Prologue
Alpha Build Launched
Gravesfield, Connecticut
June 1st 2021
Gravesfield hospital
She didn't she would be here again not since Manny passed in this very place. No she was here once again with a member of her family resting here.
The woman in question is a Dominican-American woman with tan skin and a medium body frame and brown eyes, as well as brown eyebrows. She has short brown hair. She is wearing an orange and red sweater, a gold necklace, a badge shaped like a heart with the rainbow pride flag, large, blue earrings, blue jeans, two-tone brown boots, and glasses with golden-yellow frames.
It had been a long day today for Camila Noceda or rather it had been a rough year for her as she was waiting for information about her daughter and her… friend?, girlfriend?, lover?, wife?
They might as well be that last one since the both of them went through hell and back.
What hell she was talking about why the simulations incident. Where a clandestine group wanted to test several inventions. Mostly the VRS, the Lazarus Device and the Foundry machine and the 'lucky' two that tested the machines were her Daughter Luz Noceda and a mysterious girl named Amity Blight.
"Oh dios mio salva a mi Hija." Camila said.
It was then a doctor appeared.
"Excuse me Miss Noceda? I'm here to tell you about your daughter and her friend." The Doctor said.
"Oh doctor are they alright?" Camila asked.
"Yes their both alright physically but mentally… we have no idea." The doctor said.
"Oh lord." Camila said.
"Yes from what the Lazarus AI stated the both of them are in the greatest physical state." The Doctor said.
Camila frowned she knew that. She was told that multiple times and quite frankly she didn't want to hear about that anymore.
Thankfully the doctor noticed it.
"Oh. Where are my manners. My name is Dr. Marcus Laslow." The now named Marcus said.
"Camila Noceda." Camila said as she introduced herself.
"Ok with that out of the way we can now discuss about your daughter and girlfriend." Marcus said as Camila nodded.
"Alright then first things first as you know that Luz has…" Marcus started to say but couldn't finish.
"It's ok doctor I can take it I was there when they initially found them." Camila said.
"Alright as you know Luz Noceda had died a total of 779 deaths in between the 10 games she played." Marcus said.
Over 700 times her bebe had died over 700 times. Camila felt ill now she knew why those three never gave her a number.
"As for Amity Blight she had died over 824 times." Marcus said as Camila paled.
"Oh god." Camila said as she sat down.
"Now then… I'll blunt it would be easier to list what didn't kill Luz and Amity. But as of now we have them sedated until otherwise." Marcus said.
"Well then wake them up." Camila said.
"That is not up to you and you know it Camila." Marcus said.
Camila cursed under her breath knowing that it was true.
Especially since the both attacked the doctors that woke them up.
"Alright then you've been cleared to see them." Marcus said.
Camila nods as she goes inside.
As she does she sees her daughter and girlfriend (?).
Luz's tan skin was shown her hair was long, curly and brown. Little green lines resembling a circuit board gave a dimmed glow. She had bigger muscles and better curves under those sheets. She was hooked up to those machines.
She could help imagine her husband Manny Noceda in place of her daughter.
Camila shakes her head as she turned her gaze to Amity Blight.
Like Luz she has long brown hair. But unlike Luz her hair was straight and had green tips most likely dyed her skin was pale she also has the same circuit board pattern on her. She also has pointed ears like an elf from Luz's books and if what the doctors told her was true she had an organ attached to her heart releasing bile throughout her circulatory system. She was also much, MUCH curvier then Luz.
She didn't care about that she only cared that she went through the same thing her Mija did.
"I hope I get to know the girl who stole my daughter's heart." Camila said with a smile.
She knew he daughter was Bisexual as she herself is the same. She chuckled at the Idea of embarrassing Luz with her baby photos while this Amity Girl coos at them.
Soon however it was time for her to leave.
"Volvere pronto Mija." Camila said as she kissed the top of Luz's forehead.
After Camila leaves and as hospital activity slows down two sets of eyes open. One brown and the other gold.
It was then that both girls are awake.
"So do we tell them that we were always awake or not?" Luz asked.
"We'll tell them the in morning mi sol." Amity said.
"Yeah you're right I really just want to go home." Luz said.
"I do too and your mom sounds awesome." Amity said with a smile.
