Sora, Donald and Goofy all stood in silence, only hearing the engine of the Republic gunship as it flew through the sky to its destination. Soon Sora felt the ship begin to descend. The pilot told them they had reached the senate building. As soon as the ship had landed the doors opened. Sora exited first. Donald and Goofy followed behind him. The three were yet escorted once more by another two troopers. These ones on the other hand were in blue armour.

"Follow us to your friends." One told them. The two blue troopers began to walk off along the landing pad. Sora, Donald and Goofy could only think to follow.

"Gawsh, I wonder where they're taking us this time." Goofy said. Sora wondered the same thing. Deep down though he only wondered when he would be with Kairi again. These people had led their friends to safety; so they were told. This world seemed safe. Still Sora felt uneasy being here. The blue troopers came to a sliding door that automatically opened for them. They turned left down one corridor splendored with a rich, high class build. Several other species dressed in different high class clothing walked past them as they journeyed deep into the senate building. The blue guards soon stopped at a closed door guarded by a couple of clone troopers. The clone troopers moved aside allowing Sora, Donald and Goofy to enter. Once the three of them had entered the quite large room, the doors were closed behind them. Sora heard the door lock just as he was met with someone hugging him.

"I'm so glad you're alright Sora." Kairi said as she hugged him tight. Sora placed his arms around her to as he looked ahead, seeing all of their friends standing in front of them. Kairi let go of Sora and led him to one of the dark red fur couches. They both sat down. Everyone else either sat on the other identical couches or stood around the room. Sora sat in silence; Kairi by his side. So much had happened and so much more needed to be answered.

"So what happened on the ship Sora?" Leon asked him. Sora looked up him and at everyone in the room. He then went on to tell them everything that had happened and that he once again faced Lord T.E.O, this time armed with a lightsaber. Tifa told him that they saw on the news about this flagship crashing on the runway. Leon began talk off into one of the other rooms. Sora left the couch and followed him. Once he walked over to what seemed like a dining room and shut the door behind him. He wanted to speak with Leon alone.

"What is it Leon? This Lord T.E.O has seemed to have gotten you all concerned." Sora told him. Leon looked back.

"You have a keyblade and you are experienced with it. This guy though. By what you have told us, he seems to be even better. I'm just concerned about you putting yourself in danger. These allies of his too, they seem to be unlike any enemy even I have fought." Leon replied. Sora understood what Leon was getting at. "Even more you bring us along to help and yet we don't even help." Leon added. Sora looked away before realising it was not his idea to bring them along.

"What do you mean? It was the King's idea for you to come along too."

"Oh, right. I should just stick to the point I'm making Sora. Watch yourself." Leon finished. He then walked back out into the main room, leaving Sora standing there. Sora soon returned back to the main room and sat back down with Kairi.

Everyone spoke with one another on different topics in the room for the next half an hour. The sun began to set over to the west and nightfall was getting closer. Everyone left the main room and gathered at the metal long table in the dining room. Once everyone was settled, silver humanoid robots came out of another room adjacent to the dining room carrying plates of different delicacies and placed them in front of each of them. Sora at first did not like the look of the food. It looked mostly like grey slush with bits of meat in it. He took the fork in his right hand and reluctantly tasted it. Kairi; sitting next to Sora saw the disgusted look on his face and laughed.

"How is it?" She asked him. Sora's disgusted face soon changed.

"Actually, it's not that bad." Sora replied. He looked around the table and saw everyone else digging into the food. He did the same. Nobody said much the whole time. They just ate. Sora had been hungry all day, having not eaten since moments just before they entered Coruscant. It was not long before everyone had finished their dinner and returned to the main room where they watched the holoscreen for the rest of the night. Kairi grabbed Sora by the arm and led him away from the couch area. Sora became intrigued in what Kairi's intention was. She led him up a flight of stairs near the closed entrance door. From there she pulled him into a darkened room and closed the door. When she turned the light on, Sora was mesmerised by the futuristic bedroom. He looked at the white sheeted bed where Kairi now sat upon.

"I requested for us to share this room." She told him. She then patted on the bed beside her, signalling for Sora to sit there. His heart was racing. He sat down next to her. He had no idea if it was right to do what he automatically thought to do next. Kairi was one step ahead of him and leaned over and kissed him passionately on the lips.

