"Don't you all agree?! That Naruto is the Old Man's~" Kurama, AKA; Nine Tails.
Summary: The fight between Tailed Beasts was misplaced. Naruto is in a fight for his life, but when it's all said and done, he must find a way to live with the times.
Rias was only trying to fight against Riser for her freedom, but when a horde of monsters begins to lay waste to her and her friends' home, they can't help but wonder, how does one survive in a battle between god's?

Naruto Uzumaki-the Savior of Konoha and defeater of Pein looked ahead with a set of narrowed eyes. His left eye had been lost in a fight four years ago against Sasuke Uchiha, and after he killed his lover he decided that his rival wasn't worth saving and ended him. And seeing as Sasuke was dead, he no longer had a need for his precious eyes anymore. Sealing the two eyes together with Fuinjutsu he was surprised to find that he had recreated what Tsunade called the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and with it he could call upon powerful black flames or a deadly illusion. The combined ocular abilities even allowed him to manifest a purple battle Avatar he learned was called the Susanoo.
But that's besides the point. The eye hadn't remained a normal Sharingan for long and soon evolved into a eye he knew all to well from his fight against Nagato, a Rinnegan. After doing some digging and looking himself, he learned that the Uzumaki clan was in fact a branch clan of the Senju Clan, and that both clans were descended-or at least said to be-from the Sage of the Six Paths. The same could be said for the Uchiha, but they never detailed it specifically to them. Anyways, he ended up with a single Rinnegan that had six tomoe in the inner ripples of the eye.
Admittedly the Rinnegan he had awakened using Sasuke's ocular prowess had more abilities than he remembered as he found himself able to switch places with objects or people from a short distance, Hinata would have called it a superior form of the Substitution Jutsu academy students used, but this went way beyond that. He had been in a bit of a pinch, the Masked Madara had revived-plundered the graves of those who had earned their eternal rest, and forcefully brought his own kin-the former Jinchuuriki's back to life as mutated and twisted pawns. Their eyes now bearing a Rinnegan in their right eye and a Sharingan in the left, turned into the man's paths so as to control them better.
As he, Bee and, the Reanimated Jinchuuriki clashed, the two Tailed Beast hosts had found themselves slowly being pushed back by the Seven Jinchuuriki and Masked Man, their powers slowly being brought to heel by their enemy. It was while he and Bee were combating the former Jinchuuriki that his new lover, Kiyomi (Who was that pain in the asses Sasuke's twin sister, he had a crush on her but settled for Hinata as he feared she wouldn't reciprocate his feelings) appeared in a flash, kicking away Yugito from striking him from behind as he blocked Utakata while Bee stopped Han.
Tobi, as he begun to call himself-again-growled as he looked at the three of them, "Kiyomi Uchiha, with what happened to your elder twin I would have expected you to harbor some form of hatred in your heart for the Nine Tails jinchuuriki, but the fact you ended up with him as your own lover, disgusts me." he spat at her. This Masked man is shown to be wearing a white mask with a purple tint that covers the entire upper half of his head. The mask's design resembles a combination of the Sharingan and Rinnegan, consisting of a ripple pattern with three tomoe around the center, two of which act as the mask's eye-holes.
He wears a pair of black pants and gloves, with a white form-fitting shirt underneath. Over this he wears a purple, high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half and has the Uchiha crest on the back. Around his waist he wears a simple, light-purple obi and a belt. Strapped to his back is a gunbai, now purple with black trimmings and black tomoe, connected to a black chain that runs up his right sleeve
Kiyomi snorted, "If it weren't for Naruto, I might have went down the very same path that Sasuke went down, a dark path full of hatred and pain. Do I miss my brothers, admittedly I do, but when those brothers not only kill the entirety of your clan and then try to kill you all for his so called revenge, then the both of them can go to hell. As far as I'm concerned, the names Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha are a stain on the Uchiha Clan and I could care less about them. All I know is that right here, right now, you are my enemy." she stated calmly as her eyes transformed from their original Sharingan form to their Mangekyo state, the eyes now sitting in her skull belonging to her elder brother Itachi granting her the full Eternal Mangekyo, and a rare Straight Choku Tomoe Pattern at that. Her Eternal Mangekyo taking the shape of three thin lines inwardly swirling towards the pupil and three thicker swirls in the same manner.
Kiyomi is a young woman with straight, ebony black hair reaching down to her waist, dark brown eyes, and a shade of red lipstick. As an Anbu member, Kiyomi wears a porcelain mask resembling a cat with three red stripes — one vertical stripe on the forehead and two horizontal stripes, one on each cheek. She also wears the standard Anbu uniform, consisting of black and grey armor, metal arm guards and a katana strapped to her back. She has the signature Anbu tattoo on her right shoulder.
"I see, so you would rather ally yourself with those who betray your own family than help bring rightful justice upon them, how pathetic." Tobi sneered.
"Hmph, it's like I said, I don't care about who did what or who killed who. Itachi did his mission, he explained that much to me before he died, and Sasuke, he ran a blade of lightning not just through Naruto's chest twice, he used a spear of lightning to try and cut me down. Do you really think I would give a damn about a brother who fulfilled his duty for his village or try and watch as your own twin kill those responsible for wiping out your family before trying to kill yourself? I don't think so. To me, the two of them are dead and buried, and I couldn't care less. I'm happy where I am, and right now, that is by Naruto's side." she said.
"He won't be for long." Tobi responded before looking to the two Jinchuuriki, "Eight Tails... Nine Tails... You shall be mine... And then I will achieve Project Tsuki no Me!" he declared, his eyes now glowing a sinister color behind his mask as he glared at the trio.
Naruto was covered in a golden cloak of raw tailed beast chakra, so his normal looks couldn't be discerned at the moment, but that didn't mean he couldn't speak for himself, "Guess again," he responded as he clenched a fist, "We aren't gonna let you have the Eight Tails or the Nine Tails!" he retorted.
However, it was here that Tobi gave a laugh, "You act as if you have a choice, your lives don't matter to me. All I care about is taking your precious beasts from you, and if that means I have to get a little serious to do it, then by all means, try to fight back. It's two beasts and a whore versus seven monsters, you can't hope to win." he said as he called upon a single tail of chakra from the hosts.
"Hold on, I thought that their Tailed Beasts were extracted from them?!" Bee exclaimed in shock.
The Eight Tails spoke up from within Bee, his voice communicating with Naruto telepathically, "I can only assume they were made back into Jinchuuriki after they were reanimated..." he said before humming in thought, "You know, the Tailed Beasts feel a bit different than before too...Be careful Bee!" he added as a thought.
Samehada, strapped the the Eight Tails Hosts back began to chatter as well, drawing the mans attention, "You too huh? This whole situation is giving you bad vibes?" he asked the sentient blade, "Best be careful for our lives, like the Eight Tails prescribes." he stated. The sword made a few more chirps and snarls and caused the shaded man to grin, "Samehada's ready to fight, that's fine by me! Alright! I'm totally raring to go. Are you ready Naruto?" and without waiting for an answer, the man leaps into the fray.
"Wait a second, Octo-pops!" Naruto calls out to him.
"Don't go charging in without a plan, these guys have a Rinnegan and a Sharingan, that means they can counter your every move!" Kiyomi shouts out.
However, Bee ignored the both of them and swiped Samehada at the green haired Jinchuuriki-Fu and nodded in acceptance as she easily dodged out of the way, 'Nice moves' he thought to himself as he hurled the blade at her, only for it to embed itself into a tree. With a quick spark of lightning, Bee threw a lightning cloaked sword at her from behind, 'Okay! She hasn't spotted my KO!' he thought to himself in satisfaction. However, the woman merely ducked her head down and avoided the blade.
