The Ghost and Molly McGee Kai chp3
All was quiet in the McGee house hold, everyone was fast asleep in their beds, peacefully as they all were off to dreamland, all except one. Young Molly McGee was sleeping however it was not peacefully, instead of her usual dreams of rainbows, unicorns and overall happiness amongst the masses of the world, she was instead dreaming of voices talking, yelling and screaming at her, a unsettling barrage of various tones and vocals coming at her but one thing that stood out tempest of voices was that they keep saying the same thing, "A pure soul".
Molly started to shuffle and move in her bed as the voice got louder, constantly repeating the same three words to the point where that was all she could hear, to the point where it sounded like they were real, to the point that they were right next to her, Molly suddenly woke up as that last one felt way to close as she checked her room for any signs of something else being there, she quickly got up want to go check the small dollhouse next to her, much to her relief she peer inside as so Scratch sleeping inside.

Molly let out a sigh as she realised it was just a nightmare and some prank by Scratch, with that in her mind she returned to her bed and tried to go back to sleep, wrapped up tight in her blanket Molly tried to go back to sleep, when she was close to drifting off, she started to hear the sound of rattling, at first she shrugged it off thinking it was from the outside of the house but it started getting louder at first Molly thought she was having another nightmare but she realised something that made her turn cold, she hadn't fallen asleep yet, Molly ran over to the dollhouse and started to call out to Scratch, "Scratch, Scratch wake up!", Molly said as the rattling continued, increasing on volume just like voices in Molly's nightmare but this time she was awake and worse she wasn't the only one hearing it.
Scratch rose from the dollhouse, with a stretch and a yawn and check to see what was disturbing his sleep," What is all that noise, a ghost needs his sleep you know", Scratch said groggily, however that grogginess changed to concern when he saw Molly with a panicked look on her face, see this he rushed over to her, " Hey Moll you okay?", Scratch said, " Scratch, do you know what going on?, this keeps getting louder", Molly said as her thoughts of panic were being drowned out by the sound, it was so loud that the rest of the residents of the house, that being Sharon, Pete and Darryl all came out of their rooms awoken by the sound," What is that sound?", Sharon said as she put her hands on her ears to block the noise, her husband and son followed suit, as the noise did not stop. Back in the attic Molly and Scratch did the same in retaliation, " What is going on?", Molly said flinching to the sound, "I don't know, can't think with all this noise, it kinda sounds like chains rattling", Scratch said reeling at the intense sound, Molly could only groan in response as the noise was reaching a all time high, this was now felt by everyone in the house as they all reeling back from it.
Molly has had enough of this, as she got up from her crouched position, stood up and shouted " WHOEVER DOING THIS CAN YOU PLEASE STOOOP!", and just like that silence returned to the McGee home, everyone gave out a sigh of relief as it felt like everything was back to normal, "Is everyone ok ?", Pete said as he went to check on his family, once he was done, he went to go check on Molly however as soon as he touch the ladder to the attic, two chains burst from the floor and straight towards the attic knocking Pete off the ladder, the chains enter Molly room breaking the hatch door, darted around for a bit until they wrapped around Molly 's legs and dragged her out of the room, Scratch called out to her she was pulled throughout the house, her family briefly saw her as she went by, they didn't even have time to say her name before she was pulled out the house and down the street, which in response her family and Scratch ran to follow her.
Molly could feel the ground dragged against her as she was being pulled in multiple different directions, all the way moving her body to avoid being hit by lampposts and the occasional mailbox but eventually the chains that pulled her about suddenly stopped as they were no longer around her legs, Molly gave a quick sigh as she looked around her and realised she was in an alleyway of sorts but that thought was quickly put to the side as she got up and ran, however when she got to alleyway exit chains came from the ground block her path, she immediately got up and ran to the other side any to be blocked again, Molly slowly walked away as the feeling of now way out crept up on her however as she was moving backwards something tall stopped her as she bumped into, Molly slowly turned around to see what it was and almost fell back in response, standing in front of her was a tall, thin man in ragged clothes, however everything about him was off, his arms were abnormally long and his mouth was far too wide for a normal person, his eyes were slightly hollow, borderline empty.

Molly quickly got up and stared at the man in fear, " Hey, listen I don't know what you want but I'm sure I can help you if you let me go", she said franticly, "What I want?" the man said, his wide mouth starting to curl, "Oh I got what I want alright", the man said, suddenly changing his tone into a happy one, "Your my ticket out of this accursed form and fortunately for me I got here first", he said smiling, "What, I don't understand?", Molly said, confused from the man's ramblings, "You don't need to understand, you'll be a husk in a moment, so just stand there nice and still and GIVE ME THAT PURE SOUL!", the man demand as he stretch his arms out sending chains towards Molly, she quickly covered herself with her arms , ready to brace the attack, but to her surprise it never came.

Molly lowered her arms to see that the chains sent her way were cut in half, laying on the ground, "What?!", the man said shocked at what happened, suddenly the sound of birds calling fill the alleyway, both the man and Molly looked up to the sky and saw a flock of ravens circle the area, suddenly the ravens dived down and swarmed the area, flying all over the place causing the man to raise his arm to defend himself, Molly on the other hand stood still as she saw the ravens started to gather in one place, forming a shape, the shape of a boy.
The ravens started to disappear as they gathered to finalise the shape of the boy in front of Molly, the boy being Kai. Kai looked at Molly who at this point was beyond confused due to the situation at hand, "Molly McGee?", he said in a calm tone, all Molly could do was nod, " Your a lot more feeble looking than I thought", he said with disappointment, Molly was too stunned to care about the insult, she just continued listening, "Well I make this quick, my name is Kai, I was sent by The Raven Queen to", Kai said before being interrupted by the man, "HEY!", he shouted," who the heck are you?", he said with anger, Kai turned around in response, "I was here first and I will not let take WHAT'S MI...!", before the man could finish he was cut in 2 by Kai as he fell to the ground Molly let out a scream that cause Kai to jump, "Why are you screaming?", he said irritably, " You just sliced that man in half!", she yelled, "Man?, don't make me laugh that wasn't a man", Kai said as he pulled out his other katana, "That was a ghost", he said as to his annoyance and Molly's surprised the two pieces of the man slowly re-attached themselves via smaller chains, suddenly his body started to grow and twist as he towered over Kai and Molly, however while Molly was watching, Kai had a small grin on his face showing some excitement for the fight to come.
