Chapter 1

Her chambers were as dark as it was every time, she woke up. She did not know what to feel anymore. Angry at the betrayal she faced almost every one of her life or sad that she gets to redo it repeatedly which ends in betrayal after betrayal.

She sighed and turned on her bed. Nobody was there with her. She was all alone, just like her last life, when she lost everything including her sanity, and let it loose. She still remembered everything vividly. She does not understand what this phenomenon is. She does not know who is behind this, but she wants it to stop. She wants the pain of losing her loved ones again and again to stop. It's not like she did not try. She tries saving her sons, her loyal and kind friend Missandei and her sweet bear Jorah, but they always end up dead just like her. But now, after what she went through all she could do was learn not to show any pain to others, learn how to be cold to others, and go through the motions of life without ambition, passion, pride, and the belief that she is born to make the impossible, possible just because she birthed dragons.

Once she cared about everything but now she doesn't. Once being the last Targaryen was her everything, and now it is not. There were times when she cared about what people would think of her, whether they would welcome her with open arms, whether they would love her for being the queen she was, once she was naive enough to dream of a red house with a lemon tree outside the window and now she does not.

She was always a powerful pawn in other's games of thrones, not the queen, but always the pawn that would reach the end of the enemy line to change into a queen, which would be destroyed once it proved its usefulness. She felt nothing even after knowing that.

She only wanted peace for her. This time she knows she will attain that peace through death. ETERNAL DEATH, one where you won't wake up again to that hideous ceiling and await another betrayal, see your sons and your other loved ones die in front of you. No, she wanted a death where she would keep her eyes closed and know nothing anymore. But she has no idea how to attain it. She searched for it in her 6th life only to find nothing.

She got up from her bed and went to the balcony to see the sunrise and her very alive children playing on the beach. She was now in Dragonstone. Her entourage reached here two moons ago and they were waiting for her allies to arrive at Dragostone. But for her, it was lifetimes ago. She always woke up at this point in her life. Always at Dragonstone, never at Meereen, like whatever behind her suffering was telling her that this was her place, this is where she belonged. But never the people of Westeros. They don't want her here. To make sure she doesn't stay here, they stab her, poison her, assassinate her. They do everything in the book to keep her out of Westeros. Once she even gave in to their wish and left Westeros. They found her and then she died. Nothing changed. The people of Westeros do not want her alive. This time she was also a part of it. Nothing else changed.

When she was lost in these thoughts, delving deep into her misery, she heard Drogon's screeches. He must have realized that they returned. It was always him who returned with her, not her other sons. She doesn't know why, maybe because he is her most bonded son. She found out this in her third life. Drogon was furious just like she was. He also wanted to do nothing with Westeros and he became fiercely protective of his brothers and her which were not at all like him.

She whispered to Drogon in her mind, "I know son." She could feel his thoughts too. Drogon was also tired. He sensed her emotions and remembered all her six lives, unlike his brothers. She was glad that it was Drogon who remembered. He was the strongest out of all of them both physically and mentally. Viserion was soft and gentle while Rheagal was very forgiving. He forgave Jon, didn't he?

Soon her Westeros allies will be here to meet with her and discuss the fate of King's Landing and Westeros. She did not want anything to do with it. But there is no other choice for her. She brought her people from Essos here. The Unsullied, The Dothraki, and the Second Sons are all here under her command. They believed her, especially the Dothraki, and they crossed the poisoned water for their Khaleesi. She should have listened to them. It was poisoned both the water and the land.

She heard the door to her chambers opening and saw Missandei entering. She was so relieved to see her again. She did not know what happened to Missandei in her last life. She died before seeing her. She does not want to get close to her and experience pain excruciating when she dies this time. She won't get close to anybody ever again. She was all alone in this world and she will be again.

"Your grace, You are up?"

"Yes, Missandei."

"I heard from Lord Tyrion that our allies are nearing the Island, my queen."

"I know."

Missandei hesitated before asking, "Your grace, is something wrong?"

"No. Thank you for informing me. You can leave now", her answers were all so cold even to her and she did not bother apologizing.

"But Your grace, your hair needs to be braided."

When Daenerys heard Missandei saying that all Daenerys could do was laugh. Missandei looked startled at the sudden laugh. But soon Daenerys's eyes turned cold.

She thought of her failure of a life and decided to follow her Dothraki custom.

"Missandei, do me a favor, will you?"

"I am at your disposal, your grace." Always kind and loyal, Daenerys could only smile at that wryly.

"Cut off my hair."

"Your grace!" Missandei was so shocked. "Why would you cut off your hair? Your braids are the symbol of your victories. I was thinking of how and where to add another one when you take your throne, but you want me to cut off your hair!" Missandei was beyond indignant.

"Your grace, what would your Dothraki soldiers think? They might not follow you anymore."

Daenerys was okay with that too. Then she would not feel this enormous amount of guilt for their countless deaths.