Once again Bee was on the move and appeared behind another tree as she turned around to try and look for him. Throwing another blade Bee watched with a stunned look as she avoided his attack yet again, "What?! How can she dodge it when she didn't even see it?! Fool ya fool!" he cried out to himself. As he was trying to understand what had happened, Samehada climbed back to its master just as Naruto and Kiyomi landed nearby.
"That isn't gonna work." Kiyomi told him.
"The six paths have a shared eyesight, it's thanks to the Rinnegan." Naruto told him.
"What the hell does that mean?!" Bee demanded.
"It's like Nagato's Gedo Jutsu, all six of them can see what the other's see!" Kiyomi called out to him.
"Look out!" Naruto yelled as he moved Kiyomi out of the way by swapping her spot with a fallen trees position, "Damn!" the golden cloaked teen cried as he was burnt by the Four Tails lava Style.
"Oh shit!" Bee said as he grabbed Naruto, jumped off the tree and swiped up the Uchiha heiress and beat feet away, "Yugito's Rodent Hair Ball!' Bee said as he dipped and dodged the small fireballs.
"I couldn't help but notice that their chasing us!" Kiyomi said as she swiped one away with her sword.
"They're guided bombs! Let's beat a retreat without any qualms!" the man rapped out.
However, as he dodged, Bee had to lean out of the way as Yugito leapt at him and swiped at his head, only managing to cut his designer scarf in half. As she passed them, Bee dropped to the ground and hid them in a bush, "Damn, that was close." Kiyomi muttered, "She damn near broke my sword." she said before dropping it with a huff, "She cracked it so easily, now I'm down to Kunai and Shuriken until I can get a new one." she sighed.
"They must be using their visual prowess given to them by the Sharingan to enhance their Jinchuuriki abilities. Add on the linked eyesight from the Rinnegan and you have the ability to position them with more precision to time their attacks to their advantage." Naruto muttered.
"Bee, let me talk to Naruto!" the Eight Tails demanded.
Turning to the blond, Bee grinned with a 'Yo' as he held up a fist where Naruto put his hand to the older mans.
"What's up?" Naruto asked the Ox-Octopus hybrid.
"Naruto... They've got both their Tailed Beast powers and two forms of visual prowess. They probably know we're here. What do we do?" he asked the teen.
"We have no choice. We'll just have to stop each Jinchuuriki one at a time." he told the Eight Tails, "If it's the same as with Nagato, then they're all controlled by chakra." he said to the beast sealed into the Kumo nin, "They were manipulated by some type of black rod which were implanted across each body Pein controlled with each one acting as a chakra receiver." he said looking back at what he had saw.
"I see, so if we can extract or even destroy them, then this Gedo Jutsu would come undone. But, that's going to be a problem. I mean, it's hard enough landing a blow on them at all, much less to target small rods. Which irritates me cuz we don't even know where they are!" the Eight Tails complained.
"Is that it?" Bee asked silently as he looked to Yugito.
Looking through his hosts eyes, the Eight Tails couldn't see anything, "WHERE?!" he exclaimed.
"Look at Yugito's bosom, that'll clear up any confusion, Cuz right there you'll see a black protrusion." Bee told the two, though he didn't have to say it aloud, cuz it only made Kiyomi annoyed. "Not to cause a ripple, but at first I thought it was her-Gah!~" Kiyomi couldn't take it, so in the end she elbowed him in the face before he could finish.
"He's right, there's something implanted in her chest." Kiyomi said as her Sharingan located something out of the ordinary as the undead Jinchuuriki healed up.
'When their flaunting it's unappealing, but just a glimpse is such a good feeling." Bee thought to himself as he rocked back and forth.
"Listen, this battle is going to determine the future of the world, and that's what your focusing on?!" Kiyomi growled in annoyance.
"That's it!" Naruto exclaimed as he finally located what Bee was talking about, "Alright, I'll go check out the other's too!" he stated.
And with that, he leapt out of the bush.
"Naruto, wait no!" Bee said trying to stop him, but the teen was already gone from his position.
But it was too late, the Jinchuuriki had taken notice of him, their eyes focusing solely on Naruto as he rushed forward.
'If our attacks won't hit them and we can't catch them off guard, then that leaves only one thing we can do.' the golden teen thought to himself. It wasn't going to be easy, but he had to try. And with that, he caught the charging Four Tails Jinchuuriki host-Roshi, and grunted from the heat, "Man that's so hot!" he exclaimed as he held the older man's arm away from his body.
Chakra spun into existence in the palm of a chakra hand and Naruto slammed it into Roshi's chest with a yell of, "Rasengan!" and watched as it ground through the mans clothes before revealing the chakra rod implanted in his chest. Before he could fully destroy it though, the Five Tails Jinchuuriki host-Han leapt down and performed a powerful axe kick that sent Naruto flying away in the opposite direction.
"Got ya fool-ya foo-WHOA!~" Bee cried out as he leapt down and tried stopping Naruto from flying off into the distance, only to be dragged along.
"You guys are idiots!" Kiyomi yelled as she Hiraishined next to them as they came to a stop, "We need a plan, not just going out and attacking as if we can take them down. Don't forget, they're all Jinchuuriki, and they're immortal because of the Reanimation Jutsu." she told the two daft fools.
"Bee, we're at a disadvantage fighting them in the woods. Your field of vision in particular is narrowed! You get me, don't you, Bee?!" the Eight Tails proclaimed.
'Oh yeah...' Bee thought as he began to summon his full power.
"As if I'd let you call upon your Jinchuuriki powers, EIGHT TAILS!" Tobi yelled out, "KAMUI!"
"I won't let you control him, or any of us!" Naruto declared as his Rinnegan pulsed with power.
"Shit, Naruto look out!" Kiyomi yelled as she activated the Hiraishin Jutsu once again, only for the clashing of three different Space/Time Jutsu to explode-not literally mind you- as the energy from the warping of their reality displaced them and everything within a ten mile radius. Add onto the fact the clashing of three different Space-Time ninjutsu; Kamui (The masked Madara)-Amenotejikara (Naruto's Rinnegan)-Hiraishin (Kiyomi), and the group was effectively lost to the unknown.
In the end, when they were returned to a visible spectrum-their transportation lasted a few milliseconds at most-everyone was on the move. Kiyomi had kicked away Yagura as she flashed behind Naruto's original position. Naruto himself had swapped his old spot with the recovering Yugito's and appeared next to Tobi in an attempt to kick him, but Obito had managed to Kamui himself away and reappear a distance back as the two Jinchuuriki swapped positions once more as Bee smashed them back.
With Tobi and his reanimated Jinchuuriki pushed away for the moment, it gave Bee a chance to undergo his Tailed Beast Transformation where he was quick to rip up a chunk of the forest by his changing form, drawing the attention of thousands who were a great distance away.
A loud explosion ripped through the forest as Bee gave a roar, his warcry drawing attention from all corner's of the Underworld, though admittedly only two groups were able to see him. From their seats that they waited in for the Rating Game to start, Rias Gremory and the others who were trying to fight between Riser's Peerage as well as her own, they could only gawk at the creature's sheer size.
"Blast all this forest around us away!" the Eight Tails declared, ready for war.
Naruto and Kiyomi reappeared on Eight Tails' head as he roared down at the ground, "Eight Tails, that be me! Da rappin' Killer Bee! WHEEE!" Bee declared as he finished his transformation.
The roar unleashed by the Eight Tails shook the heaven's and rattled the earth, those who had never seen such a creature-they at fit thought it was a Yokai-but it's power was nothing they had ever seen or sensed before- were in shock, a monster as large and clearly as powerful as this one had awoken, but what caused it to rise, what kind of beast was it, and where did it come from? The thoughts ran through most of their heads, though many were reluctant to try and challenge such a creature.
