Episode 44: Let Bagons Be Bagons

High up in the mountains, Mew and her friends are following the path to Fallarbor Town, where May plans to enter the Pokemon Contest that is taking place. After that, it's Lavaridge Town where Mew hopes to Earth her fourth badge.

As the group continues walking on, a small rock falls onto the path. They look up to see a familiar blue bipedal creature standing on a ledge before looking down at them.

"Wow. Look up there," Mew says.

"It's a Bagon," Brock says.

Mew gets her Pokedex and Dextette says, "Bagon, the Rock Head Pokémon. A Dragon Type. Bagon bashes its head against large rocks until it eventually grows as hard as steel."

"A Rock Head Pokémon, huh? It does look pretty strong," Tomo says.

"Meloetta," (It sure does.) Meloetta says.

"Well, its head looks strong, anyway," May says.

"Yeah, and a Skull Bash from that height could squish us all like pancakes," Max says.

"Thanks a lot, Max. Trying to scare me?" May says, not pleased.

"But it is true that wild Pokémon can attack unexpectedly," Brock says.

Bagon suddenly leads off the ledge, frightening everyone. The Bagon soon acts like it's trying to fly before it starts to descend.

"It's coming down!" Jen cries out.

"Run for it!" Mew cries out.

Everyone clears out as the Bagon ends up smashing a rock into rubble with its head before it looks at the group ferociously.

"I think that Bagon's looking for a fight!" Max says.

"I don't know," Mew says.

"Why you say that?" Molly asks.

"Well, from what I remember, Bagon has the habit of trying to fly, and crashes," Mew says.

"Maybe one Bagon to another can help us," Brock says, and calls out, "Go Bagon!"

And Brock's Bagon comes out.

"Hey Bagon, maybe you can ask the other Bagon what it's doing," Brock says.

Brock's Bagon nods and approaches the other one. Luckily, the two begin talking to one another. After the conversation, the Bagon then runs up the hill again, while Brock's Bagon returns to its trainer.

"So Bagon, what did it say?" Brock asks.

Brock's Bagon begins explaining what the other Bagon told him.

Mew translates, "Well, from what Bagon is saying, that Bagon is practicing battling accuracy with his trainer."

"With his trainer?" Max questions.

"You mean that Bagon belongs to someone?" May questions.

The Bagon then leaps, acting like it's trying to fly. The Bagon heads down and smashes another rock.

"Must be practicing Headbutt as well," Tomo says.

Brock's Bagon turns to Brock and points to the Bagon performing the same stunt.

"You wanna try too?" Brock asks.

Brock's Bagon nods in response.

"Well, I don't see why not, but you need to be careful," Brock says.

"He's right," A voice says.

The group turns to see a woman with purple hair, wearing a dark purple dress with matching boots, and light purple gloves. She is also wearing some dark shades of goggles.

"It's not always easy to battle accuracies from above, it can be very dangerous if it's not taken lightly," Brock says.

"Hello. I'm guessing you're that Bagon's trainer?" Brock asks.

"That's right, what brings you here," The woman sks.

"We were just innocently walking along the path when your Bagon came swooping down on us from the cliff!" May says.

"Yeah. It nearly crashed into us," Mew says.

"Oh. That's what happened?" The woman says and removes her glasses, "Sorry about that."

It's revealed that the woman looks very pretty, who has fair skin, and purple eyes.

And at an instant, Brock becomes smitten, "Forget about it! No problem!" and kneels down as he takes her hand, "Some of the greatest romances began with silly misunderstandings."

"Are you alright?" The woman asks.

Brock comes up to her, "My name's Brock, and I'll be just fine if you tell me who you are."

"Okay, I'm Michelle," The woman, Michelle says.

"Michelle, what a beautiful name," Brock says.

Mew then introduces herself, "I'm Ashley, from Pallet Town.

"I'm Tomo," Tomo says.

"I'm Jen," Jen says.

"And I'm Molly," Molly says.

"And I'm Max, "Max says.

"My name's May. Hi," May says.

The Pokemon introduces themselves as well. Even Brock's Bagon.

Soon, Brock's Bagon runs off.

"Hey, where are you going, Brock?" Brock asks, noticing that Bagon is running off.

They find Michelle's Bagon up on the cliff again

"Look! Bagon's back up on the cliff again!" May says.

Bagon then leaps, prompting Michelle to put her glasses back on.

"Decline, 80 degrees. Speed, 104. Landing coordinates, locked on!" Michelle says.