"No need to worry about that. If they stop following me, then it will only be good for them. I thought you were at my disposal, Missandei. Please cut off my hair. If you are not doing it, I will be the one to do it."

Missandei very reluctantly agreed and she looked very worried when Daenerys saw her through the mirror. Daenerys's long hair now came down only to her neck, but no one could deny her uncommon beauty.

"Thank you, Missandei. I will take care of the other things myself."

"...Yes, Your grace." With that Missandei left the queen's chambers.

Daenerys bathed and adorned her dress. She did not care about her house colors anymore. She just wore a simple but elegant black dress with a cape on its back. It was a stark contrast compared to the regal and luxurious dresses she wore in Meereen or her past lives. Once she was presentable, she came out of her chambers only to see Missandei and Grey Worm's worried gaze.

She was surprised to see Grey Worm worried. Grey Worm looked confused at her attire. She might have looked very different to him after the day before. She cut her hair and she did not look anywhere as her normal self. Daenerys ignored his confusion and made her way to the throne with them in tow. She wanted to meet them at the throne room this time. This is the first time she is doing this. She did not even do this in her second life where she turned evil just like how Westeros imagined her. She was unnecessarily polite to them. She will do everything differently in this life and that includes her death. She wanted to die in her hands, not in others.

She heard footsteps and she turned to find Tyrion running towards her.

"Your grace, you are going to meet them here in this throne room?" He sounded winded.

"Yes."

"They are your allies not enemies, your grace."

"Are they?"

Tyrion was taken aback. It was just two words, but it sounded so powerful Tyrion was flustered.

"Of course they are. Let's meet them at the painted table."

"We will meet them here. Grey Worm, escort the guests here. And Tyrion, I never accepted them as allies. Only you and Varys did." She made her way to the throne and sat at it cross-legged.

Tyrion was very flustered again. Daenerys seemed cold today. She seemed very disinterested. And this was also the first time she called him Tyrion and not Lord Tyrion. He can't say anything to that, she is queen after all. But Daenerys didn't feel like her at all. Maybe he drank too much this morning. He needed all that wine to meet Ellaria Sand and not jump at her to claw out her eyes for her deeds against his niece. But he did not know that would affect his senses this much. He is seeing his passionate and warm-hearted queen, as cold. Now that he looked at her, she seemed very different. What the hell happened to her hair? Did she cut it? Tyrion sensed something very wrong and turned to Missandei for answers only to find Missandei very worried.

'Why is she looking that worried? He should have a talk with her after this meeting.'

Daenerys sighed while waiting and asked Missandei to bring Lady Olenna a chair. Olenna helped her in a lot of her timelines. After some time Grey Worm entered the throne room along with Varys. He surprisingly stayed silent on this throne room matter. It looked like Varys did not see them as allies. Daenerys did not know that before. How interesting! Then the guests entered.

Ellaria Sand and her sand snakes first and then Olenna Tyrell with her grandson Willas Tyrell. They greeted Daenerys which she returned.

"Weren't we allies, Varys?" asked Olenna while sitting in her chair. She could not stand for a long time at her age.

Varys looked at Daenerys and she just ignored him and the others present. At least she showed up for the meeting. They can take care of the other things themselves.

"I made a proposition, lady Olenna. It's Her Grace's decision whether to accept you as an ally or not. We are gathered here to discuss that, my lady."

Varys as usual was a conniving old goat. Daenerys sighed at Varys's response and Olenna raised her eyebrows at him.

"I thought you clever, Varys. I thought you knew what being an ally is all about. Both sides bring something to the table. I bring you money and support, while our queen here brings Cersei's head. Is that not what we agreed?" Ellaria was nodding along.

Varys didn't answer.

Daenerys took the mantle. "As sharp as I heard, Olenna." But Olenna didn't answer. "Just like you said, both sides bring something to the table. But I don't need your money or support. Do you have anything else to offer?"

Olenna looked at her for a moment and smirked. "I thought you would be a sheep after hearing tales about you from Varys. But it looks like we both were wrong. You are a dragon."

"How interesting! Varys sees me as a sheep." was Daenerys's emotionless reply. Everyone present in the throne room was unnerved by her response and demeanor. Her advisors were confused by her actions while her guests were surprised. The guests all had different images of Daenerys. Olenna thought Daenerys was some young queen without any experience who had dragons and relied on them for her victories, while Ellaria thought of her as another Targaryen who would be nothing before a Dornish and would seek an alliance. She even started to look for men in the Martell family to marry off to Daenerys.

But the Queen they are witnessing has a very scary aura and seems indifferent and she is not desperate like they thought she would be. From Vary's description, she sounded inexperienced and ready to welcome any advice with open arms. She did take the dwarf and the eunuch who had served her enemies before into her counsel. She even made one of them her Hand. Olenna underestimated Daenerys severely.

