Sasuke slid his hand down his face in frustration and exhaustion.

They're being so loud.

Why was he here instead of Itachi again? Ah yes, it was because he was the Alpha of the first divisional pack.

With his infamous stoic expression, he observed the creatures that were sitted before him as they continued chattering.

"The demons are making progress with every step they take against us and we are sitted here, chatting like old friends." One Lycan lord spoke up.

"I agree." Another said. "Even the vampires are on their side now."

A vein popped off on Sasuke's temple. How...

"How did the demons manage to win them over? They are already immortal. What could they possibly want in exchange?"

"I'm pretty sure it's something of value."

"Soon a war will break out and we'll be at their disposal. We need intel, people!"

Isekai.

The otherworld where creatures lived and thrived, each in their own territories. They lived in peace in their own ways but they did not really get along with one another.

A long time ago, a group of bored vampires decided to propose a war against the lycans in an attempt to steal a part of their land.

The part of Isekai where the lycans live, Raikanrando, is divided into four points, each possessing large acres of land.

The southern part was where the Supreme Alpha and Luna lived, in their castle, watching over the town of the Lycans.

The northern part was filled with mainly werewolves. Lycans were above werewolves, in abilities and immortality, so they barely associated with them.

Sasuke's brother governed the western part as the Lord over the people there, him with his team of warriors.

The eastern part was Sasuke's dwelling place and where he built his army, for there were no civilians here. It was also where he was currently having this meeting with the leaders and elders of the other creatures.

The time the vampires waged war against the lycans, and they lost, many thought that that would be the last of it, but it wasn't the case. The vampires waged another war after few years and the Lycans came out victorious, each and every time, and that's how a feud continued for years.

But the vampires weren't the only enemies the Lycans had. The sirens were also against them but they were barely a giant heap before the lycans. They were like specks of dust in their sight. The sirens were dangerous, yes, but they were nothing in the face of those proud beasts, especially when they had the royal blood on their team who were practically immune to their dangerous melodies.

Then, there were the demons.

Just two years ago, they had appeared before all the creatures, vowing to take over the world they live in. It was a dangerous vow, and to underestimate it was suicidal, especially when they had Lucifer as their lord and the other deadly sins.

They were enemies; the demons and the lycans, and after the vow two years ago, they seem to be making their move now.

The dragons, centaurs, gorgons and some other creatures had decided to team up with the lycans so as to defeat the demons and the creatures from hell who had made an alliance with the vampires, sirens and some other creatures.

Right now, Isekai was divided into two and a great war was impending.

The meeting was held at a tall and dark looking building, in a room with astonishing high walls. The table they were sitted at was lengthy and spacious enough to fit the leaders that came. Their escorts stood afar off behind them, watching with subtle eyes.

"I say we kill one group of vampires to reduce their popularity." An elderly lycan named Danzo, suggested.

Someone stood up and banged his hands unto the dark table. "We can't just go around killing the creatures without any plan. What is wrong with you?!"

Sasuke shot his eyes up to look at his spiky blonde Beta, wondering why he was reacting this way. He also found Danzo distasteful but he was taking this personal.

"Then how do you purpose we stop those measly imbeciles?" Danzo asked gently.

"With plans, intel, inform..."

"..I don't see you coming up with any."

"Oh, you want me to come up with something?" The Beta started moving. "I'll come up with something!"

Sasuke tapped a light finger unto the table and everywhere went quiet immediately.

He's had it.

"Alpha Ras", his voice came out low and cold, "what do you have on the Eastern part of Isekai?"

The said man cleared his throat and replied calmly. "The people there declined our offer. It seems like Leviathan has made his mark. They were pretty wild too." He scoffed, adjusting on his seat. "Almost made me bleed."

"I see."

"They did say something though."

Everyone looked at him expectantly.

He smirked. "That they'd never try to beat me up ever again."

Sasuke's Beta chuckled as everyone sighed.

Sasuke grunted. "I meant intel, Alpha Ras, not your series of victories every now and then."

Alpha Ras bit back a remark as he leaned back into his chair and stared at Sasuke for a long period of time than necessary.

"Alpha Sasuke," a shape shifting female dragon called, looking at him fiercely, "what is your take on this?"

He glared back with the same intensity. He never liked this one.

"Lady Tsunade, I believe you are yet to tell us of your observation of Central Isekai and what you have found." He would answer, but he greatly found distaste in the tone she was using against him, as if she was questioning his abilities and position. Lycans had great pride.

But dragons also had pride. "Oh, so you're cornering us, huh? Yes, we live in Central Isekai and yes, we've encountered the seven deadly sins but believe me, we have more information on this matter and I'd rather hear about yours before I state ours, because...where are we gathered? Ah yes, in your territory."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her. Oh how he disliked dragons...this one in particular.

The truth was, even though the creatures had come to fight the impending war together, they had zero trust toward each other. But the lycans and dragons had more issues on that topic.

They not only distrusted each other, they also held great dislike and irritation towards one another.

Somehow what happened in the past between their two leaders had caused something.

The silence that flowed in the room, with the intense atmosphere between the Alpha and the dragon leader was deadly.

If this went on any further, it could cause a serious rift in the alliance. Sasuke's Gamma decided to stop that from happening as he stood up.

"If it pleases the Lords and the Ladies and the Alphas at this table, I'll start by courting this weird atmosphere out and hoping we really begin this meeting." He said in his usual lackadaisical tone.

Sasuke averted his gaze arrogantly and placed his fingers, interlocked infront of his nose, as he began:

"As we all know, the enemy side is progressing with every step they take. They have taken over the third part of Isekai and the people there. It shows us that we have no time for dilly dallies and playing around. We might not know when the great war will start but we know it will, sooner than later."

