Training Across Time
In this timeline Paragas's growing empire is still intact.
At this time, it only consists of a single solar system, specifically the Juno System.
The planet that was on the farthest from the sun, a large space ship was seen.
In this world, hundreds of soldiers' roam, all wearing Frieza Force armor. And wearing a silver bracelet with a jewel that glowed green.
As they all were having another boring day a space ship appeared in the air.
"Who's that?" One of them asked.
"Probably some natives from one of the planets we raided." The other noted. "Surprise it got into the atmosphere without our surveillance detecting it."
One of them looked up and pressed a button on their scouter.
"Attention!" The scouter connected to the speakers in the area. "Land your vessel and come out slowly, or be shot down!"
They waited as the space ship landed in front of them.
The other soldiers aimed their hands at the ship.
Not too surprised the ship opened and three figures walked out.
It was a silver haired man with a cap with a red ribbon and two R's in front of it.
By his sides was a large pale man with long braided hair and another purple haired man.
"Halt! Identify yourselves!"
The one in the middle rose his hands.
"Whoa there settle down y'all! We're just here on the good doctor's orders!" Android 13 he shouted to the army in front of him.
"Doctor?" One in a commander's armor asked. "What do you mean, who are you?"
13 stepped aside allowing an old looking man with a tall hat to walk out.
Dr. Gero looked around at all the rabble. "Attention! To all denizens of this planet! I welcome you to become a part of something far greater than yourselves or this crumbling empire!" He announced.
The men all looked confused while the commander just pressed his scouter, to understand why this old man was confidently yelling, nothing came up.
"What the-" He looked at the man wondering why he gave no reading, same for the younger one looking. Nothing, except a small one still on the ship.
"All of you, will become, part of something far greater than perfection." Dr. Gero grinned at them and he stepped aside allowing another to come out.
More noise came from the ship.
Until a green insect looking creature had walked out.
The soldiers looked strangely at the creature wondering what alien species this was.
Cell smiled at them all like he can sense their energies, they were small, on his estimations their power levels ranged from only hundreds to thousands.
Poultry to him, but they are goliaths compared to the humans he devoured to reach his Imperfect state.
His tail slammed to the ground in anticipation.
"Enough of this." The commander yelled walking closer. The green jewel in the center of his bracer glowed green indicating he was taking more of Broly's energy.
Now his power level numbered in the hundreds of thousands.
If only that was his natural power level that would make this even better.
The commander walked up to Dr. Gero who still smiled at them.
"You're coming with-" Just then a gloved hand grabbed him before he could touch Dr. Gero.
"What the-!" He yelled as he was unable to escape the younger looking man's grip.
"Hands off the doc." 13 told him.
The commander was confused as his power level should have risen far-
*CRACK!*
13 broke the commander's wrist ignoring the screams. He then tossed him behind him. "Here ya go partner! A fine healthy breakfast."
The commander hit the floor clutching on to his broken wrist and look up to see the creature none could identify.
Cell stomped down on the commander's chest breaking his rib cage.
"Thank you for the meal!" Cell yelled as he stabbed his tail into the body of the commander.
All the soldiers can only watch in horror as their strongest member was undergoing a horrifying fate.
His body was losing mass, he looked wrinkly while the creature's tail seems to grow, like it was liquefying him and drinking him.
Once that was done, the scream stopped and all that was left was the commander's armor and scouter.
Cell just stood there as his yellow Aura appeared and grew.
Dr. Gero stared at Cell with a smirk. His power level had already increased by what it would have taken a city, and that was just one absorption.
The Bio Android could hardly sense energy from him but it was far beyond any human he absorbed.
He felt ecstatic as his energy started to increase more than it had in his relatively short life.
This was going to be a great feast!

