She is half Phoenix, and she is living in the Shinra Building and never allowed outside because her powers are too dangerous. She sneaks out to meet new friends or foes. Sephiroth is a strict brother to Cyrus, and he had to make sure she is kept safe from outsiders...even Hojo. One day when they are going to Nibelheim, things get confusing and out of hand.

People were running and screaming, more dead on the floor, the alarm system turned on and in the entire corridor spilled red light. Rufus himself could see something huge coming through the window, before he managed to cover his face it blew away the windows. The men keeping him safe fell at his sides, dead.

His eyes were thoughtful, and it had nothing to do with breaking the rules. A war was coming, it was here already. A few years ago a disaster happened, they barely survived. But this time, Lucrecia joins him on his quest. Meanwhile, a sailing endeavor goes horribly wrong, as does a mother-daughter trip to Eros Nova. Rated M for violence, nudity, and profanity.

Reno put gloves and mask on, got a sterile glass jar and a syringe from the storage, also one of the devices he used to make the portable shield. A single drop caused an explosion that made the table and all the containers crack. If it wasn't the shield he would die at that very same moment.

Cloud did join Shinra, but he just did his tour and got out. Once discharged, he moved under the plate, earning gil by doing odd jobs and monster hunting in the wastes around Midgar. On this particular day, it wasn't a monster he found, but a shot-to-hell SOLDIER who wasn't quite dead. A story of building a new life, gaining new friends, and a past that isn't quite done. "Calm down and act reasonably!" Rude took his gun from his hands by force and kept it away. "Reasonably? I swear, I will…" "…Shut your mouth" Rude finished for him. "Childhood ends the day you realize you are going to die. This is Shinra, not a summer camp. There is one way of getting out of here, you know which is it."

"She is too young to be here" Reno left the pen and raised his legs on the desk. "When we joined, we were twice her age." "Times are difficult. Shinra needs every single unit it could afford." "Not kids, man. I am also surprised Barret left her join after what happened with her parents."

"Dear mother of god" Rude whispered. Green was reflecting on his glasses. Reno's fingers started tingling from even being close to the stream, his eyes started glowing, he could feel how damaged bones in his body hardened, the skin healed, at some point he felt such a rush of energy that his heart couldn't take it, he made a few steps back.

"You pick your last words carefully." Soldier laughed, but he didn't know one thing. When Cloud was done with the bullshit, he was really done. His sword's parts united, he spun . Blood spilled when the torso aparted and fell on the ground. "Next time think before you talk about Tifa like that."

"Reno to base, we are at sector 5, there are…" A kick removed the phone from his hand, he had no time to react when the same gun pointed at him and shot. He fell on the ground next to Rude. It was the shoulder, not as fatal as a cut artery, but it hurt like hell. He was lying on the dirty wet ground and tried to realize where the hell he was.

"I can't do my job when you are acting like a child!" Rude lost it. "And I can't do my job when you avoid the direct order, risking both mine and your life, entering unprepared at an endangered zone, and not trusting my call. Damn, I feel like an idiot explaining obvious things! People expect such things from me, not you!"

"This is not a training! I repeat, this is not a training! All available Soldiers on duty! Away from chopper's airfield! Be ready to leave in a few minutes after Turks!" Reno put his headphones on and got the chopper in the air. "We have a psychopath out here, and I am more than willing to empty one or two mags in his feather ass! Belt on, partner, it will shake."
