Title: The Road to Carne(age)
Alt Title: Ponderings and Nostalgia
.
Nuclear Cat: HOLY SHIT. You have no clue what you just asked for. This chapter has 2k words dedicated just to your question.
I'll put his adventuring stats in the bonus. The stats on the first page are his werewolf form. Though he has two others. A Primal form where he looks like a Worgen. And a Blood Moon Form. Where all the blue lightning patterns turn to red and he gets large, slightly larger than Cocytus. And has a haze of smoke reminiscent of a storm cloud coming off him.
Technically speaking, his werewolf form is his base form. He downgrades to human for the advantage of deceit. When he talked about the temptation to transform at the full moon. He was talking about his Primal form.
AllahDeluxe: I already mentioned that in the A/N at the end of chapter three.
: Glad you enjoy it!
DancingLeaf: He did. The only one he couldn't kill off effectively was Thor. He did manage to do it, eventually. But he was taken of the raid group for him because they were trying to grind for the blue orb. And Thor is a hard hitting thunder/lightning tank with massive AOE damage. And AOE is Zamaina's hard counter. To say nothing of his lightning skills doing nothing.
Yes he has a lore book dedicated to himself. Everyone in Ainz Ooal Goan did. It was just their in game achievements page that every player got and was viewable by anyone. The members of Ainz Ooal Goan had a habit of aggrandizing and "fancifying" it. And Zamaina was no different.
I'd put as more, 'Hmm, what would happen if I did this?' with no concern for the consequences. He had so little freedom IRL that he got addicted to it in Yggdrasil.
He could learn basic skills, but nothing that would require a specialization outside of what is possible on his own, like martial arts. Similar to how Ainz in canon learned how to actually wield weapons.
Kaykaykaykayan: No it's the Momon armor. The light novels describe Ainz as having modeled the armor after Touch Me's armor as a sort of parody/homage to him. I find the original art portrays this better than the anime does.
And hey, we've all had moment like that where we try something, and end up putting a foot in our mouth.
That's fine, Nuclear cat asked for ALL of Zamaina's main gear stats. I spent a full DAY typing it out.
S. Aidobare: Thanks! Even better than AtheistBasementDragon's fics? I think I'm doing decent, but if you want top tier I suggest you check him out.
.
Yes I am still using dots to separate because I still can't figure out how to use spaces. FFN likes squishing my paragraphs together when it's empty.

Zamaina "Inazama" POV
.
"Hey Momon, what's taking so long?" I ask as I walk over to the quest board.
[I can't read.] He messages.
[Ask for help then.] I message back.
[Dude! I can't do that! I'd look like a joke!] He vehemently denies.
[So it's a pride issue?] I ask.
[No! I just, don't want to look like an idiot.] He defends weakly.
[Uh, huh. Tell you what. Stay here, I'll get a decrypted glass.] I say.
[Yeah, okay.] He says.
In Yggdrasil, there were multiple languages. Basically, your character needed the right skill or race to understand it. Like, if you were in Nidavellir. You'd need to be able to read Dwarven to understand any of the writings from there.
It was a puzzle and roleplay mechanic. It was meant to encourage players to diversify their parties. But it was easily worked around with a cheap cash shop item. Making the original intent moot.
So, I make it back to the tired boar inn, up to our room. And gate back to the tenth floor.
"Lord Zamaina!" Two of the maids bow.
"At ease." I say as reach into my inventory and swap out my Signet of Ba'al for the Ring of Ainz Ooal Goan.
Teleporting to my room. I go to my personal stash. A wooden chest with ornate Celtic knots carved into the golden bands. Off to the side of my room next to my mirror. Which is made to look like a cross section of a geode with the middle being the reflective mirror.
There are three inventory types, technically four. Inventory, which has a set limit of items you can hold on your person to be accessed at any time, that can be increased with cash shop purchases. Personal stash, meant to be in a permanent location that you can stash stuff. It's larger than your inventory and can be increased with in game purchases. Guild inventory, where the guild puts their fair share into. Same thing with in game purchases. And guild master's storage. Basically a second personal stash for the guild leader.