"Were it not for these dumb wires I would be kissing you right now." Luz said with a grin.
Amity moves her arms a bit and nods.
"Yeah they suck. Good night Luz. I love you." Amity said with a smile.
"Night Ams I love you too." Luz said.
The both of them soon go to sleep as the both slept and began to dream the events that started all of this.
Flashback
One year ago
It was a bad day for Luz Noceda. How bad? First her book report was ruined when they panicked upon seeing the garden snakes. Next the principal call her and her Mami again then she was being sent to a place called Reality Check Camp. She was sure that Principal Hal was getting kickbacks from that place why else would he force Mami to take her to that place. Now she along with some sort of elf girl were kidnapped by some guys in suits.
This day sucked ass.
Now they were pushed out of the truck they were forced in and both she and the elf girl were strapped into chairs.
"Good you two are awake." A male voice said.
The sacks over their heads were removed. Both girls shielded their eyes away until they adjusted.
Then they saw a monitor where they saw a person on it. The girls couldn't make out any features but they did noticed that the body shape and voice is that of a male.
"Ah I see that my men brought the both of you." The person on the monitor said.
"Who are you and why did you take us?!" The elf girl said.
"Oh please you're just an extra we just wanted the Dominican bitch. Not our fault that you appear before the girl." The person on the monitor said.
Luz was at least a bit thankful that they got her nationality right instead of Defaulting to Mexican.
"Why did you want me?" Luz asked.
"Oh simply put for us you're expandable. I am Tobias and the both of you are going to help us whether you like it or not." The now named Tobias said.
"Now then lieutenant I want you to prepare the Virtual Reality System." Tobias said.
After a few seconds nothing happened.
"I said prepare the VRS… what the fuck is going on? Stay right there." Tobias said as he walked away.
After a few seconds a shout was heard.
"WHAT DO MEAN WE DON'T HAVE THE ENVIORMENTAL DISCS!" Tobias shouted.
He then heard what happened.
"God damn it! What are we to do? Anyone have any Ideas?" Tobias said.
It was then he heard an idea from a solder of all things.
"Video games? Well I suppose the VRS was originally meant to be a video game system. Alright then if you have them bring them here and we'll get started." Tobias said.
After a few minutes the solder came back.
"Hmmm… Dead Space good taste, Prey good a game about moral choices, Dark Souls… ok I'm saving that one for last, FNAF and Slenderman those go first. Alright this is perfect thank you Pri- no Corporal Zanders." Tobias said.
He then turned to the girls and realized he had just said everything out loud.
"Aw hell… fuck it just send them the chambers." Tobias said.
The people behind the girls covered their heads until they were brought to a room where three machines were active. Soon the both of the girls head covers were removed as they see medical doctors all of them women.
The both of them were examined and soon shoved back to the room with the machines.
"Alright girls it's time for the test if successful you'll be release and go back home." A doctor said.
"Sure I guess." The Elf Girl said.
"Yeah." Luz said as she nodded.
"Good once you beat the ten games you'll leave and become even stronger." The doctor said.
"Wait games? Like Video Games?" Luz said.
The Elf girl was confused and the doctor lady sighed.
"Yes as you can see originally we were supposed to put the both of you with various environments but the solders didn't get them when we stole the VRS." The Doctor said.
"So you're using these Video Games instead." The Elf Girl said.
"That's right now then." The doctor said.
She gestured to two solders to place the girls on a pair of pods.
The girls didn't resist knowing that they didn't have any idea on how to get out in the first place.
Once inside the pods a blue liquid began to fill up once filled they slept.
The girls appeared in a black void soon the girls then looked at one another as the elf girl spoke.
"So… my name is Amity Blight." The now named Amity said.
"I'm Luz Noceda… so have you played any video games?" Luz asked.
"No and you?" Amity asked.
"Unless it was related to The Good Witch Azura. It's a nope." Luz said.
Amity raised an eyebrow.
"You like Good Witch Azura?" Amity started to say until she shakes her head.
"Normally I would talk about Azura nonstop but right now we should save it until this is over." Luz said.
"Oh right so I guess we're screwed huh." Amity said.
"Most likely yeah." Luz said as the both of them noticed the first game being announced.
SLENDERMAN.
