Pokemon Short 6: Gotta Dance!
On a bright and sunny day, Pikachu, Eevee, Mudkip, Lotad, Torchic, Treecko, Meloetta, Skwovet, Amaura, and Galarian Zigzagoon are playing in the treetops. Mudkip runs up on a branch as Lotad chases after him. Mudkip jumps out of the way, but Lotad ends up falling off the branch. And ends up getting himself stuck on the branch. The other Pokemon rush over to help Lotad out. Treecko however, is busy lying on the tree relaxing. Suddenly, he slips off and is sent flying over them, and catching everyone's attention. Soon, Treecko falls to where they are and the others grab him. In the process the branch bends down, allowing Lotad to free themselves. However, that ends up flinging everyone in the air. Lotad tries to catch each of them, and everyone falls flat on the ground. That causes the cliff to break weight, roll down the hill, and crash into the rocks.
Just then, something catches their eyes, they see a strange large building that looks like a stacked die, each of them is a different color with a platform sticking out. Then, there is a top area which isn't finished. The front of the building has a large red 'R' on it. Turns out, this place is actually a new Team Rocket HQ that Jessie, James, and Meowth have been building. It's actually close to being finished except for the top area.
Inside the building, there is a large party room decorated with streamers, a pinata, and there are tables with lots and lots of food. There's even an ice sculpture of Giovanni with Meowth. As of now, Jessie and James are about to take their leave.
"Now that our base has been beautifully built, we can bask in the carnival for the boss' complementary comments," James says.
Jessie turns to James, "And if he figures out what you just said, I'll be his right hand woman, you two will be his left hand losers."
Team Rocket chants, "Climbin' up the ladder, there is no one better than us."
"Though it does a number on the noise," Meowth says in tears.
Then Jessie hits him on the head with a pan, "You have issues, don't you?"
Then Jessie says, "James and I are to meet and greet the boss before his arrival to inspect our base. Think you can handle things while we're away."
"Whatever you say," Meowth says in pain.
With that, Jessie and James begin to take their leave.
"A wise answer," Jessie says.
"That would be my choice," James says.
Soon, Jessie and James leave the base to meet the boss.
Once they're gone, Meowth shouts, "Showtime!" And throws the pan away.
He then calls out, "Are those Whismurs ready?!"
At a small stage, the curtains open to reveal Seviper, Happiny, Cacnea, and Wobbuffet are on the stage with three Whismurs, each of them holding a pair of maracas. They all call out that they're ready, but the Whismurs feel uneasy.
The Whismur are mauve, bipedal Pokémon with a spherical body. Its eyes are black and shaped like plus signs, and it has a simple, wide mouth. Two small openings on top of its head act as its ear canals. Covering its ear canals are long, yellow-tipped flaps resembling rabbit ears. It has stubby arms and yellow-tipped feet that lack toes and have plus-shaped markings underneath. Above its small, plug-like tail is a yellow, crescent marking. There is a hole in the center of its tail.
Seviper hisses at the three Whismurs, frightening them into submission. The three of them chat among themselves before chanting and dancing with the maracas.
Meowth scolds them, "Hey! I don't need no freaked out Whismur rappin', but I do need some Team Rocket maraca playin!"
Then the three Whismurs play the maracas differently.
Meowth is pleased, "Good now we just…"
Suddenly, he hears more tambourine playing and turns to see Happiny doing the playing with glee.
Meowth giggles and says, "Not yet Happiny, we haven't started the music yet."
Happiny nods and decides to wait.
Meowth then says, "Now that's settled, it's time we rehearse the welcome dance we've dreamed up for the boss. And that's not all…" He brings out what looks like a baton with a red and blue Pokeball on one end, and the other that seems to have controls.
Meowth twirls it as he says, "I'm gonna lead this pack of performers with my newly invented Dancin' Poke-Baton," and presses the button on the Pokeball end.
With the push of the button, the baton activates and begins to play music. Soon, the Pokemon begin to strangle and pick up the rhythm of the song, even the frightened Whismur
And Meowth says, "This cool compaction can control Pokemon. With this device they'll shake their groove anytime and anywhere."
And with that, Meowth and the Pokemon begin to dance to the music.

