*Voyagers' Cabin*
.
Junior gathers the Valiant Voyagers for a team meeting, sensing the need for some encouragement and unity. "We've been doing great so far, but we can't afford to let our guard down," he begins, his tone serious but supportive. "We need to be ready for anything. Whether it's another physical challenge or something more strategic, we have to work together and play to our strengths."
The team nods in agreement, feeling the weight of the competition. Junior continues, "We all have different skills that make us strong as a group. Kylie, you've got agility and speed. Ax and Clay, you're our powerhouses. Brianna and Katie, your focus should be on staying sharp and not getting rattled. Wolfie, your quick reflexes and instincts will be key. And Mel, your strategic thinking can help us stay ahead. We're in this together."
Kylie grins, her competitive spirit shining through. "I'm ready to crush them, whatever Chris throws at us!" she declares, rallying a cheer from the team.
Meanwhile, Brianna looks uncertain, glancing at Mel. "I'm not so sure about what to expect," she whispers, her nerves evident. Mel offers a small, encouraging smile. "We'll figure it out. We just have to stay positive and keep pushing forward," she replies, though her own uncertainty lingers.
Confessional Junior
"I know our team has what it takes to win, but we can't get too comfortable. I want everyone feeling confident and ready to adapt. We need to be flexible, keep communication strong, and cover each other's weaknesses. That's how we'll win."
.
*Serpents' Cabin*
.
Wade sits plotting with Leon and Dallas, trying to sway them to his side. "We need a plan that's more... underhanded," he suggests, his voice low but confident. "If we can't overpower them, we have to outthink them, and the only way to do that is manipulation"
Dallas looks unsure, shifting his cowboy hat nervously. "I ain't too keen on sneakin' around, Wade," he says, "but if it gets us through the next challenge, I guess I'm in." Leon, meanwhile, shrugs. "Whatever, as long as Brittney is down with the plan"
Brittany, overhearing Wade's scheming, storms over. "Are you kidding me?" she snaps, her eyes blazing. "What we need is to play aggressively and take them out one by one. No more of this sneaky garbage." "Yes I agree with Brittney," Leon mumbles.
Wade rolls his eyes, stepping closer. "And how did that work out last time, Brittany? You're not the only one here who knows how to win."
Confessional-Wade
"I need to remove Brittney, she's got a hold on one of my pawns, the poor fool, thats what you get when you think with the wrong head."
Confessional Zane
"This team is a mess. Wade wants to manipulate, Brittany wants to bulldoze, and I'm stuck in the middle of their power struggle. I need to figure out who I can trust—or if I'm better off going my own way."
End Confessional
.
In another corner of the cabin, Ana and Clara have their own heated discussion. "Wade and Brittany are absolute imbeciles," Clara mutters. "What we need is a strategy that's clever, not reckless. I'm quite fed up with watching them clash like children while we fall further behind."
Ana smirks, arms crossed. "Maybe you're right, but I don't trust you any more than I trust them," she counters. "Still, we could use each other to get ahead."
Clara narrows her eyes but nods slightly. "We don't have to be friends, just allies—for now."
Confessional Ana
"Clara's not wrong about Wade and Brittany. But she's got her own agenda, and I need to make sure I'm ahead when the dust settles."
Confessional Clara
"There's no need for her to be aware. Wade and I have a... mutual understanding, and her involvement would be nothing but a hindrance."
End Confessional
.
Across the cabin, Zane is approached by each group. Wade tries to pull him aside, his tone conspiratorial. "Zane, we could use a strategic thinker like you. Together, we could outmaneuver Brittany and take control."
Before Zane can respond, Brittany interjects, pulling him away. "Zane, forget Wade. We need your strength on our side. Stick with me, and we'll crush them all."
Watching from a distance, Ana smirks, knowing both Wade and Brittany are desperate to recruit Zane. She casually approaches him last. "You don't have to choose between them, Zane. We can make our own moves—quietly."
Confessional Zane
"Everyone wants a piece of me right now, and honestly, I'm not sure who to trust. I'm gonna have to keep my cards close to my chest and see who proves themselves in the next challenge."

*Volleyball Court*
.
Chris gathers the campers around a makeshift volleyball court, which is more like a mud pit with a net. "Campers, welcome to today's challenge: Muddy Volleyball Madness!" he announces with a mischievous grin. "Now, you all know volleyball, right? Well, forget everything you know, because this version has a few...twists."
