In the beginning, there was nothing.

No colors, no rules, no gravity, no senses, no concepts, no beings. This was the pure definition of nothingness.

It remained nothing for billions upon billions of years.

This nothingness remained still; no beings existed within this reality, but the outer beings were aware.

In fact, this reality is being sold.

To whom? To those beings who can travel between realities, of course.

But who would buy an empty nothing of nothingness? Perhaps a god, a fictional character in the middle of a training arc meant to surpass supreme beings at the top of the strength leaderboard, someone bored, or even someone depressed… or maybe…

A human with a cheat ability?

That's an interesting concept. But do cheat abilities actually exist? It surely is impossible in our reality and in the narrative–

"Shut up, third-person narrator of this realm."

Out of nothing from nothing and nowhere, a color appeared somewhere, and as it rendered, a cold and dismissive voice came out speaking directly to the narrator.

"Will this become a fanfiction?" The still rendering figure that was now becoming 2D, stopped and after a while, he continued speaking, as if he heard something. "I thought so… There's no way I would grind in peace, now would I?"

He was talking to no one–

"Shut up." The still rende– "Buy basic 3d rendering."

In a blink of an eye, the still rendering partial space from which the voice was coming became fully 3D. It had all five senses: sight, touch, smell, hearing, and taste.

Now that I can accurately describe what is going on, I will start by–

"I'm getting bored by this narrator, can you do something to mute him for me?"

The figure that just spoke was a human. A young man with messy, spiky blonde hair and dark cyan eyes, he wore light gray jeans and a black school uniform, giving him an average yet appealing appearance.

Above him, an unnatural bar stood a few centimeters above his hair, reading: "Congratulations, user! You have successfully purchased Unmodified-Clean Reality Realm Domain 099!"

"Oh, would you look at this!" He was swiping his palm in the air in front of him like a crazy person petting a non-existent pet. "But, holy cow! It's kind of expensive…"

He was talking to no one. The land around him was a vast, white, empty cube so vast that you couldn't say where the walls were.

He placed his hands on his chin for a moment, thinking about–

"Okay, he can read my thoughts. I'm buying this." He said quickly out loud.

As soon as his arm fully extended, somehow, his hands vanished from this reality. But after a bit of moving around, he retrieved his arm with a now-found headphone in his hand.

It was quite a special-looking headphone. It was shaped like an everyday headset, but there was no wiring. The arc between the two speakers, which held the entire headphone together, was almost missing. It was transparent.

He didn't hesitate to put it on.

"This is so much better! No more grandpa's voice speaking loudly into my brain!"

He said again to no one. He felt… I can't tell anymore.

I… I can't read him! What? How is this possible?

"I bet he/she is freaking out. Not my problem, I don't want to do this to be a fucking character in a fanfiction."

Well, for now, I'll skip the fact that I'm now a limited third-person narrator and continue this.

The young man walked forward.

But he abruptly stopped in place and looked at a convenient part of the "sky" and a specific angle, staring intensely and precisely. "Oh, you can't place my thoughts directly anymore," he sighed and shrugged his shoulders, "So, I guess I should just talk out loud then."

"I don't like talking out loud because it's creepy, but whatever. It will just be while I set up my initial farm."

"Let's see… This reality is kind of big, actually. 3 times the size of Earth worth of space!" He then stared at the same place in the "sky".

"By the way, don't compare the size with your universe; otherwise, this is small. Really small. It can't even fit the solar system here." He sighed and shook his head.

And still with his eyes closed, he continued, "But I didn't need something as fancy as that." He opened his eyes and looked straight into the white box. "I practically just needed something the size of a state or less. I basically just wanted to do a theater to gather RP way faster."

He extended his hand and looked at the space where his hand was, his eyes moved as if reading something. "Why? Simple, I'm one of those generic system users. But my system had an exploit that allowed me to become an outer being—being an outer being is wild, by the way."

"Now, I have access to literally every hyperverse. Sadly, my outer-pass is up to hyperverses. If you're confused, try thinking of: Moons, planets, stars, galaxies, universe, universe group, universe supergroup, universe hypergroup, multiverse, metaverse, xenoverse, and finally, hyperverse. That's where I stop."