"(What's Slenderman)?" Amity thought.
"(Well fuck)." Luz thought.
There was no going back now they needed to do this. Soon a flash of light engulfed the girls.
End flashback
Luz then woke up. She blinked for a bit before yawning. She looked at the IV containing the anesthesia and decided she wanted this thing out.
So she called the nurse.
After a few minutes though the nurse came along with several doctors.
They all looked nervous and it was silent until Luz spoke
"Um… so when can we leave?" Luz asked.
"Really Batata." Amity said.
Hours later
Noceda Residence
After a lot of tests Luz and Amity were finally allowed to go back home.
Well not yet they needed to tell the police about what happened and pick up the items made by the foundry including a pair of wooden statues. One was a purple snake and the other was a white cat.
After getting home they ate actual food. Mostly fried chicken and Chinese food. They also watched Netflix and they chilled.
After a while they decide to go to sleep and they sleep in the same bed. Camila was nervous about it but soon she accepted it.
"So… how do we do this?" Luz said.
"I have no idea but I think we should take it one step at a time Luz." Amity said.
"You're right Ams." Luz said with a smile.
"Let's get some sleep Batata." Amity said.
Soon the both of them slept a dreamless sleep.
With Camila
Camila was angry. She glared at no one but she wanted to. She was on the phone with the Gravesfield school district telling something that she didn't like.
"So you're telling that my daughter shouldn't get her education." Camila said.
"Well it's not that we are just worried about the other students." Principal Hal said.
"Ah ha. So how much are the rich ones paying you?" Camila said.
Principal Hal stood silent.
"I knew it. I also know about the kickbacks from Reality Check Camp." Camila said.
Hal was still silent.
Soon another person picked up the phone.
"I'm so sorry Miss Noceda. I'm Superintendent Palmers and I gonna tell you the truth. We being forced to do this. The richer parents paid us to try to expel Luz. The Simulation and they attacking their doctors gave them the ammunition needed to do so." Palmers said.
"Is there anything we can do?" Camila asked.
"Well thankfully we convinced the other parents that Luz should only take online classes only and is to be barred from school events." Palmers said.
Camila listened and took a deep breath calming any anger she had.
"Very well. I assume that refusing would expel my Daughter." Camila said.
"I'm afraid so Ms. Noceda." Palmers said.
"Thank you Superintendent Palmers I'll tell Luz." Camila said.
"Again I am so sorry about this. Good bye and good luck." Palmers said as he hanged up.
Camila hung the phone and soon she scowled.
"Damn it. I guess it can't be helped." Camila said.
Camila sighed as she looks at a family photo of herself, her husband Manny and her Daughter Luz.
She gave a sad smile.
"Oh Mija I hope one day you will shine like your name." Camila said as she cried.
She puts the photo back and decides to go to bed.
Unknown to Camila Luz listened to all of it. It sucked that she couldn't show off Amity but she didn't blame the parents.
"Poor Mama I hope she can feel better." Luz said as she felt something touch her cheek.
Luz turned to see her Palisman Stringbean.
Stringbean is a snake-like Palisman with small, pointed ears with dark pink insides, fur-like tufts on either side of her neck, small fangs, a dark purple forked tongue, and a lime green spherical appendage on the end of her tail. She has protruding eyes with dark purple irises and lime sclera, her upper back and body are aubergine in color, with a purple stripe running from the back middle of her head and ending in a point near the end of her tail. She has two more purple stripes separating her upper and lower body colors, running from her lower cheeks to the ball on her tail, and her lower body and underbelly are lavender. Her nose and upper snout are white and form into a heart shape on her forehead.
"Oh hello you sweet little power noodle." Luz said.
"Batata are you ok?" Amity asked.
"Yeah but sorry to say. That I can't show you off at school." Luz said as she explained what had happened.
"Well damn. Maybe I should let her pet Ghost for a while." Amity said.
As if she called the devil she came.
This was Amity's Palisman Ghost.
Ghost's appearance is that of a typical short-haired cat. She has white fur, periwinkle eyes, a light pink nose and paw pads.
"Hey Ghost." Amity said as she picks her up.
"Come on let's go back to bed. We help mama in the morning." Luz said as Amity nods.
The both of them went to bed and slept once more.
