Edward Lancer always thought Daniel wasn't save in the Fenton house. The boy literally had a portal to the Ghost Zone in his basement. Adding to that, Jasmine confirmed her parents do not comply with even the most basic lab safety. Even the school's chemistry classes are better than these actual scientists!

Not to mention, Daniel came into class with so many injuries.

He knows Dashiel bullied Daniel, but Dashiel couldn't even cause some of those injuries. Even Dashiel was surprised by some of the injuries Daniel had.

Adding salt to injury, those injuries got less when Daniel moved with his biological father part time. So he decided to speak with the man. The Fenton's rarely attend parent-teacher talks, even when Jasmine attended, albeit then they were more frequently attending, so he could easily speak just with Mr. Masters.

"Mr. Masters, I better come to the point. I doubt your son is safe at his mothers. The doctors Fenton's don't really apply lab safety, Jasmine conirmed this to me, they build weapons in their basement, Paradise Lost!" said Lancer, getting stressed at the end. He calmed and continued, "I know they are meant to harm ghosts, but I doubt they are safe to humans."

"Well, they are dangerous to us, too. Just in a different way." admitted Masters.

"Well, I got the feeling Mrs. Fenton doesn't acknowledge that." said Lancer. "She was rather unbothered by her son's accident. She only talked about the portal working at the first conference after the accident."

"Well, I would fault her husband for this." replied Masters.

Lancer sighed at the answer. "I know you gave Daniel that green Porsche. I also know Jasmine drove it for the longest time. Mrs. Fenton mentioned she made her kids switch cars, that this was her idea. She seems to make the decisions, so I have to doubt this is on Mr. Fenton."

Vlad remained silent for a while. He always faults Jack. But if Maddie calls the shots, faulting Jack doesn't make sense.

Lancer broke the silence. "Well, Mr. Masters. I've noted Daniel's grades are rising. Oh, and according to Ms. Tetslaff he speaks Russian? I wasn't aware of that."

"Well, Daniel wants to be an astronaut. This requires good grades and to know Russian. As my family originates there, I have no issue teaching him the language." explained Vlad, ignoring that Daniel learns Russian with some ghosts. Albeit he does help him practice. You can't learn a language without actively using it. "I want the best for his education. I offered him to transfer to a private school, but he rejected."

"This is not a surprise. Besides that students hate switching in the middle of the year, he has his friends here. Social links are important for his age group."

"True, Mr. Lancer."
