Season 3- Episode 10- A Much Needed Conversation
—-
Raph and Leo kept bickering, as Master Splinter and Mikey tried to calm them down. April watched from the sidelines, sitting beside Casey, who was still unconscious.
Donatello stood beside his brothers silently as he took in the situation. Here and there he and Karai would accidentally share glances, causing him to look away shyly. She, however, did not avert her gaze. Donnie could swear that he felt like she wanted to tell him something. Little did he know that rather than simply 'say' something, she wanted to actively shake him until he sees the truth. Her truth is that he, as the Shredder's child, needs to go back to be by his father and sister's side.
Karai had thought that she would feel guilty by tricking Leo to get her to their lair- and to her brother. However, she didn't feel any guilt or regret. Jealousy had immediately consumed her as she saw the brothers together. Karai had never thought about wanting a sibling. But now that she knows that she has one, she actually desires it.

Donnie hesitantly walked over to April, looked over Casey, and then sat beside her as they whispered to each other.
Seeing the chance that no one will notice her now, Karai put her hand behind her back, whipped out a tracker that she hid from sight, and activated it.
'Forgive me, Donatello. I am simply doing what must be done.' Karai had thought to herself with a tense frown that was directed at the floor.

"What do you mean by 'fine'?! Tigerclaw had beat Casey up into mush! How can you not see that what you did was stupid?!" Raph exclaimed in frustration, trying desperately to make Leo see his errors.
"Raph… Let's just talk about it without yelling. Please." Leo said gently, not willing to get into a fight. He already needs to think about how to get Donnie to get used to Karai, especially given their special connection. He doesn't need more stress at the moment.
Raph was about to say something, until he closed his mouth in thought.
"...Fine." Raph sighed tiredly. He usually never backs down from a fight, but even he thinks that it's not the right time to cause havoc.
"Thanks…" Leo said, sighing tiredly with a small smile.
"Whatever." Raph replied with a frustrated pout.
Master Splinter and Mikey, who stood by their side the entire time, were more than glad that they didn't get into a serious fight. Even if it's simply verbal.
Splinter turned to Karai's direction, causing her to flinch and stare back at him.
"Miwa. Come with me to the dojo." He said simply, with a sense of authority but a mix of gentleness as he walked slowly to the dojo's doors. Karai tried to suppress her hate that was about to appear on her face, knowing that the others could see her. She looked at Leo for a second, as he responded to her silent worries of being alone with Master Splinter with an excited smile.
She sighed tiredly and walked to the dojo.

She entered and closed the dojo's doors behind her.
"Miwa." Splinter called, causing her to look at him.
He walked in her direction holding a picture that she could not yet see.
"My daughter. It is time, since we are reunited, that you will know the story of you and your brother." Splinter said with a gentle smile, as he handed her the photo.
Karai took the photo from his hands and stared at it.
Karai gasped, dropping the photo to the floor as she covered her mouth with her quivering hands. Her eyes could basically pop out of their sockets at this point. In the photo, it was indeed her mother, but the man and the baby that were with her were obviously not Karai and her father.
"It is time for you to know the truth." Splinter had declared, with his dedicated gaze aimed at her.
