You want to know who the most powerful person in the world is? The prime minister? The queen? The president? Wrong! The person with the most power is actually the country leader's security guard. Now, I know what you guys might be saying. "But Bear Man, security guards don't have any political power! All they have are fancy suits, sunglasses, and clear ear pieces. They can't rule a country!" Ah, but that's the trick to this question, my lovely readers. Of course a security guard doesn't have any political authority, but they have one thing. A gun. One quick click, and BOOM! Everything every citizen of that country ever thought or believed in is completely flipped on its head. And if that guard's really good with guns, he could deal with that whole stupid line of succession thing too. The world could be thrown into complete anarchy! Policies and laws thrown out the window! Foreign discussions made useless! Trading, economic stability, public security, ALL GONE! PUPUPUPUP!
Ah, those were good days. Oh, and I should probably read the following. "This post is in no way meant to inspire actually live acts of violence." Yadayadayada. Boring stuff, am I right? But what I can say is this. Don't let some moronic influencer try rub their wealth or fame in your face. Don't let some suit badmouth you at work. Cause at the end of the day, whatever power they think they have is just an illusion the world is going along with. You have the real power. The power to shatter their deluded sense of reality with one swift kick the nuts! Have your security guard moment.

I once again must apologize for how long the story has taken to update. My life has gotten in the way with scheduling issues and appointment push backs to deal with. On top of all that, I'm just trying to plan out how the rest of this chapter will play out. I got a lot of characters I want to get to and arcs I'm upset that really just dropped. Kaede's trauma from being hung being the key one. And it feels like it's too late to go back to it now. Especially since I'm trying to weave Ryoma's arc back in. I'm also upset that, despite how this set up is ripe for different character interactions, I've really separated most the cast from each other. I just realized how fun Ibuki and Ryoma or Miu and Chihiro or even Mondo with Shinji acting more like Kaito. Balancing has been a hassle.

Plus, just seeing the general shift in public opinion on styles of writing. Like how people turned against MCU style quips or Borderlands' wacky humor. Both of which kind of fit in how I've been writing (I haven't even played Borderlands, but I can tell). Whatever the case, I've just kind of been finding other ways to be artistic like drawing or making little drafts on DeviantArt. But enough of that. The next part will be out sometime this upcoming week. See you all soon.