"We have steadied lycans who are willing to die in the war. The other Alphas have also been preparing in their quaters. We're still expecting news from one." He glared at Ras, who gave him a small smile. "The sirens and the vampires are still quiet, which means they're planning something we don't know about."

"Which is why we're here, no?" A centaur said carefully.

Sasuke's Gamma, who had his black hair tied into a spiky bun, looked at him for permission to take it from there, and when he saw the slight nod he gave, he answered the centaur.

"Affirmative. We would also like to thank the leaders for effectively anticipating in giving us information on their findings and discharging their own armies to join the war with us, even though it's all our lives that is at stake here."

"Let us hear that from him." The dragon lady pointed to Sasuke, who downright ignored her.

"I believe I am doing that on behalf of us all already." The Gamma countered firmly, his fatigue and irritation growing into displeasure. Everything's such a drag.

Sasuke took over. "Based on our intel, the Pheonix is yet to join alliance with the enemy team. Gaining the only firebird that's left in existence will act as a great advantage for us. Alpha Ras has decided to try and sport it."

The said Alpha nodded his head in pleasure, murmuring something like- try and sport it? I won't even try at all.

Sasuke continued. "But on the more serious note, we still need more of us. Our enemy is great in number, wether you like it or not, My brother, Itachi has a whole multitude of warriors in his versal and I hate to be pessimistic," a dry joke, he didn't really care, "but that is still not enough. Everyone knows each other's weaknesses and will use it during the war." He glanced at his Gamma, who nodded.

"This is actually where the best part comes in. You see, our goddess Selene has always had our backs. She made a way for us to win the war and end it, for good."

"Go on." The dragon lady urged, interested.

"Unsurprisingly, the goddess had foreseen the war and had worried about the outcome. So, she made a prophecy."

There was a pregnant silence. Everyone was still and paying attention.

On the day of the war

When pools of blood blesses the sky and her partner

She will stand soaked and ready

And when her heart stops beating

Peace will reign in Isekai again

Lady Tsunade nodded as the Gamma finished reciting the prophecy. "So, a sacrificial lamb, right?"

"It appears so."

"So, where is this chosen one now?"

"She is not of any of the creatures in Isekai." An elder began. "Her origin is unknown. We have searched throughout Isekai but we've had no leads."

"How did you manage to do that? Searching throughout the land? And how do you know it's her when you see her?"

"'She will stand soaked and ready' This does not imply that she's standing in blood and soaked, and the blood does not mean real blood. It is all the laments and pains in this world and the other."

Gasps filled the room. From the other creatures:

The other world?

What do they mean by the other world?

It's not those creatures who don't have powers and can't shape shift, right?

Wait, are they going to be dragged into this too?

"We can also tell by the mark on her forehead, but it is tricky."

"How so?"

"The mark cannot be seen with the naked eyes. The girl in the prophecy will have to be the one to activate it on her own."

"Wait wait wait wait." Lady Tsunade put out her palms before her. "How would you know she's the one if you can't see the thing on her forehead?"

The elder closed her eyes and smiled. "You do not worry about that. It is my specialty." Then she lowered her gaze, and still smiling softly, she added, "I am happy to work for this, to be honest. The girl is no ordinary one. She is a goddess and she does not know it."

"So, you take care of that. But what about the time of her birth? Will she be born during the time of the war or...?"

"The prophecy hinted that around the time of the war, she will be ready."

"She will be born during the war, Masashi?" The spiky blonde Beta asked, shocked. "Why a baby? That's sick."

"Beta Naruto, please no." Masashi smiled at him. "She will be ready meaning she would have acquired all her abilities and be old enough to project them into healing the world."

"At the expense of her death, right?" Lady Tsunade nodded, her lips forming into a thin line as she looked at Sasuke. "Alpha Sa-su-ke?"

The raven haired Alpha placed a hand down and drummed his fingers on the table.

"The search of the lady in the prophecy, in Isekai is coming to an end and since we haven't found her, we will move on to the other world." his voice was low but you could hear the uncharacteristic charisma in its iciness.

He peered into the dark walls of the room. "The world where the human creatures live."

"So, we're actually going?"

His Beta asked him as he continued to stare out the ceiling-to-floor glass window, which overlooked the warriors in the vicinity.

They were in his mansion. The meeting was over.

His Beta stood behind him, looking at his head while his Gamma stood afar, leaning against a wall near the door with his hands in his pockets.

"This is honestly such a drag." The Gamma mumbled, raising his head and closing his eyes, his Adam's apple visible, even in the dark lounge. "Being a Gamma is a drag. Everything is such a drag. I envy the clouds."

The Beta turned around to face him. "You say that when being a Beta is all hard work."

The Gamma shot him a squinted look. "You didn't say anything in the meeting."

"Well, I almost clobbered Danzo."

The Gamma gritted his teeth as he closed his eyes and raised a fist. "That is not anything."

"Do you see this dude?" He pointed his thumb behind him. "I have to clean his emo butt everyday."

"Are you f..."

"Naruto, Shikamaru." That low voice sounded again in that icy tone.

Sometimes Sasuke wondered why he had chosen these two to be his respective right hands. It had nothing to do with them being his childhood friends, right?

No.

They were more than that and they had potential.

If only Shikamaru could awaken from his lazy stupor and Naruto from all his child's play, they could fight and win over the other Alphas in Raikanrando and be the new ones.

So, having them was more than an advantage for him. For if they became Alphas, he'd have two powerful Alphas he trusted and who were on his side.

But these two had a long way to go for that to ever happen.

Right now, they had to find the girl in the prophecy...if they ever find her.

"We leave tomorrow."