On Earth
Towa was in a room along with Dr. Gero who had his arms crossed.
"So, how exactly do we begin increasing Cell's power at the rate you suggested?" He asked still unsure of what this woman's idea could be.
The Demon smirked at him and responded with another question.
"Let me ask you something first." Towa responded. "In the timelines I watched Cell had gained an unreasonable amount of power after absorbing hundreds of thousands of ordinary humans." She remembered how those versions of Cell were no matched for a Kami fused Piccolo, but after absorbing mere thousands of them he had surpassed him. "Now why is that the case, shouldn't he have only gained a power level worth thousands instead, given that a human's power level is usually single digits?"
Dr. Gero was a bit annoyed that she didn't get straight to the point "When Cell absorbs another living being he is merging their cells into his own, leading him not to just gain their power level but amplifying it, it's more than just adding their strength, it is true evolution."
Towa kept her smile. It was as she thought, Cell's absorption is like a forced fusion. She imagined what would happen if a namekien would force a fusion with one another, she cannot even imagine the level of power they'd poses.
"I thought as much, although the begs the question, why did he refrain from absorbing Trunks?" She asked "In every timeline he just killed him without attempting to take his energy."
Dr. Gero glared his eyes and sighed annoyed not at her but the flaw he had made in creating Cell.
"Likely because his body was not ready to absorb a massive amount of energy just yet." He stated. "Cell had to absorb what little humans he could find, by the time he would encounter Trunks, had he tried to absorb him he would have destroyed himself. It was why I added his absorption tail in the first place, I wanted him able to take any energy he can before attempting to absorb 17 and 18."
This was truly fascinating to Towa she had thought it was strange that he didn't absorb Trunks before escaping with his timeline. And when he absorbed that city when he encountered Piccolo, he must have made his body strong enough to withstand absorbing the Namekien.
"Quite the interesting design, doctor." Towa admitted. "Cell really is your ultimate Android."
"Enough of your flattery." Dr. Gero responded stoically. "Now tell me what your plan is to increase Cell's power level to catch up to your version of Trunks."
"It's quite simple Doctor." Towa said to him. "We have seen what happens when Cell absorbs regular humans, now imagine creatures off this planet with power levels that at most rival the Saiyan decades ago when Vegeta first set foot on this planet?"

Cell had knocked out several soldiers carefully without killing them, and then began to pierce his tail in one of them.
The other soldiers watched as one of their own was losing their body mass and the disturbing tail had taken so much of his insides that chunks were being taken into it.
Cell's eyes widened. These power levels, they were a joke. But far above any human he's absorbed. He can feel it, their being merging into his own, no, assimilating.
He had to absorb a dozen humans to feel his power level go up by even a 10th.
But this increase was on a whole different level!
Cell pulled out his tail once only the soldier's armor was left.
The Bio Android felt his power spike by quite a bit, he turned his attention to the rest of the soldiers.
"Come to me." Cell said spreading his arms and walking towards him. "Allow me to give your lives meaning!"
The soldiers all flew off in an attempt to escape.
But before they could 13, 14, and 15 came in front of them.
"Hold your horse's boys, didn't ya hear the dinner bell?" Android 13 asked with a smile. "It's rude to leave your guest."
"Quick!" One of the solders yelled. "Use your gauntlets, we have the numbers! With the power of a Super Saiyan we can win!"
All did so, their gems glowing green indicating that they had activated their bracers taking the energy of Broly as they did in Trunks's timeline.
Their power levels were no match for the Android but they now had the power to become a threat.
Something that would not be allowed.
Dr. Gero's eyes formed small symbols in them.
Just then the bracers on the warriors seemed to stop working.
"W-What?!"
All their power levels shrank, leaving their powers levels to only number in hundreds to thousands.
And completely helpless to the Androids.
"Cell!" Dr. Gero looked to his creation. "It is time, go forth and feed!"
Cell laughed while racing after the power less soldiers, drinking them ony by one.
Empowering him further and further.

On Earth
In a room on a large screen footage of the battle on the faraway planet was taking place.
Towa looked impressed, not just at Cell but at what the doctor was able to do.
"An emp wave." She turned to her partner and asked. "So do all your bodies possess that ability?"
Standing next to her was another Dr Gero, clearly another one of his many bodies.
"Of course." Dr. Gero said. "After my failures" He thought of how 17 and 18 killed him. "I made sure I had something that can always shut down any technology, both what I've made and anything less advanced in space, a more convenient fail safe than a remote control."
He mentally scoffed at himself for that when it can so easily be taken by his more powerful creations.
If only he had taken his time and learned how to properly use his knowledge, his failures had to teach him that.
"Fascinating" Towa grinned at that, wondering if that would work on the Androids in her time.
No, perhaps not, maybe it only works on his specific Androids, maybe if she can try to add some modifications.

