.
"I'll drive. No. We're both drunk. I'll grab my purse."; says Kaye searching for her purse in her bag.
"Wait Noah is sleeping, we can't leave him alone."; respond Olivia while putting on a coat.
Kaye hands her some cash and Olivia runs out the door, then hail for a cab outside. A couple of minutes later she is entering a building and almost missed a step and fell. She gets to a door and knock a couple of times. The light outside the door turn on and she hears foot steps towards the door. But a minute passes and the door doesn't open.
"I am really drunk and my sister didn't give me enough money to catch a cab back."; says Olivia as she is leaning to the door.
She hears the door unlock but she is too drunk to realize she is using the door to keep herself up, the minute the door opens she falls right in.
"That's going to hurt in the morning."; chuckles Alex as she looks down at her drunk wife laying on the floor.
"That's going to bruise."; says Olivia to herself.
Alex helps her up and walks her to the couch ,and turns to get water. She comes back and hands the glass of water to Liv but instead of drinking she places it on the floor. She pulls Alex in, hugging her tight. Alex hesitated at first but she gave in.
"I messed up."; says Liv before she was cut off by Alex kissing her.