Grayfia felt herself shaking in fright, this things power, it was off the charts, it held more power than she herself did at full strength. If she was called to fight this, could she even put up a fight. Sure the strong lived and the weak died, but right now the only thing on her mind was trying to understand what was happening.
Ajuka was shaking in the knees. He was able to sense this creature's power, but he knew just from what he felt, he would never be able to fight it. Hell it might as well have been a full on catastrophe by this things appearance alone! How in the world could anyone hope to fight this thing?!
However, things changed when it called out, "Hang on tight, don't fall to my might. Cause this fight is a go, so stick tight while I give a whirl!" and then proceeded to wrap itself up in a multitude of octopus-like tentacles. And before anyone could ask what the hell it had said, the monstrous beast began to spin. A bubble of dust and debris filled the air before the entire forest began to rip itself apart, explosions ripping through the air as the forest began to become uprooted for nearly a dozen miles in every direction, "Eight Tailed Beast Twister!" Bee yelled out loudly as the powerful winds forced themselves up towards the skies, tones of forest and stone flying into the atmosphere overhead.
The undead Jinchuuriki were ripped off their feet and forced into the air, dragged along the inescapable air current while Naruto gripped onto the Ox-Octopuses head as tight as he could while trying to keep his lover in his embrace at the same time. The multiple Royal Pillars of the Underworld from the Gremory and Sitri to the Phenex and Bael all watched in stunned awe as this unknown Beast tore apart untold acres of land all by itself before the sounds of destruction came to a stop and a thick cloud of dust filled the air.
Naruto shook his head and looked at Kiyomi, "You alright?" he asked her.
"Yea..." she said looking around in awe, "Wow, no way!" she said in amazement. Were all the Tailed Beasts this strong?
In the exact center of the dust cloud stood Bee in his transformed state, and spread out around him was a perfect circle of destruction that allowed him to fight on his terms. Naruto looked around, scanning the area for his deceased kin, and he soon spotted them lying down on the ground, "There they are, they're knocked out!" he said pointing at them.
"This is our chance, we have to seal them away!" Kiyomi exclaimed.
"I got this ya'll!" Bee said to them.
"You know a sealing Jutsu?" the two teens asked in somewhat shocked tones.
"It doesn't matter if those rods are controlling them or not!" the Eight Tails declared from Naruto's mind, "We'll just tie them up with Ink Clones!" he stated seriously.
"Sealing Jutsu: Octopus Hold!" Bee declared as his cheeks bulged before he spat out a large blob of black ink, the ink soon separating to form enough clones to grab each of the Jinchuuriki as they rushed at them and put them each in a strong headlock.
"That's it!" Kiyomi exclaimed.
"That's only one of my sealing Jutsu. It'll take three seconds for it to work too!" he told her grinning as the clones began to count down.
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"THREE!"
However, what was supposed to happen was the clones were supposed to fully cover them, what had happened was the exact opposite as Tobi reappeared and assumed full control over them and forced them to enter their second state and destroy the Ink Clones.
Naruto sighed, "Uh Octo-pops, was that supposed to happen?" he asked.
"Uh no... suffice to say it didn't work." he said normally, sounding a bit embarrassed about it.
Tobi gave a laugh as he looked up at them, his body seemingly floating halfway in the ground, "Nice try, but you don't really think I'd let you stop me now while I'm this far in the game would you?" he asked the trio before giving a commanding, "Go!" to his puppets. The Jinchuuriki couldn't disobey his orders and charged at the enemy.
"That asshole, he was hiding in the ground!" Kiyomi growled.
Bee went on the offense, trying to bring at least a couple of them down, but the smaller forms were extremely fast. Somehow Bee managed to grab a hold of Utakata, but unfortunately the slug began to expel immense levels of acid and slipped through his grasp as Bee opened his hand up with a yell.
"Shit, it's an acidic compound, Bee your skins melting!" Naruto yelled out in shock.
And unfortunately as Naruto and Kiyomi were trying to fight back and help Bee, some of the Jinchuuriki slipped into their guard and landed some blows on them, one being Yagura as he created coral on Naruto's back and pushed him off Bee's head.
"Shit, Naruto!" Kiyomi yelled.
But the enemy wasn't done yet, for Roshi was waiting on the ground, the earth literally turning into molten lava as the four tailed Jinchuuriki looked up at them, "Floral Mountain!" the elderly man declared.
"I got you-GAH!" Bee cried out as he caught Naruto just before the lava exploded up and caught his hands.
"This is not good! I didn't think they could go into Tailed Beast State in their condition!" the Eight Tails thought in horror. If this was true for all of them to enter the final transformation, then they were at a serious disadvantage. Bee was the only one opposing Madara/Tobi or whoever he wanted to be with full control over his Tailed hadn't had any success in transforming into the Nine Tails full form, and not only that, they were starting to run low on chakra too.
"Naruto, we need to retreat and regroup for now!" the Eight Tails exclaimed.
But before anything could be done, the lava calmed down enough to reveal a fully transformed Han appearing before them, the surprise catching them off guard as the Five Tails host called out, "Horn Hit!" and gouged one of his horns into the Eight Tails chest and sent him flying back with a roar of pain.
By now the dust had settled plenty to allow the people to observe a battle of the giants, the shock was unfathomable, the horror of such a battle being so close was unreal. They had no idea how to fight such monsters. These creatures were altering the landscape simply by moving around, and by the looks of it, this wasn't a ordinary battle.
Tobi snorted in satisfaction before jumping towards the down Eight Tails to claim his prize.
Naruto gasped as he watched the masked man dive down towards him, but unfortunately he was unable to move, and not only that, but Kiyomi had went missing as the Five Tails had stabbed Octo-Pops, "You bastard!" he yelled as he sent a chakra arm towards the man, only for him to dodge out of the way and land on the Eight Tails palm.
"Even if you are Jinchuuriki, seven to two is bad odds. For once I touch you, it'll be over, and I'll win!" he declared with a gloating tone.
However, as Tobi placed his hand on Naruto's face, help arrived just in time, "Uber Leaf Superhuman Hurricane!" came the bold call of one Might Guy, in the Eight Gates Formation, his foot lashing out at the mans head, only to go through it like a ghost.
At the same time, Kakashi Hatake landed by his student and picked him up where he quickly jumped away with a call of, "Not quite Madara!" and he landed several feet away.
"They used Naruto as bait and waited for me to materialize." Tobi said in observation, his voice not wavering in the slightest, despite how annoyed he was.
"Bushier-Brow Sensei, Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto said happily, boy was he glad to see them.
And just as he said this Kiyomi appeared in a flash, "Sorry bout that, had to deal with some issues of my own. That acid hurts like a bitch." she said as she tied a knot on a bandage located on her forearm.
"Two more joining the part isn't going to change a thing." Tobi told them, "Not against my visual prowess and the power of seven Tailed Beasts." he stated factually as he turned to look at them.
"We have three Sharingan, and a Rinnegan, we aren't lacking in those departments you know." Kakashi stated.
"That's right! And don't forget we have the Noble Blue Beast of the Leaf as well." Guy added seriously.
"Well, while I'm glad you both came, but can one of you rid my back of this damn coral!?" Naruto cried out.
However, before anything could be done, the earth began to shake causing the group to turn, "What the hell!" Kakashi exclaimed.
"Shit, it's Five Tails, and he's charging at us at full speed!" Naruto cried out as he tried to get up, only to stumble, "Damn, I can't move!"
"Leaf Rock Crush!" Guy called out as he smashed his elbow into the teens back and obliterated the coral.
"Gee thanks!" Naruto grunted as he landed on his hands and knees.