"Other outer's laugh at my almost insignificant access, but they don't burst out laughing because of the prideful beginners that have only up to multiverse and think they can explore everything. I laugh at them too." He smirked.

"Anyway, if you think I'm OP because of this, don't. Just because I can travel, doesn't mean I'm strong." He looked up at his shoulder and then said, "But thankfully, I'm somewhat average in this cosmic scale."

"So, even if I'm your current strongest character, I assure you, I'm not. In the universe hypergroup I'm originally from, there's a fucking maniac who is strongly OP. I really mean OP. Like OverPowered!"

"He doesn't have access to universe hypergroup, thankfully. Otherwise…" He shivered upon considering.

"Don't even want to think about it. I think in your guys' universe, the author who will "write"—pfft—is still planning whether he will write the light novel. And he probably only has the volume 1, arc 1, first part beta written."

"Whether you see it or not, I'm not that op. That guy literally ate the personification of erasure and the personification of existence, and also combined them into his soul!"

"Fuck, he has–" He interrupted himself as he saw something in the direction his palm was extended, "I guess this is fair… And also, I really want to see his reaction on being in the place he died some few times."

He removed the headphones for a second and listened to nothing. "No, not nothing. You."

His eyes widened. "Wow, you can't see it. I'll need to do all the work? That's lame. I'm looking at a window with Roswaal Manor, you know, that mansion in Re:Zero."

He placed his headphones back. "Am I seriously going to buy this? I will only have RP remaining for bringing 19 people and the basic tools for a reaction… I would also need a couple for installing realm rules, so they don't kill themselves, wasting my RP."

"The destroyed manor seems cheaper…" He seemed like he was considering, "Nah, I'm not going to make my guests sleep in ruins."

"I'm not that heartless." He proudly stated.

With his hand still hovering over the certain space, he made a slight push forward and retrieved his arm back. Finally, the bar above him that was congratulating a certain "user" vanished.

The human figure was now patiently waiting for something to happen; he was even humming "Dot, dot, dot… Dot, dot, dot…" in rhythm, moving his eyes all together.

That was until now, when in a blink of an eye an entire building appeared out of thin air. A "pop" sound came a few nanoseconds before the building rendered. Colors began appearing more vividly: white, black, blue, gray, yellow, purple, green, and orange.

The manor is a giant white house with five watchtowers, the fifth of which stands in the center, a giant yard with a garden, and a black roof.

The garden is located on the outskirts of the mansion. There are several paths one can walk along. On the sides are small fields full of flowers, as well as some trees and bushes, and several rest areas.

Behind the mansion, a forest can be seen. And behind the vast amounts of trees and vegetation was the even vaster pure white box.

The high view of the place that had suddenly appeared was now complete.

Zooming again to the tiny ant-like figure that became more human as I got closer, he was stretching.

"Victory!" He spread his arms in the air and shouted victory.

He deadpanned and noted, "Okay my guy, that's kind of energetic. But I'd be embarrassed doing this over and over again with people observing."

He began walking, but as he took a step forward, he noticed the absence of something.

"There's no gravity… Is this a big of a deal?"

He took a few steps back and jumped.

The young man, as soon as he jumped, began levitating infinitely towards where his initial impulse sent him. Until he—of course—suddenly stopped in the air, placing his finger under his chin.

"Knowing Subaru, he will definitely notice, since he does comical stuff. Which I guess requires some inside force to do. And also, Beatrice and Roswaal are magic users."

"The world where Lugunica is located has a gravity similar to Earth, but if I remember correctly from my experiments back then, it's different by fractional numbers."

He went silent for a minute and sighed, "Nobody is going to notice, only the witches, I think. So as long as I don't bring the witches, I'm safe from existential crises in this first series."

Then, after he—in a swift movement—clicked something, he began falling into place. His figure remained unchanged while falling, only a few parts of his skin moving upward. His expression remained deadpan.

As he hit the ground, he said out loud, "Good enough."

"Now, time for the advanced class, laws of physics." He clicked, swiped, and dragged the space in front of him, like a maniac. "This should do, I guess."

He took a red handball out of nowhere by extending his arm. He threw the red ball.