The campers exchange wary glances as Chris gestures to the "court"—a swampy mess of thick, gooey mud. "Not only will you be slipping and sliding through this muck," Chris continues, "but every few minutes, a surprise will be thrown your way to make things a little more... dynamic!"
Just as he finishes, the campers notice inflatable walls poised to pop up at random, swinging foam bats suspended from above, and wind machines strategically placed around the court. The sight elicits groans and eye-rolls from the contestants.
Chris beams, enjoying their reactions. "But wait, there's more! Today's match comes with a special bonus—the Triple Trouble Play! If any team can pull off a diving save, a backward set, and a spike while dodging an obstacle in one seamless play, you'll earn triple points! It's high risk, high reward, people. So, let's see who's got the guts to go for it! Good luck, campers… you're going to need it!, Also since the Serpents have one less player someone from the Voyagers will always be sitting out.
The horn blares, signaling the start of the game. Melissa takes a seat while the other 14 campers head to the court. The Valiant Voyagers leap into action, and almost immediately, Kylie charges forward with her eyes locked on the ball. The mud clings to her shoes, but she expertly maneuvers through it, her agility on full display. A quick dive into the mud sends her sliding just in time to scoop the ball up from the ground. The crowd of campers gasps as she pops up and sends the ball soaring up into the air.
Clay sees the opportunity and quickly sets the ball up. Kylie is already on her feet, her body still caked with thick mud, but her face shows pure determination. She jumps and smashes the ball down with a powerful spike that slams into the mud on the Serpents' side of the court, narrowly missing Brittany's outstretched arms. The voyagers cheer as they take the first point.
On the next play, Clay and Ax take their positions at the net, both towering and ready. The Serpents try a quick offensive move, with Leon lobbing the ball over in a high arc, but Ax reacts fast. He leaps up, muscles tensed, and with a powerful swipe, sends the ball crashing back to the Serpents' side. Dallas dives to save it but slips in the mud, missing by inches.
Clay and Ax share a nod, communicating silently, knowing they've got the upper hand. When the Serpents make another desperate attempt to score, Clay is ready. He times his jump perfectly and, with an authoritative smack, blocks the shot back over the net. The ball splashes into the mud, and another point goes to the Voyagers.
On the next play Brianna stumbles through the mud, slipping once, twice, three times in a row as she tries to position herself. When the ball comes her way, she flails to hit it but only manages a weak lob that Leon easily returns. Frustrated, she wipes mud from her eyes and mutters under her breath. Clay tries to block it but it bounces off his hand and lands at the feet of Katie. "Oh my bad sorry I missed that" she mumbles.
"That makes the game 3-1" Chris yells. Brianna quickly switches out with Melissa so that she can play and Bri can rest.
Katie continues to have a tough time reading the ball's trajectory. She gets into position, but when Leon sends a surprise spike her way, she panics, fumbling with her hands and missing the ball completely. Kylie shoots her a look of encouragement, but Katie can see the concern on her face.
As the game heats up, Chris decides it's time to add some chaos. With a dramatic push of a button, inflatable walls shoot up from the sides of the court, and the wind machines roar to life, blowing mud everywhere. Swinging foam bats drop from above, creating a new layer of mayhem.
Junior, seeing the incoming obstacles, steps up and takes charge of the Voyagers. "Stay sharp! Kylie, get ready for the set! Clay, cover the left!" he shouts, keeping his team organized amidst the chaos.
Kylie dives low, slipping beneath a swinging bat, and manages another spectacular save, sliding through the mud and sending the ball high. Clay jumps up, his eyes never leaving the ball, and tips it gently to Ax, who's ready. With a mighty leap and a grunt of effort, Ax spikes the ball hard past the Serpents' scrambling defense, scoring yet another point.
A quick montage unfolds, showcasing the Valiant Voyagers working in near-perfect sync. Junior directs traffic on the muddy court, calling out plays and positioning his teammates. Kylie springs into action with remarkable agility, effortlessly darting around the inflatable walls and sliding under swinging foam bats. She makes a diving save, launching the ball to Clay, who quickly sets it up for Ax. Ax delivers a powerful spike that cuts through the muddy air and lands squarely on the Serpents' side, adding another point to the Voyagers' score. The team cheers, united in their efforts.
