It's been centuries since Momonga has been in this world.

To suddenly appear in another world, scared Momonga, but after realizing he had his items and his abilities from the game, Yggdrasil, he was relieved. However, considering that he didn't know how powerful the inhabitants of this world were, Momonga decided to lay low, and collect information.

The location he arrived at in the world was an opened ocean, with many small islands. After using Perfect Unknowable he was able to discover that the islands were uninhabitable by humans.

While he wanted to lay low, Momonga needed a safe base of operation, so he used Super Tier Spell: Creation to alter some of the islands, allowing them to fly into the skies, merging into each other, like two drops of water, creating a large landmass.

The large landmass is very broad and able to accommodate a lot of people and creatures.

In Yggdrasil, the Super Tier Spell: Creation allows one to change the terrain around oneself to one's advantage. Back in the game, while Super Tier Spell: Creation was powerful in its own right, there was a limit to what one could do. However if those limits were taken away or at least partially removed, creating a floating landmass is the least of its power.

After merging the islands together, Momonga created pillars around the landmass to help him sustain a barrier, divination and illusion spells that would be active indefinitely, as long as the pillars remain standing.

With the barrier, unless someone was extremely strong, far stronger than him, it was impossible for them to break the barrier.

Divination was a must since no one would be able to find the landmass. If they attempted to divine the location, Momonga would sense something and could counterattack which could perhaps kill the enemy no matter how far away they were.

The purpose of illusions was to hide the barrier and what was behind it.

The pillars were made of the toughest materials he had in his inventory, divine tier material.

Not even a World Enemy could destroy a divine tier item, they could at most damage it. The 'divine' in the name means it possesses a sense of 'immortality'.

If not for a Mercenary Scroll that summoned the God of the Dwarfs, Durvil, it would be impossible to create these pillars.

Using the sixth tier spell Army of Death, Momonga summoned an army of low level undead to terraform the island, which after being covered in a barrair, was akin to its own world. For that reason this place is called the World of Nazarick.

Since he was going to be living on the island indefinitely, Momonga thought he might as well name the place something he loved, and what is better than Nazarick? The place he and his friends created? Nothing!

The undead, led by Elder Liches, would descend from the World of Nazarick to collect trees and animals, making Nazarick come to life.

The undead were also responsible for creating a home for him, which when finished became the Palace of Nazarick. The palace sat on top of a cliff overlooking the entirety of Nazarick.

A large thirty meter tall black wall surrounded the land, with many undead on it. From Death Knight, Liches to Zombies.

In the skies, winged angels observed the lands, with occasional demons and fallen angels appearing amongst them.

In Nazarick, not even a fly could enter without one noticing it.

Even though Nazarick had this amount of protection, Momonga didn't feel it was even close to that of the Tomb, as it didn't have the functions of the guild. Everything must be completed by himself, meaning that the vast amount of gold in his inventory was mostly expended, with the remaining amount for emergencies.

With him summoning the undead, Momonga noticed two problems that were different from the game.

Firstly, without a medium in the form of a corpse, the undead can only stay in the living world for a short amount of time. If they were summoned without a corpse, they could only stay in the living world for a day.

Secondly, just like in the game, one's summons cannot become stronger. However by getting stronger bodies one can summon a stronger version of the undead, or even a new undead. Also, even though the undead cannot become stronger whenever they kill something, the experience for that is transferred to him as the summoner.

This on the surface didn't mean anything as he was already max level but unlike many other players, he possessed many spells that required experience to use, mainly his summoning of High Tier undead.

The biggest advantage that the World of Nazarick had over the Tomb was the unique function that forced people not accepted by Momonga to be forcibly suppressed, making them easier to kill.

That meant attacks, spells, everything. However, there are exceptions, such as if the person is stronger than the World of Nazarick itself or if someone possesses a means that can interfere with this feature.

World of Nazarick is divided into three zones.

The core zone which hosts the Palace of Nazarick had the most security with many high level Mercenary NPCs patrolling the area.

The second zone which surrounds the core zone, which has all the animals and plants collected on the islands. There were also many NPCs present here to prevent the animals from entering the core of the island.

The third zone is where the wall that surrounds the entire island is. In this zone, the largest number of NPCs occupied this location. Not only because it was the furthest from the palace, but also because there was a huge white temple with angels which controlled the teleportation circles of the world.

It's only after all of this that Momonga's preparations finally got completed, and it was after this that Momonga decided he should get some information on the world he is in.

First, he needed to know how much wiggle room he had, by understanding how strong this world is.

Second, if he was weak when compared to this world's inhabitants, what should his first step be?

Third, how to acquire a new source of Yggdrasil coins?

Fourth, should he make a plan to return home?

Momonga sat at his desk and contemplated what to do, before he was interrupted by a knock at his door.

Momonga looked at the door and thought, 'Who could it be? From all the NPCs it's really hard to pinpoint.'

"Enter!"

