After thePowerpuff Girls Z rescued Professor Utonium and Ken, the three of us descended from above.

As the team leader, Blossom broke the silence first: "Thank you, Rowdyruff Boys ..."

Although the atmosphere was somewhat awkward, I still forced a smile and said, "You're welcome. Now, could you please tell us what's going on with our bodies?"

We just wanted to get answers quickly so we could leave.

Professor Utonium, noticing the eager look in our eyes, leaned in and grabbed my hand, "Were you hit by the beam of chemical compound γ?"

Hmm? Chemical compound γ should be the formal name for the golden light that hit us, right?

Just as I was about to ask more questions, Professor Utonium continued incessantly, "Chemical compound γ is a new substance I created by irradiating compound Z with γ rays. It can cause the irradiated life form to grow to a certain stage (for humans, it's about 2-3 years old), enhance human motor skills and physical strength, and also has the ability to integrate with external energy sources!"

Beside us, Bubbles asked, "γ rays, what is that?"

Ken immediately jumped in, "γ rays are a type of electromagnetic wave. They have a very short wavelength (high energy), and their characteristics are similar to X-rays. Gamma rays have a range of several hundred meters in air (meaning they have high penetration ability), and an 8 cm thick lead plate can halve their intensity. Their tracks in a diffusion cloud chamber are almost invisible (indicating weak ionizing ability)."

Buttercup rubbed her head, "I didn't understand at all..."

I dug my ears on the side, flicking away the earwax on my fingers, "Why so much unnecessary chatter?"

Boomer asked somewhat awkwardly, "What should we do next?"

Butch suggested, "We need to find a way to revert to our original selves!"

Professor Utonium proposed, "How about you come back to the research institute with us?"

The three of us were shot with a strange gun by Professor Utonium, instantly reverting to our normal selves, each with an electronic watch added to our hands. The only difference was the colors—red, blue, and green.

At the same time, the mayor and Ms. Bellum also arrived. Professor Utonium approached the mayor and said, "Mayor, Ms. Bellum, these are the brave youths who saved my son and me."

No use being dazed anymore! I just wanted to make a run for it back to my hometown!

Just as I was thinking this, Bellum asked for our names, addresses, phone numbers, and other trivial details, jotting them down on her ipad. Then she said, "Starting tomorrow, you'll be guarding the peace of Tokyo with Powerpuff Girls Z!"

The three of us, along with the three girls, exclaimed in unison, "What?! What did you say?!"

What?! Is there something wrong with my ears?

Being inexplicably turned into lab rats is unlucky enough.

Now we have to partner up with our "favorite" enemies to guard the peace of Tokyo?

We're not going to do this thankless job!

Momoko spoke first, "I won't deny that they saved us, but we used to be enemies!"

Miyako also looked troubled, "Yeah, I don't want to!"

Karou s forehead bulged with veins as she spoke, "Why do we have to be with these brats..."

I immediately chimed in, "Exactly, we're enemies!"

Kagami said, "Don't be ridiculous!"

Shigeru added, "Who would want that!?"

On the side, Peach said, "But Rowdyruff Boys doesn't have any trace of dark aura in their body!"

...Silence for about 30 seconds...

The mayor took matters into her own hands, "Then it's settled~~"

Hold on a second! I pretended to be in a hurry, "But~ our homes are far from here! And our families will worry!"

Upon hearing this, Bellum immediately pulled out her phone and persuaded the families of me, Kagami, and Shigeru respectively, saying that due to our exceptional talents, we needed to further our education and would have to stay in Tokyo for a long period of time. She promised to cover all our tuition and other expenses.

So Bellum (forced) us to agree to three rules:

(1) No arguing or fighting with each other or the Powerpuff Girls.

(2) No damaging the laboratory.

(3) Attend school with Powerpuff Girls.

Well, there's no turning back now. Might as well make the best of a bad situation!

So we also made some demands:

(1) Provide us with a fixed monthly allowance and money (how else are we supposed to survive?)

(2) Give us a place to live.

(3) Allow us some leisure time.

The next day, we woke up and thought, "This apartment isn't bad at all. It's fully furnished, with high-quality facilities and good lighting.

But going to school with those girls... hmm."

Oh well, after changing into our uniforms and tying our ties, we started eating breakfast, enjoying the happiness of our new home and the delicious breakfast. But then, I glanced at the clock and saw it was 7:25 AM!

Damn it! We're five minutes away from being late! Who turned off the alarm clock!?

"Let's go!" I grabbed Kagami and Shigeru by their collars and rushed out of the apartment door!

Even though we ran at super speed, when we reached the school gate, the unforgiving sound of the bell rang in our ears,

Ding ding~ Ding ding~ Ding ding~ And our classroom, 2-B, was on the fifth floor!

At that moment, I had a gut feeling...

I shouted to my brothers beside me, "Jump!"

Kagami and Shigeru looked at each other in confusion, "Huh!?"

"Just do it, follow me and jump up together!"

Crash!

I shattered the window with one kick!

As I landed, the bell just finished ringing.

I exclaimed loudly, "Yesss! Safe on base!"

Kagami and Shigeru immediately jumped in through the window and bowed apologetically, "Sorry, we broke the window!"

The teacher and all the students, including the Powerpuff Girls, looked at us with surprise.

The teacher said, "Never mind about the window, the main issue is how did you get in!?"

I casually replied, "We jumped up from below~ because we were almost late~"

The students immediately started buzzing, "This is the fifth floor, is it really true?"

Kagami, still in his dumbfounded state, maintained his usual smile, "If you don't believe it, we can demonstrate it again!"

As Kagami spoke, he pretended to jump out of the window!

"Stop fooling around, Kagami," Shigeru said, taking out a broom from the locker to clean up the broken glass.

The teacher, still trembling, said, "No need for that~ no need~ you three, please come up and introduce yourselves on the stage!" He really didn't want any casualties at school!

I casually walked up to the stage, "I'm Yuzuhiko Shirakawa, from Sapporo," and wrote it on the blackboard: しらかわ ゆひこ (Shirakawa Yuzuhiko)

Kagami: "I'm Kagami Midou, from Kyoto," still wearing his signature silly smile... みどうカガミ (Midou Kagami)

Shigeru: "I'm Shigeru Kusama, from Nagoya," くさましげる (Kusama Shigeru)

After we finished writing our names, we bowed and left the stage.

The three of us simultaneously said to the girls next to us, " Pleased to meet you ~"

The girls also said in unison, "Hmm! Nice to meet you..."

Clearly, they still weren't giving us a warm welcome.

And so, the high school life of the six of us began like this...