"Look out, Bagon!" Mew calls out.

However, Bagon smashes yet another rock before landing in Michelle's arms.

"Perfect catch!" May says.

Michelle removes her glasses, "Good job, Bagon. Are you alright?"

"Bagon Ba!" (I'm just fine.) Bagon says.

"Awesome," Max says, "Hey Michelle, do those glasses have some kind of communication link inside them?"

"Oh, more than that. They have a built in computer that calculates speed, angle and distance," Michelle says.

"A computer built into glasses?" May questions.

"I built and programmed these myself, to help my Bagon improve its accuracy in our Pokémon battles," Michelle says.

"Wow. From what we saw, I say it's working," Tomo says.

"That's cool," Jen says.

"If you don't mind me asking, why was Bagon jumping off of that cliff?" Brock asks.

"Well, the only reason I can come up with is that it wants to learn to fly," Michelle says.

"Really?" Molly questions.

"How can a Bagon fly?" Max asks.

"It's just my theory but I think my Bagon dreams of swooping gracefully through the sky like Flying Pokemon," Michelle says.

"So that's why it jumps off of cliffs?" Tomo asks,

"Yep. Every time I take my eyes off it," Michelle says.

"I think I know just how your Bagon feels, Michelle," Mew says.

"Yeah?" Michelle questions.

Mew says, "I've always thought how cool it would be to fly. Not on a Pokemon, but on my own. Going anywhere I wanted. Being able to fly along with them."

"Me too. Think of the great view up there," May says.

"Yeah," Tomo says.

"Some would call dreams of flying immature," Max says.

May glares at Max, "What's that, brother of mine?"

"Watch it, Max,' Mew sternly says.

But Brock notices something, "Wait, there's something strange about this. I thought Bagon evolved into Shelgon, first, and then into Salamence before they could fly."

"That's right. Since my Bagon is so anxious to fly, I'm helping it get all the extra experience I can so it can evolve," Michelle says.

"That's a good idea," Brock says.

Then Mew has an idea, "In that case, what do you think about a real battle then?"

"Alright, yeah!" Michelle says.

"Ba gon!" (Let's do it!) Bagon agrees.

Then Brock says, "How about we make it a double battle, it will be great to battle with my Bagon."

"Great idea," Michelle says.

"Great. I'll battle too," Tomo says.

"I can't wait to see your computer glasses in action, Michelle," Max says.

As the group chat, Team Rocket spies from afar.

"So that's a Bagon? Interesting," James replies.

"Oh, who cares? What's so interesting about a hard headed Pokemon?" Jessie questions.

"Wooobbu!" (Not much!) Wobbuffet answers.

Then Meowth says, "Well, here's a tought dat's interesting. What if we gave dat Bagon to da boss as a present?"

"Meowth, do you really think he would like it?" James asks.

"Yes, of course!" Meowth says.

A fantasy scenario begins as Meowth says, "Imagine da boss is clearing a rocky valley for a place to build a new Team Rocket base."

"Yeah?" James and Jessie question.

Meowth questions, "'Des heat is so overwhelming, but it's very important that I build a new secret base here for my three favorite Team Rocket members.' Just when he was so hot that his eyes are on fire, da boss will look up, 'Oh' right in front of him, he'll see a fallen coconut. 'Just in the nick of time, coconut milk will save me from this terrible thirst, but how can I open it? Aaaah!' Then da boss will remember the Bagon we gave him. He'll realize that thanks to the Bagon and its rock hard head, he can eat and drink dos coconuts whenever he wants. That's when the boss will day, 'I owe dat Meowth and his friends a big reward for giving me this Bagon."

Fantasy ends.

Team Rocket cheer, "It could mean promotions, bonuses or keys to the executive washroom!"

"We'll be soaking in hot springs and jacuzzies and living large!" Meowth says.

"Wobbuffet!" (You said it!) Wobbuffet says.

Meanwhile, the group is ready to battle. Mew and Brock vs. Michelle and Tomo.

May is the referee, "Alright, we'll have a double battle. Each trainer will have one Pokemon. Trainers, signal when ready!"

Mew then calls out, "Go Dreepy!"

Dragonair then comes out.

"Ready Bagon?" Brock asks.

"Bagon!" (Ready!) Brock's Bagon says.

Michelle's Bagon also shows determination.

Tomo then calls out, "Deino! I choose you!"

And Deino comes out.

"Brock. Mew. You can go ahead whenever you're ready," Michelle says.