Continuing it's charge the Five Tails didn't slow down, and then leapt up into the air, "He's after the Eight Tails!" Kakashi said seriously.
"I'm real sorry eight-o! You okay?" Bee asked his partner.
"We hare pain remember? So are you alright Bee?" the Tailed Beast asked instead.
Before anything could be done, Tobi sighed and held up his hand, calling upon a chakra chain that wrapped around the Five Tails neck, the Horse crying out as it was brought to the ground in an instant. Seeing this, Kakashi shook his head in confusion, "Wait, was it trying to attack him?" he asked himself.
'So painful~'
Hearing this, Naruto felt his eyes widen as he looked at the Five Tails in shock.
'I can't believe, I'm letting him...'
"Why you!" Bee growled as he clenched his fist in an attempt to turn the masked man to red paste in his palm.
"He's done it." Guy said.
"Not quite Guy Sensei." Kiyomi said as she pointed at the chain, "Look." she said.
And just as she said that, Tobi walked out of the clenched hand as if he hadn't even been in the clenched hand of a Tailed Beast as powerful as the Eight Tails. Tobi ignored them as he focused his chakra through the chain, the Five Tails form visibly shrinking and losing its power as it reverted back to the second transformation, "A tighter leash aught to keep you in line." he sneered at it.
"But why is he bottling up the Tailed Beasts power?" Guy asked in confusion.
"I don't know. He doesn't seem to have the Tailed Beast completely under his control." Kakashi guessed.
"Hey, did you hear that Naruto? That voice?" Bee asked telepathically.
Naruto nodded, "Yeah, I did." he responded.
The Eight Tails sat up with a groan, "That was the Tailed Beast... Five Tails' voice." he told them as Tobi released his hold on the suppressed chakra beast, "We Tailed Beasts have emotions and it pains me to see one of my kind treated like that!" he said in clear frustration for his brethren's treatment.
"Arg! Now you get mad?!" a deeper and darker voice demands, one that was neither Five or Eight Tails, one Naruto knew intimately.
Nine Tails...
"It's always been the same with every single Shinobi who has kept us as pets!" the Nine Tails growled in frustration, "Eight Tails, you and that brat Bee are a special exception." he snorted in contempt from the seal.
Eight Tails snorted in amusement, "I wonder about that Nine Tails..." the Eight Tails spoke to the fox.
"Wait a minute, the Eight Tails can speak to the Nine Tails?" he asked in confusion.
Ignoring the blond, the Eight Tails continued to talk, "I know you Nine Tails. You-" he went to speak, but was interrupted by the fox who growled in annoyance, "You talk to much!" he stated angrily, "By the way, given the number of tails you have, aren't you the next most powerful after me, Eight Tails?" the fox demanded, "Hurry up and finish this, I'm going to take a nap!" the fox stated.
This annoyed the Eight Tails more than words could describe, "Don't decide who's stronger or weaker based on the tail count! You've always been like this! That's why that tanuki One Tail really hates you!" he stated before growling in annoyance, "Hey, are you even listening to me, you fool?! Don't you dare play possum, you fox!" the Eight Tails demanded.
With only a growl of annoyance, the fox simply answered in a way that said he was in fact all but ignoring the Eight Tails, which somehow Naruto found humorous, "The Eight and Nine Tails are fighting." he said answering the confused look Kiyomi gave him.
"Tailed Beasts can talk to other Tailed Beasts mind-to-mind, but it's a real rare thing, of the amazing kind." Bee told Naruto telepathically.
Once again, Naruto laughed. Kakashi smacked him on the back of the head, "Quit your babbling Naruto. The enemies coming, so don't let your guard down just cause me and Guy are here." he told the teen, "We need to confirm which one uses which jutsu of the six paths, though with the count, I'm not to sure of the odds we might find." he said as he looked at the second state jinchuuriki.
"Listen, I have a hard enough time remembering peoples faces. These guys all look the same to me!" Guy exclaimed, "But yea, if it shows us which jutsu is which, count me in!" the jonin declared.
"Lightning Blade!" Kakashi called out as he charged ahead.
"Eight Inner Gates: Sixth Gate of Joy-Open!" Guy called out as a blast of chakra was expelled from his body. As the two jonin raced ahead, the reanimated hosts barreled forward and collided with them, however it was apparent that something was wrong from the start as three managed to slip past the two men as they knocked back four of them in time, "Three headed your way guys!" the Green Beast called out.
"We're on it!" Naruto called out as he formed a Rasengan in his hand.
"I see them!" Kiyomi stated as she formed a ball of fire in her own hand.
"Three is better than what we faced before, and I'm more serious now too, hard-core!" Bee rapped out.
As the two groups clashed, Kakashi's memories were trying to pull out a plan to fight against them, but he couldn't think of anything. As he was trying to cut down one of the hosts, he grunted in pain as a tail from the Six Tailed Beast host knocked him away before the Seven Tails Host kicked Guy back as well. Guy rolled back to his feet and shook his head, "I don't get it, they aren't using Pains Jutsu, what's going on?" he asked in confusion.
"It's probably cause they can't, or maybe HE can't." Kakashi informed Guy.
"Or maybe he just doesn't want to waste his chakra trying to use such taxing techniques, which we already know and are able to counter." Guy pointed out.
"Yeah, you're right. It takes an enormous amount of chakra to completely control seven tailed beats with ones visual prowess." Kakashi agreed.
"Well I gotta hand it to you Sensei! You finally figured it out just like we did." Kiyomi said smashing a fireball into the Four Tails face.
"Kakashi Hatake, he has very discerning eyes." Tobi thought to himself before he chuckled, "Well then, let's just power up a little bit shall we?" thought the man. With loud roars, a powerful shockwave blasted out from the Four and Six Tails' spots as Tobi smirked under his masked, "There, let's see how you handle two of them this time." he said as the two Tailed Beasts instantly transformed into their true state, the civilians and nobles of the Underworld stumbling back as the earth rocked under the sudden weight of the two monsters.
As he landed on his back, Naruto's transformation died down. With his chakra cloak gone, it revealed a young man that stood at six foot three with red hair and blue eyes. He wore a torn and tattered white jacket that had a orange collar, the cuffs of the sleeves being the same color. He wore orange pants with a blue stripe down the legs and black sandals. Around his forehead was a black headband with the Leaf insignia on it.
Shaking his head he gazed at the Tailed Beast, "Damn, we have to distract them with Nine Tails Chakra and clones." he aid.
"I don't think it's going to be that easy Naruto." Kiyomi said standing back on her feet.
"Well how else are we supposed to go after the masked bastard?" Naruto asked her.
"We have to subdue the Tailed Beasts first, they take priority, the Masked Madara can come later once we deal with these guys." she responded.
"Not only that, but you can't make anymore Nine tails Chakra Shadow Clones. If you do then the Nine Tails will take all of your own chakra and you'll be done. And you know that ain't no fun." Bee told him.
"Bee... have you still not noticed?" the Eight Tails asked curiously, "I thought you bumped fists with him." the hybrid said, "Given the number of clones he already produced, Naruto should have been half dead or close to death long ago. The fact that he's not means Nine Tails stopped taking Naruto's chakra a while back. Right, Nine Tails?" the oxen-octopus asked, now turning his attention to the redhead on his chest.
Despite the fox still ignoring him the Eight Tails continued to speak, "I don't know what happened between you two, but..." the Eight Tails trailed off, while the Nine Tails however was looking to the recent past.
"Hey! Ya know what, Nine Tails... I believe I'm gonna come after all that hate that's inside of you, too, someday." the redhead said grinning as he looked into the pinned foxes eye, having had a surprisingly serious heart to heart about how the world would always revolve around hatred, much like Sasuke had before Naruto killed him.
