That night, Raven was getting ready for bed in her new room which she had quickly moved her things to thanks to her magic.
"Thanks for letting me stay here, Cerise," said Raven while turning to face the half wolf girl who had her hood off revealing her wolf ears since the purple haired girl already knew about them.
"Better you than the girl who can't keep secrets," said Cersie.
"Also you have had some first week of school, haven't you?" she asked.
"I know, and now I can't help but think of the chaos the rest of the year holds for me now that everything has already changed so much," said Raven while falling backwards onto her bed.
"More changes will be coming now that everyone is free to make their own destinies," said Cerise.
"So why keep hiding who you are?" asked Raven.
"It's not my secret to tell," said Cerise.
"Okay, it may be your family secret but it still hurts you the most doesn't it?" asked Raven as she sat up and looked at her new roommate.
"And who has any right to say a word to you about your family now?" she asked.
"You know what, you're right; I'm going to talk with my family about this tomorrow," said a determined Cerise.
"There you go," said Raven.
"By the way, do you think Apple and Cedar will be okay as roommates?" asked Cerise.
"I'm sure they will be fine," said Raven with a smile. Meanwhile, the mentioned girls were sitting together on the couch in their room.
"So, what else do you like about Cerise?" asked Apple.
"I can't hexplain it but she smells like fresh dew in the early mornings of a forest, which is such a calming scent," said Cedar.
"And then there is her…," she said before slapping a hand to her mouth.
"Cedar?" asked a worried Apple.
"I… I think it's time for bed," said Cedar while standing and handing to her side.
"That was too close, Cerise is obviously trying to keep her ears a secret," she thought, unaware of the small cracks appearing on her body under the nightgown she had been wearing.