"Wow. So it's an All Dragon Type Battle," Molly says.

"Yeah. Hard to say who's going to win this match," Max says.

May soon announces, "Begin!"

"Alright Dreepy, let's start with Quick Attack!" Mew calls out.

Dreepy does just that.

Dreepy does Quick Attack, prompting Michelle to check her computer glasses.

"Zigzagging two meters wide," Michelle says. She then calls out, "Bagon, slide thirty degrees left and be on the defensive!"

Bagon braces and when Dreepy hits, he ends up hurting himself before being forced back.

"Bagon used its head to deflect Quick Attack?" Molly says.

"She knew where it was coming from thanks to her sunglasses. That's bad," Max says.

"How come?" Jen asks.

"It means that Quick Attack has only half of the normal impact," Max says.

"Uh oh," The girls reply.

"Dreepy's taken 70% damage, moral is dropping. Bagon, use Headbutt!" Michelle calls out.

Bagon charges in.

"Bagon, use Headbutt!" Brock calls out.

Brock's Bagon charges.

And both Bagon hit each other. That causes the two to be pushed back.

"Deino, use Dragon Breath!" Tomo calls out.

Deino fires the attack, making Dreepy and Brock's Bagon dodge.

"Use Dragon Breath!" Brock says.

"Analyzing Dragon Breath's effective target area," Michelle says.

Bagon launches the attack.

"Bagon, two meters to the left!" Michelle says.

Michelle's Bagon listens and narrowly avoids the attack

"Alright, use Headbutt again!" Michelle calls out.

Michelle's Bagon darts in.

"Headbutt!" Brock calls out.

Soon, Brock's Bagon uses Headbutt as well, but Michelle's Bagon hits Brock's hard.

"Bagon!" Brock calls out.

Bagon is pushed back, and barely hits the rock.

"You okay Bagon?!" Brock calls out.

Brock's Bagon stands and shows that it's still up to battle.

Then Brock calls out, "Now Bagon, use Headbutt!"

Brock's Bagon charges for the attack before Michelle can analyze the attack, Brock's Bagon hits Michelle's Bagon with full force, which did more damage to Bagon than anything before it skidded along the ground.

"Bagon!" Michelle calls out, "You've gotta get up! Come on, Bagon!"

Bagon got up, ready for more.

"That's more like it!" Michelle says, "Hit Dreepy with a Headbutt!"

"Dieno, use Headbutt!" Tomo says.

"Get ready, Dreepy!" Mew calls out.

"Here they come, Bagon," Brock says.

Dreepy and Brock's Bagon repair themselves while Michelle's Bagon and Deino.

"Guys, get ready to dodge when I tell you!" Mew calls out.

Bagon and Deino gets closer to striking, until…

"Now!" Mew calls out.

Dreepy and Brock's Bagon dodge the attack, forcing Michelle's Bagon and Deino to come to a stop.

"They dodged it!" Michelle says.

"Now, Draco Meteor!" Mew calls out.

Dreepy performs the attack.

"Calculating probable attack area. Bagon, thirty degree upward jump!" Michelle says.

Bagon leaps out of the way in time

"Now, Skull Bash!" Michelle says.

Bagon zooms downward

"Now, Pikachu, use Dragon Tail!" Mew calls out.

Dreepy leaps and throws the attack, stopping Bagon in its tracks.

"No way!" Michelle cries out.

"It worked!" Mew says.

Both Pokémon land on their feet.

"Impressive, Ashley. Using offense as defense," Michelle says.

"Thanks," Mew says.

"And I have to admit, your Bagon is strong, Brock," Michelle says.

"Thanks Michelle," Brock says.

Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice.

Jessie: (V.O.)

Prepare for trouble is all I heard!

The battle comes to a halt

James: (V.O.)

And make it double were the very next words!

They soon see Team Rocket fly in on a helicopter.

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

James!

Jessie:

Team Rocket blasts off by remote control at the speed of light.

James:

Surrender now or prepare for a remote controlled fight!

Meowth:

Dat's right!

Wobbuffet:

Woooobbuffet! (That's a wrap!)

"Team Rocket!" Molly says.

"Remote controlled? What's that supposed to mean?" Brock questions, confused.

James laughs and says, ""I'm glad you asked that question."

"Go, Meowth!" Jessie says.

A hatch on the nose of the helicopter opens to reveal Meowth on a jetpack.

"I'm going in!" Meowth says.

Meowth zooms forward while yelling like Tarzan, straight at Pikachu and Eevee.

