Author's notes: I've decided to create a new Izuku as Batman and have the route be more traditional in the way to become The Batman, and yes I do intent to introduce the wider DC universe into the story. But the only thing that is different is Gotham doesn't exist, or should I say replaced and relocated to Mutsutafu, Japan.
Chapter #1:A Hero Is Molded Into The Darkness, To Protect The Light
On the rooftops of a nondescript building, there is the Giant among men, The Number One Hero, All Might. In the present, the young and untrained version of the Batman, Izuku Midoriya, weighs 170 lbs or 77.11 kg, and stands at 5 foot 6 inches or 167 cm.
With one instant it'll test the trust of the hero association and the agency under their command, "Can a Quirkless person become a Hero, and what would the Hero Association do if a quirkless hero did a great service for society?" In the mind of All Might, 'Mmm, it seems this young man has done quite a bit of research and has quite a bit of paranoia when it comes to the Heroes Association. What should I say, the truth or lie? The truth, then the truth.' as Izuku watched, All Might process the question.
That was dawned upon him, he could see puffs of smoke wrapping around the Giant man until a plume of smoke ruptures from within to where it reveals the small skinny and less intimidating form of All Might, "Well, so my analyst about the time decoration of when you do hero work for the past five years was right, you are getting weaker and that means your time as a hero is waning." a chuckle came from the mouth of All Might with a fit of cough and blood as he says "With what you said I would be inclined to think that you have an intelligent work but based on the question you asked me some time ago you don't have a cork at all is that correct." all might pull up his shirt to show a grim site a scar on the left side of his abdomen "Freaky, huh, the scar I got five years ago, and no it's not from a toxic chainsaw. But I won't be here telling you all the details of it. This scar was the reason I'm incapable of doing hero work over eight and a half hours."
With some thought Izuku looked at All Might, and decided to tell his story, "My name is Izuku Midoriya, I am the heir of Midoriya Industries. That building right there," pointing at the building with a giant m three stories below the top off center but still in the middle of the city. " As I grew up I looked up to you as a hero that dealt Justice with a smile on his face, and I wanted to become a hero, but then I was declared quirkless."
Flashback (Izuku's POV)
"Sorry kid, it's not going to happen" would have been the words that would destroy my goal to become a hero, but it didn't happen when we came home. My father was there after a long day at work at the hospital, since he didn't want to take on the business side of everything. He chose to be a doctor after hearing what examination was done and hearing the questions. My father became quite mad about the way that the examination happened, so we went back to another hospital that he knows quite well, but he did not work it.
The examination was different, but the results came, and it was the same. I felt crushed a second time, not knowing if I could ever be a Pro Hero with a smile on his face to stop the bad guy and give an ensuring smile to say that the trouble is done well. I guess after my father sees my distraught face, he asked me what I wanted to do for my future and I said I wanted to be a Pro Hero. You said to me a Pro Hero is more than a quirk is the mind and body and the soul of a hero someone that thinks less of themselves and have the desire to protect others. If I have them, then he will go on and help me learn what I need to become a hero a couple of years ago.
I found a journal that my father was writing, and I didn't know that he would not watch me every day for the next month, seeing everything that I did. Or had someone watch me to see everything that I did. I saw that I would run in to stop someone from hurting someone else, not caring about what my body would feel later on. This would show my father that I had to have a heroic spirit, and in doing so he would not sign me up for physical exercises gyms.
First was gymnastics after some weeks I start to watch Heroes at work on the news, he could hear my mutters as I would write down analysis of the heroes. He wrote this in his journal that he believes that I have a higher IQ than a lot of my peers.
So he decided to buy me several high-end college textbooks, and he told me that I will receive more training if I would be able to do all of those textbooks' math science literature physics music and history. After figure out that I do have an abnormal form of IQ about. 250. There he had me study what all the top 10 Heroes does until I found one that seems quite more suited to me than anyone else. His name was Eraserhead that was his hero name I saw how he was able to use the Shadows to Aid him and defeating the criminals and saving others from them, so I studied him more than anyone else.
