Have you ever noticed how weird it is that trials have become a form of world-wide entertainment. You can thank a certain football player for that one. But seriously, I'm not alone, am I? We all get so caught up into the drama of the situation whether it's murder, theft, sexual assault, or some sort of corporate corruption, we love to see all these sad sacks breakdown and fumble their ways to jail. Or they can get off scot-free if they pay bail.
I mean, look back at yourselves. Don't tell me you didn't get super into a trial lately. You probably made memes about it too. But why is that? Why do we get so much enjoyment with the fates of these people that we even make shows about it? I got the answer. We're all sick bastards. Don't lie to yourselves. You enjoy the suffering of these people, no matter how much of a failure the judicial system is.
After all, you wouldn't be here observing my games if you didn't.
So, keep on watching, and remember to be honest with yourselves.
If you aren't honest with yourself, why even bother?
The actual trial chapter is being worked on, I promise. It's just taking longer than I hoped. I've been caught up with work, doing other writing projects, and getting back into gaming. I got so many games I need to play. I still haven't touched No More Heroes 3, much to my sadness.
But anyway, I promise this trial will be done before the end of the month.
