Later that day, Joseph, now back in his skin, had finished giving a speech on his new project.
Intending to make a quick escape a rather annoying pesk found her way to Joseph.
"Excuse me, ? I represent the Cardiff Gazette", said the woman, who seemed to be a reporter as she dashed over!
Joseph frowned and tried to shoo her off, "I'm sorry Miss, whatever your name is! I can't bare these interviews, now run alon-", the irritating woman wasn't leaving that easy...
"But are you aware of the curse?", asked the woman with a quite serious tone.
Joseph gave a rather forced smile before replying, "What on earth are you on about Miss... Cathy wasn't it...?", "Cathy Salt. But that's what some of your engineers are saying, that the Blythe Druwg project is cursed.", she replied.
Joseph scoffed and answered back, "Utter rubbish woman!", Miss Salt, looking rather taken aback again kept an impatient and irritable at bay, "That's what I thought, I was just chasing a bit of local colour, but when you start to piece it together it does begin to look a bit odd.",
looked a lot more concerned at this latest obscucal in the way of his plans, "And whatever do you mean by that ...", asked a grumpy Joseph, "The deaths! The number of deaths associated with this project!", replied and continued on Cathy Salt, as Joseph's face dropped further and further to one of irritantance, "First of all there was the ENTIRE team of European safety inspectors...", Joseph barged in, "Foreigners! That explosion was their own fault...", despite the fact Jocrassa had purposefully rigged the explosion, "And then that was that accident with the Cardiff Heritage Committee...", continued Cathy Salt.
Joseph made up another excuse, "Is it my fault if my staff are too lazy to fix what I tell them to woman?!", another occasion where Jocrassa purposefully had the committee team end up in the pool which had been purposefully electrified, electrocuting them all!
continued... "And then the architect?", Joseph blurted another excuse, "Blind! Utterly blind... it was poor enough weather!".
then mentioned the latest 'accident', a sore subject for Jocrassa and the way his face changed showed it, "And then recently , the government's nuclear advisor.", Joseph worked his way around this one, "Clumsy man slipped on a icy patch!", wasn't convinced however, "He was decapitated!, "A very clumsy man!", Joseph blurted out before attempting to evade and the room, I'm afraid these stories are nothing more than typical, absurd rumours woman! Excuse me-".
was a hard one to rid, she brought up some very concerning details, "Except before he died, posted some of his findings online...", Joseph, trying to hide the disgust, anger and worry than his latest victim had betrayed him, casually replied, "I see...", carried on, "I knew where to look. He was concerned about the reactor.", Joseph laughed, trying to divert any worry from the situation, "Oh... that technical rubbish!", then blurted out a load of technical mumbo jumbo, "The design of the suppression field would cause the hydrogen recombusters to fail, percyprocating in the collapse of the containment isolation field, resulting in a meltdown."
Joseph had a very disgruntled look on his face and knew he needed to take care of , he formed a plan in his head. "Doing your homework I see...", replied Joseph, reverting his face to a smile, "That's my job.", replied . "I think...", Joseph felt over Cathy with his chubby, sweaty hands, "Cathy Salt... I think you and I need a word in private."
The plan was set in motion, Joseph lured Cathy away, arm in arm, leaving the previous room and heading down the corridor before the gas exchange set off Joseph's stomach...
It rumbled, and Joseph casually played it off, Cathy looking considerably worried, "Oh don't mind that , a funny stomach. I think me and you need a detour."
looked quite worried as Joseph practically dragged her arm in arm to the men's toilets.
She protested, "I can't go in here-", Joseph interrupted, "Rubbish... you can wait outside! Now come on!"
Joseph let his sweaty hand and arm go from Cathy's before charging for the door to the men's, "What were you saying about these absurd theories?", Joseph barged through the door before letting out a wet and nasty fart, which to Cathy on the other end, sounded like Joseph had quite a painful poo...
"Sounds like we got you just in time...", remarked Cathy, disgusted but trying to play it off.
"Nevermind that!", snapped Joseph from behind the door.
Cathy, taken aback for a moment, recomposed herself, "Well...I don't know much about nuclear physics...", Joseph who was stood on the other end of the door, raised his fat arms to his sweaty forehead and pulled on the zipper hidden under the flesh as continued, "But from what I could make out, Cleaver was saying that the whole project could go up, worse than Chernobyl..."