Juno System
Android 13, 14, and 15 stood watching as Cell devoured the last of the soldiers.
Dr. Gero crossed his arms staring at Cell, Towa had been right, Cell's power was rising far greater than on earth.
Of course, he had a feeling it would but it never crossed his mind to send Cell into space, he would have but he didn't have the knowledge on where the safest place to take him. Not to mention he wanted him around the Androids so sending him off world would be problematic he had wanted to conquer his world first.
Once Cell had finished his last meal, his aura grew and it seemed to show the ghostly faces of his victims.
According to the data Towa had given him, Dr. Gero can see that from absorbing the hundreds of soldiers on this planet instead of the hundreds of thousands of people his counterpart he absorbed to surpass Piccolo.
"Excellent work Cell." Dr. Gero said grinning. "You only absorbed a few hundred soldiers, now you already rival Android 16." He said with a smirk.
Cell chuckled as he looked into the palm of his hand, yes, already he rivals his counterparts peak imperfect state, and he hasn't even absorbed as many organisms as he had.
"Come Cell, there's still more to feed on, you need to be quick if you want a chance at Broly."
The Bio Android grinned as he flew off where he can sense more of these soldiers.
"I'm on my way." Cell said thinking of the Saiyan who without any special training rivaled his Perfect Form. "Be ready to mine" The Bio Android said as he raced towards more soldiers looking to evacuate the planet. "Broly" He grinned as his tail stung a few other fighters.

'New Planet Vegeta'
The closest planet to the sun was what was originally going to be a fake new Saiyan empire to lure Prince Vegeta. Now it would be the center of Paragas's new empire.
On a large screen there was the green monster that the ruler of this empire had never seen before.
Paragas watched and gripped his chair.
Not only was this monster absorbing his soldiers, but these people or perhaps Androids since their power levels couldn't be detected can shut off his power bracers.
He'll need to have a word with Krang to correct that flaw.
Now what should he do?
If he commands his army to attack them, they will be helpless prey that will make this creature stronger.
If he attempts to stop them, they can shut down his power collector and he'll be food for them.
If he attempts to escape, he will have to move Him without disturbing him.
Clearly there was only one option and maybe he can rebuild.
He looked to the chamber where he had placed Him in an attempt to take his power for himself.
Like in Trunks's timeline Broly was still trapped in the suspension chamber, having his power taken and divided among Paragas's empire.
Paragas pressed a button on his computer.
The chamber brought down what looked like a gold crown with a blue jewel in the center.
It was placed on his head, much easier than he had to do in his sleep.
Paragas walked away and pressed a button on his scouter.
"Krang, we must evacuate, be ready to release Him."
The Saiyan prayed, that this would end with him keeping his son, his power source intact.

Trunks's Timeline
On the lookout Trunks and Lapis were standing side by side.
They watched as their sons sparred with each other.
"Looks like my son is still ahead of yours." Lapis said smirking as Joyaku kicked across his chest.
Trunks turned to his brother-in-law. "For now, you mean, he may surprise you."
Lapis shrugged and looked at the spar.
"Who do you think's winning in the time chamber."
"I'm sure Lazuli is." Trunks said to him. "Especially if she's using Kaioken."
"Wanna bet on who comes out stronger?" He asked with a grin.
Trunks looked at him strangely.
"You want to bet against your own sister?" That sounded like suicide to him.
Lapis shrugged.
"Zangya would kill me if I wasn't rooting for her."
Trunks smirked. "Lazuli would kill you if you rooted against her."
Lapis scoffed.
"Zangya has an Anti-Android technique, I think I'd be better off with my sister trying to kill me than her."
"You're an idiot." Trunks responded to him.
"Yeah, yeah" Lapis said to him while watching his son and nephew spar.