"And just who the hell are you to decide.. that having a Tailed Beast makes me feel despair like that?"
Regardless, while the boy's words were touching, the fox wasn't fully convinced by his host.
A snarl coming from the Six Tails as it drew its head back caused Naruto to look up just as the slug beast spat out a virtual mountain of pink goo. Guy cocked his head to the side, "What the hell is that?" he asked.
"It doesn't matter what it is, we don't know what it is so don't let it touch you Guy!" Kakashi stated.
As this was happening, the Four Tails leapt at the Eight Tails and landed by its tails where it reached down and grasped a tentacle, and then throws it up and over its head before slamming the hybrid down hard to the ground, the redhead crying out as he forced himself to stick with chakra. Kiyomi had once more Hiraishined away, and she was now starting to have trouble using the Fourth's Jutsu, despite having great knowledge of seals, she wasn't as proficient as the Second-who invented it-nor the fourth; who perfected it.
Unfortunately, this had the side effect of throwing Naruto-who wasn't able to stick to the body of the Eight tails in time-off the hybrid and into the air, where he quickly approached the open maw of the four tailed gorilla. Summoning the chakra cloak again, Naruto barely managed to land on the teeth and stop the upper jaw from crushing him.
Within the seal, the Nine Tails cracked a eye open. His interest was now piqued.
As the slug continued to spit out the pink wave, Kakashi and Guy continued to hop back, intent on staying away from whatever this unknown sludge was made of. Kiyomi was at the rim of the treeline, sweating profusely as she felt her chakra reach its limits, she hadn't been much use this entire fight, and she was starting to feel helpless in helping Naruto and Killer Bee stop the other Jinchuuriki. The three of them had been fighting for three days now, and even she was starting to think this battle wasn't ever going to end.
Was there really no hope for them?
As they leapt back again, Guy spotted something that caused him to cry out in shock, "Kakashi, Naruto's in trouble! We gotta help him!"
"We've got our own problems Guy! We need to help ourselves first!" he pointed out.
"Yes I know." Guy agreed.
"Well don't look back now, we're surrounded!" Kakashi grunted.
And as he said this, a hoard of red/black hands burst from the earth behind the duo before the hosts under Tobi's control shot them at the two jonin. Not only that, as they leapt past a tree, the two finally discovered what the pink goo was, as it came into contact with a tree and immediately dissolved it to sludge.
"Well at least we know what the sludge is! Any idea's!" Guy gasped out in shock.
"Yea, don't die!" Kakashi barked out.
"We have no choice, we have to split!" Guy said.
"I like your thinking Guy. You take the goo, I got these things back here." he said as Guy nodded. Coming to a stop, Kakashi created a shadow clone next to him, "There's no time to waste, let's go!" he said as he and the clone charged forward while Guy leapt at the goo before him, "Lightning Cable!" Kakashi called out as a beam of lightning shot out both his and the clones hands where it connected in the middle. Charging ahead, the two cut through the swathe of chakra hands and cleared them away.
"Sixth Gate of Joy: Open!" Guy yelled as he reopened the gate and thrust a hand forward towards the pink goo and yelled out, "Asakujaku!" where a blast of flame exploded off his fist and burned away most of the slime.
"Here comes the next wave!" Kakashi called back.
"Yea, over here too." Guy said in agreement.
"Let's wrap this up, we need to help Naruto." Kiyomi said as she shun-shined next to her sensei, "I'm almost out of chakra, i can't even use Hiraishin anymore, most of it's been used moving across the battlefield against these guys and who knows what else I got into a fight with these last few days." she said before spitting out a small glob of blood. She couldn't keep pushing herself like she was, at the rate she was going, she'd end up dead soon. She wasn't like her master or her lover, damned powerhouses.
Naruto was lucky that the Four Tails was right on top of Bee, cuz if he wasn't then shit might have gotten real bad, real quick. As it stood, the Eight Tails wrapped the monkey up in his tentacles, "Naruto get outta there now!" he roared at the teen as the monkey went to eat him, but was stopped as Naruto caught himself between its teeth.
"NARUTO!" Kiyomi cried out in worry.
"I-I, can't move!" Naruto ground out as he tried to pry the jaws of the red ape open.
"Hey! Let Naruto go ya monkey!" Bee commanded.
Back within the seal, the fox watched silently, not wanting to reveal his presence to his host or to the others.
However, the Eight Tails was more than perceptive of what was going on, "Nine Tails, you need to help Naruto out, before it's too late." he told the fox.
"I'm not like you, Eight Tails. I don't keep wagging my tails at my jinchuuriki time after time." the fox sneered back.
This angered the hybrid, "Are you saying you don't care what happens to Naruto?" he demanded.
The fox remained silent as he stared at the cage that held him back. The mere fact that he was even speaking to the Eight Tails about such a thing reminded him of what transpired between him and Madara, the day he had been subjugated by his visual prowess and forced to fight that damned Hashirama Senju was enough to make him livid, "Humans are always saying... the same thing... one after the other... And now this brat? How dare these Shinobi... I'll bet even he's the same..." he growled out, "Even though, he took quite a lot of power from me... Even though he's just... He's just... Just what is he anyway?" the fox growled to himself.
Outside, Naruto was struggling to move the monkey's jaws up so he could free himself, but it was no use. Well, it would have been if Bee hadn't yanked on the upper horn causing the Monkey to fully open it's jaws where Naruto fell into his mouth with a cry of shock.
'Naruto... I've watched you all these years... seen all that you have done... you should already know. It doesn't truly matter what you try to tell a Tailed Beast... Your true feelings won't be transmitted to us.'
As this was happening, Madara hummed as he looked around, and then he chuckled to himself, so that's where he vanished too was it, to easy!
"Yo, it's time to unlock the noose! I gotta get Naruto loose! Fool Ya fool!" Bee cried out.
"So there you... I will just pull you in, Four Tails and all." he said as he raised a hand and called upon his chakra. Around the Four Tails neck, a shock of chakra expelled before a collar formed around the red gorilla's neck before it linked to the masked mans palm.
"Not good! Get outta there! Open your trap!" Bee yelled out, "Naruto, in a snap!"
The Four Tails was growling in anger, wanting to be freed and being compelled to obey the masked man into coming to him was pissing him to fuck off like never before. However, it came to a stop when all of a sudden the monkey seemed to gag, his stomach bulging as if he had overate something.
Probably a case of Naruto-gestion.
And as if proven right, the monkey began to hurl red white and orange... a lot of red white and orange. Tobi was stopped as he shook his head in confusion, "Huh?" he asked himself as he watched the wave of color pour out the monkey's mouth as he puked up thousands of Shadow Clones made in his stomach by the teen in question.
Bee only grinned, "Didn't expect so many Naruto on the plate! He's smart to make him expectorate!"
On the ground Naruto hook his head from his rough landing and he looked up. From what Son had said, the rod would move to his neck whenever his host transformed, but it would be well hidden. Tobi growled in annoyance, "You don't know when to give up do you?" he questioned as he released the chain, but this proved to be the wrong thing to do and Naruto once more called on his chakra cloak and vanished in a burst of speed. However, Tobi wasn't going to let the brat simply go where he wanted and forced the Monkey to attack.
Calling on several arms of Chakra, Naruto stopped the hand from closing around him before he shot a long arm to the base of Son's neck and grabbed the rod. And with that, he began to pull, 'It's moving!' he thought to himself as it began to come out of Son's neck.
"It won't be that easy I assure you!" Tobi said as he conjured up a chain that quickly wrapped around Naruto, "Those rods bind all they touch. They're stronger restraints than Nagato Peins Gedo Powers." he stated as he allowed more of his power out to subdue the child, "It is over, Naruto Uzumaki!"
