Here's chapter twenty.

At the Emerald City's square, filled with the people. Dorothy, Miguel, Toto, Judith and Noblessa were in the hot-air balloon which says 'STATE FAIR OMAHA.'

"My friends. I mean, my friends! This is positively the finest exhibition ever to be shown... be that as it may. I, your Wizard, per ardua and altar. am about to embark upon a hazardous and technically unexplainable journey into the outer stratosphere!"

The people of the Emerald City cheered for their 'Wizard'.

"To confer, converse and otherwise hobnob with my brother wizards. And I hear by decree that until what time if any I return, the Scarecrow, by virtue of her highly superior brains shall rule in my stead."

Scarecrow was surprised yet honoured to be Emerald City's queen.

"Assisted by the Tinman by virtue of his magnificent heart and the Lion, by virtue of his courage. Obey them as you do me." Judith announced.

Toto barked as he saw a cat, so he jumped off the balloon, which shocked Dorothy.

"Oh, Toto! Come back! Toto!" Dorothy said before she left the balloon. "Oh, don't go without me. I'll be right back."

"Stop that dog!" Miguel shouted before he left the balloon.

Miguel Scarecrow and Lion run to help Dorothy get Toto back. The ballon started to float as the ropes get loose. Noblessa whimpered as the ropes were getting loose."

"Uh-oh." Judith said before the balloon started floating away. "Hey, wait, they're not in the balloon yet!"

Dorothy and Miguel were shocked to see the balloon flying away.

"Come back! Come back! Don't go without us! Please come back!" Dorothy pleaded.

"I can't come back! I didn't know how to get down on my first time on the balloon!" Judith said before Noblessa waved at the people. "Goodbye, my friends."

The people of the Emerald City waved goodbye to their Wizard before she was flown away from the Emerald City.

Dorothy was shedding tears after the Wizard was gone without her and Miguel.

"Now, we'll never get home." she said with a breaking voice.

"Hey, hey. We'll find a way." Miguel hugged Dorothy.

"Stay with us then, Dorothy." Lion said sadly. "We all love you. We don't want you to go."

"Well, that's very kind of you. But this could never be like Kansas. Auntie Em must have stopped wondering what happened to me by now." Dorothy said.

Then, Tinman saw something. "Look, here's someone who could help you."

There was a bubble, much like Locasta. Miguel and Dorothy were glad to see the Good Witch again. But when the bubble floated down the ground, a different witch appeared. She wore a white crown and dress with a red belt. And she had long blonde hair.

The Emerald City citizens bowed to the witch.

"That's not Locasta." Miguel said. "Who's…"

"It's Glinda, the Good Witch of the South." Tinman said. "She has great powers."

Glinda walked to Dorothy, Miguel and their friends.

"Hello, Dorothy, Miguel and Toto." she said. "Locasta has told me much about you."

"Miss Glinda, can you help us get back home to Kansas?" Dorothy asked.

"You don't need to be helped any longer. You've always had the power to go back to Kansas." Glinda said.

"I have?" Dorothy was surprised.

The group were stunned to hear Glinda saying that.

Glinda (sings):

"You think you're lost but that's not true"

"You simply lived a dream or two"

Toto was listening. Dorothy was amazed with what Glinda was saying.

"You travelled all this way to find"

"You never left your home behind"

Miguel smiled at Glinda encouraging.

"Home is a place in your heart"

"Every journey leads you back"

"To where you start close your eyes"

"It's very easy"

"You'll find that you're already home"

Glinda waved her hand to the air, making the magic from her hand.

"We have to finish to begin"

"We have to lose before we win"

"And soon we'll see it isn't far"

Glinda placed her hand on Dorothy's shoulder.

"From where we were to where we are"

"Home is a place in your heart"

"Every journey leads you back"

"To where you start"

"Close your eyes it's very easy"

"You'll find that you're already home"

Dorothy and Miguel shed their tears in Glinda's comfort about home.

"You mean, I could have learned it all myself?" Dorothy asked.

"Uh-huh." Glinda answered.

"But that's so easy! I should've thought for you." Scarecrow said.

"I should've felt it in my heart." Tinman said.

"I'm afraid I agree." Lion said.

"No, she had to find it out for herself." Glinda said. "The ruby slippers have greater powers. They will take home anytime."

"Oh, Toto, too?" Dorothy asked.

"Toto, too." Glinda said.

"Even me?" Miguel asked.

"Of course, my friend." Glinda said.

"Oh, dear. That's too wonderful to be true!" Dorothy said before she frowned as she turned to her friends. "Oh, it's... It's gonna be so hard to say goodbye. I love you all, too."

"Yeah. Goodbye, Tinman." Miguel hugged Tinman who was crying.

"Oh, don't cry. You'll rust so dreadfully. Here. Here's your oilcan." Dorothy gave Tinman the oilcan and kissed him. "Goodbye."

"Now, I know I've got a heart, because it's breaking." Tinman said.

Miguel and Dorothy hugged Lion who was shedding a tear.

"Goodbye, Lion. I know it isn't right but I'm gonna miss the way you used to holler for help before you found your courage." Miguel said.

"Well, I never would have found it if it hadn't been for you two guys." Lion said before Toto licked him goodbye. "I'll miss you."

Dorothy hugged Scarecrow who was crying.

"I'll miss you most of all." Dorothy said.

"I'll miss you, too, Dorothy." Scarecrow said.

"I'll miss all of you." Miguel said.

"And we you, Miguel." Tinman said tearfully.

Dorothy and Miguel turned to Glinda.

"We're ready." Dorothy said.

"Now, Miguel, hold on to Dorothy. And Dorothy, close your eyes and tap your heels together three times. And think for yourself there's no place like home." Glinda said.

Dorothy tapped her heels three times.

"There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home."

The magical aura from the ruby slippers surrounded Dorothy, Miguel and Toto, and it morphed into a magical twister. Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion waved goodbye to their friends, and the twister vanished.