Meowth:
No sense stayin' in a chair, no!
Song:
Music, pumpin',
Now the joint is jumpin'!
Meowth:
Slidin' and glidin' through the air!
Meowth:

And with the end of the song, Meowth deactivates the baton.
"Yeah," Meowth finishes it off.
The Three Whismurs feel rather tired and uncomfortable with the dance number.
"That's how it's done," Meowth says, "The boss will be blown away when I start makin' Pokemon dance when this Dancin' Poke-Baton. I'll bet he's gonna start dancin' the Poke jig himself."
"Wobbuffet!" (Absolutely!) Wobbuffet says.
"Happ Happ Happiny!" (Everyone will wanna dance!) Happily happily says.
And soon, Meowth begins to have one of his fantasies, "And I know just what he's gonna say." and mimics the boss, "I've never been this entertained in a very long time. And Meowth' direction was simply brilliant," and his fantasy continues with Persian getting the boot, "Öf course, he'll have to give his Persian the paws big boots. Bye Bye! And it will be me, laying in his lap while I wash my whiskers," and laughs.
And then he says, "Now, let's take ten kids," then turns to the Whismurs, "And put those Whismurs back in their cage, you got that."
The Whismurs shake frightened and scared.
Curious, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others decide to investigate the mysterious building.
Back inside the Team Rocket HQ, Seviper shouts, "Seviper!" (Get in!)
The three Whismurs run into the cage in fright and the cage closes shut, and the lever lowers so it's locked.
"You three wisenheimers put a sock in it, while us brilliant musicians put something in our tummies," Meowth says.
Outside, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others soon arrive at a window. Lotad tries to see, but can't.
He jumps and calls out, "Lo lo Lotad!" (Hey, I can't see!)
As he tries to see, a stone falls over and to where a Loudred is sleeping soundly. Luckily, Loudtred continues to sleep as it turns over.
Back in the basement, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others watch to see Meowth and the rest of Team Rocket's Pokemon having the three Whismurs trapped in a cage. And now seeing them take their leave.
"Come on guys, it's chow time! Time to strap down the old feed bag!" Meowth says.
The gang watches as Team Rocket walks up the stairs and leaves the basement. Once the doors close, Pikachu, Eevee, and the rest of the group know that they need to do something in freeing the Whismurs. Everyone tries to get in, but can't when they try to get in at the same time. Lotad then pushes to see, causing everyone to fall over and into the basement.
They soon hear the Whismurs and rush over to the cage where they're trapped in. Seeing the other Pokemon, the three Whismurs rush over and explain how they've been captured and being held prisoner.
Pikachu frowns in response. He then mimics each of the ones doing it.
Pikachu mimics Seviper, "Pi pi pi!"
Then inflates himself to look like Cacnea, "Pikachu!"
Then mimics Wobbuffet, "Pika!"
And mimic Happiny, "Pi Pikachu!"
And finally Meowth, "Pika Pika!"
The Whismurs say, "Whismurs Whismus," (They imprisoned us in the cage and forced us to dance. Please help us.)
Pikachu explains, "Pika Pika Pikachu Pi Pika Pika!" (Let's combine our attacks on the cage so we can break the Whismurs free."
Everyone agrees. Pikachu, Eevee, Torchic, Mudkip and Swkovet combined their attacks and mananges to break the handle and are able to open the cage.
Outside, the Loudred is still sleeping, but awakens due to the blast. And then returns to sleep soon after.
However, from inside the basement, they hear Meowth's voice, "Hey! What's with the racket!"
Eevee turns to the others, "Vee Eevee Eevee!" (Quick everyone, we gotta hide!)
The Pokemon soon runs off to find a place to hide before Meowth and the others show up. Lotad runs to the opposite direction, but Mudkip pushes him and leads him to where Pikachu and the others are hidden. Soon enough, Meowth and the others enter the basement and run down the stars.
Where Meowth sees a shocking sight, "OH NOOOOOOO! How did this happen?!" he growls in anger and says, "Who was the lamebrain."
Unknown to Meowth, Lotad sticks his head out of the barrel, but Pikachu quickly tells him that they need to hide. They both quickly do so as Meowth talks to himself.