"Naruto!" Bee cried out as he watched Naruto being chained up.
Now, back with Kakashi and the other two, they were running out of power themselves, "We need to retreat, we can't hold them off much longer." Kakashi stated.
Back in his seal, Kurama-as was the Foxes true name, revealed to Naruto by one Son Goku aka the Four Tails, the fox watched silently as his host tried to save the Four Tails and thought to himself, "In the end, it's always the same." he thought, but the memory of Naruto yelling how he'd be the leader, the Hokage of all things, popped into his head. This was followed by the memory of Naruto defeating the so called prodigy of the Hyuuga clan. After that it was his defeat against Sasuke when he tried to flee the village.
So many memories passed by, all of them showing how Naruto remained true to his word. Him having to kill Sasuke as a promise to Itachi due to his increasing madness and Kiyomi's sorrow being the final one as he shook himself of the past, "Hmph... Naruto, if you are truly serious about helping us and truly wish to do something for us Tailed Beasts... Just do what you've always done..." He thought to himself as Naruto struggled to pull the rod out, but that was why he left a Shadow Clone in Son's mouth to gather nature chakra.
For this very reason.
And with the clone moving through the slightly gagging Son's throat, it quickly located it's creator and slapped the inside of Son's throat and forced the rod out from the inside.
"Keep doing what you've been doing and prove yourself through your actions, Naruto!" the fox thought to himself, now fully confident in his hosts power, in his beliefs, in his very being.
And with a yell, and help from his shadow clone, the rod was ripped out from the Four Tails neck, "I got it!" he yelled out before slamming a Rasengan into it, shattering it to pieces so it could never be used again.
"That's right, that's the Naruto I know!"
Tobi growled in annoyance, "Damned Naruto, he pulled out the rod." he thought before he formed a string of seals, "In that case..." and he summoned the Gedo statue up out of the ground.
Naruto ended up crashing into Son's palm, but at the same time Naruto had been pulled into the Ape's inner mind, the chain's that once bound him shattering to pieces, "You did it!" the Bijuu praised.
Naruto huffed in exhaustion, but he still managed to look up and notice that Son wasn't entirely free, "What, why is that chain still there though?!" he exclaimed, "I did as you said and pulled out the rod, so why aren't the chains gone?"
Son looked down, "I guess this one won't come out. Not only that, the rod only binds my chakra to the Jinchuuriki's body." he explained to the teen, "But my Chakra itself, that masked guy owns through the Gedo Statue." Son said as a series of chains wrapped around Son and began to tug at him to try and devour the gorilla once more into the statue.
Naruto was livid, "You already knew that and you didn't say anything?! Then that means I didn't end up saving you at all!" he yelled out.
Son was stunned, "You really mean what you're saying?" he asked the redhead.
"Of course I do!" Naruto yelled out.
Looking down at him, Son was seeing something else, sensing a familiar presence. One he hadn't sensed in a long time, 'This kid... he's serious...' Son thought to himself, "I told you how you could stop me. But I didn't actually tell you how you could save me." he sighed out, disappointed in himself for not revealing the truth to Naruto.
"You should have just told me that from the beginning. Why can't you Tailed Beasts be more forward?" he asked Son, "Alright, what do I do?" he questioned as he got back on track.
"Before I tell you, there's something I want to pass on to you." he told Naruto.
"What?" Naruto asked.
"Hold out your hand..." he instructed as he raised his own fist.
"Huh, you're gonna give me something?" Naruto asked.
"It's something good. It will come in handy later one of these days. Now hurry up." Son urged as Naruto raised his own fist and connected his with the apes own, but he didn't expect for the Four Tails to channel his own power into him...
What an amazing gift...
Naruto grinned happily.
Outside, The Gedo Statue gave a rough yank and ripped Son from Bee's grip and devoured him once again, "The statue absorbed Four Tails. I guess that he still belongs to him." the Eight Tails said huffing in exhaustion.
Back on the ground, Naruto was back to his base state and standing over a reanimated Jinchuuriki that was immobilized from the loss of his Bijuu. Tobi snorted, "You look like you're about to pass out after stopping just one Tailed Beast. You cannot defy me!" he declared before raising a hand, "I shall take the precious Tailed Beasts that you possess." he stated as he pumped chakra through the other hosts.
Kakashi, Guy and Kiyomi began to stumble as the remaining Jinchuuriki began to undergo a full transformation where they soon revealed themselves to the world, towering over the three humans like angered gods. With the Bijuu out in the open, the people watching the battle were utterly terrified, the Satan's were trying to come up with a plan that didn't involve sacraficing themselves, but the four leaders weren't able to think of anything.
Images on the screens of the news networks that were telecasting the battle revealed a small party trying to fight them, but even they were having trouble subduing them. All because one man was controlling the monsters and trying to take control over the large one.
-Back with the ninja-
"W-What's going on?!" Kiyomi cried out as she took a step back.
"It seems Tobi has decided to take us seriously." Kakashi said with wide eyes.
"Uh, are we even able to fight back against these things?" Guy asked.
"This is bad, however you look at it. And you're all worn out..." Kurama said.
"Yeah, well.. just watch me." Naruto huffed.
"If you want me to lend you strength, I wouldn't mind Naruto." Kurama told Naruto as he sat behind the bars to his seal.
"You know, you sure have been chatty lately." Naruto huffed out to the fox as he entered his seal, "I'm glad you wanna lend me power, but before you do, there's something I wanna say to you." he said to the fox, "Thank you, for lending me your strength to fight against Son and this Masked Madara." he said genuinely.
"Don't thank me, it weird's me out!" Kurama declared, "I only did what I did because I would rather deal with you than with Madara!" he told the redhead, "Besides, thanks to this cage, I could only give you a tiny bit of chakra. I'm merely interested in watching you fight a little longer. That's right.. just to pass the time!" he told himself more than to Naruto.
"HEY! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO GET ALL WEIRD JUST BECAUSE I THANKED YOU?! AND YOU LOOK MAD ALL THE TIME! YOU REALLY NEED TO WORK ON YOUR ATTITUDE! I MEAN, YOU'RE ALWAYS LIKE-" he stopped his rant when he noticed that the fox has stuck a fist through the bars.
"Just hit my chakra with yours..." Kurama ordered him.
"Oh man, Chakra tug-of-war again?" he asked.
"Idiot, we don't have to do that now! Although it's not like I got anything else to do, so we could if you want!" Kurama stated. However, Naruto merely smirked as he lifted his fist and placed it against Kurama's own and chuckled, the dark laughter from Kurama showing that he had finally gotten through after so long.
Back outside, Naruto cracked his neck, "Alright, let's do this Octo-pops." he said ready for battle.
"Right, we'll fight as a two-man team with me taking the lead. Listen Naruto, you just cover my back agreed?" Bee asked the teen.
"Against Six Tailed Beasts, you can't go in front when you can't undergo Tailed Beast Transformation. It's suicide." the Eight Tails said to the redhead.
"Octo-pops, you and Eight-o are both injured right now. There won't be any leading, or following. We're going in together!" Naruto declared causing Bee to do a double take.
"Hey Naruto..." the older man began.
However, what Naruto said next confirmed what Bee had thought, "Since we're both already in two man teams!"
"Hold on, Naruto. Don't tell me you and Nine Tails..." the Eight Tails exclaimed in shock.
"I've still got tons of reserve power to use." Naruto said as he placed a hand on his seal. The memory of how his journey as a ninja playing in his mind as the seal started to unlock itself, Iruka-sensei's acceptance of who he was as a person had set his life into motion for what it was now, and deep in the seal, Naruto stood in front of the seal as it neared it' final locks, "You are no longer the Demon Fox." he told Kurama who growled at him, "You are a partner of a citizen of the Hidden Leaf Village!" he said as the locks finished opening and the gates swung open, "Kurama!" he called out, "Let's do this!"