"Pikachu! Eevee! Look out!" Mew calls out.

"Looks like they fell for it," Jessie says and activates a remote control.

"I'm heeeere!" Meowth says and veers toward Michelle's Bagon, "For you!" and grabs it.

"Bagon, no!" Michelle calls out.

"Fooled ya!" Meowth says.

"Well, I'm sure that cleared up any confusion that those goody-goods may have had," James says.

"This is great! We should do all of our operations via remote control!" Jessie says.

Mew then calls out, "Go, Treecko!"

Treecko comes out.

"Treecko, use Bullet Seed, now!" Mew calls out.

Treecko fires the attack, and hits the helicopter, causing it to go out of control before Jessie drops her remote

Jessie cries out, "No! The remote control to the Meowth Missile!"

Meowth screams, "Stop da ride, I wanna get off! I knew we shoulda paid extra for da parachute!"

Back in the helicopter, James says, "Hold on, Meowth! Help is on the way!"

James steers the helicopter in the direction Meowth went.

Back on the ground.

Michelle finds the remote, "Look! The remote control for that Meowth's jetpack," She then picks it up and presses a button or two.

"Is it working?" Brock asks.

"It will, if we can get closer to that Meowth, but right now, he's too far out of range," Michelle says.

"Alright, then let's go after them!" Tomo says.

"Yeah," Michelle says.

Meanwhile, Meowth is flying out of control as he cries out, "Jessie! James! Find de off switch for dis ting!"

Bagon seemed to be enjoying the ride when Team Rocket came in from behind with a giant net on the underside of the copter.

"Whatever you do, don't let go of that Bagon!" Jessie says.

"Meowth! We'll scoop you up in the net!" James calls out.

"I knew you'd come! My friends! I love you guys!" Meowth says, relieved.

But just before Meowth could be caught, he tilts downward and flies toward the forest below.

Meowth cries out, "You MIIIIIIIIISSED!"

Down in the forest, Meowth flew past and through branches before hitting the body of a tree and letting Bagon go while he slid down face first.

"How, could dey miss?" Meowth asks himself.

Meanwhile, Treecko is seen leaping from branch to branch with Mew and the others as Dragonair takes the air.

"Wow, Ashley. Your Pokémon are really well-trained. Treecko with its Bullet Seed, Dreepy deflecting Headbutt with Dragon Tail. Dragonair and her flying. Its pretty obvious to me, you're a pretty good trainer."

"Thank you. But its my Pokémon that deserve all the credit, and my coach knows it," Mew says.

"Ashley is being too modest. She worked with both Pokémon to help them master those attacks," Brock says.

"So you encourage them?" Michelle asks.

"Sure. I wanted my Pokemon to master different attacks just as much as they did, so we tried and never gave up," Mew says.

"I get it," Michelle says.

"It's kinda like your Bagon wanting to fly. I know it's a long shot, But if we could help, I'd really love to see it happen," Mew says.

"I got it! You mean, if I want Bagon to evolve as much as it does, it'll happen sooner than I think!" Michelle says.

"Yeah! That's right!" Mew says.

"Encouraging your Pokémon and never giving up. That's it!" Michelle says.

Meanwhile, Jessie and James had landed

"Come on, Meowth. Pull yourself together," Jessie says.

"You don't appear too badly injured," James says.

"Da damage is mostly psychological," Meowth says.

Bagon soon starts touching the jetpack.

"What are you so happy about, Bagon?" James asks.

Bagon then explains, "Bagon, Bagon!" (I always dreamt of flying, and now I got to see what it's like!)

"Huh. It's saying it's always dreamt of flying and now it finally got to see what it's like," Meowth says.

"Bagon." (That's right.) Bagon says.

"You don't say," Meowth says.

Jessie says, "Please. You can't fly."

"Not even a remote possibility," James says.

This makes Meowth mad, "I've had enough with your remotes!" and scratches James.

James screams in pain, "Alright! I think I've got the point!"

"I myself have accomplished the impossible, you know," Meowth says.

"Ah, that's right! Tell us the story," Jessie says.

Soon, Meowth says, "It takes me back, to da day I moved to da city and loined to walk upright and study human speech. Cause I knew witout it, I would nevah accomplish my dreams. AAAAAHHHH, life is a musical!"

"Oh, boy. You just had to tell that story one more time, huh?" James replies.

Meowth then says to Bagon, "Take it from me, kid. Hang on ta your dreams and woik hard! Someday, you're gonna fly!"