Anyway, I search through my personal stash. Grab the monocle. Toss it in my stash, and head out.

Ninya POV
.
"Well, it's stupid." I say as I look away. "C'mon guys, you're making me blush!"
"Nonsense!" Dyne says with a smile. "You have a great advantage and you should be proud of it!"
"I just think I got lucky is all." I say honestly. "Besides, I'm not even the most famous in the city." I finish, hoping to move the topic away from me.
"Ah, you must be talking about Nferia Baleare." Peter says.
'Oh thank goodness!' I think with relief.
"Hmm, I'm not aware of that individual." Momon says regally.
He's, a bit off putting. I know he can't be a noble. Being an adventurer would automatically force him to cut ties. What with how adventurers are meant to be kept separate from politics.
But still, his speech.
"You really are from out of town aren't you?" Lukrut says.
"He's a local apothecary." Peter says. "He has a talent that allows him to use any magical item without restriction."
And yet he doesn't use it for anything.
"Dude!" We all hear come the receptionist desk.
Walking over here is, oh by the holy four!
'He's hot!' I think as I struggle to keep my blush away. 'That jawline and those piercing blue eyes!'
He gets closer and I see his hands. Strong, clean, hands.
It's times like this I wish I didn't have to pose as a boy.
"I left to get your reading glasses so you could read the board, and I come back to find you found a job anyway?" He says.
'That's why they were waiting at a table?' I think to myself.
"Er, well, they made an offer I thought to be advantageous." He says awkwardly.
'Who's in charge here?' I ask myself at hearing his tone.
I look to Nabe. Who doesn't even seem to be registering anything going on.
'I thought Momon was the leader?' I ask myself. 'Is it that this is just a normal thing?'
"You just don't want others knowing you need reading glasses." The third party member says.
"Er, well, everyone!" Momon turns to us. "This is the third member of our party, Inazama."
"S'up?" He waves a hand. "So, what've we got going on here?"
'Definitely not a noble.' I think with relief.
He has the good looks of someone with wealth, but dresses practically and talks like an actual person.
'Yeah, there's no way he's single.' A small part of me says.
"Inazama is actually a talent holder himself!" Momon says.
"Oh really?" Peter says. "What kind?"
Inazama turns around and covers his eyes.
"Throw something at me." He says.
We all share a look of confusion. Before Lukrut just shrugs and tosses an empty mug at him.
Only for him to catch the spinning mug by the handle! And toss it back to land perfectly in front of Lukrut!
"My talent gives me a sort of hyper awareness of my surroundings." He says as he turns back around. Removing his hand from his eyes. "So, with that, I became a hunter. A type of ranger, with more jack of all trades and survivalist skills."
'That explains all the pouches and gear.' I think to myself as I look him up and down. 'Oh god his bulge! Look away before he thinks you're a creep!'
Looking around, I see that no one is looking at me. And instead at Momon and Peter who are discussing the details of our job. And, Nabe is glaring at me!
.
.
Lukrut Volve POV
.
Okay, I know for a fact! I'm not gay.
But, seeing this guy? I can see how it happens.
I mean, Ninya is clearly flying the other team's colors. I saw those wandering eyes.
Explains why he never showed any interest in girls.
"Well, with two talent holders on our team, we should be set!" I say to mess with Ninya.
.
.
Zamaina "Inazama" POV
.
"Oh? Who's the other?" I ask.
Talents are rare, and if they can be cultivated, then hell yes! If we're making the sorcerer kingdom then having talent holders is a must!
"Ninya." The blonde ranger says.
"Again guys?" She whines.
'Maybe she's trans? Is she an important character?' I think to myself. 'Fuck, I wish I could remember more of the series, but it's been nearly three decades since I last saw it.'
"Ninya can learn spells twice as fast." The druid says.
I really need to learn their names. So far all I have is the wizard's name.
Wait, a wizard who learns spells twice as fast?
[Dibs.] I message Momonga.
[Heh? What'd you mean?] He asks.
[The spell caster, she's mine.] I say. [I call dibs.]
[Um, oh, kay? You mean he, right?] Momonga says awkwardly.
[I'll explain it later.] I say before cutting off the line.