"HAH!" Kurama grinned in excitement.
Suddenly, a blast of chakra expelled itself from Naruto, enveloping him in a aura of unstoppable power. Out of the seal, Naruto's cloak reactivated itself, but he was obscured from sight as he underwent a new transformation of power.
"Naruto, don't tell me you-" Bee went to ask, only to stop as he sensed the Jinchuuriki begin to call on more chakra than they previously had before, large obsidian colored orbs forming between the open maws of six full tailed beasts.
"This is really bad." Guy said in worry.
"What do we do, I can't teleport them away, I'm out of chakra!" Kiyomi said in worry.
"Guy, Kiyomi, don't move. I'll blast them away with my Kamui." he told them as his eye morphed into the Mangekyo state.
"There's to many, that won't cut it!" Kiyomi told her sensei.
"If that's the case, then I'll just have to, open the Eighth Gate!" Guy stated.
"No you fool! If you do that then you'll die!" Kakashi growled.
By now everyone that was watching was getting more and more worried, were they all doomed to die today by these unknown monsters? Was anyone going to save them from utter annihilation?
"Naruto, it looks bad over there, there's six Tailed Beast Bombs in the air pointed right at them!" Eight Tails exclaimed.
"Yea I know, I'm on it!" Naruto declared as the six chakra monsters released the explosive balls of raw energy, only for a golden beam of light to fill the air and seemingly swat them away as an explosion of dust filled the air.
The people that watched this almost fell to their knees in happiness. They had been saved, but by what, by who?
"What was that?!" Guy exclaimed.
"S-So fast!" Kiyomi said as she covered her face.
Kakashi gasped in shock. There was no way, no way that he could have done it.
~XxX-Play: Naruto Shippuden Soundtrack; Tailed Beast Transformation-XxX~
A figure enveloped in golden light stood before him, a white cloak with red flames embroidered at the bottom, the words "Yondaime Hokage" Stitched into the back vertically stood before Kakashi as he gasped out in shock, "S-Sensei!" before the image faded away to reveal one Naruto Uzumaki with a cloak of golden chakra standing before him.
"N-Naruto..." Kiyomi gasped out.
Miles away in the distant mountain range, the scattered Tailed Beast Bombs crashed into the ground and bounced up before crashing into several of the mountains, and then exploded. The power unveiled reaching the heavens allowing the citizens of the Underworld to understand that if they challenged these monsters, they would be annihilated. Rias and her friends all took a step back as their jaws fell to the dirt, "There's no way, how the hell do you fight against something like that?!" Rias cried out in terror.
These weren't ordinary Beasts, these... these were demons!
"The mountain's!" Kakashi gasped.
"So this is the power of a Tailed Beast?" Guy said in shock.
"What power?!" Kiyomi said in shock.
"Damn, he deflected them all. In that case!"
A surge of chakra and the Tailed Beasts leapt forward with snarls and roars of their own. Kakashi gulped back a bit of fear and readied a Kunai while Kiyomi called on her Mangekyo, "Incoming!" Guy called out.
"Let's do this, Kurama!" Naruto called out before a blast of golden energy blasted out from his body and begun to coalesce and take shape, and was soon charging away from the citizens of the Underworld and towards the rampant Tailed Beasts in the form of a gigantic Nine Tailed Fox, "RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG~" the fox roared before it planted a foot and gave a backhand so mighty, it not only stopped his brethren s charge, but launched them back with wails of pain escaping them as they crashed into the ground.
The citizens of the Underworld were once more in a state of incredible shock. There was a Nine Tails out in the battlefield?! These were all YOKAI that were fighting then, how did they get so strong to cause such destruction?!
Bee looked on in shock, "Was Naruto able to pull off a Tailed Beast Transformation?" he asked in shock.
"That Nine Tails." the Eight Tails said in awe.
"What is going on?" Guy asked.
"This is..." Kiyomi gasped out.
"We're inside the Nine Tails Chakra!" Kakashi cried out.
Forming a clone, Naruto looked to it, "We need to find out where every last one of their rods are." he said as the clone started to enter Sage Mode.
"Just so you know, it's our First Tailed Beast Transformation and the link isn't perfect. We've got about five minutes!" Kurama told his host.
"That's plenty!" Naruto decided before he looked up and then made his avatar leap into the sky with a roar, "There's a whole bunch of you, so I can't be as gentle as I was with Son, so just bear with me alright!?" he called out as he landed on the Seven Tails and caused it to fall from the sky, but as they fell, the clone easily located the rod, but he also took notice of the Three Tails and spotted its rod soon after. Rolling up into a ball, the sound of a rolling screech filled the air before the turtle spun away as the Seven Tails and Nine Tails crashed into the ground where he had been moments ago.
Kurama gives a growl and raises a fist to attack, but before he can go through with the hit, the Six Tailed Slug arrives and swallows his fist, but also revealing the rod to the clone. With his fist trapped, the fox is unable to move, thus allowing the Three Tails to spin it's course back where it screeches its way towards Naruto, only to come to a halt as a set of familiar tentacles grab a hold if him. The sound of thundering hooves draws his attention and the Eight Tails snarls, "I'm not falling for that twice!" before unleashing a mighty left hook into the horses face causing it to crash into the ground and slide away.
Just as this happens, the cat of flame, Nibi comes racing in and leaps over the hybrid Eight Tails with a roar. Naruto growls as he rips his fist out of the Six Tails' mouth and grabs it by the throat, "TAKE THIS!" he roars as he slams the slug into the feline and hurls them away with a earthshaking crash.
A wave of sand crashes into Kurama but a roar of defiance blasts it away and Kurama swats the tanuki with six of his tails and knocks him into the now charging five tails that had recovered.
"Okay, I found every last one!" the clone calls out.
"This is, this is amazing." Kiyomi say in awe.
"It's like a all out monster smack down!" Guy exclaims.
"He's exceeded my expectations. I'll have to go after him like I mean to kill..." Tobi thinks as he watches the Nine tail fight against his pets.
A screech fills the air and the Three Tails frees itself and flies through the sky where it lands next to the gathering Tailed Beasts. Raising their heads, they begin to gather immense amounts of chakra. Creating a gigantic orb that is so large the ground implodes underneath them from the density of the attack forming above them. Guy points to the gigantic orb, "Hey uh, Kakashi, isn't that pretty big for one of those things?" he asks.
"They're pooling their power together to make a large one." Kakashi said in observation.
"Naruto, what now?" Kiyomi asks.
Naruto doesn't say anything. Instead he simply raises his hands and aims them in front of his body. The Avatar opens its jaws and begins to gather its own chakra, a gigantic orb of darkness forming before his own jaw and growing in size to match its brethren s own.
"An equal force to cancel theirs out, but he's never succeeded at that before." the Eight Tails said.
"He did it several times in training, but this time he's got it for sure!" Bee said confidently.
"Tailed Beast Bomb/Tailed Beast Bomb" Naruto and Kurama call out as they launch the gigantic ball of destruction as the enemy Tailed Beasts launch their own, the two spheres colliding in the middle of the clearing, massive shockwaves blasting outwards forcing Tobi to cover his face or else he'd lose his balance. The two orbs struggled for dominance, but eventually ended up shooting to the skies above before exploding, a blinding light filling the sky as the shockwaves ripped the earth up, flattened mountains and evaporated entire lakes in an instant.
"He aimed it low so it would bounce them up, which is good-but still it's big!" the Eight Tails said from within his tentacle wrapping.
"Nine Tails really is super Strong!" Bee says in amazement.