The doors opened and a Elder Lich dressed in black robes, carrying a similar black wand, entered.

Although it was an Elder Lich, it would be hard to categorize it as such because the undead was even a size larger than Momonga.

On the head of the undead, two small horns grow, which are pitch black in color.

The undead had a bulky body with two black flames floating on either side of his shoulders, showing he was a mage. Unlike the red points inside Momonga's eyes, this undead had two black flames.

The Elder Lich floated in front of Momongas' desk before bowing respectfully, "Lord Momonga, forgive my intrusion but I have news to report." The undead's voice projected awe and pious feelings, akin a monk to their god.

Momonga after centuries of being in this world realized that his summons viewed him as a God, no, a Supreme Being. Anything he said would be undoubtedly a fact. If he said black was white it would be so.

Even though they cannot betray him as he was their summoner, Momonga decided to act like a proper leader. Even if it takes a lot of mental energy and practice to accomplish.

As to why they treat him as such, Momonga assumes it's because of his title of being the King of Death.

A grand regal voice befitting a king responded, "Report what you have found."

"Yes! Lord Momonga. My Lord, The Mirror of Remote Viewing had found two things. First, we have discovered a ship moving at decent speed, traveling beneath Nazarick as we speak. It should take around fifteen minutes before they reach outside the range of Nazarick influence."

Momonga paced back and forth before asking, "What creature is on that ship? Humans, demons or something else? Also were you discovered? Were you able to gauge the strength of the individuals on the ship?"

"The answer is no my Lord. With the amount of precaution we have taken, I'm afraid not even a sensory type being of your level would find us. However, because of the fear that they might possess power above us, we fail to gauge the strength of people on the ship."

After being in this world, Momonga learned that this world was identical to his from a hundred years in the past. But in this world, there were individuals who possessed superpowers, mutations etc.

Even though he had been observing this world for over two hundred years, he still didn't know the full strength of this world.

If not because his life belongs to more than himself, he would have long left to adventure in this world.

What can he find? What treasures are there?

Momonga nodded, " It's a pity we couldn't gain any new source of information but remaining hidden for now is the best course of action. Mm, you said you have two pieces of news, so what's the other?"

"My Lord, we have recently noticed that humans have moved into the islands beneath Nazarick, living a tribal lifestyle. They are very weak, a single Death Knight could kill them all. However, that's not the reason I brought this news to your attention, it's because the First Princess has created an island religion which has begun to spread amongst the humans."

"SHE WHAT?!" Momonga rage flared up, making the room a terrifying place to be. All light disappeared, the air seemed to warp, and the souls of the dead echoed, making it seem like hell!

The Elder Lich, which is not able to feel fear or emotion for that matter, shivered and trembled unsteadily.

Feeling his anger being suppressed, Momonga began to think about why his daughter would do such a thing and what benefits it could bring before signing.

There were a lot of benefits, a native source of manpower, a means to get in contact with the outside world. The biggest benefit is that we can make our actions justified if it's for the benefits of the islanders.

The cons were large as well, the biggest being a more notable target.

If there were gods in this world, someone occupying a group of people would become enemy number one. Which he didn't dare to think about!

Thinking about it, since it has already happened, it would be retarded to stop now, especially since it was unknown if he could do that. However precautionary actions must be taken.

Looking at the Elder Lich, Momonga asks,"How many Mirrors of Remote Viewing do we have?"

"My Lord we have fourteen Mirrors of Remote Viewing. However only you, Lord Grim, the First Princess, and myself are able to operate them."

Calculating roughly, it was enough. Each Mirror of Remote Viewing can be used to monitor a location. The more locations under our control or needed to be observed can have someone assigned to that. Even if this amount is not enough, with a Blacksmith like the God of Dwarfs Durvil, we could make more.

"Good. I want you to give a mirror to angels in the temple, and one to the leaders of the third zone undead. I also want you to train an undead to be responsible for observing the scenes of these islands. They are required to write down everything of importance so it can be reviewed later. As for the rest of the Mirrors, leave them be."

"It shall be down my Lord." The Elder Lich bow and move to leave the room before Momonga asks a question.

"What's your name?" Momonga realizes this undead is very weird. Not only does he look different from the typical Elder Lich, he also seems more intelligent and possesses an air of dignity around him. Even if he is bowing, it didn't seem to diminish his composure but instead made him look grand.

If not for the fact that he could sense that it was one of his Elder Liches, Momonga would have killed it in fear it was an outsider.

Pausing for a minute the Elder Lich spoke, "My Lord, I'm but a simple undead name is not required. However, if I must name myself, I would pick the name Aidoneus."

'Aidoneus, isn't that the name of Hades? The God of the Dead? He couldn't be the God of the Dead right? No that's impossible, why would I be able to summon Hades? Maybe my summoning will change? Or maybe he was just that special?'

"I hope you can live up to this name and continue to serve me well."

"Yes, my Lord."
