AN: So I'm sorry for not updating this book for a while, but here is another one of just their anniversary, just a sweet cute oneshot. I hope you like it..Thank you as well to all who commented caring about my mental health. It means a lot. I'm not great, but I am much better now than before. Anyways though, here's the oneshot. Thank you for reading.

Naruto and Sasuke had been dating for eleven months and twenty-nine days. Sasuke had been counting down since their first date, trying to think of something special to do for their year anniversary.

He remembered every second of their time together. Every day, they had lunch and spent the afternoon together, and every other weekend had a special date, a day all for themselves. Sometimes at home, sometimes at ichhirakus, sometimes just right outside the village in the forest, just them two.

It was nice. Sasuke wasn't used to being happy, but he was. He wouldn't trade what he had now for anything. Naruto was his everything now, and he would never let him go. Naruto saved him from the darkness and himself, and he needed him. He was the only one who meant really anything to him, and he knew without him he would have never come back to the village.

That morning, Sasuke had woken up next to Naruto in bed and let himself smile a little, the corner of his mouth twitching up a bit as he leaned over and gently kissed him. He wasn't used to kissing, but it felt really nice, and he liked how Naruto made him feel.

Then, as he sat up and rubbed his eyes, his gaze fell on the calendar, and he remembered what day it was. Their first year anniversary.

It was special. This was the day they finally made it official, the day they started to date, the day they had their first kiss.

Usually, people waited for a while for their first kiss, but Naruto being Naruto, had just went out and kissed him randomly while they were watching a movie in bed together.

Sasuke had of course been shocked and didn't kiss back, which had made Naruto pull back and stutter all embarrassed and feeling like he did something wrong. They had made up though, and although it took a while, Sasuke started to kiss Naruto on his own, not just reciprocating when Naruto started it.

Sasuke never really imagined being with anyone, having a boyfriend, a lover, someone he cared about besides his family after they were gone, but now he was glad he had him. Naruto helped him through his trauma and struggles and helped make him into a better person. He knew he wouldn't be the same without him.

As Sasuke looked back at the sleeping blonde next to him, he smiled again, knowing all of his happiness came from him. His sunshine. The light of his life. He couldn't imagine his life without him, Naruto giving his life meaning.

He had always thought he wasn't enough for him, but Naruto always assured him he was. He was one of the only people, if not the only person who never gave up on loving him. It took weeks for him to open up with his emotions, but somehow Naruto did get Sasuke to show them, even when he thought he never would.

Sasuke gave Naruto another kiss before quietly getting up, stretching and sighing, and then going out to the kitchen. He started to get breakfast ready, some eggs and bacon and pancakes, knowing Naruto loved his cooking. He was the one who usually cooked, but he was trying to teach Naruto how to as well, since every time Naruto had tried to cook without him, he got distracted and ended up burning something.

Sasuke did enjoy the pancakes Naruto had made him for his birthday, but that was really all he knew how to make now. And on top of that, the kitchen was a mess when Naruto had been done, and Sasuke didn't want to have to clean up after him again.

Sasuke didn't really mind, though. He still loved how much love Naruto always put into everything for him, always trying his best, even when things didn't turn out great.

Sasuke sighed after a bit once he finished cooking, putting the food on a plate, his new bandaged prosthetic arm coming in handy. He hadn't wanted it, but Naruto had convinced him to get one a few weeks after they started dating, and he couldn't deny him, especially since it had been his birthday.

Then he took the food and a glass of orange juice to the bedroom, making everything really nice for Naruto, putting some roses and a card he had gotten him the night before on the tray next to the bed too, hoping he would like it. He knew Naruto liked everything he did for him, but he still got self concious sometimes, not being able to help it, Naruto being perfect to him.

Then he just waited, sighing as he remembered he forgot to make himself something, but he didn't mind, just knowing Naruto might worry. After a few more moments, he turned his head as he heard Naruto wake up, smiling a bit again as he reached, brushing some strands of Naruto's hair out of his face.

"Morning.." He mumbled a little as ocean eyes met his, and then he got to watch his sun light up with a smile and sit up with a stretch.

"Morning Sasu." Naruto said, stretching and smiling tiredly, and then that's when he noticed the food, roses, and card on the tray, making him blush, getting confused for a moment until Sasuke reminded him what day it was.

"Happy anniversary.." Sasuke mumbled, and then Narutos smile grew more, and he hugged onto Sasuke tight, nuzzling against his chest. "Happy anniversary."

Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto in return, a small smile on his face too as he just breathed in his scent from his hair, nuzzling his face in it, loving how fluffy it was. Then he slowly let go after another few moments and just sat with him, the tray of food in front of them.

"It looks really good, Sasuke." Naruto said with a smile as he kissed Sasuke's cheek and then started to eat, making a small pink tint Sasuke's cheeks.

Even with Naruto, Sasuke still wasn't used to compliments, and it made him happy he was able to provide for his boyfriend. He had grown up only looking after himself, they both had, but now that they had each other, it was different, and they were happier than ever.

"I hope you like it.." Sasuke said, knowing Naruto did though with how fast he was eating.