Then says to himself, "Now what do we do? No maracian squad means no welcome dance for da boss." Then turns to the others, "You numbskulls look for the Whismurs on the double!"
The Team Rocket Pokemon agree and charge down the stairs, but bump into Meowth in the process. Meowth falls down the stairs and lands on the bottom, sending the Dancin' Poke-Baton flying into one of the barrels. As it falls inside, it ends up hitting Treecko's head, and activates it. The Dancin' Poke-Baton begins to play music, and in a matter of seconds, Pikachu, Eevee, and the rest of the gang begin to get controlled by the device. Meowth and the others become worried to know what this means. And soon, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others jump out of the barrel and begin to dance to the music. Treecko tries to resist as he hangs on to the barrel and holds the baton. Team Rocket's Pokemon dance to the music as well, and a Ludicolo appears for some odd reason. And then the sleeping Loudred bursts through the wall and begins to dance as well. Soon, there's a Pokemon dance party in the basement.
Treecko however, continues to resist the rhythm of the baton and hangs onto the barrel for dear life. Suddenly, Treecko loses his balance, causing himself and the barrel to fall over. When that happens, it presses the button on the baton, deactivating it. That causes everyone to regain themselves from the control of the device.
Meowth turns to see Pikachu, Eevee, and the others, and the group are shocked to see they've been caught.
This angers Meowth, "So Pikachu and Eevee, it was you two who's behind this!"
And the gang along with the Whismurs hide in the barrels, except for Lotad.
Meowth shouts, "Give those Whismurs back right now!"
The others say, (Yeah.) in their language.
But Pikachu, Eevee, and the others knock the barrels towards them. Seviper is hit by one, Cacnea and Happiny stumble on one. Wobbuffet is chased by three. And one hit Meowth. They soon crash into the wall.
"Oooh, that hurts," Meowth says.
"Wobbuffet," (Really hurts.) Wobbuffet says.
Then Seviper and Wobbuffet are hit by pipes while Meowth, Cacnea, and Happiny are hit by pans.
Seeing their chase, Pikachu and the others run up the stairs and the Whismurs stay close to the group.
Meowth rushes over, "You crooks come back with those Whismurs!" but is hit with one of the maracas.
Treecko quickly runs up the stairs with the baton, catching Meowth's attention.
Meowth calls out, "Hey, come on! Not the Dancin' Poke-Baton, give it back!" and a maraca hits him on the head.
Meowth growls and rushes up the stairs, muttering to himself, "Yous ain't gonna get away with this!" Then turns to the others, "A LITTLE HELP WILL BE NICE!"
And with that, the others follow Meowth up the stairs, leaving the basement to catch Pikachu, Eevee, and the others. Meanwhile, Loudred is left on his own, dumbfounded.
Running up the stairs, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others are making their escape, but Meowth and the rest of Team Rocket's Pokemon are not far behind.
Meowth shouts, "Wait up!"
And soon, Team Rocket's Pokemon are outside looking for the others.
Meowth angrily looks around, "You thievin' twerps! Where they go!"
And Canea points up, "Cacnea!" (There they are!)
Meowth and the others look to where Cacnea is pointing to, and see that Pikachu, Eevee, and the others are on the roof tower. The Pokegang panics to see that they've been caught.
"This dance is over! You've got nowhere to run now!" Meowth says.
Of course, Pikahcu acts fast and uses Thunderbolt on them, but Wobbuffet uses Counter to deflect the Thunderbolt. The attack causes Mudkip to fall over, but Treecko uses the baton for Mudkip to grab on to. When Mudkip looks down to see how deep the fall is, he panics and tries to climb up. In the process, he ends up pressing the button on the baton, activating the device and the music begins to play.
And the dance routine starts all over again and the Pokemon begin to dance. Pikachu, Eevee, and the others slide off the roof and continue to dance. Treecko of course tries to resist the device's control with the baton in his hand. Just then, Loudred bursts through the wall and begins to dance, Lucdicolo begins dancing as well.
