In an alleyway, two men were looking over a small little girl with dog ears and tail wearing dirty rags, as one of them pushed her to the ground and kicked her

"Filthy animal scum! What do you think you're doing, polluting the air with your existence?" He said as he kicked her in the stomach, a big smile on his face

"Yeah! Someone should punish you, and since your master isn't here, guess it is our duty to do so!" The other man says as he joins in as the two begin to beat the girl relentlessly, both not wanting to miss an opportunity to harass a lone demi-human, much weaker than them and with no owner in sight

"Grrh! Ouch! Stop please! Ouch!" The little dog girl screamed as she had her hands on her head for protection, the two men were so enthralled by the beating they were giving her that they didn't notice loud and heavy footsteps becoming progressively closer until a tall shadow stood among them. The little girl opened her eyes to see if the two men were getting tired of beating her up just to see what she told was a cyclops

"Uhuuuuuuaaaaaahhhh..." A sound reminiscent of a whale crying out in pain came from behind them. As the two men turned around and a shiver went down their spines as they looked at a large man roughly seven feet tall and a seemingly very muscular who wore a full body scuba-diver suit from head to toe that looked old and rusty due to its coloration, with three eye-catching features, a large drill in his left hand that could bust down a wall, a silver shield on his right arm that looked too squeaky clean to belong to him and his helmet visor that glowed a strong yellow light, until it changed to red

"W-what in god's name are you-" the man couldn't finish his question as the hulking figure went and sent its spinning drill hand through his stomach, lifting the man up as his body spun along the drill until it separated into two halves that fell to the ground, blood was splattered all over the scene, as the tall figure cleaned its visor from the blood

"You monster! What did you-" the other man was terrified, the hulking figure reached out its other hand to him as a swarm of wasps came out from it, attacking the man relentlessly, the man screamed as he was stung again and again, not noticing the large figure walk up to him before it pushed him to the ground and placed its foot on his head

"Grrh! So heavy! Take it off... Take it off!" The man pleaded as he felt the weight of the foot being too much on his head, he could feel that the figure was putting more force into it by the seconds slowly

"Arghhhh!" The man's eyes pop out of his skull as his head crumbles under the foot of the big daddy, as he then turned his sights on the little girl, glowing visor turning from red to yellow

She was scared out of her mind, closing her eyes in anticipation for the worst, until she heard the sound of something heavy hitting the ground, opening her eyelids to see Delta knelling down on one leg and reaching out a hand to her, visor now green

"Uhuuuuuu...Little one... Safe?..." He asked in his booming and deep voice, it was scary but his tone carried concern and sympathy through such horrific wailing

"I'm... Thanks" the little girl responded as she shook his hand, he nodded before getting up and starting to walk away, heavy footsteps right along him. The girl looked at him for some time as he went away, bewildered by what happened

[Author's Notes]

Gave Delta the drill hand just because, this was a request from a friend who is a big Bioshock fan. Still debating if I should post a video game problem discussion just like I did for comics.

I think Delta would be the best bioshock protagonist to write a story on, though his reliance on Adam could be a problem since he is a big daddy. Additionally I think the shield would be able to translate what he says but it is implied that big daddy's have very laboured speech due to the extreme mutations they go through, so Delta wouldn't be a very vocal protagonist, letting his actions and body language do the talking