"Mhm!" Naruto swallowed a bite and then smiled and got a pancake before holding it out on the fork. "You want some?"

Sasuke smiled softly, knowing Naruto would offer sooner or later, it just being like him. "Sure."

Sasuke opened his mouth and ate the pancakes off of the utensil with a smile and then gave him a light kiss, making Naruto blush.

"Hurry up, I have other things planned for us today, too." Sasuke said, and then Naruto nodded, his grin not leaving his face as he continued to happily eat.

Once Naruto finished, then Sasuke took his plate and cup and put them away, coming back to see Naruto reading the card and looking at the red roses that were in the vase.

"I didn't know what your favorite flower was, so I just decided on roses.." Sasuke mumbled a bit, and then he froze up as Naruto had suddenly jumped up and hugged onto him, but then slowly relaxed, a smile forming on his face again as he hugged back.

"I love them Sasuke..And thank you for the card." He said with a smile as he pulled back, getting teary eyed.

"Hn..Crying already?" Sasuke teased and gently brushed Narutos cheek with his hand.

"Hmph, no." Naruto said, half pouting and half smiling, and then Sasuke gently pulled his hand and started walking. "Come on. Let's get dressed. We're going out."

"Oh, alright." The blonde said with a big smile as he followed his boyfriend to their closet, both smiling as Naruto tried to guess where they were going as they got dressed together.

Then soon they headed out, Sasuke holding Narutos hand, their fingers intertwined as they walked down the streets of Konoha, ignoring the stares, not caring, the cool wind and cloudy skies making it a perfect day for a walk together.

Then, after a few minutes, they stopped right outside the academy, and Naruto tilted his head. "Huh? Why'd we stop here?"

Sasuke looked at him and then gently pulled Naruto along with him and walked around to the back, and then Naruto had looked around confused before his eyes spotted it, and tears of happiness welled up again.

There, in the middle of the yard, was the tree and swing he always used to sit at in the academy when he felt down. It was always depressing and lonely for him, but now, though, it was wrapped with smooth red ribbons, and under the shade of the tree next to it, rose petals covering a blanket with a picnic basket sat on the cool grass.

Naruto stood there in silence for a moment before Sasuke started to walk over with him, and Naruto followed. "Sasuke..It's beautiful y'know.." He said with a smile, never thinking Sasuke would ever do anything like this for him, not expecting him to plan so much, not even sure how he got all this ready so perfectly.

"I'm glad you like it." Sasuke said with a smile, and then he sat down with him on the swing, arm around his waist as they sat there together, enjoying the breeze.

"It's peaceful.." Naruto said after a few moments of just silence, usually all loud and wanting to do something, but this was nice, and he didn't want to move from Sasukes side.

Then they just sat there, watching the clouds move and leaves that had fallen off the tree blow, Naruto eventually just closing his eyes with a smile as he enjoyed the quiet.

Neither of them really thought they would end up with eachother. They had been best friends for almost forever, but they had both just discovered their feelings for eachother. Sasuke had never even believed he would find anyone, not even really wanting to, but then he started to feel different with Naruto, and knew he couldn't live without him, Naruto making him happy.

Soon they had gotten down on the blanket and Naruto let out a half laugh as he leaned against Sasuke, watching him open the picnic basket. "We already ate y'know."

"I know.." Sasuke said, and then instead of pulling out food, he pulled out a small fluffy black kitten with a red bow around its neck, showing it to him with a small blush. "I..found her..I thought you might like her.."

Naruto had gotten a huge smile on his face as soon as he had seen the small tired kitten, excitedly taking her from him once he had held her out. "Aw, she's so cute!" He said, putting her in his lap and petting her. "She reminds me of you."

The corner of Sasukes mouth lifted a bit at the comment, reaching and petting the kittens head as well as Naruto just started to talk and talk about what he would do with her once they got home, Sasuke just listening as the minutes past.

"Hm..What should we name her? Mini Sasu." Naruto said with a bit of a laugh and playful smile before then they finally cleaned up, and Sasuke took Naruto to the store to buy things for the kitten before they would head home.

Naruto happily went around in the store, picking out a small orange collar for her and getting a nametag printed out before going and looking at the food and treats, wanting to get her everything she needed.

Sasuke smiled softly as he watched the blonde go around the store getting different things, ending up with trying to carry Kuro in one arm and trying to drag along a cat bed, cat tree, litter box with litter, cat food with bowls, and toys with the other.

Sasuke sighed with a slight smile and went over, having Naruto let go of everything but the bed and toys. "I got everything else." He said, carrying the rest.

"Thanks Sasu." Naruto replied with a smile and then happily went off to the register with the raven haired male, Sasuke watching him the whole way.

Sasuke just couldn't keep his eyes off the smiling blonde, even as he paid. His happy energy was just radiating off of him, making Sasuke feel happy as well.

Naruto brang light to his life and made his life better. That's why Sasuke had been doing so much for him, not just today but the past months, too. Naruto deserved the world, and Sasuke wanted to give that to him. He loved him with all of his heart, more than anything, and he would do anything for him, anything to make him happy.