However, the montage reveals some cracks in the Voyagers' otherwise solid performance. Brianna struggles to find her footing, slipping repeatedly in the thick mud. She reaches for a return but her footing gives way, causing her to miss the ball entirely. Meanwhile, Katie seems overwhelmed by the obstacles. She braces herself as an inflatable wall suddenly pops up in her path, causing her to stumble and miss the ball, which barely makes it over the net. The effort is there, but it's clear that both Brianna and Katie are struggling to keep up with the pace.
Despite these challenges, the rest of the Voyagers remain focused, dodging obstacles with precision and maintaining strong communication. The obstacles seem like minor inconveniences for Ax, Clay, and Kylie, who manage to avoid every swinging bat and mud-spraying wind machine. Their teamwork keeps the Voyagers in the lead, pushing the score higher.
On the other side of the net, the Sinister Serpents are a chaotic mix of skill and discord. Wade and Brittany continue their heated arguments, their voices clashing almost as much as their playing styles. "We need to focus on setting traps and baiting them," Wade hisses, trying to manipulate the game's flow. "Just hit it harder, Wade!" Brittany barks back, determined to overpower the Voyagers with sheer force.
Despite their bickering, the Serpent's display bursts of brilliance. Ana and Clara coordinate with sharp, quick moves, dodging the swinging foam bats and inflatable walls with ease. Dallas uses his strength to send a powerful serve over the net, catching the Voyagers off guard. Leon, eyes never leaving Brittany, mirrors her movements and manages to pull off a sneaky spike that lands just outside of Kylie's reach. Each time the Serpents gain a point, it's a testament to their raw power and cunning, even if they can't seem to agree on how to win.
As the game progresses, the tension builds. The Voyagers' lead begins to narrow as the Serpents claw their way back, displaying a relentless determination despite their internal chaos. The score inches closer and closer, finally reaching a nail-biting 14-12. The next point could decide it all.
With only a minute left, the Serpents are behind. Seeing the gap in points, Wade calls for a risky move. "We need the Triple Trouble Play," he insists.
Brittany, though annoyed at Wade, agrees. "Fine, but stay out of my way!" she barks.
Clara makes a diving save, surprising everyone with her agility. She quickly passes to Wade, who does a perfect backward set.
Just as Brittany prepares to spike, Chris activates the wind machines and a swinging foam bat. In a moment of sheer athleticism, Brittany dodges the foam bat, adjusts mid-air, and spikes the ball hard, scoring the triple points.
Chris: "And the Serpents score a Triple Trouble Play for triple points! The Sinister Serpents take the lead in a last-second twist!"
The Voyagers are stunned. Despite leading the entire game, the final point shift means they lose to the Serpents' risky maneuver.

*Voyagers Cabin*
.
Back at camp, the mood among the Valiant Voyagers is heavy with frustration and disappointment. Mud-covered and exhausted, the campers shuffle back to their cabin, their earlier energy now drained after the tense challenge. The loss stings, especially after they had led for most of the game, only to be outdone by the Serpents' last-second maneuver. The silence among them is palpable, broken only by the occasional squelch of mud beneath their shoes.
Ax paces back and forth near the entrance, his brows knitted together in frustration. He finally speaks up, his voice tense. "We had them. We had them right where we wanted. How did we let them slip through like that?" He clenches his fists, his knuckles turning white. It's clear he's more upset about the squandered lead than the actual loss.
Kylie, still dripping with mud but with her hands on her hips, nods in agreement. "We were killing it out there. It's like… we're always this close, and then boom, they pull some stunt," she says, her tone tinged with frustration. She kicks a small rock, sending it skittering into the bushes. "We need to figure out what's holding us back."
The group gathers in a loose circle, each of them still catching their breath and wiping the mud from their faces. Junior, sensing the growing tension, takes a deep breath and steps forward. "Look, we did great today," he begins, his tone calm but firm. "It was a tough loss, but it was a twist we couldn't control. The Serpents just got lucky with that multiplier, and that's not on us." He tries to meet each teammate's eyes, hoping to lift their spirits. "We were a strong team out there, and we can't forget that."
Ax lets out a sigh and leans against a tree, wiping his face with his shirt. "Maybe, but it's not just about how strong we are," he mutters. "It's about who can keep up when things get messy." His eyes nervously dart over to Brianna and Katie, and the unspoken words hang heavily in the air.
Brianna, sitting on a nearby rock, keeps her eyes downcast, nervously picking at the mud caked on her shoes. She can feel the weight of their stares. She knows she didn't perform her best, but she hopes it was enough to avoid the chopping block. Katie, beside her, bites her lip and fidgets with her hands nervously humming, her eyes flicking up to meet the others' before quickly darting away again.