Hyperbolic Time Chamber
Zangya and Lazuli were inside the void room both covered in bruises from the constant sparring.
The Hera giggled looking at Lazuli. "I never thought we'd be in a situation, where you and I would spend so much time together."
"Don't get used to it." Lazuli smirked. "You might not be conscious most of the year."
"Ooh" Zangya smirked.
The two charged at each other and slammed a kick at each other when they met.
Lazuli pulled back her leg and threw a straight punch.
Zangya rose an arm to block the punch and she rose a leg kicking across her face forcing her to turn.
But the Android recovered and tried to chop at her neck.
Only for the Hera ducked under neath and slammed her knee into the Cyborg's stomach, then she flipped and axe kicked down her rival's body.
Lazuli landed on the ground creating an Icey looking crater, due to the room constantly changing its environment from ice to flame.
Zangya waited while floating waiting for her prey.
Just then Lazuli flew up coated in red, meaning she was using Kaioken.
The Hera rose her hand holding purple dagger looking Ki, she swiped her hand unleashing a barrage of her Phsyco Poison.
But with her superior speed Lazuli evaded them and rose behind her.
Zangya tried to form her technique again.
But to her disappointment Lazuli landed a punch to her abdomen, she then threw a palm strike across her jaw and slammed a double kick into her stomach.
This sent the Hera flying back.
Lazuli watched how far she kicked her but stopped her Kaioken.
"Uh oh, did I go too far?" She asked herself not wanting to seriously hurt her.
Zangya managed to catch herself in mid-air and she was holding her stomach in pain.
Lazuli flew over and stopped not far from her.
"Hey, Zangya" Her rival looked in more pain than she meant to. "Are you ok, I'm sorry I only went for double on my Kaioken, I didn't think that-"
"Who told you to stop?"
"Huh?" Lazuli looked at her shaking unable to process what she was saying.
Zangya smirked at her while wiping blood across her chin.
"Come on Lazuli. We're here to train, so do me a favor and act like you still want to kill me." She said to her with confidence.
Lazuli was stunned by that for a moment before grinning herself.
"Fine." She said smiling. "But the same goes for you."
Both women looked at each other ready to push each other to the limit.
"But" Lazuli began. "Are you sure that you don't want to learn Kaioken? Goku managed to teach me and Lapis the steps and we figured it out in the time chamber, I'm sure the same can be said for you."
Zangya had thought of that, she should be able to learn it from what her husband had described. But there was one problem with it.
"Without an infinite energy core, I doubt I can make it as useful as you do." She said smiling. "Don't worry about it, I'm sure that I can find my own way to catch up at some point, remember my base is far stronger than Bojack, or the first time we became Zazuli. So don't worry I'm sure to find my own way to grow."
Lazuli nodded in respect and took her fighting stance with her arms at her sides.
Zangya had taken her own, one hand up her palm facing towards Lazuli and the other just under it.
The two then vanished and appeared all over the void of the time chamber.
Though Zangya was outclassed whenever Lazuli had used Kaioken and was forced to rest before she could continue the constant training.
Even when she tried using Phsyco Poison on her to weaken her she always was able to evade it since she knew how it worked.
Zangya had thought of how Zazuli was able to use her technique with physical attacks with her technique.
She needed to do something like that.
And maybe find a way to do it better.
Either way both of them planned to put their all into the year they have before they leave and allow their spouses to have their turn.

Lapis decided to walk off as his son was gaining the advantage.
"Gonna get some food, let me know when my kid wins."
The half Saiyan just scoffed at him as he watched the spar.
As the fight was nearing it's end with Shorz on the ground and Joyaku now standing.
Someone appeared not far from them.
"Supreme Kai" Trunks said to him.
"Trunks" He said smiling. "Dende sent me your message, I think it will be safe to follow your request."
The half Saiyan smiled hearing that, while they waited for Zangya and Lazuli to finish their training he thought it'd be good to use this day to do some good for his kids.
As well as for himself.
Shorz and Joyaku looked at the Supreme Kai confused as to what they were talking about.