"Varys, why don't you repeat the tales you have been telling Olenna here? Let us all here, how I was a sheep!" Again she did not care about Varys or the guests he had brought here. Or at least it was how it looked outside. But inside Daenerys was fuming. She had lived six lives and still, it looked like she would find a lot more about her life. Things started turning toward darkness way before it was revealed that Jon was an heir to the throne.

"I have not portrayed you as such to anyone, Your grace. Looks like they misunderstood everything I said." was Varys's answer.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, Your grace."

"You are dismissed from my council from here onwards, Varys. Try looking for another King or Queen who you think will be better for the realm. Or who is sheep enough to be puppet King or Queen."

Shock ran through the room. Nobody expected, not even Varys who thought himself cunning and clever. Not Tyrion obviously, he looked bewildered. Even Missandei and Grey Worm's faces betrayed emotions. But Daenerys was unfaced. She had no time to play games with him. He is practically useless to her. She obtained what she needed from him. His information is useless. She did not want to hear his annoying know-it-all voice ever again. She threw him away. Just like he did.

All he can do now is go around Westeros telling, Daenerys is a mad queen and is here to torture them or something. Or he can poison her just like he did before in her other lives. That is if he was alive. He won't breathe for a long time.

"Your Grace! Why?" Daenerys never witnessed emotions other than a smirk on his face before. But now he looked shocked.

"I don't want to waste either my time or my energy on you Varys. Either you go out or you will be forcefully removed."

"Please just tell me why, Your grace."

"You are bound to betray me. I don't like traitors. I thought I could use you just like you are using me to stay in power. But now I don't have any use for you. Get out."

Tyrion looked at the Queen like she had grown two horns since he saw him yesterday. What had happened to her? Daenerys was not the type of person who would abandon her people. But he is witnessing this spectacle right before his eyes. Varys, the Master of Whisperers, is being cast aside without any regret on her side. Daenerys is still looking very passive for someone who is driving their advisor out of their council.

Varys stood there shocked. Tyrion can't blame him of course, who wouldn't? But after some time the eunuch collected himself in a very Varys fashion and let himself out.

"Fich yeri jin azho anhaan." Daenerys told her blood rider nearby.

Missandei didn't even flinch. Her queen just ordered Kharro to kill Varys and throw him into the water for the fish. Missandei knew her queen could be violent when she wanted and could be gentle when the times required it. But this is the first time she has seen it after Tyrion and Varys became her advisor. Missandei always prided herself that she knew her queen the most, but now she is learning new sides of her again. Missandei stopped worrying about her queen's change and started marveling at the mystery she had become.

Daenerys started talking once the dust settled.

"Bend your Knee to me and accept me as your queen, you will get what you want. Else face me in war. Choose" was all she said to the guests. Tyrion was appalled at what was happening before him.

"Your grace? What are you doing?"

"Shut up, Tyrion. Your council is required only when I ask you for something. Don't speak until I give you permission to." Tyrion was stunned speechless.

Olenna came forward to speak. "I am neither a man nor stupid. I bend my knee to Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen and acknowledge her as the Queen of Seven Kingdoms. House Tyrell and Highgarden will be with Her grace in all her upcoming trials and celebrations. Forgive me, Your grace, I can't literally bend my knee. I am too old for that."

"That's good enough, Olenna. You will be rewarded with Cersei's head. What about you Ellaria?"

Ellaria was not confident in winning a war against Daenerys when she had one against Cersei. Daenerys commands three dragons and she saw them on her way here. Dorne is not as strong as it was once before. She killed Dorne's prince, started a civil war in the Kingdom, and ran all the way here for revenge. She can't win against Daenerys.

"I, Ellaria Sand, ruler of Dorne, bend my knee to Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen and acknowledge her as the Queen of Seven Kingdoms. Dorne will always be with Her Grace in her challenges and celebrations."

"Now as your queen, I order you to step down and appoint the forces leading the civil war in your kingdom as the prince or princess of Dorne. You killed an innocent child when you couldn't take revenge on her mother. You killed your husband's brother and his son to avenge your husband's death. I can't trust you. You do that, I will avenge your husband and put both Cersei's and the Mountain's head under your feet. If you accept this offer, I will consider not killing you." Daenerys was being a hypocrite, but she didn't care. She cared about her peace more than anything now and Daenerys needs an absolute victory this time to make sure she rests forever and she will do anything to achieve that. Anything.

"... Yes, Your grace." Ellaria had no other choice but to agree. She became the ruler of Dorne to avenge her husband after all.

"Thorgha nudha, gūrogon se dovaogēdy se jikagon naejot highgarden. Ossēnagon se lannister mentyr. Capture jaime lannister se se sellsword rūsīr zirȳla se maghagon zirȳ kesīr." (Grey Worm, take the Unsullied and go to Highgarden. Kill the Lannister soldiers. Capture Jaime Lannister and the sellsword with him and bring them here.)

"Kessa, issa dāria."

Daenerys made her way out of the throne room.
