A/N; Here ya go. Had a lot of trouble uploading this for some reason. Next two chapters are up on pa=tre=on (same username as the one I have here, and the link is in the description)

He read the description of the test's goals and almost actually scoffed out loud. He couldn't believe that after all the differences that he'd noticed between this world and the one from the anime, that the tests would be essentially the same. Villain robots spread across the battlescape, with the goal of destroying them as the qualification requirement. The only difference here was that they were being told that there were civilians scattered across the battles cape and that they had a duty to save as many as possible to earn rescue points. Another difference might have been the fact that each villain bit was only worth a measly flat five points. He'd have to destroy dozens of the thing to come close to beating the public UA University Entrance Exam High Score- held by one Enji Todoroki (Endeavour).

He waited as the screen flashed across a countdown. 10, 9, 8… His power choices were simple to make in the end. He had three requirements: mobility, long range destructive potential to deal with the robots, and enhanced senses to identify the robots from range. Three powers came to mind instantly: flight, lasers, and enhanced vision. 4,3… He took a deep breath as he felt the powers settle in his body.

The second the last number flashed and the gates to the battles cape swung open, he blasted forwards at close to his top speed. Behind him, he noticed a few examinees who hadn't been prepared get tossed off their feet by the shockwave from his rapid ascent. He was the first to cross the gate and crest the scene. That meant he was also the first to see one of the robots. Raising a hand in front of him, he concentrated for a second or two. A disc of light formed in front of him before a laser shot out of said disc and slammed through the robot, destroying it. He felt his card vibrate, and lifted it out of his pocket to see that it read a simple, "5 points" next to his name.

No information on how the other candidates would be doing, but it did make it very useful for keeping track of one's own progress. Settled with that, he flew off towards the most central part of the battles cape, a giant apartment building that towered over most others smack dab in the middle. It was the perfect place for a sniper to stay. He landed and wasted no time in swapping flight for Supercomputer. His most used power had nearly a dozen functions it aided in. Here, it's role was simple- aim assist. He took his position, and used his enhanced vision to scope the entire city at once. Enhanced vision was a mindfuck of a power. In its most simple form, it allowed him pick out details at range. But when he put all his focus into it, he could use it like a Byakugan from the Naruto anime for short bursts. That meant 360 degree x-ray vision. He spotted one robot and wasted no time in lifting his left hand to destroy it.

Another appeared to him a few buildings away and he destroyed it with similar ease. Through a few buildings, he noticed another one in the middle of sending some missiles at a few hopefuls. He turned in that direction, and sent his shot flying right through the windows of both buildings before it curved at precisely the right time to blast the robot's centrepiece to dust. With each 'kill' he made, he felt his card vibrate.

From his position, he spent his time moving and turning to get the best angles to destroy the robots closest to him. He could see most of the city, but that didn't mean his lasers could fire that far. He had to content himself with his immediate surrounding and a few blocks away. Not a small range, by any means. Off in the distance, he noticed Mina dancing through a volley of missiles before she tossed some acid at the robot that sent them and watching it dissolve almost instantly. I spun around and breathed out before firing a laser that just barely missed a candidate before destroying the robot that had been attempting to sneak up on him.

I could see the civilians as well. But there was no point in spending my time trying to rescue them from their positions. Having already scouted the city, I could already tell that there wasn't any easily defensible area I could use as a gathering point for rescued civilians. Sure, I could probably charm a few fellow candidates into working with me, and that kind of thing would look really good for the examiners, but it was too many moving parts for too unsure an outcome. There was no specific point figure attached to the saving of civilians. There were also so many civilians in the fake city that there was little chance the reward per civilian was any higher than the reward per destroyed robot. A few people were taking the risk, and I did make sure to ensure that no robots harassed them on their journeys.

Speaking of, a boy carrying an older woman on his back was being surrounded by a group of three robots. Checking the distance, I scowled. I ran across the rooftop before leaping at the very edge. I folded my knees towards my chest to make sure I cleared the distance to the next building and rolled along the floor to bleed the momentum before I popped up again and pointed my hand right at them. The first robot died without any party noticing my presence. The boy instantly turned in my direction, and the remaining villain bots tried to use his distraction against him, but the missiles they sent at him seemed to slow down in mid air as they approached his form. I swallowed whatever questions I had an just settled for blasting both robots to oblivion.