Bagon happily responds as Jessie sulks.

"Did I just hear someone of Team Rocket encouraging the virtues of hard work?" Jessie questions.

"It's all gone, horribly wrong," James says.

"Woooobbuffet!" (Terrible!) Wobbuffet says.

Then Meowth says, "Youse are forgetting dat if Bagon really does loin ta fly, da boss will be happier."

"Huh?" Jessie and James reply, confused.

"How so?" James asks

A fantasy scenario begins.

Meowth explains, "Simple. Imagine da boss traveling in his helicoptah, and he gets sudden craving for coconut milk."

"Yeah?" Jessie and James reply, confused.

Meowth explains, "But as we all know, coconuts are hard to crack open, so da boss tries to come up with a way to solve his small problem. Dat's when his Bagon comes flying in and uses its rock hard head to split the coconut, allowing da boss to drink his fill. And dat's when he'll say; 'Dat Meowth and his teammates desoive a bettah reward den I tought for bringing me this Bagon.'

Fantasy scenario ends.

Team Rocket cheers, "That could mean promotions, big fancy cars and maybe even a yacht!"

"Wooooobbuffet!" (Luuuuuxury!) Wobbuffet says.

"We found you at last, Team Rocket!" Mew's voice appears.

The trio soon spot Mew and the others.

"Now give me back my Bagon," Michelle demands.

"Not a chance!" Team Rocket says.

"Pikachu, Eevee, Quick Attack, now!" Mew calls out.

Both Pokemon dart in and nail Team Rocket, sending them flying into the nose of their helicopter while Bagon reunites with Michelle with jetpack in hand.

"They didn't hurt you, did they, Bagon?" Michelle asks, worried.

"Ba Bagon." (I'm okay.) Bagon answers.

"Thank goodness," Michelle says.

The helicopter blades start whirring before a mechanical arm grabs Pikachu and Eevee.

They both cry out, (Mew!)

"Hey!" Mew cries out.

"That's not fair!" Jen shouts.

"It's also not fair that I'm both brilliant and beautiful, but that's the way it is. So, tata twerps," Jessie says.

Then the helicopter flies off.

"Stop Team Rocket!" Mew calls out.

Just then, Michelle's Bagon says, "Bagon Ba!" (I'll get em!)

"You want to follow them with that jetpack?" Max asks.

"Ba Bagon!" (Yes, I do!) Bagon says.

"Isn't that dangerous?" May asks.

Treecko hops onto the jetpack.

"You, too, Treecko?" Mew asks.

Treecko confirms.

And then, Brock's Bagon, Tomo's Deino, and Mew's Dreepy climbs on the back of Mew's Dragonair.

"You all wanna help too?" Mew asks.

They all nod to confirm it.

Brock then says, "Michelle, we should let our Pokemon try it.

"Okay," Michelle says and puts on her glasses, "I'll stand by my Pokémon. Calculating interception course from helicopter speed and distance," Then says, "Get ready, guys."

All the Pokemon nod

"Launch!" Michelle says and presses the button.

Soon, the jetpack takes off with Michelle's Bagon and Mew's Treecko. The rest follow from behind on Dragonair.

"You'll only get one shot!" Michelle says.

Inside Team Rocket's helicopter, Pikachu and Eevee are unable to shock his way out of a cage they're locked in.

"Sorry, pals! We're as electricity-proof as evah! Save your tundah!" Meowth says.

James look at his left, "Attention, please. It would appear that we have some company."

Jessie and Meowth look and are shocked by what they see. And it's the Pokemon to the rescue.

"The jetpack!" Jessie cries out.

Bagon then flies towards the head straight for the copter."

"Dey're gonna ram us!" Meowth cries out.

Soon, Bagon flies through the windows and allows Treecko to land on the controls, ready to fight.

Pikachu and Eevee are relieved.

"You're up, Seviper!" Jessie says.

Seviper comes out, but can't fit in the helicopter, squishing Team Rocket.

"Whoa! Trying to drive here!" James cries out.

They soon hear a banging sound and see both Bagons banging their heads along against the nose of the helicopter. Along with Deino, and Dreepy uses Dragontail.

"Hey! Quit that!" James cries out.

Treecko fires a Bullet Seed that bounces around the inside of the helicopter, causing multiple breaches before one seed breaks Pikachu and Eevee's locked cage, allowing them to escape with Treecko before they jump out and land on Bagon's jetpack. While Brock's Bagon and the others hops on to Dragonair.