The ball descended in an arc and ended a few meters in front of him after a few bounces.

He, weirdly, began swiping his finger in the space beside him. His head tilted a little to glance at the place he was swiping.

"Earth, Earth, Earth… Found it. Let's see… It's alright. Next."

Like he did with the ball, he now took a bow and an arrow out of nowhere.

He took the arrow and placed it upon the string. He pulled back and angled the arrow. The bow was tilted toward the sky.

He released his pressure on the string, and the arrow flew. The path the arrow took was also the expected normal. It arched as it reached a certain point and began going downwards in the direction of the red ball. The final destination of the arrow was when it collided with the red ball, piercing through it.

"Nice shot as always—wait, this is a test. It appears that everything is functioning normally."

At last, he took an apple out of thin air. For some reason, he giggled as he picked the apple.

"This is useless but just out of respect, I'll do it." He grabbed the apple firmly and threw upwards.

The apple fell on his head and then onto the ground.

"Paragraph comment here what reference was this."

«"But wait, this place doesn't have paragraph comments, does it? My bad, just ignore this obvious reader interaction the author made me go out-of-character for. Which he had to do again to tell you through me that paragraph comments are not a thing in this media you're reading."»

I do not know what this young man said out loud this time, but after all of these strange acts, he finally went back on his path to enter the manor.

Upon entering, it was noted that the mansion retains great elegance. There are two pillars, each with a pair of lamps. In addition to having high-class designs, there are lights near each door, as well as vases with flowers. On the road, there are two routes to the sides, right and left, and stairs leading up to the next floor.

The only person in this reality didn't search his surroundings and kept going upstairs.

He kept moving through the corridors, never seeming confused about where to go.

As he approached the end of the hallway, he placed his hand on the door in front of him and closed his eyes. The silence reigned in the reality again.

He stayed silent, unmoving, looking like a colorful statue.

He remained with his eyes closed but smirked for no apparent reason. "Nailed it."

He opened the door as he opened his eyes.

The scene upon opening the door was a huge two-story space with a spiral stair in the center of the room. The second floor consisted of a large balcony filled to the brim with bookshelves.

But the place started to blink into transparency. The walls and books began trying to become transparent or even disappear.

The human looked at the blinking light and said out loud, "What a problem! I know this isn't part of the original mansion, but this is the best I can do. Maybe if Beatrice comes here, the Library will calm down?"

He turned and left the library. When he had left, I noticed the library stopped trying to go transparent.

After this, he searched through all the mansion's rooms: the bathroom, bedrooms, dining hall, kitchen, closets, and so on.

He sat in the bedroom he was in, sighed, and looked outside. "Man, I don't believe a normal human being shut in managed to take care of this mansion without quitting. Props to Subaru's determination."

"Well, now all I need to do before kidnapp—bringing them in, is to copy and paste the universe's system. Otherwise, Beatrice would just crash out of existence and I would need to deal with an angry hypergod."

He tapped on something above the table, and his face changed into a yellow circle with glasses and two teeth. His left hand also turned yellow. All the parts that became yellow had a black outline.

He lifted his left index finger up and said out loud, "Erm, actually… I wouldn't have to deal with a hypergod but a universe god and then the supergroup supervisor for not doing a proper contract with them!"

He touched the same space and became normal again.

"God, I love this emote button." He smirked and shook his head, but then he heard something and turned his head to the right. "Hmm? What's this? I can gain RP from readers as well? I guess I don't mind being transcribed then~"

And thus, after this point, any regrets about being inside a fanfiction, even though he thinks he is real, he allowed himself to be written by the author.

Yes, I may be a limited third person narrator, but I was indeed an omnipresent narrator before and now. I just can't hear his thoughts anymore… And also narrate above him, somehow.

"So, if I remember correctly, there's the gate's core, mana's core, contract's core, divine's core, god's core, witches' core and the race's core. If you don't know what a core is, remove the word core and think about the magic system of the world."

"Spirits are inside the race's core, right? … Yeah, I thought so." He said out loud, stayed silent for a moment, and spoke again.