"Thank you, Long Distance Sniper-san" The boy screamed into the air. I wondered what the hell he was thinking by that. I was much too far to hear whatever he said, I could only read his lips thanks to enhanced vision. I offered him a two fingered salute that I knew he wouldn't see, and almost collapsed on my knees as I felt enhanced vision's toll hit me all at once. I gulped and switched the power out for flight. Supercomputer allowed me use the power for longer than otherwise, but enhanced vision still demanded a heavy cost.

At the end of the day, however, the power had run its course. There were no more robots within my range. I floated off from the rooftop and slowly lowered my altitude before I shot off deeper into the city. I still remembered the locations of a few packets oof robotic influence that were yet to be destroyed so those were what I made my way out for in the first instance.

In the end, when I had destroyed all the robots worthy of chasing after, the ground began to shake and vibrate. I'd wondered if it was going to show up in this battle. Especially considering no one had made any mention of it in the briefing on the exam. I hesitated for a moment as the robot revealed itself. The anime really undersold just how menacing that thing was. I was floating at a height close to the top of some of the tallest buildings here, and I still wasn't up to its chest. I pointed my hand at it and fired off a laser from relatively close range. The laser hit it with barely any effect other than a light black mark.

I scoffed. Fucking Nezu and his tricks. I flew even closer, while still making sure to be out of its path of destruction and stretched out both arms towards it. This time I stretched out both arms, forming a larger disc of light. This laser was a whole order of magnitude more powerful than the first one, and while it did manage to punch through the robot's armour, it stopped without making any headway into the being's internals. How shameful.

The robot almost seemed to be ignoring me, content to walk forward while swinging its massive arms. Buildings came down with every step it took forward as little was capable of standing in its way.

So how was I going to play this. The robot turned in my direction, almost abruptly and its massive chest piece opened up. Oh fuck, I thought to myself as dozens of missiles came flying towards may vicinity. I couldn't dodge. There were buildings behind me that hadn't been emptied yet. I also couldn't swap out the power I was using in time. For some reason, that process always took a few seconds. A few seconds that I didn't have right now. I raised my hands, intent on destroying as many as I could with my lasers. I blasted the first two to ash, and their explosions failed to send the rest of course, so there went that hope. I flew backwards and destroyed each one that came towards me with a laser from either of my hands. In the end, I was going to have to dodge out of he way and let a few hit their targets. At least, that was the thought I was beginning to accept until I felt something land on my back. I almost panicked and turned to destroy the intruder before I saw a hand extend past my head. The missiles slowed down as they came towards me.

"Happy to help, Long range sniper-san" I chuckled and blasted the missiles to dust.

"Thank you-" I said, letting the silence stretch to indicate that I wanted his name.

He didn't seem to understand the message and just dropped down from my back. I wanted to intervene and catch him before he got himself killed, but I noticed that he fell to the ground in slow motion before landing next to a brown haired woman who looked vaguely familiar.

I turned to the robot who still hadn't stopped its rampage and scowled. I swapped lasers out for black hole. There were a few precious seconds the power took to settle, and in that time I noticed that the robot was well on its way to stepping over a very familiar pink form. It was a race to see which would happen first, and my power cooperated with me as it settled down in record time. I cupped my hands in front of me, concentrating to form the massive gravity event.

I kept it contained in my grip as I flew right at the robot. Just as it was about to step over Mina, I reached its chest piece and thrust the black hole right into its chest like it was some sort of rasengan. Out of my grip, it instantly activated, sucking in everything around it with the exception of its creator, me. Since I'd shoved it into the Robot's chest, everything around it happened to very much be the robot's frame. It's wiring, armour, everything tore itself up to race into the black hole. Accretion, I thought with a smile, as I watched the black hole grow with every bit of the robot it consumed.

The moment I noted that most of the robot was gone and the black hole had begun to reach down for material from the ground, I reached out and placed a hand on the black hole. This was always the hardest part. The first time I'd done this, I hadn't even known it was possible. I placed hands on both sides of the now beach ball sized hole in reality. For some reason, this power allowed me ignore much of conventional physics as I physically pushed the black hole shut. It was hard work, and took a few minutes, but at the end of the day, the black hole was gone, and so was the giant robot.

I floated down towards Mina who was looking at me with an awestruck look on her face.

"You're strong" She muttered in a tone of voice I'd grown very familiar with.

A/N; Thank you for reading Next two on pa-tr-eo-n like I said earlier.