However, the dancing and all the Pokemon's weight is overweight the support beams for the platforms, and begins to fall over. It doesn't help that the Pokemon are stomping and dancing hard, making the tower fall over. Lotad ends up sliding down the platform, hitting one of the control levers, changing the musical rhythm. Now the Pokemon are doing the tango, dancing and twirling, making the platform break more. Soon, by a miracle Treecko and the others are able to get on to safe ground before the platform breaks down. Cacnea bumps into Treecko, making him drop the baton, and Meowth grabs hold of it as he dances. As they dance, Pikachu ends up pressing the button deactivating it in the process, and the Pokemon stop dancing.
Everyone regions themselves and looks to see the larger drop. Everyone cries out and holds each other for deep life. And then the opposite teams look at each other.
Meowth screams, "STOP HOLIN MEEEEEE!
With that, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others, including the Whismurs run inside the building through the hole Loudred bursts through. Meowth and the others chase after them as Meowth screams in anger. Loudred is once again left all alone, dumbfounded.
In the secret base, Pikachu, Eevee, and the rest of the gang run into the party room to get away from Meowth and the others. They soon begin to scatter and Mudkip along with Skwovet and Zigzagoon climb up the stable. Mudkip slips and pulls the tablecloth.
Meowth rushes over and shouts, "Stop it!"
But in his attempts to capture them, Meowth pulls the tablecloth, knocking everything over, and breaking the ice sculpture in the process.
This makes Meowth furious, "NOW I'M MAD!"
Mudkip, Eevee, and Pikachu run away from Meowth, and scatter. Meowth accidentally runs into a cart and it rolls away with him on it. The cart crashes into a large vase, knocking everything down. The Whismur is chased by Cacnea , but torchic swings on one of the streamers, sending Cacnea to crash into the wall. Cacnea ends up falling on Seviper as it chases Amaura and Pikachu. Then Skwovet, Eevee, and Mudkip step on Cacnea and Seviper as they run from Meowth and Wobbuffet.
Meowth shouts, "Hey! Wait!"
And in the process he and Wobbuffet stomp on them both.
Cacnea is so mad that it launches Pin Missile all over the place.
Meowth cries out, "Cool it! You're gonna break that thing!"
And in the process of the Pin Missile, Cacnea ends up destroying the windows and the stage. And launches the three large confetti balls. The balls open and multiple flowers land on top of everyone.
Meowth comes out of the pile, saying, "Now we've done it."
When Meowth cries to stand, he places the baton down, but presses the button, activating the machine again.
Realizing his mistake, Meowth cries out, "Oh no!"
And with that, Meowth panics and tries to turn it off, but presses the orange control lever and changes the musical rhythm as well. Soon, the Pokemon comes out of the flowers and streamers, revealing themselves to wear the flowers and leis, and dance the hula. And Lucidcolo comes in wearing a hula skirt and holding a surfboard. Then Loudred comes into hula dance as well. As the dance continues, one of the confetti balls lands on Meowth, shutting the music.
Seeing their chance to escape, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others run away. Loudred continues to do the hula dancing as the group runs away from Meowth and the others.
"Get back here!" Meowth shouts.
Soon, most of the Pokemon excluding Loudred are out of the room. Loudred stops dancing to find everyone is gone, but tries to dance to keep the mood. So far, nothing.
Soon enough, the chase ends up continuing on the construction site on the roof area.
"Catch them on the double!" Meowth screams.
Lotad and Zigzagoon run on the platform being chased by Seviper. Treecko and Mudkip got chased by Cacnea. They both jump to the other board. Cacnea waits and jumps when it has the chance. And Wobbuffet chases Meloetta and the Whismurs. Treecko and Mudkip split up to get away. Cacnea tries to stop, but falls over. He lands on a wood that is set like a seesaw, so it ends up flinging a bucket that lands on Seviper's head. Lotad and Zigzagoon run to the right as Meowth runs over. Seviper bumps into Meowth and they both fall, crashing through the wood. They land on a rope that launches them into the air, causing him to drop the Dancin' Poke-Baton. Meanwhile, Melotta and the Whismurs try to get away. Wobbuffet tries to chase them, but he ends up landing on the windmill fan and being carried up. Once he reaches the top, the baton lands on his head, activating the machine and the music begins to play.
