Seaweed's School

Today was the school dismissal of Seaweed's first day and Kombu is seen reading by the school gate. The book in question was said to be an almanac detailing most if not all, Heroes of the Association.

She started with the pages of Class-C Heroes, then came across the Class B Heroes. The Executives of the Heroes Association did not waste any effort in raising her and Seaweed's rank whenever they found themselves solving a monster crisis.

Right now, they are sitting in Class-B's top 50 Heroes and fast whenever they're active in hero duty...

After Seaweed was spotted, she'd go to Kombu and the latter asked, "How was it?"

"It was good, I've made a lot of friends, signed papers, and played games during break," Seaweed explained, then she showed a drawing, "I also drew this by hand instead of my powers,"

Kombu took the drawing and noticed that it was herself, Seaweed on her shoulders, and Mew on top of the latter's head. She seemed happy, but felt somewhat bothered as she turned to her, "You still want to find Mew, huh?"

"Yeah, I know Sensei is strong and all. But it's been days since they disappeared," Seaweed admitted, "So I'm worried,"

"I'm sure they're fine," Kombu assured, "Besides, don't you recall that in an old report? Mew was considered as the most powerful and elusive creature in the entire world?"

"Not really," Seaweed said as she never read the report,

"Well, it was said that before our enlistment. Heroes of the Association spent most of their free time trying to find Mew due to how they always help people unlike any monster," Kombu summarized, "It assumed many forms, and the heads of the Association wanted to study their motives and behavior for weeks. The only time they managed to do so was when we brought Mew near their doorstep,"

"You mean that meeting about something bad happening in six months?" Seaweed inquired,

"That's the one," Kombu clarified,

"I get that, but... With Mew-sensei missing for the past week makes me worried," Seaweed admitted,

"Just give it some time, I'm sure there'll be a report about Mew appearing anytime soon," Kombu assured,

Moments later, they heard a sudden cry of civilians and the two went and investigated what was going on. Upon arrival, they deadpan stare at the monster wreaking havoc among the civilians and soon spot the two together.

"Well, if it isn't the traitor of Monster kind!" The Monster recognized, "Have you finally come to atone for your treachery?"

"Ugh, so you're one of those guys," Kombu remarked while pinching the bridge of her nose,

After Kombu registered as a Hero, they also revealed that she was a monster turned human with extraordinary abilities, and every monster across the entire world was itching to find and fight her for being a traitor among monster kind.

"Look, I'm in no mood for any of this nonsense. So how about you leave before I pummel you to the ground?" Kombu requested,

"Hmph! Like hell I'd ignore you!" The monster yelled, "Should I beat you, it'll bolster my reputation! Then all of the monster kind will know the name of-"

Before it could finish its sentence, Kombu struck the monster then the eye could blink and what followed was a barrage of punches that pummeled the monster to a pulp. Seaweed just watched while the civilians around them were baffled.

As soon as Kombu finished, the monster fell to the ground while she whipped her hair to the back of her shoulder. There was silence amongst the crowd, but what followed a second later was the people applauding Kombu for her heroic deed.

'Great, now they're going to hound all over us before we could get home. This is such a bother, being a hero,' Kombu complained,

Seaweed didn't have to read her mind to understand what she was feeling. As she looked at civilians closing in on them, her eyes began to glow in pink color and what happened next was unexpected...

...

...

They both teleported from the street...

City - Z

Kombu and Seaweed soon appeared by the entrance of City-Z's Ghost Town and the former whips her head around with a perplexed look in her eyes,

After she registers the fact that they indeed are near City - -Z's Ghost Town, she turns to Seaweed, whose glowing eyes start to fade and a sigh escapes from her lips, "Seaweed, did you just..."

"Huh? Oh, I thought you were uncomfortable by the people gathering around us after you've beaten that monster," Seaweed thought, "So I used what Mew taught me to do and just... Brought us home, no problem. Was I not supposed to do it?"

Kombu just stared at her, then she eased down and ruffled her hair with a smile. Afterward, they held hands and walked back to their apartment building.

"You'll be getting something special for tonight," Kombu announced,

"Really?! I can't wait!" Seaweed expressed, and Kombu let out a heartfelt chuckle,

Meanwhile...

