Have you ever thought there is more to life? Like you just want to forget the past and move somewhere new to have a clean slate? Follow Alex as he goes down this Grimm journey with terrible beasts and strange creatures.

The void.

Darkness... It's very common in real life, but here, it's the only thing that exists... except for me, who has somehow ended up here. The last thing I remember before arriving here was going home from the gaming cafe and then being attacked by a strange giant dog. It looked like a werewolf, but I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. That was before it tore into me.

"Oh shit," Alex says as he sees the thing and tries to run. Before the thing pounces upon him and rips him open by the belly in broad daylight for all to see, Alex's eyes dim, and he says one final thing: "Damnit, not now. I just got a series I wanted to watch." As he says this, his arms act on their own, moving slowly yet out of sight of the Lycan before plunging his fingers into its eye sockets. "Now, why do I see a moon?" Alex says, before the now blood-red moon appears in broad daylight.

And it seems to split open before more beasts emerge from alleys, buildings, and the crowd surrounding my body. Before what I could assume is my spirit, still covered in beast blood, is drawn into the blood moon.*

and that's what i could remember before being dragged here, bit grim i know but it was my life... how long has it been now, feels like seconds, but also felt like years, could be either, could also be longer

*some amount of time later*

a pale white light fills the void for the first time ever as i try to raise my hands to block the light only to realise i had non, i was just a mass, and this ẗ̸̢̠͍́͘h̶̯̮͛̈́́̚í̸̛͇̖̃ṇ̷͓͊̓͝g̸͉̹̫͔̈́ appeared, it wasn't tentacles like some lovecraftian horror you'd expect in this situation, instead it was a d̷̹͔͐ǫ̴̇̽́l̷̺̼̳͊ḷ̸̪͒̈́, in victorian era maid dressing, pale skin (similar to blood drained skin), pale white hair, but instead of a natural eye colour like green or blue, her eyes are as red as blood, or now that i look at it as red as that d̶̪͊̚r̶͔̦͎̃̔͆e̶̦̿a̸̹͇͂d̷̠̱͓̉f̵̛̦̈̌͜u̸͇̜͊l̶̡̘̽̕ͅ ̶̪̳̆̓̑m̴̛̩̓o̶̮̦͎͆͂͛ō̸̲͙͙͂̑n̴̖͗̀

"Hello there, good hunter," *the d̷̹͔͐ǫ̴̇̽́l̷̺̼̳͊ḷ̸̪͒̈́ says, with a voice that both soothes my soul and makes it afraid.* "You seem promising for the task you're about to undertake."

"Task? What task, and why is it calling me a good hunter?" I think, my mind faintly recalling the figure from my time on Earth, although it's just escaping my mind.

"i shall grant you my blood, and you shall venture forth into a world, you will earn a new life, whilst hunting beasts that threaten humanity, all you need to do is sign this contract" *as she says that, a contract appears in her hand, the paper being yellowed in age and the writing is blood red but something in the blood makes it shimmer matt black like fur*

'Wha-' As I see this happening, I notice that I have a form again and have a mouth... "Who are you?"

The doll has a soft, almost motherly smile. "Well, good hunter, my name is f̷̛̗̲̌l̶̞̖̍̍o̵͕̘͛́r̶͎̉a̷̤͝͝."

*as soon as she said that word blood somehow emerged from my spectral eyes and ears and i writhe in pain, some blood lands on the signing segment of the contract*

*the d̷̹͔͐ǫ̴̇̽́l̷̺̼̳͊ḷ̸̪͒̈́ looks at the contract* "that will do just fine, hope you do well good hunter"

*as she says this an even brighter space than this white light emerged beneath me which i drop into*

*the d̷̹͔͐ǫ̴̇̽́l̷̺̼̳͊ḷ̸̪͒̈́ is left alone in the void as the portal vanishes* "and let's hope your fate isn't as grimm as your last life"