"The door is locked so we can't be interrupted like we were on the island." She whispered. The two passionately kissed further. Sora was so happy and relaxed. After about ten minutes of kissing, Kairi soon stopped. By the look that Sora saw in her eyes, he could tell she did not want to stop. This left Sora even more confused. He had an amazing girlfriend and still he did not understand girls. Kairi lied back on the bed. Sora just looked down at her laying there. She could tell that he was confused.

"Lie down with me." She said, patting the spot on the bed right behind where Sora sat. He lied down beside her. Kairi turned her head toward him. He did the same. They stared into each other's blue eyes for a few minutes. It was such a romantic moment. For the next few hours they just lied there talking about different topics. Sora looked over at the digital clock on the drawers beside the bed.

"Wow, it's getting late. We'd better get some sleep." He said. Kairi agreed. The two removed their shoes and socks and moved from the side of the bed and under the red sheets. As soon as they had, the lights automatically turned off. Sora and Kairi hugged one another as they fell asleep.

Sora opened his eyes. He got a bit of a fright, not being used to having a pair of arms wrapped around his waist. He was glad to be lying there in bed with Kairi. He slowly moved his body to now face her. Kairi opened her eyes as she felt her arms leave the comfort of Sora's body. Sora felt a little bad that he woke her. She smiled at him.

"Morning you..." She said in a slight whisper. "Did you sleep as well as I did?"

Sora nodded. He rolled back over and looked at the clock. It was about a quarter to seven. Both he and Kairi could hear footsteps outside the bedroom door. Whoever was on the other side tried to open the door. After they realised it was locked, they knocked instead. Sora got out of the bed and walked over to the door and unlocked it. At the same time, the bedroom light automatically turned on, almost blinding him. The door opened up and Riku was standing there.

"I see you two got a good night sleep." He said to them, somewhat implying a double entendre. Sora and Kairi blushed. They were a couple, yet it still took a bit of getting used to for Riku. "We have a big day ahead of us so you'd better get up soon." He told them. He headed down the corridor as Sora closed the bedroom door again. Kairi pushed the covers off and sat at the side of the bed facing Sora.

"Are you going to have a shower first or can I?" Kairi asked him.

"You can get in first." Sora replied courteously. He watched Kairi make her way from the bed to a silver wardrobe on the other side of the room and grab a few pieces of clothing. From there she walked across the room to the adjacent bathroom and closed the door. He listened to the shower turn on as he lied back on the bed. As he lay there he thought back to his last battles upon Grievous' ship. He could not believe someone who seemed to be a hero could kill a man; no matter how evil. Dooku was there on his knees, pleading not to be killed. Anakin could be a problem. Sora's thoughts were interrupted as Kairi opened the bathroom door. She was still garbed in her dressing gown.

"Shower's quite nice." She told him. Sora got off the bed and made his way past Kairi as he entered the bathroom. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before. The room was quite small with a shower at the left end of the completely white coloured metal room. The floor felt cold on his bare feet as he removed his pyjamas and turned the shower on, letting it warm up before getting inside. Sora washed himself in the shower. His thoughts remained on Anakin's actions.

"Should I tell Obi Wan about what really happened? Would I be meddling in what is supposed to happen if I do?" Sora wondered. He was very confused. He had not told anyone about what had occurred on that warship. Sora spent a few more minutes in the shower before he turned it off and stepped out. There was a towel hanging on the nearby bar. He dried himself and redressed into his original clothes. They smelt fresher and cleaner than they were the night before. They must have been cleaned overnight. Sora could not figure out how that was possible. This place was more technologically advanced than his home world. It reminded him a lot of Tron's world. This was no simulation though.

"Sora!" he heard Kairi call out. Sora hurried out of the bathroom, thinking that Kairi was calling him because she was in danger. She was nowhere in the bedroom. Sora rushed into the hallway, heading straight to down to where he heard her calling him again. He found himself back in the lounge room area where he stopped in his tracks. Everyone else looked at him. Standing with the members of the Restoration Committee was a familiar Jedi.