Beneath the sea, miles away from the mainland, was a large aquatic monster that even sea predators and lesser monsters wouldn't dare to cross. It swam for miles to no end, then sensed something from the sea bed.

It continues its descent and soon this creature glows with a familiar light, and what was formed is none other than the world's most powerful creature, Mew.

As for what it finds from the sea bed, it appears to be a black cube and contains the voice it heard once before. Mew shrouds the cube with psychic energy and ascends from the water.

Upon reaching the surface, Mew had brought the cube up as well. But the one who retrieved it was a hero it met the other night, Blast.

He'd claim the cube from them and send it to a place where no one may reach it.

"You're certainly useful for my search, Little one," Blast remarked, "Retrieving that cube from the sea bed would've proved difficult with my abilities alone,"

"Mew!" Mew gleefully expressed,

"However, there's still more of these cubes out there since this 'God' is bent on spreading its influence by offering deals to humans and monsters," Blast remarked,

"Mew?" Mew mouthed in confusion,

"Whenever this 'God' offers a deal to a human, there'll be two outcomes should they accept it," Blast explained as he understood Mew's tongue, "They are granted exponential power, or they're collected if they're unworthy of its power. Regardless of both outcomes, they're chained to its will and bring about destruction in its name,"

Mew just tilted its head, rather neutral towards Blast's description,

However, their conversation was cut short when Blast received a transmission from his end and turned to Mew after, "It looks like I'm needed elsewhere. Until we meet again,"

Blast clasped his fists together, formed an infinity symbol from his gauntlets, and conjured a Spatial Bubble around him. After the bubble closed, Mew couldn't detect his presence within its psychic range.

Though Mew wasn't bothered by his disappearance and soared through the skies, making its way back to the mainland. But along the way, it sensed strong levels of energy nearby and stopped within a cloud.

It then peeked its head from the bottom of the cloud and gazed upon the sea. Before long, a concentrated beam of energy surges out of the water and heads straight for Mew.

Mew teleports to avoid the beam, and what merged from the water was a feral aquatic monster.

After its roar, another surge of energy accumulates within its mouth, and Mew resorts to accumulating the same amount of energy above its forehead. What followed was the release of their attacks and a clash in the middle.

Normally, the beams would explode in the middle. But Mew's beam was much more concentrated than the monster's and exploded upon impact.

Mew then descends from the sky to examine the aquatic monster closer. It sensed weak energies resonating within its body, putting the aquatic monster in agony.

It pitied the monster's condition, and resorts to cleansing these energies within. The process was long and careful, but Mew succeeded and the result led to its de-transformation.

The aquatic monster in question was a large whale, and let out an echoing groan as it swam away. Mew understood as it whirled around with glee, then ventured back to the mainland.

Meanwhile...

Genos had finished his fight with a robot, G4, and brought whatever parts he managed to salvage for Dr. Kuseno to take apart and integrate with Genos' cybernetic body.

The latter questioned whether he had found clues about the cyborg that attacked his home and killed his family, especially when he mentioned that he'd been frequently working as a hero rather than finding the cyborg. Genos admits that he hasn't tracked it down at all, but soon reiterates that he'll find that cyborg that destroyed villages and took countless lives, and destroy it himself, whatever it takes.

Though Dr. Kuseno's expression hasn't changed, he still shows his concern for Genos since his youth brings disaster and such. After a simple promise to not fight the cyborg head-on, Dr. Kuseno changes the topic.

"That reminds me, what of that creature that was from outer space?" Dr. Kuseno inquired, "Since you're always close to it, I'd like to know what it's like from your perspective?"

"It's as small as a cat, but its powers are beyond any monsters I've faced in the past," Genos said, "Saitama-sensei may be the only hero who stands a chance as every other hero would be beaten by it. Not even Class - S, Tatsumaki, could stand a chance in terms of psychic power, so it was said from the report,"

"I have heard of that hero before," Dr. Kuseno said, "And admittedly, I wish to see this creature myself. It's often rare for a monster to help humanity than destroy it. Even rarer, when you, yourself, wouldn't fight it,"

"Saitama-sensei had clarified that Mew isn't a threat," Genos stated, "And I believe him and in his ability to restrain it on the first sign of trouble,"

"If that's what you say," Dr. Kuseno said, and started repairing Genos' cybernetic body,

The Following Night

Kombu was preparing today's breakfast and Seaweed is in the middle of a telepathic session with Deoxys. The two just stared at each other as their session happened in the mind, not outside.