Lapis was walking inside the lookout.
He saw Iolite sitting on a bench with a hand under her chin looking down.
"Iolite?"
The purple haired girl looked up to see Lapis. "Hey uncle" She had a smile on her face.
One that Lapis could tell was fake.
"What's wrong kid?" He asked crossing his arms. "Why are you hanging around here?"
"Nothing, I just wanted time to myself."
Lapis said nothing for a moment before sitting down next to his niece.
"Y'know for as long as I remember when your mom got upset over something she thinks is stupid she tries to be silent, thinking she shouldn't be upset."
Iolite didn't respond to that for a few moments.
"I'm fine" She insisted.
Lapis chuckled. "That's what she would say to." He looked at her annoyed face that resembled both her parents.
"Come on kid, say what's bothering you, it's not gonna do you any good to keep it to yourself."
Iolite knew that he was going to keep bothering her until she said what she could.
"I" She said slowly. "I want to use the hyperbolic time chamber and help stop whatever 21 and Towa are planning."
Lapis didn't look so surprised hearing that.
"I know that I'm not much compared to the rest of you, but I know that if I'm given the chance, I can catch up to you guys, I can help!" She said to him. "Everyone knows that but mom and dad are keeping me out of it without even asking me, it's not fair. I don't want to be protected, I want to help protect everyone, I also want to save uncle 16."
She thought of the largest kind Android. The uncle she grew up with only to lose against the monster Baby. And then she got him back only to lose him to the enemy.
She wanted more than anything to not only stop being useless but to save the people she loves.
The brunette kept a stoic face while looking at her serious look, he knew that's what this was about.
"Look Iolite, you are strong, I mean at your Super Saiyan 2, your even stronger than that freak Daburack, you might be stronger than your mother and I without Kaioken, but your parents want to keep you safe." He explained. "Same goes for Zangya and I, you're going to have your time to shine it's just too dangerous right now."
Iolite looked disappointed hearing that.
"Isn't it always?"
Lapis thought of Baby when she was a little girl. That monster arrived and she was forced to learn that he and her mother were the original Androids that destroyed most of humanity.
"It's not just that." The Cyborg thought of what to say. "Y'know, they took our counterparts, we're likely going to see them again." He thought of the time they had to tell her the identity of the real Androids. "My sister and I don't want you to see us, back in those days."
They were monsters in those times, he was beyond grateful that Trunks had arrived to save his son and nephew before they were killed by their respective parents. He doesn't want to think about what would have happened if he arrived later.
Iolite remembered that day, it was what triggered her first Super Saiyan form.
She felt betrayed and lied to.
"I get it, but you know that I accept that now right?" She asked. "You were never really like that, that was what Dr. Gero had done to you, you weren't really you, the dragon proved that."
Lapis chuckled lightly at that, it didn't bring back the Androids, it brought back the humans that Dr. Ger had kidnapped. Funny to think of that.
"You really are your parent's kid, the anger issues of your mother and the stubbornness of your father." He asked smiling.
"Duh" Iolite said to him smirking.
Lapis really wanted to persuade her not to but, she was a Saiyan and her mother's daughter. Either she gets training or she will find a way to get involved.
"Look kid, in time you're going to one day catch up to us, when you do, you can join us." Lapis said to her. "But right now, please, we want you safe, you will have your time."
Iolite looked down disappointed that she didn't get in on the fight.
Not wanting to see his niece down, Lapis put a hand on her shoulder and smiled.
"Look, cheer up a bit and I'll see if I can find a way to at least let you use the time chamber, alright?" He asked. "Maybe you and me can go in, I bet I can get you as stronger than your dad."
She smiled at her uncle and laughed.
Hearing that she gave him a hug, which he did as well.
Still, she frowned angry that she wasn't a part of the fight, but maybe he was right. Maybe it would be better if she stayed behind.
"Iolite!" An excited voice yelled.
The uncle and niece turned to see Shorz running towards them.
"Come on, dad says he's going to show us something cool!"
Iolite looked strangely at him and turned to Lapis.
He just smiled and shrugged.
Whatever the case she wanted to know.
"Alright, come on." Iolite said smiling as they walked together.
Once they were out they see Trunks talking to the Supreme Kai.
Joyaku was standing at the entrance of the lookout as Iolite walked out.
"Joyaku?" Iolite looked at him. "What's going on?"
"I dunno" He admitted. "Your dad said he wanted you and Shorz to see him."
Iolite looked at her little brother who seemed excited. She doubted this was some special training but seeing him excited she didn't want to show any doubt and smiled back.
"So, it's ok?" Trunks asked the Supreme Kai.
"Of course, we can go immediately." Shin responded with a smile. "It's a reward that you and your family earned long ago."
The half Saiyan smiled in response before turning around to see his kids.
"Hi kids" Trunks greeted his children. "I got something special planned for us." He then looked over Lapis and Joyaku. "You two can come to, if you feel like it." He said it like one of them might not want to.
Lapis found that sentence strange as did his son.
Trunks looked at his son and daughter.
"The Supreme Kai has offered us to go somewhere, to visit some old friends while your mother and Aunt train."
Iolite was confused hearing that.
Shorz and Joyaku tilted their heads wondering where.
"Ok" Iolite began. "Where are going dad."
Trunks smiled as he himself was happy about this.
"We're going to go visit Otherworld."
His kids eyes widened hearing that, both of them gave out priceless looks at what he had said.