'I'm getting a new pet~!' I think happily.
Oh! Maybe I can snatch Nferia as well! I already have Enri. And a good owner needs to make sure their pets don't get lonely after all.
"Mister Inazama?" I hear from behind me. "You have someone looking for you!"
"Hmm?" I hum as I turn around.
.
.
Nfirea Bareare POV
.
'So this is the guy with God's blood?' I ask myself. 'He looks like someone with connections and a lot of skills.'
"Hey, you asked for me?" He says as he walks up to me, a good head and a half taller than me.
'He has a noble voice, but he clearly doesn't speak like one. A bastard maybe?' I think to myself.
"Oh, um yes!" I say. "I heard you were new in town! And I was wondering if you would accept a job from me, you see, I collect herbs from the outskirts of The Great Forest of Tob. And my usual escort moved to the capital, so?"
'Please buy it!'
"Hmm, tempting, but nah." He says. "You gotta talk to my leader." He juts a finger to the most armored man I've ever seen.
"Are you sure Inazama?" The large armored man says in a regal voice. "I wouldn't mind if you took on a side quest for a bit."
"Hey, what's rule number one?" Inazama asks.
"Always keep an eye on the rogue?" He says. "I don't understand what-"
"Fuck, not that one. The other one." He says as he massages the bridge of his nose.
"Never split the party." He says jovially, clearly joking with him.
They stare at each other in silence for a bit. Seemingly having a conversation only they can hear.
'Miss Britta mentioned they might me lovers.' I think to myself. 'Is this the sort of unspoken communication two long term partners have that I've heard about?'
"Bah hah hah ha!" The larger man starts laughing. "Oh, you know I mean nothing by it."
"Yeah, yeah." Inazama rolls his eyes as he turns to me. "But yeah, ask him."
"Oh um, of course!" I say with a quick bow. "Sir?"
"Momon." He says curtly.
"Sir Momon, would you mind if I hired your party to be my escorts?" I ask again. "I'll pay you up front and for any herbs you help me acquire past my quota!"
"As tempting an offer as that is, I'll have to decline." He says.
'No!'
"Are you sure?" Another, more portly adventurer asks. I think he's Peter Mauk. Of the Swords of Darkness. "Turning down a personal request?"
"I already agreed to a venture with your group." He says. "What kind of man would I be, to break a promise so soon after making it?"
That gets a round of nods and satisfied looks from everyone in the guild hall who was listening. Even the guild lady. An adventurer with integrity, is an adventurer you can trust.
"I, understand." I say with a bow. "Another time then."
There's nothing I can say to that! Anything I say will just make me come off as whiny or spoiled to the other adventurers. And upsetting the guild is not a good idea.
"Hmm, if it means that much, perhaps a proposal?" He offers. "We could combine our tasks, split the reward from your quest between us. While keeping the reward from hunting monsters, in exchange, with such a large party. I've no doubt we could venture into more dangerous areas for more valuable ingredients."
'That's perfect!' I think with refound hope.
"That's a smart idea." Peter says. "I'm all for it!"
"Of course!" I say eagerly.
.
.
Zamaina "Inazama" POV
.
'Are talents inheritable?' I ask myself. 'Or are they completely a chance thing? Like, heterochromia? Nfirea has a broken talent by this world's standards. And Ninya has a useful one. Is it possible for someone to have multiple talents? Maybe if I could nudge the two together, argh! But Nfirea likes Enri! And she does get rather powerful, again by this world's standards. And if the godkin of the Slane Theocracy are anything to go by then power is inheritable. Even if that makes no sense genetically. Maybe it's a magic thing? Are harems acceptable in this world? Maybe I could build a harem for Nfirea. Get him to pop out a bunch of kids with powerful talent holders. Get a sample size. Yeah, that sounds doable. If not, well Demiurge does end up doing breeding experiments. Hmm.' I ponder as we make our way to the rented cart.
'I'm thinking of people as pets and livestock to be bred and cultivated. Yeah, I'm not human anymore.'
.
.
-Meanwhile, Great Tomb of Nazarick, 7th floor, the burning altar-
.