As Joseph continued to pull the zipper along, a blue light flashed on and off in the room, Cathy noticed under the door too and commented, "Is there something wrong with the lights?", Joseph played it off with an excuse, "Shoddy workman... I'll fire them if I find them! A-a-anyway... C-Chernobyl...?!", Joseph could hardly contain himself as the zip reached the end of his forehead and he shut his eyes, he was in pure ecstasy, and it was only going to get better...
Joseph peeled back the top of his head, his hair and scalp flying back behind him, revealing his lumpy and true Slitheen scalp, ready to be freed as the oblivious Cathy Salt continued...
"Apparently, a thousand times worse...", she said, as Jocrassa began to yank down his skin, forcing his true, Green Slitheen head to wiggle free, revealing his wide, bulky head and large black eyes.
"I know this sounds absurd, there must be so many safety regulations, but Cleaver seemed to be talking about a nuclear holocaust..." continued, as Jocrassa's true, snake like neck slithered free from the crumpled and stretched face of Joseph, with it's hair sticking upwards messily, as Jocrassa let out a roar of pleasure.
Cathy continued, "He almost made it sound deliberate!", Jocrassa by now had wiggled his true, gigantic Slitheen claws, arms and torso from the skin, which hung stretched and squished around his fat gut, he shook it downward as the empty arms of the skin swayed, before it simply fell from his gut and down his thick, sweaty legs. Another roar of pleasure emerged from Jocrassa as Cathy Salt continued speaking from the other side of the door, "I know we're hardly The Sunday Times, we're only The Cardiff Gazette but we still have a duty to report the facts."
Jocrassa, now fully naked and never feeling better, picked up the empty skin of Joseph Green, which lay somewhat over his large, green feet and replied, "Do you plan to print this information?"
Jocrassa's voice changed to a rather croaky one and a concerned Cathy noticed, "Are you alright, you sound a bit-", Jocrassa, who was hanging up the empty skin of Joseph Green on one of the coat pegs replied with an excuse, "Just a soar throat... anyway! Will you be printing this information?"
Jocrassa pressed his large, Slitheen claws against Joseph's floppy skin to make sure it was hung right.
"I have to...", replied a determined Cathy Salt.
An angry Jocrassa was ready for the kill... "So be it...", he muttered, raising his claw, eager to end her life and remove the next human in his way to his freedom...
"Mind you my boyfriend thinks I'm mad...", said Cathy as she wandered around.
"Boyfriend...?", inquired Jocrassa, who lowered his claw.
"Geoffrey, he's nothing exciting but he's mine.", Cathy replied, Jocrassa enquired further, and perhaps a bit too far forward, "When's the wedding...?", a very eager and happy Cathy answered gleefully, "19th, it's really just to stop my mother from nagging but the baby sort of clenched it I suppose!"
Jocrassa, taken aback and not realising the lady had been pregnant, plumped his sweaty slitheen backside on the toilet seat, with the skin of Joseph hung up next to him, "You have a child?" he asked, "3 months, not showing it, mind you it was an accident..." Cathy replied and smiled, "Nice accident though.", "Congratulations", replied Jocrassa. Cathy smiled, "Thank you, how about you?
You got any kids?", Jocrassa sadly replied, "No, no no.", "Is there a ?", asked Cathy, "Not anymore...", replied Jocrassa, "No, just me."
"I err...", continued Jocrassa, "Had a large family at onepoint but, but that's over now.", he said quite sadly, "All by myself."
Jocrassa felt quite depressed and made a comment that reflected that, "Maybe you're right , maybe I am cursed.", a very sympathetic Cathy tried to comfort him, "Awhh no I don't think so, not really!", Jocrassa chuckled and replied, "Very touching...", Jocrassa then decided he'd rather some time alone, "I'll be a while. Run along now.", Cathy looked a bit concerned for his wellbeing and spoke up, "Are you alright?", Jocrassa nodded and replied, "Yes."
"Alright I'll tell you what I'll err... leave my details with your office. Thanks for talking.", a grateful Cathy exchanged. "Yes..", replied a sad, but also grateful Jocrassa.
Cathy Salt then took her leave, looking behind her one last time before strolling away, smiling, perhaps in pity for Jocrassa before leaving him all alone, upset and lowering his head, and shutting his large black eyes, with the skin of Joseph Green hanging over him...