When I was five my father hired a helper one named Alfred penny worth, Englishman that learn Japanese and for some reason me and him sort of clicked. He was like a second father to me, in some ways I was grateful. After a year of learning gymnastics I continued, but I was put into three of the classes, and they were boxing karate and wrestling. You told me that I should learn how to fight properly. How to punch with great amount of force for those that have great amount of strength have to subdue people with great amount of moveability on the ground and how to kick to keep others away from you.
I took that to heart 2 years, 2 years after that moment tragedy struck, my mother was a very active woman. She would teach me how to sew, how to cook, how to keep my anger in check, how to make me figure out the man that I wanted to be. She helped me with learning a lot about the human psyche, and there was my father to help me with becoming the hero that I wanted to be. A man that would teach me how to perform first aid how to look for sprain or broken limbs ankles rest shoulders and also have redone the shoulder if it was dislocated or popped out.
So that I can keep on going if I needed to, we live on a giant Hill quite a ways from UA but close enough to have a drive there if needed. Throughout my time training, I would watch several. shows but the one thing that I would watch is the superhero show Sparrow, Amanda uses the Shadows and a whip to take down his bad guys as well as criminals.
On the day of March 8th 2148 at the time of 10:47 p.m. my mother and my father Inko and Hisashi Midoriya were murdered in Cold Blood and the killer has yet to be captured. After that day I filed to myself that I would not allow anyone else to feel the pain of loss like I've done when I was younger, so I trained harder learn faster. I did everything that I could, but I still don't believe it's enough. There are still a lot of things that I don't know about myself, but there are a lot of things. That I can learn if I do, so I would have to leave Japan and learn everything that I can out a side of it and return once I believe I learned enough.
Flashback End (Izuku POV)
Third person
Izuku continued, "I wonder if I should try the UA Entrance Exam, and become a registered hero?" Izuku waited with bated breath as he saw all might take out his phone and doing so he discovered that the plastic bottle was not there in any of the pockets, "Oh no, no, no, no, no, Where is it, Where is it." Then a large explosion. Both ran over to see the plume of smoke, as they ran down the stairs to arrive at the site.
Seeing the massive crowds keeping the exit of the alleyway, as they started to gently push the crowd out of the way. For All Might we're able to see how no one is getting in the mess to try their best to save the kid, but only to hear, "We don't have the right quirk, we'll have to wait for someone with the right quirk."
Then Izuku was looking throughout the area to think of a planned, but everything was throughout when he saw the Terror on the explosive blonde teen that is enveloped by the sludge villain Katsuki Bakugou, an old friend turned bully but then stopped after the incident he rushes pass the guideline running towards the villain as the heroes yells out "stop kid," "you'll get yourself killed," "somebody get him," and all might see this but only for him to have a grin as he thinks, "let's see what you have kid."
Izuku world around taking off his backpack and throw it into the face of the sludge villain with the power and speed that he gained through his training, he launches tours Katsuki and grabbed him using all of his might. He launches the blonde, explosive teen out of the clutches of the sludge villain, launching him into death arms without anyone there. The sludge villain could only look at Izuku with great amount of hatred and Malice and a single lunge with the sludge feeling Izuku grab the taser gun that
The crowd, the heroes, and everyone else are standing there in all of what the board done. He didn't use a quirk to stop the sludge villain, he uses a Taser all might in his buff form jumped off from the roof and said. Hahaha, I saw everything that you did young man and I believe that you did young man and I believe that you. Can become a hero" with the people around him, as the police were trying to reach Izuku, but All Might grabs the young man and launches to the walls of UA.