.
Demiurge POV
.
Let's see here. No, I can't do that. I'd need Lord Zamaina's involvement to make that work. I can't ask him to work on my behalf. That's a complete and unthinkable breach of conduct! Hmm, well, if were to benefit their reputation, all I'd have to do is tweak it a bit to-'
[Demiurge.] I hear Lord Zamaina speak to me.
[Yes my Lord?] I answer.
[I'm aware you're looking into breeding experiments. Correct?] He asks, much to my surprise.
'Of course he'd know! The intellect of the supreme ones is unfathomable.' I chastise myself for being surprised. 'Even if Lord Zamaina wasn't as renowned for his mind as some of the others, he is still a supreme being. To be shocked that they could piece something so simple together? Shame on you Demiurge, be better.'
[Ah, it doesn't surprise that you'd know of my plans. Yes, may ask why you wish to confirm? Perhaps you have an idea or a way to improve it?] I inquire, eager for my orders.
[I assume you read Neuronist and Neferpitou's intelligence report. There are these unique traits in this world that individuals can be born with. I was wondering, what would happen if two individuals with talents were to conceive a child? Are talents genetic? Magical? Something else entirely? If so, could we tweak that possibility to our own ends?] He proposes.
I see it! Oh I see it now! To be able to conceive an idea from something so simple?!
[You have given me much to think about and work with my Lord! My I ask how you ever came up with such a thing?] I impose slightly.
'You're getting ahead of yourself Demiurge.' I tell myself. 'Reign in your excitement. It's unbecoming in the presence of a supreme one.'
[Everyone excepts talents as something that just is. No one looks further into it. Which means that people tried, and failed, to explain it in the past. Basically, it's a widely well known phenomenon, that no one knows the workings of. A mystery, and every mystery, has an answer.]
[I thank you for the enlightenment.] I reply.
[Just a curiosity, if nothing comes of it, don't be disheartened. It may very well be a fundamental of this new world. But if it's not.] He leaves off.
[Yes! If not, there is a method behind its occurrence. Then it'd be foolish not to pursue the advantages such knowledge could give us!] I conclude.
[Precisely. I'll let you get back to your planning.] He says and cuts the line.
I place my hands on my desk. My claws threatening to dig into the material as my body shakes and quivers with pure rapture.
"Glorious. Simply, glorious!" I say as I laugh in excitement. "Oh to one day understand the inner working of the supreme mind! To be able merely gain the haziest glimpse of that unreachable pinnacle of cunning! Truly, the burden of intelligence is knowing just how much you don't know!"
To find an opportunity so well hidden in plain sight! I have no words for my awe!
I need to head to the library! I need to refresh my knowledge on the supreme one's knowledge! I will not go into this venture lacking anything!
.

-Six hours later, road to Carne Village, makeshift camp near a water spring-

Nfirea Bareare POV
.
"And that's why you don't hit on a girl's sister right after she rejects you." Lukrut says.
'Even I could've told you that.' I think to myself.
"I'm sorry about him." Dyne says. "He's normally, no, I've got nothing. He's hopeless."
"Hey! I bet I've gotten more girls than any of you!" He defends himself.
"Maybe, but a hundred copper is only worth one gold." Inazama says.
'That's only in Baharuth.' I think to myself.
"Huh?" Lukrut asks.
"He's saying that quality is greater than quantity." Momon says. "It's better to have spent your time with someone truly special, than to have wasted it on many no-account experiences."
'Don't laugh!' I tell myself.
Though it seems the rest don't have my level of restraint. And openly laugh at their ranger's expense.
"Hey! I'll have you know they were all of top quality!" Lukrut defends.
"Just because she charges you extra to put up with you, doesn't mean she's top quality. Just means she's lowering her standards for your coin." Inazama counters.
"Pfft!" I can't hold it in anymore!
"Dude, that hurts." Lukrut says.
"Sorry, it's just with how you were taking Nabe's verbal abuse, I thought you were into that sort of thing." Inazama says back.
"You would get off to be degraded you perverted worm." Nabe chimes in.
"What! No! I just admire your brutal honesty!" Lukrut cries out.