"I know I've been slipping up a lot," Katie finally speaks, her voice small but earnest. "I really am trying to do better." She looks up, her eyes searching for some sign of reassurance from her teammates, but most of them are lost in their own thoughts. "Its also not my fault, how am I supposed to succeed without Sadie".
Kylie crosses her arms, her expression softening but still resolute. "Look, Katie, you're a nice girl," she says, trying to be gentle but direct. "But we've got to be strong in challenges if we're going to win. We need everyone to be on point, all the time."
Junior nods, still trying to mediate the situation. "It's not about blaming anyone," he adds, trying to soften the blow. "We're all trying our best out there, and we're a team. But sometimes, we have to make tough choices for the good of the group."
Katie swallows hard, her eyes starting to glisten. She nods slowly, her shoulders slumping. "I get it," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the rustle of the leaves. "I just wish I could have shown you guys more."
The group falls silent, the reality of the upcoming elimination sinking in. They all know what needs to be done, but that doesn't make it any easier.

*Campfire Pit*
.
The Valiant Voyagers gather around the flickering campfire, their faces illuminated by the warm glow. The tension is thick as they wait for Chris to speak, each camper glancing nervously at the others. The marshmallows sit on a silver platter in front of Chris, who grins with his usual mix of enthusiasm and mischief.
"Voyagers, welcome to your campfire ceremony," Chris announces, pacing in front of them with dramatic flair. "As you all know, the rules are simple: if you get a marshmallow, you're safe and survive another day on this island. If you don't... well, you get the pleasure of walking down the Dock of Shame, hopping on the Boat of Losers, and sailing away, never to return. At least, not this season."
The campers exchange uneasy glances, and Katie shifts uncomfortably, already sensing what might be coming.
Chris picks up the first marshmallow and calls out, "Clay!" Clay catches the marshmallow with a nod, clearly relieved.
"Ax!" The marshmallow flies into Ax's hand, who gives a small smirk of approval.
"Kylie!" Chris continues, and Kylie grabs her marshmallow confidently.
Next, he says, "Wolfie!" Wolfie gives a relieved grin, snatching the marshmallow mid-air.
"Junior!" Junior catches his marshmallow and gives Katie a small, encouraging smile, though he looks concerned.
"Melissa!" Chris calls, and Melissa exhales deeply, snatching her marshmallow from the air.
The tension grows as Chris picks up the final marshmallow, holding it for dramatic effect. The camera pans to Brianna and Katie, both looking nervous and unsure. "And the final marshmallow goes to... Brianna!"
Brianna breathes a sigh of relief and takes her marshmallow with a shaky smile, clearly relieved. Katie lowers her head, already bracing herself for the news.
Chris turns to her with a sympathetic yet amused expression. "Katie, it looks like your time on the island has come to an end. Time to head down the Dock of Shame."
Katie stands up slowly, her face a mix of disappointment and acceptance. She turns to the group, and Brianna immediately steps forward to give her a hug. "I'm gonna miss you, Katie," she says softly.
Junior offers a warm smile. "Keep your head up, Katie. You did your best out there," he says, giving her a supportive pat on the back.
Katie smiles back, her eyes a little misty but her spirit still intact. "Thanks, everyone. Good luck out there! You're gonna need it," she says with a small laugh, trying to lighten the mood. She waves goodbye to her team and makes her way down to the Dock of Shame.
As Katie disappears into the distance, the camera shifts back to Chris, who turns to address the viewers with his trademark grin.
"And that's another camper down! But don't go anywhere, folks, because the drama is just heating up! Next time, expect even more chaos as the campers face a brand-new challenge that's sure to turn alliances upside down. And with tensions growing among the Sinister Serpents, who knows how long they can keep their fragile team together? Find out next time on Total! Drama! Heroes! And! Villains!"
The scene fades out with Chris's voice echoing over the island, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next episode.

Author's Note
Hey everyone, I've been loving the reviews recently, when I decided to bring back this story and finish it I honestly was not sure I would get anyone to read the remaining chapters so I am very happy that several of you are. Sorry the break was long with this chapter in my job. August is a very busy month filled with many 12 hour days and that coupled with other responsibilities (Grad School, Second Job, Pets, etc) I just didn't have time to write. Should have pretty regular updates from here on out. We are also at chapter 14 and I currently have 28 planned so halfway point in a weird way. Thanks again, please keep up the reviews with predictions, critiques, and praises if you have them.