As all my in his skeleton form he walked straight into the halls of your way with young Izuku midoriya as they entered into the principal office of Ultra Academy, "Am I a mouse am I a bear or am I a dog who knows, but I am Nezu, the principal of ultra Academy so Toshinori Yagi, who is that young man that's with you." After a fit of coughing up blood, All Might ask, "Can you call A-1 teacher in here?" Nezu laughed but asked, "Okay, so why should I?" Already called for the teacher, "the young man asked me a question that I don't believe that I have the certainty of a complete answer for myself." Nezu nodded to the reasoning.
After five minutes, The teacher came through with a black jumpsuit, a scarf and shaggy wild hair, and a wide-eyed Izuku whispers with, "Eraserhead" Aizawa Shoto twitch his eye I see you look to his boss as well as a skeleton all might and asked "Why is this kid here, and what is the reason for you to call me here?" all might speak before the principal could say anything, and he said "this young man asked me a question a couple of minutes ago, and I didn't have all the answers that I needed to give him a full and complete answer, so I came here to ask for your help with the said answer of the question." Aizawa stared at the kid and asked with tiredness in his eyes, "What's the question, ask it, so I can go back to my nap!"
Izuku started with determination in his eyes as he spoke, "Eraserhead, The name is Midoriya Izuku, The heir to the Midoriya Industries. My question was - -Can a Quirkless person become a Hero, and what would the Hero Association do if a quirkless hero did a great service for society?- - now I actually want to have the answer of which is more valuable to be a part of the Pro Hero Association and go buy the book or be a vigilante?" Nezu chuckle madly as a shiver ran down everyone's spine as he calmed down and said "Young man, you're asking a true question, should you become a pro hero and help society that way or become a vigilante? Do it that way if you have someone that's capable of hacking, someone that can pass you up some bit of compact know-how. Understanding of quirks, several abilities that are used for a detective to solve cases that other detectives could never have, and a contact to the police force then. I would say I don't see a reason for you to become a pro hero. Is that right, Mr. Eraserhead?"
Words came out from the erasing quirk hero, "If you're really quirkless, and you try to become a hero a Pro Hero the heroes Association will not allow you to become one regardless of your training they hate Quirkless people they see them as weak so the only true way for you to be what people would say a hero is to go through the vigilante route." All Might had to add, "when they found out that my Origins were that I was corkless they immediately dumb down on how I have the strongest quirk in Japan, so a Quirkless Vigilante would be a great thing to see." Nezu looked to the two heroes then to the young man and asked, "Young Midoriya, what is it that you're going to choose to do?"
After some time has gone by, Izuku answered, he said, "You're the principal of UA, Nezu and I would really like it if you can give me a list of subjects and skills that you believe that I should go on, and I should go on. Learn if I choose to go down the vigilante path, and the best places for them to be taught to me and to my knowledge I believe that I will have at least 10 to 12 years to learn and become Adept to them before it will take at least 5 years of practice in the field to become masters of them." Nezu then asked he needed at the moment, "How much is your IQ?" Izuku immediately sees where this is going, so he answers, "So you can make a proper decision on where to go at a certain amount of time to get the most amount of information. So that I can easily get it done in the time of 10 to 12 years. Am I correct and if so then my IQ is 250." with a squirrel from behind the desk, Nezu started to work as Midoriya called his ride.
Then, after a couple of minutes, making the two great heroes one hero of light that tries to hold Society up on a pillar of one. The other hero that reeks of Darkness that has been in the trenches of the Underground have a chill going down their spines. Hearing the clicking of a keyboard and a printer, and five pages of information for vigilante hero work in the future.
After Nezu given Izuku the five-page list of information to go on and learn at strategic places and times. He proceeded to say, If you need anything at all during this time, the number on the bottom of the page is mine if you need more insight on what to learn and what to try to do. I'll be able to figure out what I need to do to help you if anything comes up, and you need more information, don't hesitate to ask." Izuku bowed and thanked the three and left, but before Izuku left fully through the threshold of the door.