"You're the pilot, do something!" Jessie cries out.

"Level dis chopper out, now!" Meowth panics.

"This is the captain, lunch will not be served today!" James panics.

As James speaks, everyone follows from the ground.

"Okay, Pikachu, Eevee, Thunderbolt, now!" Mew calls out.

Pikachu and Eevee agree, leap off, and launch their attacks, destroying the helicopter and sending Team Rocket flying.

"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket cries out.

"Seviper!" (We'll be back!) Seviper cries out.

"They did it!" Mew says.

'Alright!" Tomo cheers.

Bagon and its passengers fly in a circle as a celebration with Dragonair and the other Dragon Pokemon.

"Hey, check out Bagon up there, flying around with Dragonair and the others," May says.

"Michelle believed in it and its dream came true," Max says.

"Pretty good, too. I guess Bagon really was born to fly," Brock says.

"Yep," Mew says and turns to Michelle, "Our Pokémon saved the day, didn't they?"

"Thanks to you. I owe you," Michelle says, then removes her glasses, "And I owe a lot to Bagon, too."

Later that evening, Bagon and his passengers come in for a landing.

"Well, Bagon, how did you like your first flight?" Michelle asks.

"Bagon Ba Bagon!" (It was amazing!) Bagon says.

Soon, both Brock and Michelle's Bagon, Mew's Dreepy, and Tomo's Deino begin to glow.

"No way!" Mays says, shocked.

"Uh, yes, way!" Max says.

"They're all evolving!" Brock says.

Soon the Pokemon morph and grow until they've taken their newly evolved forms.

Both Bagon become Shelgon. Quadrupedal Pokémon that resembles a pupal stage. There are bone structures covering its body, which form a shell with two openings and three ridges on top. One opening is in front, revealing two yellow eyes, while the other opening is in the back. This bony covering repels enemy attack. Its gray legs are visible protruding from underneath the shell, each with a short red stripe on the inner surface.

Mew's Dreepy is now a Pokémon which resembles a lizard, with a wide, black-colored head with two vertical horns and two pinkish-red triangle-shaped stripes on either side. It has yellow eyes with pink eyelids, while the underside of its mouth is light blue. The rest of its body is also light blue, while its belly is yellow with a red, upside-down V-shaped mark. It has short, stubby arms and legs and a long tail.

Tomo's Deino is now a dark-blue, quadrupedal Pokémon with two heads and black fur covering its necks and back. Its front legs are muscular with two claws on each foot, but its rear legs are less defined and have two small, backward-pointing toes without claws. There are tufts of fur over its heads with rounded points at the top. It has two thin wings on its back, each ending in two points. The fur stops at the chest and opens up to fuchsia striped bands on the side of its legs. Though it appears to lack eyes, it is unknown if Zweilous is blind.

"They evolved," Mew says.

"Bagon evolved into a Shelgon!" Brock says.

"How fantastic!" Michelle says, and hugs it, "You earned this, Shelgon, by never giving up on your dream!"

"Shelgon." (Sure did.) Shelgon says.

Tomo says, "You all deserve it and hugs his new Pokemon.

"Yeah." Brock says.

"I agree." Mew says.

She and Brock congratulate their Pokemon.

Mew brings out her Pokedex, and Dextette says, "Shelgon, the Endurance Pokemon and the evolved form of Shelgon. A Dragon Type. Inside Shelgon's armor-like shell, cells are in the midst of transformation to create an entirely new body. This Pokémon's shell is extremely heavy, making its movements sluggish."

Then shows Tomo's Pokemon, "Zweilous, the Hostile Pokemon, and the evolved form of Deino. A Dark and Dragon Type. The two heads have different likes and dislikes. Because the heads fight with each other, Zweilous gets stronger without needing to rely on others."

And to Mew's Pokemon, "Drakloak, the Caretaker Pokemon, and the evolved form of Dreepy. A Dragon and Ghost Type. This Pokémon stores up energy in its lungs, then shoots it out. It takes care of Dreepy and battles alongside them until they're all grown up.

Everyone watches on happily as some Pidgeotto are seen flying from the trees

"Check out that flock of Pidgeotto!" Molly says

"Yeah," May says.

"The perfect symbol for Shelgon's dream of flying someday!" Brock says.

Everyone watches the PIdgeotto fly off into the sunset. And so, as Mew continue their journey to Fallarbor Town, they carry with them an important new lesson. Hold on tight to your dreams, and never let go.
