It always amazes me how people are always so willing to let people walk all over them like doormats. And for what? Just so they can be liked by people with no respect for them? That's just silly. It's even sillier when they hear about those that are just cruel for no reason. Did you know several celebrities have "no eye-contact" rules with their staff? And only some of them have been called out for it. The rest are just open secrets. People are too scared to stand up for themselves.
Self confidence is what is missing from this world. You can't just keep escaping from reality into your little escape fantasies. You got to turn those fantasies into reality. If someone at your job badmouths you, put that punk in their place. Smack them to the ground. If you run into one of those "no eye-contact" celebrities, tell them anyone with a rule like that should just kill themselves. It maybe cruel, possibly even legal depending on where you are, but trust me. Realizing your own self confidence and standing up for yourself is a far better feeling than whatever consequences you may face.

So, I've kinda got writer's block right now. Like, I know what I want to include in this next chapter, but how to get there is a pain. Plus, I'm just distracted with video games right now. Replaying RE4, Doom, and Prototype has been a trip. I just can't focus at this moment. Hopefully, I'll get back to it by the end of the next week. I really hope I finish Chapter 2 by the end of the year.