"Then you should accept that I'm being honest when I say that I would never under any circumstance willingly breathe the same air as you." She snipes back.
'Oof.' Way to kill a man on his death bed.
"I'll win you over yet my fair Lady Nabe!" Lukrut nonetheless presses.
"I hope you rot." She returns.
"Hold on." Inazama says suddenly.
"Huh? Why?" I ask.
"Hold on. I hear it too." Lukrut says, suddenly turning serious.
"Incoming." Peter says, who I learned is the other guy. The more portly guy is Dyne.
"From the forest." Dyne answers.
Turning to look at the tree line. I see a band of goblins and ogres.
"Good, I was getting bored." Inazama says as he hops onto the cart's edge. "Momon?"
"Right, any plans in mind?" Momon asks Peter.
"Hmm, thinking the usual, if we already had the cart ready. We could outpace them. So, we cut'em off."
"Turtle strategy?" Lukrut asks.
"What's that?" I ask.
"We bait them out and kill'em all. That way there's no way they can regroup later." Peter answers. "Well, that's our plan, what say you Sir Momon."
"Inazama?" He asks.
"Blitzkrieg?" He offers.
"Perfect." He says and pulls out his swords. "We'll show Nfirea why we're worth every copper."
"Right!" Lukrut says and fires an arrow, going far and missing entirely.
The goblins and ogres laugh before charging in.
"Fell for it!" He says confidently.
As they charge. Lukrut snipes an ogre down, while Ninya reinforces Peter who takes charge while Dyne starts ensnaring ogres with thorns.
Meanwhile, Momon, Inazama and Nabe just, walk past them.
"Now then, lets get this over with." He says as he takes out both his great swords!
"What the hell? He dual wielding great swords? I thought one was a backup incase the other broke or something." Lukrut exclaims.
In a flash, Momon is behind the ogre as it falls over! Split at the gut!
"Holy shit." Peter says. "Could he be orichalcum level? Or, even adamantine?"
As he says that, Inazama jumps on top of Momon and jumps up over the ogres! In one movement, five of the remaining seven ogres are dead.
"What just happened?" I ask.
As I say that, Peter gets a goblin circling around him.
"Magic arrow!" Ninya calls, killing that goblin, but gaining the attention of three others.
"Hey now!" Inazama says as he lands in front of him. Taking out his axe, imbedding it in the head of one, sweeping his leg out to trip the other, while the third just, drops to its knees in front of him.
He removes the axe from the goblin's head, decapitates the kneeling one, and stomps the head of the fallen one. Killing all three in a few seconds.
"You good?" He ask the spellcaster.
"Um, yeah, thank you." He replies.
As that happens, Nabe kills the rest of the ogres with a chain lightning spell.
'Third tier magic!?' I think incredibly. 'I only know a few second tier at best! How powerful are they?!'
As I think that. The goblins start retreating.
"Don't let them get away!" Peter calls.
"Not a problem!" Inazama says as he disappears in a blur.
And reappears closer to the goblins, my eyes barely able to track the green blur.
The goblins all collapse. And Inazama goes over to them. And starts pulling throwing knives out of their heads.
"So that's how." I mutter to myself.
"How are these guys not legends already?" Dyne asks.
.
.
-Later that night-
.
.
Zamaina "Inazama" POV
.
This stew is actually pretty good!
Food, makes staying in this form more worth it. Back in twenty one thirty eight. Genuine food was hard to come by. Even for me. We live on the more expensive and flavorful food pastes. And got to eat at banquets and special occasions. But eating real food everyday is something that only the uber wealthy enjoyed.
And nothing beats real food. Even if it could use some more meat.
"Damn, you're acting like you hardly ever eat Sir Inazama." Peter jokes.
'Because I don't.' I think to myself.
"Hey, you saw how fast I was moving. That takes a lot, can't help it if I work up an appetite." I say.
"What's the matter Nabe?" Lukrut asks. "Is it too hot? I can cool it down in my mouth if want~"
*Snap* she snapped her spoon. And I almost lose my appetite.
Almost. I fill my bowl again from the cooking pot.
