About 25 minutes earlier, Hinamori is at the SWA. "Okey-dokey, this is anti-Aizen plan number..." Yachiru announced before asking how many been abandoned.

"27." Nanao told her in a flat tone.

"Oh yeah, thanks, Fuku-kaichō." Yachiru replied, and handed out several drawings done in crayon. They're all of several giant pairs of glasses surrounding Aizen and the other two. "This time, we wait for those three stupid meanies to return, then we put on fake glasses." She said while holding one of Hinamori's cookies over her face. "That'll make squints and chirpy(1) think Kyōka Shegetshoe turned us all into Aizen, so they won't know which of him is which. That's when we beat 'em up, cause it's so what Dango and Ruki-Ruki would have wanted."

The rest of them, especially the very-not-dead Hinamori, gawk at her before sighing. "Atleast it's better than Plan 9." Matsumoto's stand-in admits. Plan 9 being where Koma-Koma was to have stepped on a pile of persimmons infront of Squints, who would be too busy crying to fight.

"What else is there?" Suì-Fēng asked.

"Shihōin-san passed a message from Urahara Kisuke to Unohana-taichō and I that Inoue-san will be arriving in the next few weeks, so how about a welcome party." Isane suggested.

Hinamori, who had yet to meet Inoue, or any of Ichigo's friends, sweatdrops after noticing that Isane and everybody but Nemu and Rukia's stand-in seemed to not be enjoying that news.

"I suggest not doing so, or anything else for that matter, at my estate." Kuchiki-Taichō advised, having been at the second door the whole time. "But that being unlikely... Hinamori-Fukutaichō and Ise-Fukutaichō, you're both to report to the Hachiban-tai immediately."

The two arrive at Kyōraku's district 8 minutes later, where he, Pendleton, and three of Pendleton's men are waiting. "Ise Nanao."/"Hinamori Momo."/"Reporting as ordered." The two women said.

"Aw, you don't to be like that, Nanao-chan, after all we've been through." Shunsui replied, only for Nanao to brush him off.

Following that, Pendleton spoke up. "Hinamori Momo, now that you've been declared physically fit enough to return to active duty, Yamamoto-Sōtaichō has ordered me to ensure you get back into fighting shape." He told her, and motioned to Inose, Kanō, and Aida. "Therefore, you'll resume practicing zankensoki with all three of them."

"Simultaneously?" Nanao asked him, noting that only Aida appeared to share her thoughts on this, but is further stunned when Hinamori accepts.

"You needn't be concerned about me." She assured her. "Yamada-san's been informing me of how Hitsugaya-kun's mission has been going."

After 17 minutes to prepare, the bout is started. "Saegiru, Zenshin Higai." Inose says first, which turns his Zanpakuto into the upper half of a vaugely humanoid stone panel.

"Neriaruku Gyakuryūkinasai, Umimatagi." Aida says afterwards, his shikai being a boomerang made of thin gold and steel rods that's 5 feet long, and has 2 curved spikes on the tips.

Hinamori glances between the pair. She's not just outnumbered, she's only sparred with Aida, who's one of Hitsugaya-kun's men, while Inose was transferred in from the Ichiban-tai.

She then looks at Kanō. He's the shorter than the other two, and from the Yonban-tai, making her wonder why he'd be taking part in this.

After activating her Shikai, she conjures a fireball and sends it towards Aida, only for Inose's shikai to detach parts resembling arms that clap the flame into non-existence. But they see that she anticipated that kind of formation, and charges at Aida as one of the arms is sent to intercept her. "Bakudō no rokujusan, Hyapporanken." She says, delaying it long enough for her to get close.

"Hinamori-chan sure is holding her own down there, considering she's been out of practice for so long, Byu-kun." Shunsui tells Buford while the Fukutaichō and Rokuseki's blades are crossed.

"She may have seen through that, but they're just getting started." Buford replies, and both watch a yellow glow emanates from half of the shikai's front edge. At this point, Hinamori narrowly dodges him swiping at her, resulting in her kicking him in the shin. "T-that does it... Kanō!"

