WARCRAFT IV -- CHAPTER 3 - Reign of the Damned 1 (Undead Campaign)

I rewrote it all up to update my writings. STRUCTURE: My stories are NOT written in a typical novel form of writing. The way I wrote my stories is like how a Warcraft RTS game (NOT WoW) is played, only in words.

5. Citadel of the King

Meanwhile in the frozen valley of the Icecrown Glacier at the base of his throne chamber, the Lich King Arthas channels a dark powerful necromantic spell that raises all the scattered frozen corpses of the dead nagas and blood elves of Illidan that he fought against around the region. The Nerubian Crypt Lord Anub'arak stands by the side of the Lich King as he witnesses the great dark power of his master. As Arthas raises his sword Frostmourne, the runeblade glows blue and unleashes a dark energy that permeates around the region. Bursting forth from the snows are a large number of new undead warriors that shall fight for the Lich King. The dead rises as snow falls heavily on Icecrown Glacier. Anub'arak rallies the newly risen undead along with the old surviving undead warriors as they prepare to take command from their king. After using his power to bolster his forces, the Lich King commands his servants to establish a new stronghold of the Scourge near his throne chamber.

Lich King: "The dead lie still beneath us. Once they were our foes, now in death, they shall become my warriors! I call upon you all to serve me! Arise as I command! Arise and fight for the Scourge!"

Anub'arak: "Most impressive, master! These once minions of Illidan shall now follow your every command as your own undead armies. Our forces grow stronger with every foe that we had killed."

Lich King: "Indeed, Anub'arak. Nothing shall stop the Scourge now! With our forces bolstered, it is time to establish our new fortress here on Icecrown. Anub'arak, I want you to establish this site as our main fortress. Here at the base of my throne chamber will be our Capital here on Northrend."

Anub'arak: "It shall be done, master! I shall see to it that we build our new stronghold swiftly. The region of Icecrown Glacier shall be the Capital of the Scourge as you rule over your frozen throne!"

Lich King: "See it done, Anub'arak. Once our defenses are complete, we will begin our domination over the rest of these lands. Just like with Lordaeron, the Scourge shall take over all of Northrend!"

Acolytes had been sent around to establish multiple Scourge bases upon the nearby goldmines that surround the throne chamber to ensure the formidable defenses of the Scourge Fortress. Anub'arak watches over the construction of the large undead camps near the activated ancient obelisks around the throne chamber that they had fought for control against Illidan. With no more enemy forces or any other neutral hostile creatures in the region, the Scourge are in total control of Icecrown Glacier as they establish their new citadel without opposition. Once his fortress is complete, the Lich King intends to spread his undead armies throughout other regions of Northrend and take over it as well by building more bases, and eradicating all forms of life and raising them into his undead warriors.