She normally prefers Mew's teachings, but Deoxys emits a unique level of psychic energies and explores said energy to boost her overall power. But when comparing the two, Deoxys' lessons were far more complex than Mew's...

'I just hope that this doesn't interfere with her studies,' Kombu expressed and served tonight's meal in three separate bowls, which were homemade ramen noodles.

She then used her hair to lift these hot bowls and place them on the table. One whiff of its aroma causes Seaweed to snap out of today's session with Deoxys and whips her head towards the bowl, "Ramen!"

Seaweed quickly grabbed her chopsticks, and split them apart with her hands instead of her psychic energy, "Thanks for the meal!"

As the two ate away today's dinner, Deoxys just stared at the steaming bowl since lack certain organs to feast on human food and this bowl was reserved for Mew in case it came back for the night.

To preserve its warmth, Deoxys picked out a smaller bowl from the kitchen counter, placed it on top of the steaming bowl of ramen, and wrapped it with a psychic barrier. Kombu and Seaweed would take notice but paid no mind to its actions.

Just feel generous since this bowl of ramen is indeed reserved for Mew. They're also aware that Deoxys requires no sustenance like most creatures, just the self-replenishment of its psychic energy in its core form.

Once Kombu and Seaweed finished their meal, they'd take a bath, switch to their pajamas, and sleep on the same bed after one of them turned off the light. Deoxys remains awake since it doesn't sleep like most creatures.

Keeping the ramen warm and watching over the girls were the only things it could do since this world, or rather this galaxy, is not the same back where it's been.

Moments later, Mew arrives within the room and Deoxys turns to it phase through the balcony door. The latter then released its barrier and the former quietly feasted on tonight's meal.

But as Mew ate, Deoxys struck up a conversation via telepathy.

"Where were you all this time? The Young Girl's been wondering where you were all this time," Deoxys said,

"I was helping another hero at the time," Mew admitted, "Searching for cubes to the one we followed here"

"What have you learned?" Deoxys inquired,

"The hero says that the creature is called 'God'. A monster that bestows powers to all life who finds these cubes," Mew explained, "But this 'God' chains them to their will,"

"But for what purpose does this 'God' want with our home?" Deoxys questioned,

"That remains a mystery," Mew admitted, "Quite fun, don't you think?"

"It won't be should we discover its intentions to this world and ours," Deoxys remarked,

"Don't worry, we'll stop it's plan before 'it' succeeds," Mew assured,

"Then what? We'll return to our world again? What of the girl?" Deoxys inquired,

Mew turns to Seaweed as she sleeps comfortably in Kombu's arms, then back at Deoxys, "We'll find out after we solve the problem,"

With that, Mew finished dinner and went to the balcony to rest while Deoxys reverted to its core form to pass the time.

"Um... Mew-sensei," Seaweed muttered in her sleep, and the night passed as usual,

That's the first chapter of the second volume, and the next chapter will revolve around a certain Group Leader and Ninja...

However, the focus will mostly be on Kombu, Seaweed, and Deoxys while Mew has less. I'm aware of the story's title but know that the Saitama was given the same treatment in his story.

Second, you may have noticed a few odd things in the story: Seaweed capable of teleportation, Deoxys and Mew talking like normal, and Kombu being treated like a traitor to monsters.

Well here are your answers, Seaweed learned that from Mew, Deoxys and Mew are Psychic Pokemon who will talk through their usual tone when around people, and Kombu's identity as a monster turned human was spread by the Heroes Association.

If any one of you asks any more questions, feel free to ask. I'm more than happy to answer them.

And finally, it's time for the usual 'Who's that Pokemon'! And here are the hints: Deep Sea and Whale

That is all I have to say, and I'll see you all in the next update!
