"So the place where only three heroes in the myths have gone to, more than fifty percent of us have been there and survived at least once?"
"Yes." said Grover.
"Pretty much." said Annabeth.
"Indeed." said Hazel.
"My dad needs to step up his security." said Nico. "But at this point he's used to it."
"Also it's four." said Frank, beating Annabeth to it. "Odysseus, Theseus, Heracles and Orpheus."

"Is that really what the Underworld is like?" asked Jason.
"I've lived in the Underworld for seventy years but it was the Fields of Asphodel and that place was grim but not that terrifying."
"It's the Fields of Punishment," said Nico. "The Route of Odysseus I believe is called and it just passes in the River Acheron and near the start of Tartarus and Fields of Punishment and that's where the cruel are sent to be punished."
"That explains the screams." said Clarisse.

"Not really," said Percy. "You're just in the bad area of the Underworld."
"Yeah, in the Odyssey the Underworld is described as a very dark and grim place so I guess that's what the Odysseus of our world saw as well." said Annabeth.
"Well this one needs more education." said Nico.
"Only four heroes have ever witnessed the Underworld alive and left that way in every mythology. Odysseus was the most detailed in his answers." said Frank.

The majority of them didn't have mothers as most of them either died, abandoned them or were a Goddess and didn't have time for them. Only Percy didn't feel this emotion, his mother was always there for him and he had no idea what his friends must have been feeling like. He recalled during the 'Great Slumber' in the Second Titan War and how it felt when he saw his mother asleep and now he imagined it if she never woke up.
