Part 9 - La Push Visit

After a while, Bella who was driving this time, she pulled up at the council house in La Push, and they got out of their car after turning off the engine, and in hands, they walked over to the door of the council house, and after she knocked on it, they stepped out of the way, and waiting for someone to answer the door from the inside.

Soon it was opened up and there stood her grand-uncle, Old Quil and he lit up and hugged her then he let the two inside, to surprise the others' of the council Elders today. Dan held her hand, while both stood straighter up before Old Quil, who had given him not only a warm smile but also shook his hand in his own frail hand.

When they were about walk inside, a voice she recognised to be Billy's, said

"Who was it at the door to disturb us, Old Quil?" and with that the two stepped inside, and all of them gasped, while Billy narrowed his eyes in the anger he felt at the moment he saw who it had been at the door, and who else this must been with her.

Josh then stood and said

"Welcome Bella, and this must be Dan, your boyfriend, dear." Bella and Dan shared a look, before she said

"Yes, this is my Dan, my now fiancée."

Many gasped in shock of hearing this, as Dan just wrapped an arm around her waist, and rubbed her side gently, as Old Quil said in gentle, but warm tone to the two;

"I am very happy for you two, dear. All I wanted for you to find the one for yourself, Bella dear."

"Thank you grand-uncle, and Dan is the only one I wanted in my life since Edward left me the way he did, and he saved me. Even dad approved of him to be my husband one day, I just wished that d-dad could have been the one to bring me down the aisle."

At that Old Quil just took her hand in his own and said

"He will always be by your side, even in death, my dear. And Dan, welcome to the family, and welcome to our tribe today."

Dan smiled wryly, before he said in deep baritonal voice that Bella loved so much of him;

"I thank you, Elder Quil, grand-uncle of Bella here. My wife to be."
At that Old Quil like others were smiling, that he knew how to greet and thank them.

"Which tribe are yourself from, Daniel?"

Dan smiled before he said

"I am from the tribe of the Lakotas, that resides in South Dakota. Bella will become one, when we are married in few months time."

Many shocked of his revelation, but also that Bella would become one of them too at their wedding, and few months, why.

Sue who had sat quiet for now, said

"Few months, why?" Bella said

"For we don't want to wait any longer to be married, after he asked my hand, I told him that I wanted to be married on his tribal grounds, and it would be a small wedding, as we don't want too many people around us when we do. But his team-mates now and before are going to be there, aswell few of my friends of course. And who to bring me down the aisle, well if he wants to, it will be Grand-Uncle, since m-my dad can't, but he knew and was happy to let that honour go to Grand-Uncle if he wants to."

"Oh what a honour, sweetheart, and yes, I will be the one to do so. To honour you and Charles."

Bella smiled through tears in her eyes, that Old Quil noticed as he stood up, and brought his hand to her cheek, as he said something in Quileute, that made Bella smile and lean into his hand, as Dan just smiled, as he could understand it as it sounded very alike his own language, and he knew of the words he had said to Bella.

Meanwhile the others were still reeling in shock of everything from finding out about Charlie had been murdered to now this with Bella being engaged to marry this Daniel person by her side today.

After that, the two left them to return to their meeting, and Bella took him down a path, and soon they were at a beach, that Bella told him that it was called the Second Beach, and she showed him around the place, when they came across a bon-fire going on, and she smiled despite she was nervous, for she had seen Jacob there, and he had seen her and this Dan, and it made him from being happy to frown angrily.

Bella rolled her eyes at his look at the two, before she took Dan over, and she gently touched Sam Uley's shoulder, who was busy talking with his Emily and Jared and Paul with their Rachel and Kim, though Bella didn't see yet that Rachell was there with the others yet.

Sam turned to see who had touched him, and he lit up, and lifted Bella up in the air, before letting her back on the ground, and he said

"What brings you here, Bells?" Bella smiled wryly, before she said

"Well, I just were at the council's meeting, for I wanted them to meet my Dan."

"Who is this Dan?" Bella smiled wider, as Dan stepped forward and most gasped of what he looked like, and he in turn wrapped his arm around Bella's waist, as he streched his hand out to Sam, who took it, as Dan said

"I am Daniel "Dan" Hawkseyes, and I am Bella's fiancée."

Most gasped in shock or anger in Jacob's way of hearing this part, Sam looked shocked for a moment, before he said

"Oh you must be that Dan, that Bella would talk about to us others when we asked about who she was seeing, and wow, engaged?"

Bella grinned and said

"We have been dating for the better part of 4 years in person and distantly for past 2 years of those 4 years together, since Edward left me the way he did, and he did work with my dad, but our love grew from what they did but also for our shared love in many things, that is near to our hearts. And he is 1 million times' better than Edward ever was to me. I love my Dan more than anything and anyone else. And he is here with his team from FBI, as his team with the New York team of FBI is working on my da-dad's murder."

At that most gasped as they had not heard it or if they had they had a hard time to think it was true, but hear it was, it was quite a shock to hear now from Bella herself. Sam hugged her again, then a girl by his side, went up and hugged Bella aswell, before she turned to Dan, and said

"I am Emily, Sam's wife to be. Nice to meet you aswell."

Dan grinned as he shook the girl's hand in his own. Paul and Jared then went foward to hug her aswell and greet Dan warm and happily in their own ways. And that was when Bella saw who was by Paul's side, for she squealed out;

"Rach, what are you doing here?" Rachel frowned abit before she put on a neutral face, and said

"I am Paul's girlfriend, Bella." She greeted Dan with some coldness in her voice, that he noticed very well, and frowned like Bella did, as she too heard it on her voice,

"Whats wrong, Rachel?"

"I thought you were dating my baby-brother, Bella."

"What where did you get that from, for I never ever dated your brother, all he was for me was a friend, and only that to and for me. At least that is what I feel about him to be for me, as I have been dating Dan since 4 years now. I would never ever cheat on my Dan. Jacob may have a crush on me, but I never felt the same about him like he clear as day did for me."

Jacob like others were shocked of her words about it all, and Dan just shook his head, before Bella said it is time to go, as most of you most likely won't accept the true fact of things around here, and the two soon left to get back home to his teams there.