He took a few papers and began writing something. The drawings he was making seemed like words, but the alphabet used was unknown to me. All of the characters looked like stick figures.

"Okay… I knew I should have started with Danganronpa. I shouldn't have been greedy about the replayability of Re:Zero…"

"Expensive… even the non-original cores are expensive. It's only an 11% discount."

He kept blabbering about the expenses.

He also kept taking notes in the strange language.

"Okay, after solving through and throughout extreme math problems, it is more efficient for me to use the original cores..."

He got up from the desk and jumped on the bed, "I'll leave it in the second plan and sleep while it loads! It has been what? Two decades since I slept?"

"I wonder what dreams I'll have~" Unfortunately, as I don't have access to his mind, I cannot describe his dreams…

He closed his eyes and remained silent.

Meanwhile, a lot of information, particles, cells, elements, and concepts were slowly filling the reality.

Time didn't pass, since the concept of time wasn't fully integrated into this reality. But I stayed here for a while without much to do.

And finally, something is about to happen.

"Good morning! Dreams are overrated." The being that had invaded this reality—somehow legally—energetically jumped from out of the blankets, leaving the latter untouched by his presence in this bed.

He touched his face, and his jaw dropped.

"Mana agglomerated on my face. There's too much mana here!"

But he was also excited. "Letting that aside… Look at my Earthling self having magic!" He spread his arms excitedly, but they fell back as he realized his element.

"Damn, I got the darkness attribute."

Though it was darkness, his body now had a massive amount of Od.

"Did I get overpowered to the Re:Zero verse out of nowhere?" He shook his head. "Nope, having a great amount of Od just means I'm like an elf in the generic isekai book."

He sighed, "I'll also have a hatsumaki…"

"'Shamac' will do the job. I'll just release it all at once in another layer."

He walked all the way to the outside of the mansion. As he walked, he saw various little spirits. "What's going on? It's as if the place here has multiplied the natural resources the mansion should have by 11."

He quickly realized what was wrong. He had just directly imported the universe system into this reality, but the only 'matter' or 'planet' in this reality was the manor.

So, while going outside the mansion, he did some swiping movements with his arms in the space in front of him. As he was swiping, the amount of spirits, mana, and such diminished.

He stopped, feeling it was similar to how it should be inside the original Roswaal Manor.

"Now it feels like I'm inside Re:Zero again."

He kept walking towards the entrance of the manor, but what should have been a path to the outside was now a white void.

"Should I go with a gacha type theater, movie theater, a stage, or a cozy living room… Let's go with that."

He snapped his fingers and connected the outside of the main gate. Now, outside the gate leads to a modern house.

Walls painted gray with white lines, the young man didn't really care about the decorations and looks of his creation.

Upon entering the house, there was a clear, wide corridor. At the left, there were 6 doors, each being a restroom; half were for males, and the other half for females.

The right side of the corridor, however, had a single door in the middle of the wall. A sign displayed the word "Template".

At the end of the wide hallway was a spiral staircase leading upwards. Above, there was another wide hallway, but this time, there were no doors. A useless second floor, for now.

The young man stopped at the sign and grabbed it. After grabbing it, he said, "Re:Zero is airing here."

The "template" sign he was holding magically erased its contents and started writing, "⟨Re:Zero⟩ is airing here."

He placed the sign in the same spot, above the door. Then, he took another template sign out of nowhere. He placed one on each side of the doors.

He looked around the wall and took a giant whiteboard from nowhere. This time, he used some of his strength, as he needed to use both hands to move the whiteboard.

He placed the whiteboard at the beginning of the hallway on the right side wall. He took a marker out of nowhere and wrote at the very top, "#$& admin: Community Board."

He threw the marker to the same place from which he had taken it, and it vanished as it reached something. The title glowed, removing the "#$& admin:" prefix. It also made the text bolder and more elaborate, using a different font than the handwritten one he had used.

"Should I make rules?" He smirked and said out loud, "Nah, let them use it however they like. I'll only intervene when freedom of speech is being obstructed, or when actual threats to life are being made."

The whiteboard almost reached the airing room door, stopping when it reached the right side sign.

He entered the airing room and sighed, "Great, it's empty. I had hoped to save some RP with furniture..."