He went on and said my grandmother will be very proud of you for what you've done all might, but I believe that you should consider Melissa Shield as the next holder of one for all after all she is at the best place to learn how to use the Quirk properly since there is a healing pod there made by my company." following through with a shut of the door Nezu looked at all might and says "Well, you have it there a descendant of your predecessor said that your predecessor would have been proud and given you a potential successor, so I'm giving you this thing about it 100% And also go there and tell her everything don't leave anything out. Ask her to take a week to think about it and give you an answer the following week."
Izuku is out front waiting for his ride home, looking through the paper of people to get in touch to learn from them till the last line of names caught his eye, Principal Nezu with his phone. He calls the chimera, I've read your list and caught your name with your number. So why is it that you want to teach me?" Nezu on the other side, grinning as he says, I want to help cultivate your problem-solving, lay the foundation of your detective work and help develop the best way for you to learn in mind and body. And I believe I could do that with your IQ within 3 months or so. Also, I'll be taking you on detective work on the ground. How would you say about that?"
A bit of time went by before Izuku replied "I agree when should I come back?" was an immediate answer, "Tomorrow 4:00 p.m. would that be all right with you?" Izuku related what recent things happened, I got done with jiu-jitsu Aikido and Judo a month ago after doing gymnastics boxing karate and wrestling. Now recently I learned how to use makeup properly to enhance my disguises with the ability to act myself out of a paper bag from my butler and guardian, so I believe I am quite open for the remaining 3 months. I'm going to leave Japan and go to I-Island to begin my path, so tomorrow at 4:00 in the afternoon an hour after class I believe I can do that until tomorrow."
After getting the confirmation of what will happen for the next three someone months, he saw his ride ended the phone and got in the car. For the next 11 years Izuku midoriya will change like a man that has never been before many things will happen within his Line Of Reach, and he may or may not become the problem. He will learn several skills that will be crucial for the rest of his life. He will meet friends great enemies and begin his own track within his life going through a path of Darkness, so others can be in the light that is what he agreed upon on that fateful day.,
First he would go to I Island till his time came to an end, he went to the FBI CIA equivalent for Japan intelligence agency the CIR. After that, he traveled to the temples to learn from the monks on Hang-Gliding and Taoism.
There he gained the intention of the League of Shadows or another name that they are called The League of Assassins, there he accepted the invitation to learn from them.
Inside the League of Shadows he would learn ninjutsu tons of fighting techniques several for many of enemies several for enemies with greater amount of power strength and height over you. Many others were those against you that were quite fast and agile. But that's not all, he learned how to use weapons to learn how to defend against them and how to be quite spiritual. With the help of the previous teachings from the monks at the temple to where, he could overcome his fear and use it against others.
After learning what he needed to learn from the League of Shadows, he travels straight to Central City. There he enrolled in the central cities criminal justice course as well as the business course and learn quite a bit of extra talents and skills.
That is where he met an aspiring CSI named Barry Allen, where they bonded on their desire to get Justice on the people that wronged them for Izuku. It was the death of his parents that scarred him for life, that he can't let the memory go and move on from his life. For Barry Allen, it was the loss of his mother and trying to prove his father's innocence.
There he would meet The guardian of Barry Allen, a detective with no children, he took him in because he was friends great friends with Barry Allen's father. When is it good time was up, he gave a phrase to Barry Allen which spoke with sometimes you have to look to the Future to see the past. Only then made the present be true with those parting words easy to go left Central City.
He left, and he traveled to Hollywood to learn how to drive like a stuntman after getting his international driver's license. He would not then learn how to body build properly to not get bulky muscles and lose speed or lose strength and gain speed, he learned from an expert of the body down at one of the gyms in Hollywood. Next he would not travel on the outskirts to learn magic, arcane arts, escape artistry, and sleight of hand Giovanni Zatara.
Lastly he would travel back to Mutsutafu Japan, and join the underground illegal fighting scene to gain some out of Street Experience on fighting to properly understand the way that his body is. Also in the process of making the Cave, and entrance for coming in and out.
