It started out with nothing too noticeable.

The Vikings really didn't think much about it, though according to the high and mighty romans they didn't think at all. Yeah, if only they knew… Anyways, they didn't seem to notice much, when their dragons began to sneeze and itch a tad. They simply thought the change in weather was making them sensitive. After all, it would make sense considering the cold brought flu and other sicknesses. They figured they would get something for their dragons and let them sleep in a little later to heal and recover. It was a simple solution for their scaley, fire-breathing friends with wings.

But then, they got worse…

Dragons soon began to fall out of the sky as their riders were able to land themselves and them to safety as it was soon apparent that this was something more. The dragons were unable to move and were brought back to their stables to be cared for the best way they could. The problem was spreading from dragon to dragon without any sign of stopping. It was becoming a fierce type of plague as the dragons were losing the battle to whatever inflicted him.

"Poor fellows, wonder what sickness this be." Swift breathed as she petted one of the dragons then noticed Stoic and Hiccup appearing from the house, caring for their own dragon.

"We have a problem." Her brother informed her.

"You're telling me. Many of these poor devils look like they're about to pass the gates of Valhalla." She breathed as the healers were stretched thin in helping the dragons.

"The dragons are allergic to something, but we don't know what it is." Hiccup breathed with deep worry in his soul.

"Johan just delivered everything new, we will need to bury everything the people got." Swift advised while she summoned two Vikings, "Spread the word. Everything bought from Johan is to be buried."

"Yes, Ma'am."

She hoped that this would curb the plague.

At the Village where the new flowers were planted…

Mildew…

Of course, it was Mildew. That old goat has caused nothing but trouble for others for such a terribly long time. If her brother hadn't stopped her and the other siblings, she would have flung him into the sea with the jagged pointy rocks.

"For now, we need him, and… he can avoid Blood Eagle if he helps us catch the Scauldron," Stoic advised his outraged sister.

"WHAT!?" Mildew bellowed by the chief's threat.

"Either you help us with the venom, or I'll kill you with my bare hands. Either way, we win." Stoic threatened the old man.

"So, get moving." Hiccup ordered.

"I never seen the day that I'm ordered by a Hiccup…" He grumbled, earning a bit of the ire of Rawhide.

"What was that?" Rawhide growled.

"I mean, we have a Scauldron to catch up!" Mildew chuckled nervously.

Either killed by a dragon or killed by the Haddocks.

He rather the dragon.

Later in Gorthi's hut…

Swift has not laughed this hard in her life.

What the strange mystic of the east says is true, Karma can be bitter and thus proven with Mildew, who was responsible for the illness of the dragon, provided the cure… via the bite from the Scauldron on his… rump. Swift cackled hard when Gobber was grabbing the... oh this is hilarious.

"WAIT! WAIT! Don't you have anything smaller?!" The old man pleaded while the chieftains watched the painful, humiliating, and self-deserving extraction.

"Maybe." Gobber hummed, not really caring about Mildew, especially since he caused so much trouble to others.

Then Mildew howled as the venom was agonizingly, very agonizingly removed! And Swift laughed all the way through.

"If should have brought food to watch this. I love Karma!" Swift snorted while she slapped her knee from the comedy.

"Karma?" Stoic wondered; all the siblings were looking at her oddly.

"From the people from the East. I learned it when I was doing business with them. It means getting what you deserved, and those monks were right." She cackled then finally breathing from the merriment of Mildew's punishment, "After curing our dragons, I'll tell you more about it, because it is unbelievable."

Thus, the cure was provided to all the dragons and restored to their strength.
