It was a beautiful sunny day as Tai Lung walked out of the hot springs of the shared cave. He wrapped a towel around his waist before going to the bedroom seeing Lien sleeping peacefully. Without disturbing her he went to her side of their bed picking up her empty cup of tea and paused hearing her moan in pain. "Another headache." Said Tai Lung sitting down. Lien slowly turned on her back looking at him still tired as he placed his paw on her forehead feeling her skin a bit moist. "I'll be fine. Im just dehydrated." Said Lien sitting up. "You sure? Because i dont want my wife to faint on me or on the others." Said Tai Lung. "That was one time after we fought the crocodile thieves last week." Said Lien throwing the blanket off her body. She walked past him seeing his eyes following her move on her way to the bathroom. Tai Lung shook his head before going to the dresser to change in his human form. He put on some black puffy pants with a white band fitting up to his waist then threw on a sleeveless shirt that matches. On his way out he saw the small hand painted portrait of him and Lien on their wedding. Lien wore a light blue kimono dress with lavender lining, flower patterns at the bottom of her dress and sleeves, lastly were the yellow butterflies which Lien wanted it to symbolize her parents who did what they could to protect her and Oogway who raised her. "Lien. Im going to get you more water and some breakfast." Said Tai Lung. "Okay." Said Lien. He stepped out their home cracking his neck before looking around anything out of the ordinary. Everything looked fine but he had other thoughts and kept it to himself. He walked towards the shadows of the trees near the cave finding himself in the empty Dragon Hall. Tai Lung went outside seeing the five talking until Monkey spotted him. "Raaz. Good to see you. Wheres Lien? Is she doing okay?" Said Monkey. "Just woken up to a headache and felt her body heated up. Im just getting her some water and breakfast." Said Tai Lung walking towards them. "Has she seen a shaman? Its not normal for her to be sick." Said Viper. "Probably from that canon hit last year. It did do a number on her." Said Mantis jumping onto Tai Lung's shoulders. "No. Its not. When she is in pain then she just take the hot springs all day." Said Tigress. "Thats true. She's has changed lately. Right?" Sais Crane. "Whatever is going on. Im sure Lien will tell us. I'll see if i can get Lien to join us." Said Tai Lung passing them. He headed down to the kitchen and saw Po enjoying Monkeys cookies then paused seeing him. "Youre not going to tell Monkey about it right?" Said Po with his mouth full. "He knows. Im just here to get something for Lien." Said Tai Lung. "Is she still sick? Is she dying?" Said Po until Tai Lung gave him a death stare. "Sorry. Im just as worried as everyone here. One day she fine then bam sickness takes over." He says. "Im taking care of her. Im married to her remember after all you ate three bowls of the hot red bean soup with lotus seeds and four sweet buns during the ceremony." Said Tai Lung grabbing a basket of fruit. "And i was sorry after Shifu paralyzed my body and Tigress dragging me away from the buffet table before you two walked down the aisle." Said Po walking off after belching loudly. Tai Lung later grabbed Liens large canteen filling it with water and made his way back outside.
He heard Shifu talking with someone near the training quad. "Perhaps its all an illness. We all have gotten them." Said Shifu opening the wooden doors. "True but this is different which is why im here." Said Soothsayer walking out. She looked at Tai Lung and smiled then glanced to see Lein using her glider to fly over them and land near by. "Did i miss anything?" Said Lien. "No. You both are just in time. But Soothsayer is here to talk to you two." Said Shifu. Lien and Tai Lung looked at each other before following Soothsayer down close to the Peach Tree sitting on a wooden bench. "How are you two doing?" Said Soothsayer. "Great other than my body through changes. Feeling sore on my chest and back." Said Lien as Soothsayer held her hoof up. She took out her bowl from her shawl and few in some powders and swirling it around. "What do you see?" Said Soothsayer ahowing them the mixed powder. They both looked seeing the white powder at the bottom with two layers of powder of different colors. "That looks like . . . " Tai Lung then looked at Lien in shock while she covered her mouth and nose with both hands tearing up. Soothsayer smiled as Shifu walked towards them. "Is everything fine?" Said Shifu then looked into the bowl. He looked at Soothsayer then at Tai Lung and Lien surprised. "This is going to be challenging for you and your students." Said Shifu. "Students?" Said Lien looking at him. "Yes. Students. You two and Po are the new Masters of the Jade Palace." Said Shifu. "Im sure we can figure out something but now we need to keep this between the four of us until the time is right." Said Lien. "Thats your decision." Said Shifu smiling at the two before going to the Peach Tree to meditate. Lien went over to Soothsayer hugging her and stood up. "Thank you for coming Soothsayer." Said Tai Lung getting up as well. "No need. My senses are never wrong." Said Soothsayer. She gathered her powder back into the sack and put her bowl away. "I'll leave you something in your home before i go back to the city." Said Soothsayer. Lien and Tai Lung went to the Dragon Hall after hearing some crashes and screaming. Tai Lung let Lien inside first and stopped once they saw the five going to Po injured and on fire. Just Tigress who held her arm and her ear was on fire until Lien blew it out. "Did you learn something?" Said Po. "That Tigress can feel pain and flammable." Said Tai Lung as something fell and broke. "Everyone go get yourselves healed and rest." Said Lien. "Yes Master Lien." Said the Five. They moved outside the best they can leaving the three new Masters alone. "Im not cut for this. You two can be better Masters than me." Said Po looking at Lien and Tai Lung. "Dont give up. You can do this plus we have things that we're dealing with too." Said Lien. "Really what? Are you cured of whatever you caught?" Said Po. "No. Soothsayer explained what was going on with Lien and we cant say just yet." Said Tai Lung leading Lien out as the Hall began to smoke.