"Don't mind us. We're merely observing a religious custom." He says. "It's considered impolite to eat in large groups the same day you take a life."
As he says that. Everyone turns to look at me, scarfing down my second bowl.
I stop and look at them. Feeling blush creep up my neck at the awkwardness.
"I never claimed to be religious." I say in my defense.
"Hmm, takes all kinds I suppose." Dyne says. "I'd be interested in learning more of your customs in the future."
"Another time." Momon says. "To change to subject, I'm rather curious. You call yourself the Swords of Darkness, why is that?"
"Hmm, wanna tell him Ninya?" Lukrut says with a smirk.
"No! It's embarrassing! I was so young when I came up with it!" She blushes in a cringe.
"There's nothing to be ashamed of!" Dyne says.
"Basically we named ourselves after the swords of one of the thirteen heroes." Peter says as he sets his bowl down.
[Please tell me you know who they are?] Momon messages me.
[It was in Neferpitou's report. Didn't you read it?] I get back.
[That thing was twelve pages long! And mostly detailed to way that guy reacted to various torture techniques!] He whines.
"I've never heard of them, who are they?" Nabe asks.
[Saved by the servant.] I transmit and cut the line.
"And here I thought everyone knew." Lukrut says jovially.
"Among the legendary heroes, their was one called the black knight who wielded four powerful swords known only as the swords of darkness." Ninya exclaims.
"Hmm." Nabe hums.
"When we started out together, we set out with the goal of one day finding them for ourselves." Lukrut continues.
"But, we needed a place holder in the meantime. So we carry these daggers as a symbol." Peter says, flashing us a black dagger.
"It doesn't matter that these aren't the real thing." Lukrut says as he holds up his own black dagger. "These are a symbol of us, our group, that's more important to me than any legendary blade could be."
"Hrmm, I think that's the first time Lukrut has said anything mildly meaningful." Dyne says thoughtfully.
'Lukrut almost reminds me of Peroroncino.' I think nostalgically.
"Hey! You take that back!" Lukrut says.
"Who are you and what've you done with our friend?" Peter teases.
"Shut up!" He shoots back.
'Yep, just like him.' I think as I steadily lose my appetite to the nostalgia.
'All the good times, the arguing, the raids, the quests, the roleplay, the IRL meet ups, everything. Ainz Ooal Goan, you were all I had to look forward to in life. Without you, I would've ended it all years ago.' I reminisce on the happier times. 'I wish you guys were here, I'd give anything to share this new world with all of you. Yes, even you Peroroncino, maybe not you Luci * fer.'
"You all are close, are all adventurers like this?" Nfirea asks.
'How sheltered are you?' I can't help but wonder.
"Yeah, we gotta be able to watch each others backs." Peter says.
"It also helps that we're all guys." Lukrut adds. "Having a girl on the team would be distracting~"
"You mean distracting for you." I point out.
"He's got you there Lukrut." Ninya says. "I think our greatest strength is that we all share a goal."
"You're all quite fortunate. A great deal can be achieved when a group sets their mind to one thing." Momonga adds.
"Were you on a team Sir Momon?" Ninya asks.
"Yes, we weren't adventurers. But yes, once, long ago when I was weak, alone and afraid, I was saved by a holy paladin in shining white armor. He led me to the people I would come to call my friends. It changed me, they were the greatest allies I could've ever asked for. They became family. The days we spent together, I will hold them dear to me as long as I live." Momonga finishes.
'Damn, couldn't have said it better myself.' I think sadly as I stare into the fire.
We sit in silence for a bit as everyone digest that knowledge.
"Well, I'm sure you'll find new friends and family just a great one day!" Ninya says.
I lost my appetite.
"That day will never come!" Momonga snaps before standing up. "Inazama, Nabe, I'm eating over here."
He walks as Naberal stands up.
"Yes I think I'll join you." She says.
"I'll, catch up." I say.
"I, hope you enjoy it." Peter says awkwardly.
Momonga stops to glance back at Ninya for a second, before continuing.
I just sit here and stare at the fire.
"Did, did I insult him?" Ninya asks.
…
"Sir Inazama?"
Oh, she was talking to me.
