Scourge and Amy snuggled in bed as they slept soundly asleep. Yes that's right, Scourge the Hedgehog and Amy Rose. What an unlikely pair, right? Scourge was an evil piece of garbage who was a huge jerk and loser, and Amy was the sweetest girl there was, odd right? That's a story for another day though.

Scourge was a big snorer, much to the chagrin of the pinkette, who slept on her side. The green hedgehog drooled alongside the fact he had snored loudly. It was a typical night in the House of Amy Rose… and Scourge the Hedgehog.

Scourge opened his eyes to see he was sleeping soundly on the bed still.

'Huh? Where did Amy go?" He asked himself out loud.

The green hedgehog saw that the pinkette was up and making breakfast.

"Good morning handsome~" Amy greeted him with a smile, a smile so cute that Scourge resisted the urge to hug her as she was cooking.

"Heh. Good morning hot stuff~" He greeted her back. He smiled at her with genuine love in his eyes.

His smile turned to horror though as he saw his wife was fading away.

"Amy?! AMY!" Scourge shrieked. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"

Evil laughter filled the air as Anti Uncle Chuck manifested in front of him. The green hedgehog had eyes the size of dinner plates before he scowled at him. There was only one light blue elderly hedgehog who he had known. The hedgehog who influenced him into doing criminal activity no child should have done at their young tender age. Scourge sighed at that, but he clenched his fist tightly in anger.

"What are you doing here." Scourge replied darkly.

"Just came back to say hi to my favorite nephew." Anti Uncle Chuck replied with a smirk as he looked at him. "Or should I say… my creation."

"Tch. That's old news now, ya old geezer." Scourge said with a sneer. "I don't do evil no more."

"Yes yes, all because of… her." Anti Uncle Chuck replied with a sneer at the end. "It's because of her, you become a shell of your former self."

"Hm? What's that supposed to mean?" Scourge inquired, raising a brow.

"You've become soft." Anti Uncle Chuck spat. "What happened to showing no mercy and destroying everything in sight? Now you sit around and play house."

"What can I say? That's what a good woman does to ya." Scourge replied back with a slight smug grin. "You'd never know though, considering you're dead and probably shriveled up now."

Anti Uncle Chuck growled. "Shut up boy! Remember that I created you! Without me, you would have never even met that harlot!"

Scourge felt a vein pop out of his forehead. A harlot?! "Don't you dare call my wife that." Scourge said angrily.

All his uncle did was chuckle and smirk. Scourge

"Oh please. Is this your wife now?" He replied with an evil grin.

Scourge turned his head and saw that the pinkette was packing up her things.

"Hey Ames, where are we going?" Scourge replied with a smile. "Are we going on vacation?"

"I'm leaving you Scourge." Amy replied with a glare.

"WHAT!" He exclaimed. "WHY?!"

"Let's face it, Scourge. You've gotten too soft." Amy explained. She looked at him with a frown. Scourge looked at her with a mixture of confusion and sadness. Amy was his light; she was the only person who was willing to date and love him unconditionally. Their relationship had ups and downs sure, but it was never to a point she wanted to leave him.

"I'd rather be with someone more manly than you!" Amy sneered, arms folded and her mouth in a scowl. "Someone like Sonic!"

That name echoed in Scourge's mind as the green hedgehog stared at her wide eyed. His heart shattered into two as she began to cruelly laugh. His heart thumped rapidly.

Bump bump. Bump bump.

Scourge looked at his hands, they were full of sweat as he looked at his now ex-wife with fear.

Bump bump. Bump bump.

Scourge looked up to see Amy wed with Sonic. Her smile was so full and wide, as if she was genuinely happy.

"Oh Sonic, you're way better than Scourge could possibly be!" Amy said in a sort of taunting tone.

"Aren't I great, Amy?" Sonic asked and Amy clung onto him. Scourge could only watch in horror as he silently cried, his heartbeat getting louder and louder as he began to breathe rapidly. He stumbled as the tears dropped onto the floor. Scourge feared a moment like this, and he wasn't normally afraid of anything, at least not what he had admitted. He continued to cry.

.

.

.

Until he woke up.

The green hedgehog jolted awake and he was breathing heavily. Frantic, he looked around to see his wife was gone. Scourge panicked.

"No… no please," Scourge said with a slight whimper. His heart was beating rapidly again. There was no way his dream was really real, was it?

"Scourge?" Amy's voice asked out as she was by the door frame wearing a bathrobe.

"AMY!" Scourge exclaimed as he jumped up to hug her.

"What's wrong?" She asked as she hugged him back. She had felt that he was trembling, and his heart had been pounding as she felt his heart close to her chest. Next, she heard him sniffle slightly as they broke away from the hug. Scourge looked at her with tears in his eyes.

"...You're not gonna leave me… are ya?" Scourge began with a heavy sigh. "You're not gonna leave me for… Blue, right?"

"Oh Scourge," Amy began, "Of course not!" She said with a slight giggle towards the end. 'Where did you get that crazy idea from?"

"...I uh, had a little bit of some spooks, that's all," The green hedgehog looked down as he sat down on the bed. Amy followed soon after, caressing his back in the process.

"Do you see this ring?" She started gently, showing her left hand and pointed at her ring finger with her hand. "This is a declaration of my love for you, that will never change," Amy said as she hugged him.

Scourge looked at her wedding ring and then to his. He had a half hearted smile. Then he looked at his nightstand which had a photo of them from their wedding day. The pinkette was holding him and Scourge held her as well. They looked happy with one another.

"...Thanks, Ames." Scourge said with a soft smile as she nuzzled against him.

"Of course, I'll only leave you if you REALLY mess up!" Amy said with a giggle, earning a slight surprised look from Scourge.

"Right…" He replied in a sheepish tone, as they snuggled.
