Season 2- Episode 4: The Day After

It was finally morning. Last night was… Crazy, to put it simply. Donnie disappears without a word, shows up in the lair while looking like he was about to collapse, and initiates a private conversation with Master Splinter. It was all very unlike him. At some point Donnie entered his room and hasn't come out since. He didn't even leave for breakfast! It all made the brothers very anxious. They wanted to try and talk to him but Master Splinter had asked them to give him space. Whatever was wrong, it seems to disturb Donnie very deeply.
"So, what do you think it is?" Leo asked Mikey and Raph, with a concerned expression.
"Whatever happened must have been serious. Donnie never disappeared during a patrol and then came back looking like he had seen a ghost." Raph said in thought as he frowned.
"Maybe he really did see a ghost?!" Mikey said in shock.
"No, Mikey. He didn't really see a ghost." Leo said while shaking his head as Raph rolled his eyes.
"Well, whatever it is, he can't stay in his room forever. He would come out and tell us what made him act like this eventually." Raph said, sighing.
"Hopefully it will be soon." Leo said sadly as the rest of the brothers nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, in Donatello's room, Donnie was still thinking about the events of last night. It's all just crazy. The fact that this is his reality now makes him feel drained. He also saw in the results that he was the only one that the Shredder looked for his information about his DNA in Japan specifically. Now that he thinks about his appearance, it doesn't really surprise him. He can see it a little. When thinking hard enough about it, it's possible to see that he's Japanese.
He was now in a deep problem. The Shredder must know of the results since it was for him to see, and Donatello was too distracted to delete it.
"The mess that we will have to face because of it is inevitable, and I am in the middle of it all, if not the cause of it. Maybe… Talking about it won't be so bad. Someone needs to know about it anyways. It's just going to be hard to talk about it. However, it will surely make our lives harder and messier, because there's no way The Shredder would see the results and it will all stay just as it was." Donatello spoke to himself in thought.
"Well, if anyone needs to know, it's gotta be the leader. I just hope Leo won't take it as hard as I did."