"Let's get started."

He went to the middle of the room and started pointing at places and pinching the air. It was as if he was an architect planning in his mind.

"Let's see, I think I will have enough for 9 people: Subaru, Emilia, Rem, Ram, Beatrice, Otto, Garfiel, Frederica, Roswaal. That's it for now, sadly Petra-chan will have to wait until I have enough RP to bring her."

But before actually doing something, he stopped and said out loud, "Wait, I still have to think about the other people I'll bring. It's not just because I'm poor right now that I won't bring them later. The more people, the more reactions, the more RP's."

"Petra will finish Emilia's camp, Reinhart obviously, Julius, Anastasia, Crusch, Ferri- Felix—Sorry, I went to that universe, so I might slip some nicknames here and there."

He coughed after the parenthesis he made, "Continuing, Priscilla, Felt, Al, and Wilhelm. 19 people. Wow… Am I missing someone? I don't think so…"

He looked at the space and sighed, "An odd number… I guess I'll add a tiny chair for Puck when I add him."

He gestured toward the end of the room. "So, if the high-end screen will be there, I guess the best set for the seats will be five seats per row, two rows per side, one row above, and one below. I'll also do it so it's tilted a little to face the screen."

He clapped his hands and began producing it. First, he made the middle of the room a smooth ramp. To the left, he created five bean bag-like seats, and lowered the floor slightly to ensure an unobstructed view for those behind.

"These seats, which look goofy for a serious theater, are not actually bean bags. They assume the form of what the person sitting prefers. They are like bean bags because that's my preference. But they must know how their seat is first."

He continued by placing the other four, placed five bean bags at the "second-floor" of the left side, and then did the same on the other side.

He turned to the wall opposite the entrance, and this time he didn't pull something out of nowhere; he just pointed, and a floating screen appeared.

But, he began swiping the air, and that screen changed: from a small monitor, to a wall-mounted TV, to a window, to a borderless mirror, to a piece of ice, and then to a normal television.

"Um… If it were just Subaru, I'd take the wall-mounted TV, but since it's Lugunica people… I think I'll take the mirror one, since they'll just call it a mītia."

He swiped the air back to the mirror.

"Is this it? There's nothing much to do now. This reality is pretty much the same as their world, except these two places are the only land on the world."

He sighed and went back outside to the garden. "The first rule I'll have to add is that after falling into the white space, they will be teleported here. I can't have them infinitely falling into the nothingness of the white cube."

"The next thing will be that no harm can be dealt during a reaction session. Afterwards, the freedom of speech should be allowed at all times. An exception to this rule will be interruptions, though they will not always be able to interrupt the other party and prevent them from speaking."

"Seems good." He clapped his hands as he closed the door to the floating house.

It seemed to do nothing, but rules had been implemented in the core of reality. The door closed silently, and he was now at the gates of Roswaal's manor.

Now that everything was done, it was time to put his plan into action. He yawned and extended his finger—You know what, I'm actually getting accustomed to this power. From now on, I'll just say "he spawned" or "he pressed."

He pressed something, and in the next second, he vanished from this layer of the realm.

Following him, he was now at layer 19. The space here was a single dimly lit bedroom. He lay down on the bed and brought a laptop near him. While doing this, he had a grand smile on his face.

The laptop lit up, showing a live wallpaper consisting of a white screen in an old VHS style, with the letters "R" and "M" together in a bold, fancy font.

He straightened his back and placed the laptop on the nearby glass table. He clicked nine times in different places and dragged the touch to a specific location in front of him.

He stayed silent until he said, "Start the time concept at 10am, simulate the day and night system, and also the annoying climate system."

Time now existed, with a system containing 24 hours a day. The artificial sun and stars were also added, along with the weather.

He stayed silent, only creeping a smile at something. He remained like that for several minutes before getting up.

He "sat" in front of the laptop. He was crouching above the chair…

What a weirdo!

He held the v button and spoke, "Hello to everyone inside Rosswal Manor, and you there, in the Forbidden Library. I'd like to request your presence at the… Viewing Building. So I can start answering your questions and objectives for getting out of here."

Before he finished, he added, "I am RM."