As the music plays, everyone stops running and begins to move their heads to the rhythm. Meowth and Seviper crash down to the ground, and they quickly get up the wall, and begin to dance. All the Pokemon begin dancing and twirling as they dance across the construction site. Now Wobbuffet is holding the baton. Treecko grabs hold of the pole and tries to resist the dance. Loudred bursts through the wall and begins dancing again. Ludicolo is also on the roof dancing as the roof tiles come flying off. Cacnea, the three Whismurs and Meloetta dance, but the tiles fall on Cancea. As Wobbuffet dances, he accidently lets go of the Dancin' Poke-Baton and it lands in the sand. Soon, the baton begins to show signs of short circuiting.
Back at the construction site, Treecko is trying his hardest to resist until he can't resist anymore. Reaching his limits, Treecko grabs Mudkip and begins dancing around and around, making Mudkip dizzy.
Back at the sand, the baton continues short circuiting and the levers are pushed out. That causes the music to pick up faster. Meowth, Pikachu, and Eevee continue dancing, and Meowth falls into the cement mixer, causing him to harden in cement in and out. That is until the tile breaks the cement and makes Meowth dizzy. The Pokemon dances on the windmill, and Treecko is actually having a blast. Still short circuiting the music either picks up speed or slows down and goes back and forth. The dance returns as the Dancin' poke-Baton continues going haywire and the music continues. Unable to hold itself together, the Dancin' Poke-Baton explodes and is destroyed.
Still on the brick wall, Loudred is looking tired from dancing, and bruised from the explosion. When the pipe lands on Loudred's head, all hell breaks loose, and loses its temper. Loudred grabs the pipe and swings it around. The rest of the Pokemon panic and proceed to run away from the chaos. Meowth slips and grabs to grab the cloth, but falls over. That causes the pipes to fall over towards Meowth. He panics and the pipes barely miss him. When the Pokemon tries to leave, the brick wall breaks down with no hope. Meowth holds Happiny as he and the others run away from Loudred.
In a desperate attempt to escape, they run into an opening of the building before Loudred can chase them. Loudred tries to attack them, but it falls over. Mew and the other Pokemon and Team Rocket's Pokemon rush to the otherside of the wall. They watch in fear as Loudred bangs and thrash its way inside. Finally, it breaks the wall open and has a way to get in. The Pokemon inside scream and panic to see Loudred.
Meowth screams and cries out, "STOP THAT THING!"
Seviper tries to attack, but Loudred swings the pipe at him. Seviper quickly ducks from Loudred's swing, but in the process, breaks a wooden column.
Meowth's face grows pale and cries out, "WOUH NO! THE COLUMN!"
That causes the entire building to shake, sending everyone in a panic. And Suddenly, the shaking stops. Everyone sighs in relief.
"That was a close one," Meowth says in relief.
Suddenly, Lotad stumbles and swiftly moves to the otherside. And all of the sudden, Lotad lets out a sneeze, Soon, the entire building begins coming down. Everyone screams and panic as the building gets destroyed. Everyone finds themselves on the large platform.
"All the hard work we did buildin' this thing!" Meowth cries out.
Just then, Loudred lands on Team Rocket's side, causing the wood to break in half, sending the group of Pokemon in different directions. Pikachu, Eevee, the rest of the gang, and the three Whsimurs find themselves flying down into the forest. Soon, they find themselves heading towards a cliff. Lotad acts fast to use Water gun to stop the collision. Then the wood falls flat on the ground. With everyone safe and the Whismurs free, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others happily cheer for their escape.
Meanwhile, Meowth and the rest of Team Rocket's Pokemon begin climbing up the stairs from the basement, dejected by what happened. When Meowth opens the door, the wall and door fall over and crash to the ground.
"Now that stupid stick is broken, at least nothing else can go wrong, right?" Meowth says.
Meowth ends up speaking too soon as the stairs fall over, and the rest of the Team Rocket secret base collapses and falls down into the cavern with Meowth and the others.
Meowth lets out a cry, "THIS IS NOT MY DAY!"
One thing for sure, Jessie and James are not going to be happy when they get back with the boss.
Later that evening, the three Whisrmurs take their leave back home as Pikachu, Eevee, and the rest of the gang say goodbye to their new friends.