"General Kenobi came to give us an update on the situation." Cid told Sora as he seated himself down in a nearby chair. General Kenobi then spoke.

"Yes. I have come to let you know that we have encountered a few complications installing the hyper drive on your ship. Our people are not familiar with its workings Cid. You will have to come with me once I have finished with my business here." He began. Cid agreed to help any way he could. General Kenobi was not finished there. He continued.

"Sora, the Jedi council will like to see you again ask you some more questions. My padawan Anakin will soon come and take you there. He is on his way now."

Sora looked a little worried. He had one request.

"Donald and Goofy were there too. I would like them to come as well."

"Very well..." General Kenobi replied. He then said goodbye to the group and asked Cid to come with him. Cid obliged and followed General Kenobi out of the penthouse. Sora looked at the floor in front of him as everyone else returned to their own activities. Tifa, Leon and Yuffie all headed into the dining room to have some breakfast. Aerith and Cloud sat together on the nearby couch talking quietly to one another. Sora looked up and saw that Kairi had disappeared.

"She's gone back to the bedroom Sora." Riku said unexpectedly. His gaze was concentrated out the window. "This place is amazing. It's nothing like we have seen." Sora looked back down. He could not get his mind off of Anakin. There was something about him that Sora did not like. Killing a defenceless man on the orders of the chancellor; Anakin knew what he did was wrong at least. Now Sora had to go with him to see the Jedi Council. Should he tell them what Anakin truly did? His thoughts hurt his head. At least Donald and Goofy were coming with him just in case Anakin felt he would need to tie up loose ends. Sora did not ask for Donald and Goofy to come too for protection, just so he had witnesses in case his fears were correct. It was a smart move on his part. Whether it would be necessary or not, only time would tell. The doors of the penthouse opened again. Sora jumped with a quick fright. Anakin entered without any escort. Sora got out of his chair and met Anakin first.

"Sora, I've come to take you to speak to the Jedi council."

Sora nodded before telling Anakin that he had requested for Donald and Goofy to come along too. Sora expected some surprise in Anakin from the change of plans. Instead Anakin just accepted.

"Obi Wan; well General Kenobi as you know him, told me they would be coming to per your request."

"Oh." Sora replied. He did not expect this turn of events. Anakin gestured to Sora, Donald and Goofy to follow him. They all travelled through a few corridors, making their way to the hanger. The four of them were soon stopped in their tracks by a couple of clone troopers.

"General Skywalker, the Chancellor requests your presence in his chambers right now." One of the clone troopers informed Anakin. Anakin looked uncertain.

"I've been ordered to escort Sora and his friends to the Jedi temple. I cannot see him right now." Anakin told them. The clone trooper spent no time processing the situation and replied straight away.

"Sir, he insists that you see him now. It is important."

Anakin looked more uncertain. He soon came to a decision. Through all of this, Sora, Donald and Goofy remained silent. They had interfered more than necessary already. Anakin gave one last order to the clone trooper.

"Escort them to the Jedi temple. Sora, tell the Jedi council where I've gone."

Sora nodded as he watched Anakin travel down the corridor and out of sight. As soon as he was gone, the clone trooper turned to them.

"This way..." He said. Sora, Donald and Goofy followed him down another few corridors before stopping at a familiar door. The door did not open. Sora became a little suspicious. Had they been led into a trap?

"Sora..!"

He turned and saw Kairi, Riku, Cid and their other companions walk up to them.

"What's going on?" Sora asked them.

"We were hoping that you could tell us. Clone troopers came and told us to follow them to the hanger." Cid stated. The lead clone trooper opened the door to the hanger, leading the group to the ship that they had arrived in. Cid told the clone that their ship had not yet been given a strong enough hyper drive.

"It has. The chancellor made arrangements. Your ship has a powerful hyper drive able to travel far from here. We have also placed coordinates of your next destination." The clone told him. Cid looked amazed. He believed that they would be stuck here for longer. Sora was also pleased, but also wondering why the chancellor wanted them gone as soon as possible. Everyone entered the ship and it lifted off into the sky above the large city planet. Sora looked down on the city thinking back to everything he had experienced. Once the ship was in orbit, Cid hit hyperspace and the ship disappeared.