As this happened, six golden tails shot out and grasped the necks of the Tailed Beasts, a clone inside each tail, "Alright, I've grabbed the rods!" the clone said.
"Let's do this Kurama! Pull'em all at once! We're gonna free them all, and save everyone." he said boldly. But before he could do anything, his consciousness was pulled away and into a unknown location, and surrounding him, were all the Tailed Beasts, even Octo-pops and Eight-o were there!
"We've been waiting." a voice said.
"W-The same thing happened with Son..." Naruto said looking around.
"What's goin on Eight-o, this is not ok yo!" Bee rapped.
Before Bee could get his answer, a blond woman Naruto recognized from the earlier confrontation-Yugito-spoke up, "Not quite, you did make it to this plane this time around." she told him, "Just as the Four Tails predicted."
"This isn't where Four Tails was... Now that we are fully linked, you're able to enter deeper into the Tailed Beast Psyche Plane. Look, there are Jinchuuriki here too. Plus, Four Tails was bound by Chakra Chains" Kurama said nodding his head to the humans.
"Well I don't get it, but everyone's here, and there's no fighting or chains. It's not as crazy as it was last time." Naruto said.
"This only happened after Four Tails and Roshi called all of us here. Naruto, it's all thanks to you." The Five Tails Jinchuuriki said softly.
"That dumbass in the mask cannot penetrate this deep into the seals." Kurama growled.
"So, this is where Son originally was right?" Naruto asked looking around.
"That's right." the green haired Jinchuuriki said nodding.
Before anyone could say anything else, Son's voice spoke up as he appeared in the group among them, "Make sure to tell him. Oh, and I was also able to give him just a tiny bit of my chakra." Son said as he formed, his old Jinchuuriki sitting on his head, "Do all of you still remember what Old Man Six Paths told us at the very end?" he asked, "Well, I think this kid is it. That's how it feels to me... I wager he'll probably come here to try to help you guys too. If he does, do good by him, understand? I'm being pulled back into the statue... so goodbye for now." Son said softly.
"Four Tails... perhaps just maybe... do you think that you and I could've traveled a different path too?" he asked.
"Heh, this coming from you, who is more stubborn than old Tsuchikage Onoki? Have you gone soft after death?" he joked with the redheaded man, "Well, maybe if you tried to remember my name... right when you first became my Jinchuuriki." he grumbled as his and Roshi's form began to glow a bright color.
"No, I still haven't gone soft enough to start calling you by you name. Not even after being your Jinchuuriki for over forty years..." Roshi said softly to the red gorilla, "But then again, I haven't forgotten it either." he told his Bijuu.
Their form was starting to vanish, being ripped away by the Gedo Statue.
"Alright then, say my full name now, spiel and all." Son said.
Roshi gave a light chuckle and smiled happily at his former prisoner, "Is 'Son' good enough?" he asked just as their bodies burst into small particles of light.
The Two Tails spoke up, "Naruto, step forward and extend your hand. We shall fulfill our promise to Four Tails, or rather Son Goku." she told him in a gentle voice.
The tanuki spoke up first, "It's been awhile, but I'm sure you remember me. I'm Shukaku!" the One Tail exclaimed.
"I am Bunpuku young man, I thank you, for healing these great beasts of their burden." the monk bowed.
"I am Matatabi." Matatabi spoke softly.
"Ni Yugito!"
"I'm Isobu, we've met before huh?"
"I am Yagura, the former Fourth Mizukage." Yagura spoke up.
"I am Kokuo!"
"I'm Han."
"Me, I'm Saiken!"
"We meet again, I'm Utakata."
"Lucky Seven Chomei!"
"The names Fuu."
"And I'm Gyuuki."
"You already know me, the rapping killer Bee!"
Standing before the assembled Tailed Beasts, the single Rinnegan wielder watched as the assembled Bijuu stacked their limbs upon one another and Naruto was Nudged forward by one of Kurama's tails, thus understanding their intent. Calmly walking to the stacked appendages, Naruto raised his fist, and placed it on the base of the stack. As he watched, Kurama was reminded of his earliest of memories.
~XxX-Flashback: 5,000 years ago-XxX~
Somewhere in Fire Country, history had just been made.
Underneath the surface of the Earth, there was cave that was occupied by ten beings of great power. Nine of the powerful beings were animals, or at least they looked like animals, all of them were larger than they were meant to be and some of them looked like a cross between multiple animals. A sand raccoon with one tail, a blue fire cat with two tails, a turtle-crab with three tails, a red and green gorilla with four tails, a horse-dolphin with five tails, a white bipedal slug with six tails, a green caterpillar like beetle with seven tails, a ox-octopus with eight tails and a kitsune with nine tails. Surprisingly none of these nine creatures were the most powerful in the room that honor belonged to the man in the circle of the strange creatures, standing in the middle of strange symbols.
The man in the center of the circle had pale-red hair that went down to his shoulders, spiky with chin length braid down the front of his left ear along with a long goatee that went down to his waist. Horns protruded from his head above his purple-rippled eyes and a red ripple marking on his forehead. The man was grey skinned, wearing a white, full-length kimono with a pattern of six black magatama around a high collar, beneath which he wore a necklace which was also made up of six magatama. On the back of his kimono was a larger ripple-like marking with a pattern of nine magatama arranged in three rows of three beneath it. The man was old, judging by the wrinkles on his skin, he was in his late eighties early nineties and yet, he still looked healthy for someone his age. The shakujō in his hand made it obvious he was some sort of traveler.
The man was speaking with the several tailed-beasts. Speaking to them with no amount of fear in his voice that any lesser man would have had, but what did he have to fear, he created them, "I will not live much longer. Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son Gokū, Kokuō, Saiken, Chōmei, Gyūki, and Kurama. Even though you will be far apart, you'll always be together. Eventually the day will come when you will reunited again, each of you with a unique name and a different form than before." he declared, the young fox cocking his brow in confusion as he didn't understand the Old Man's words-tears almost brimming in his eyes, "And unlike when you were inside of me, you will be guided down the right path. I hope you learn what true strength is… …Before that time comes…" the Old Man declared, small tears falling from the young fox's eyes at the Old Man's words.
~Flashback End~
As the memory faded, Kurama watched as the silhouette of where his creator stood eventually changed to that of Naruto, the Old Man enveloping him as if he were a shadow, a small smile gracing his lips, 'It took a long time, Old Man...' the fox thought to himself, the wise monks words finally clicking into place as he finally grasped his message.
Back in the real world, Naruto gave a roar, Kurama following shortly after as his roar shook the heavens, "RRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGG~ DON'T YOU ALL AGREE?! THAT NARUTO IS THE OLD MAN'S~!" he declared loudly before he began to pull out the rods.
"Hell yea!"
"Yes!"
"Y-Yup!"
"Yeah!"
"Indeed!"
"Definitely!"
"Of course!"
And with that, the rods were all removed, and the Tailed Beasts lay in defeat on the ground, Naruto's Tailed Beast Transformation dissolving away where he and the others of his group all look ahead at Tobi, "Nicely done, Naruto!" the Eight Tails tells Naruto.
"I never thought that you would ever be able to completely control Nine Tails. However, it appears a though you still cannot maintain it for long, so same old, same old." he said as a series of chains shot out of the Gedo Statues mouth and pierced various points of the downed Tailed Beasts and quickly dragged them back into confinement.
"It's not the same old same old. Because here and now, I'll be coming straight for you! And I won't hold back anymore, not after what I had to do to make it this far!" Naruto declared.
Tobi sneered under his mask, "Then come and get me." he challenged.
So yea, this was a work in the making, took me some time but I finished it. PLEASE ADOPT THIS CONCEPT CUZ I WILL NOT BE WRITING IT.