17 and 18's timeline
Cell was on the third planet in the Juno System absorbing more and more soldiers.
The Bio Android chuckled as he felt his power level rise further and further.
Dr. Gero scanned his creations power level.
He never thought it would be possible for him without absorbing either 17 or 18.
His power level now surpassed what was shown of the Cell that had gained his Semi Perfect form. Actually, now it rivals that of Vegeta when he had first fought the Android.
"Good Cell." Dr. Gero stated with a smile. "Just the next planet filled with soldiers and your body should grow strong enough to contain Broly, once we deal with his father you should-" He stopped when his eyes glowed. "Wait"
His eyes looked up as he read a power level of immense power.
The other Androids including Cell himself looked up as he sensed something.
"I'm detecting something." Dr. Gero pointed out. "This is, no why it's too early! Towa had said that he would only awake when-!"
Just then what looked like a green comet descended down not far from the rest of them.
Once it impacted a huge earthquake spread across the planet.
Dr. Gero was pushed back, 13 had kept him standing by holding his back.
Cell looked ahead with widened eyes as he crossed his arms.
He's really here early!
Once he put his arms down, he saw a smoke cloud and for the first time since the beginning of this he looked terrified.
Through the smoke he can see a tall silhouette in the smoke.
It was a tall Saiyan with blue hair instead of gold, green eyes, he had what looked like a crown with a glowing gem in the center of it.
Cell growled as he took a few steps back.
This was not according to plan, they thought they had more time before he could absorb him. But they didn't think that he'd arrive now.
But it was too late, he had to face Broly, the Legendary Super saiyan who is said to rival his counterpart's Perfect Form.
Cell wondered if he should call on Towa to teleport them away.

On earth Towa and Dr. Gero were surprised to see Broly arrive this early.
"Well, this is what you wanted Cell." Towa stated. "Let's see if you can overcome this on your own, if not than your unworthy of the power I promised you."
If he dies, she can always go back in time to find another one and correct any errors.
In canon Cell absorbed hundreds of thousands of humans and had gained enough power to overpower Piccolo after it was clear that Piccolo outclassed him by some margin. For those who care about power levels, if he was gaining ordinary humans power level and adding it to his own than he shouldn't have been able to gain that much power.
I found this theory that when Cell absorbs someone it's not just adding its power on to his own, it's more like a fusion. So when he's absorbing ordinary humans he's gaining more than just their power level.
So imagine Cell if instead of cities of ordinary humans he was absorbing Frieza force soldiers, power levels that number in the hundreds and thousands?
We can only guess how strong he would have gotten but take the explanation with a grain of salt, and feel free to let me know if you think what I've done with his strength is acceptable.
But that's if the theory does work, for all I know maybe he just converts their mass into energy and I'm trying to force an explanation. Who knows?
Originally I was just going to have him absorb 17 and 18 and train for the final arc. But that felt too boring, so I decided to do something with a little bit more build up.
Don't worry, there's going to be a max of 4 chapters left before we start the final conflict of the story.
And don't worry, Cell's going to have a massive jump pretty soon after all this, let's just see how he survives Broly first.
If he does, Towa can just go get another one if this one doesn't work out.
Also Trunks and his kids are going to see the old Z-fighters, I hope you guys look forward to that.

shadowwriter01: Like I said I was going to do that but it felt kinda lackluster to me. I want to build up to it and thought this would be more fun, so far it is, hope it will be for you to.
SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: Funny thing is that would fit, this version of Cell lost to Trunks in his timeline. Our Trunks lost to Cell in his have lost to the other so the final fight might be what started this whole story.