"There were forty one of us." I say. "Together for more than a decade. Back then I too was weak, alone, I felt I had no place in the world. That I was perhaps just, born in the wrong time or to the wrong people. We forty one, built a place where we each had a place. We said, if there isn't a place out there for us, we'll just make it ourselves. Of those forty one, me, and Momon are that's left."
…
"Oh, I'm sorry." Ninya says.
"It's fine, just, try not to bring it up again." I say. "It's still a sore wound. I'll go, don't want this to feel awkward for you guys."
I get up and follow after Momonga.

A/N
Zamaina's human form puts his power above a good ninety percent of foes in the new world. And well past the realm of heroes.
That being said, in a one on one Zesshi would beat him unless he set up, and even then he'd only when due to variety of gear and experience. And the entirety of the black scripture would defeat him as he's still a bit of a glass cannon. Just more so without the werewolf bulk. Blue Rose and Red Drop wouldn't be able to beat him. Maybe if they worked together.
Until he starts using his God of Lightning and Raijin abilities.
Not much you can do against the living embodiment of lightning.
As a side note. There are so many gods in older religions that have a god's "Domain" as this, this, that, oh and um, also fertility.
You can't throw a stone at wiki page on pagan gods without hitting the word Fertility tied in their somewhere.
Oh, and the websites say fertility to avoid saying, 'People would pray to this one when they were getting freaky.'
…
When I put it that way, then the Christian god is also a fertility god.

His Abilities!
Kaykaykaykayan asks: So what level would a New Worlder need to be for Zamaina to make them a werewolf?
It's less a matter of level, and more a matter of if they could actually survive a bite. Fluder would not survive, but Clementine or Gagaran might. If a level HAD to be attributed, it'd be 30ish.
The downsides of being a minmaxed melee build.
.
ETC.!
.
.
Zamaina doesn't always wear the Ring of Ainz Ooal Goan or the Ring of Sustenance. Only when in the tomb or when the sustenance is needed to stay awake. (Avoid the fatigue debuff)
That's why there's 12 rings listed instead of just 10. He constantly switches.
.
Luck effects gold and loot drops. As well as bartering.
And yeah, Zamaina is unknowingly charming people he comes across. Because he believes his 'The Gancanagh's Favor' only charms enemies. Not thinking that friendly fire would eliminate the 'Enemies' part, and turn it to 'Others'
He has that ring because he's specializes in one v one. Almost all of his spells are single target. His multi-target and AOE spells are few and far between. So the ring helped him deal with getting summons out of the way.
So far the people charmed by the ring are, Nferia, Lukrut, Ninya, that one goblin he decapitated, and a bunch of random people he's passed in the streets.
The reason Enri or the Villagers of Carne aren't on this list, is because Fear and Courage counteract Charm.
.
He intended to give Dracula's Fang to Tsukune. But since no one ever made it to the eighth floor he kept it for himself for the speed boost and life drain. Only ever lending it to Tsukune when the massive 800 player raid occurred.
He has, A LOT of gear he intended to hand out, but just never did. Mostly because he either kept it for himself, or he forgot.
.
The reason Hainu's Cuirass is so different in theme to the rest. Is because it's a homage to my dog Pac. He's 15 and I've had him all his life, I'm 23. And his health is deteriorating fast.
So, here's a little permeant tribute to him.
.
The parts about The Morrigan and The Dragda's flavor text is suppose to allegorical. The Morrigan represents duty, chaos, war, death. Everything you need to prepare for in life. And The Dragda represents the opposite, peace, reward, creation, life. Their two flavor texts are supposed mean something like.
"Those with great ambition and prowess, encounter challenge and strife."
And
"Those who overcome their challenges and strife, find themselves all the more rewarded for it."
But. This is the new world, where lore and flavor text become a bit more, literal.
Also. If some things aren't "IRL Lore accurate." Oh well. They weren't accurate Overlord anyway. Ginnungagap is a location not a weapon. And the god Shalltear worships for her cleric abilities? Is Cainable, they took Cain and Able, and mashed him into one being, and made him a vampire god.
Yggdrasil took a lot of creative liberties.