The last sparring partner now enters the fray. "Fūjikomu, Iwa Kangoku." He says, and his Zanpakuto becomes an orange Tengu fan with six feathers.

She watches Aida shunpo over to switch with Inose as Kanō plucks one feather, which vanishes. This strangely causes a shadow over her, and she looks up to find a stone pillar falling, but she sends it off-course with a fireball. "Your coordination's better than i thought it would be, Kanō-san."

"Gee, thanks, Fukutaichō. I'd keep moving, if i were you." He replies, and sends another two pillars while she's jumping over Zenshin Higai's "head".

"Keep moving?" She thought as she realized too late that, after three more pillars landed, their goal was to create a hexagonal ring that was further sealed by reiatsu barriers between and over the pillars, but because one of them didn't land correctly, a gap was left.

Kanō cursed and told Inose to send his shikai to keep her from leaving, but Hinamori pointed at the largest of the trio. "Bakudō no ichi, Sai." She said, and after hopping over him to simply walk out of the structure, Nanao declared the match to be over.

Over in Karakura Town, Thao, Tatsuki, and Kaoru are at the Unagiya residence where Kanonji drops them off. "Once again, misshon kompureto!" He says as the three exit the gaudy looking limo.

"Thanks for the ride, Kanonji-san. Bwahahahaa!" Kaoru says, with his hands crossed over his chest as the limo drives off.

They then hear a window slam shut above them, followed by a woman wearing a white shirt with violet sleeves, black pants, and a brown hat with goggles stepping out a moment later. "Haven't i told you a million times not to wander off like that!" She yells, half ready to smack his head off before picking him up and looking at the two teens. "You must be the hi...highschoolers that the police mentioned, thank...you so much for...watching my little boy."

"You don't know the half of it, ma'am." Tatsuki tells her as Thao glances down and to the side.

"No... i mean it. After what happened to my husband, i wouldn't know what I'd do if i lost Kaoru, too." She replies, and offers them a spare room.

"I, uh... I'll pass, thanks-or maybe not!" Thao says, but is dragged inside by Tatsuki.

Following the meal Ikumi made, the two teens are driven back to the Arisawa house, and after letting her parents know why they're late, she forces Thao into her room. "Spill it."

"I beg your pard-" She starts to ask, only to leap back as Tatsuki swings a fist at her.

"That's what i meant right there. I can count the number of people who can dodge that on one hand, and until recently, only one of them ran around with a black kimono and a sword as big as he is; now just tell me who the f-"

"This conversation is over, Arisawa Tatsuki." Thao interrupts, only for a hole to be made in the wall she's backed up against.

"It's over when i say it is, you bitch!" Tatsuki yells, too pissed off to notice Thao's lack of fear, then proves it by having her know that for half a year, she and Orihime have been attacked by weird monsters that suddenly are starting to look human. "Two nights ago, i saw you leave your body behind to fight another with blue hair, but when you let him get away, he almost killed Ichigo and Kuchiki-san... if you don't 'fess up, I'll smash your head to a pulp!" She tells her as she gives off tears of frustration.

"Tatsuki! I'm not sure what you're babbling about, but you stop talking like that in my house!" Her dad demands as her mom is watching, only for Thao to approach them and set off a device that makes them fall down.

"W-what the hell, you freaks have guns too?!"

Knowing that she's technically failed the secondary objective from Suì-Fēng-Taichō, Thao showed the tool to her. "Your parents are fine. All i did was erase their memory of the last ten minutes with a standard issue Kikanshinki."

"Ki-what?" Tatsuki asked next, feeling as though she'd seen the device used before while resisting the urge to faint. "Who or what are you?"

"I'm still Dang Thao, but also... a shinigami."

Inose's Shikai: Hinder, Bane of progress. Inspired by the Face Tōjū of filler episode 265, which itself was based on the mythical Nurikabe, and the more recent Prospect Monoliths from an alleged CE3 that happened in 1977.

Aida's Shikai: March against the tide, Sea hunter. The pre-Muramasa version of the Tōjū from filler episode 258.

Kanō's Shikai: Entrap, Stone prison. Made with the help of a Reddit User.
