Drinny FF

Chapter 27

After our kiss in the empty corridor, Ginny and I made our way to the Great Hall for breakfast. Both of us were buzzing with adrenaline from the heated moment, exchanging secret glances across the table as we ate. Some students shot us confused looks, especially those from Slytherin and Gryffindor, but neither of us cared.

In between classes, we stole small moments—a brief touch, a smile in the hallway. We avoided spending too much time together in public, but the tension between us kept growing.

Me and Ginny meet for breakfast again, sitting at separate tables but exchanging secretive, meaningful looks. Our interactions are becoming more natural, though the fear of being caught weighed on our minds. We both want more, but neither had said it out loud.

Ginny waits for me by the courtyard after lunch. When I arrived, she pulled me into a secluded spot and kissed me again, playful and teasing. We laugh together, feeling the thrill of sneaking around.

As the day goes on, though, I can feel the weight of what's happening between us. We keep meeting in secret, sharing small moments and kisses, but it still feels undefined. I can't shake the feeling that I need to clarify what this is before someone else tries to ruin it. Ginny notices my silence, but I brush it off, not quite ready to open up.

I catch up with Ginny on our way to breakfast, and this time, we walk closer together, arms occasionally brushing. More students are noticing now—whispers trail behind us as we move through the corridors. I feel the growing pressure from both Slytherin and Gryffindor to explain why we're always together. I'm torn between wanting to protect what we have and making it official.

In the afternoon, me and Ginny meet by the lake, a spot where we can talk without being interrupted. Ginny, always one to push for honesty, teases me about my nervous energy. I finally admit that I want more—that I want her. Ginny listens, smirking as she lets me stumble through my words.

After dinner, I pull Ginny aside near the entrance to the Gryffindor common room. I'm done holding back. Taking a deep breath, I look into her eyes.

Draco: Ginny, I don't want this to be a secret or some game. I want it to be real. Will you be my–

Ginny: Took you long enough.

Ginny grins at me, her eyes bright with excitement and amusement before she kisses me.

We both laugh, the tension finally lifting as we walk hand-in-hand back through the castle, no longer hiding.
