"Girls, meet your newest sister." Issei says as walk he walks out his room. "This is Hecate, she is my newest pawn."
Hecate walks out of the room to see four girls, the first was a raven-haired nekomata, the second a shorter blonde girl with drill-like pigtails, the third was a raven-haired fallen angel, a martial artist of Chinese descent that looks very much like Chun-Li, and lastly was a tiger girl with white hair.
"Welcome!" The girls all say in tandem. After which each of the girls all give them their names and the piece they represent.
"I also have my familiars whom you will meet in time. Right now I want you to get acquainted with your new sisters, while I continue visiting my friend. The one was planning on visiting when I bumped into you. Girls, show her a good time!"
The girls nod as Issei leaves the apartment and quickly runs to the door of Sona. He stares at the numbers on the door, 220. He knocks on the door, and after a couple of moments the door slowly opens. "Hello… What are you doing here?!"
Standing in the door was Sona Sitri, heiress to the house of Sitri. She has short black hair and large magenta colored eyes that are magnified by her large glasses. Her body, well not as big as most of the girls in Issei peerage, was still beautiful in its own right. She was wearing a simple gray shirt, that hung off of her shoulders, and a gray checkered skirt.
"Just visiting my neighbor, can't a guy visit his neighbor?"
"If you have some kind of ulterior motive then you can go away. I will not betray Rias."
"Who said anything about the Gremory heiress? I'm simply here with a proposal, I only want two things from you."
"I won't give you what you want if it means betraying my best friend."
"No, no, nothing like that. I simply want to play a game of chess and if I win you comply with my demands. If I lose then you go about your business as if I was never here."
He knew what chess meant to Sona, what was always on the line for her in a chess game. Still though he knew she could never refuse a challenge when it came to chess, the board game was her element and she was very confident in her skills.
"Fine!" Sona finally says after a good five minutes of staring at Issei. She steps aside allowing him to walk through the door. " Make yourself comfortable. I just finished making dinner. Would you like some vegetable soup?"
"Yes, thank you!" Issei says as he looks around the apartment. It was very much similar to his, the dining room kitchen and living room all being one big space, with the bedroom and bathroom off to the side. The thing that differed is the way it was decorated. A large TV stand with multiple drawers and a 42 inch flat screen. A black sofa with a large coffee table in front of it and a dining table off to the side next to the kitchen. On the wall were various pictures of her with her older sister Serafall, pictures of her and Rias as children, and even a few more recent ones.
Issei sits down on the sofa as she grabs two bowls from the kitchen cupboards. She quickly fills them both with soup and before setting them down on the coffee table. She then goes back to the kitchen," would you like anything to drink? I've got some green tea that is brewing!"
"A cup of tea would be lovely." After a moment she sets two mugs on the table. The one in front of Issei was just a simple white mug, but the one in front of Sona was a mug with a red maned unicorn on the front. Not something Issei pictured her having but the red main was the color of Rias's hair. Sona goes to the TV stand and pulls out an ornately carved wood box from one of the drawers.
Upon opening the box it is revealed to be an ornately carved wooden chess set. The white pieces resembled angels, while the black pieces resembled that of the devils. "Black or white?"
"Either one is fine," Issei says as he takes a bite of the soup that she had made. He had to admit she was an incredible cook. "This is really good!"
"Thanks," Sona says as finishes setting up the chess board, setting herself as black and Issei as white. "Very well Issei, the first move is yours."
Issei stares down at the board for a moment, before moving his pawn to C4." Your move!"
"Ahh the English Opening! Interesting indeed!" Sona says as she moves her own pawn to D5. "What are your intentions with this chess game?"
"Just a friendly match!"
"Yet when you started this game you made it very clear that you had a couple of ulterior motives."
"Let's focus on the game!"
"You do realize what's at stake for me should I lose."
"Are you so uncertain of your skills that you're already conceding defeat?"
"Of course not!"
"Good I am glad that you're not giving up in the presence of your better, Sona!"
"Excuse me! I don't know who you think you are. I never lose! "
"First time for everything princess!" Issei says moving his rook in to capture one of her bishops.
Sona stares down at the board thinking while thinking of how she could be so careless. Was Issei's taunts getting to her, no she had been taunted by many opponents before, how was he any different.
"Are you really as good as your reputation? Such a mistake is unbecoming for someone of your skill."
Man he was irksome! Was he gonna taunt her the entire match? Something about him was infuriating, and she couldn't quite figure it out. Was it his blatant humiliation and mocking of her best friend? Was it how he had done all that, and still had the gall to challenge her to a chess game, knowing what she was risking should she lose?
"Having a hard time princess? I can see the look in your eyes, it's a look of fear."
"Shut up!" Sona says moving in a knight to take one of his bishops, knocking it with more force then she needed.
"Such aggression is unbecoming of a lady!" Issei says calmly moving his queen back to protect his king.
She slowly grows angrier as Issei continues to taunt her every chance he gets. However that anger came at price, she was getting sloppy with her moves and becoming more predictable.
"Why must you be so irritating?" She asks, the tone of her voice making it very apparent that she is angry. Her anger had cost her to make a couple of rookie mistakes. The biggest being only having a rook and knight guarding her King which was sitting at A1. The rook was sitting directly across from it at H1 and her knight was directly in front of it at A2.
All it takes for Issei to secure victory is to move his queen from E4 to H1." Check!"
It takes the Sitri heiress a moment to process his words. Was she really about loss? She studies the board for a moment. Issei had both his rooks at A6 and B7, while his queen was at H1. She had a couple of different pieces that she could move that would block the queen, including both of her bishops and her remaining rook. She had her own queen, however it was in the same position. No matter which one of those she moved, his queen could just take it out, resulting in a checkmate.
The realization hits her that she had lost. Whether she liked it or she now had to agree to his terms, and become his bride. The thought was appalling!
"Okay the only thing that I want is entry into Kuoh Academy For myself and my peerage!
If that's all, then it can be easily "arranged." Sona replies to Issei
"Yea that's all I wanted, and I expect to hear back from you on the answer by the end of the week." Issei says as heads to the door.
Sona is about to ask him his intentions but is cut off by Issei. "I live in apartment 214, I'll see you around my precious fiance."
As Issei walks through the door, a crack is heard. Sona stares down her hand as a mixture of hot tea and blood drips down it, only the handle of the mug and a few shards of porcelain resting in her hands. She had cracked the Unicorn mug, "shit Rias won't be happy."

Haruko couldn't wait to get home as she had a rather grueling day at School. She had to deal with a particularly difficult math test, followed by the usual antics of the Pervert Duo during kendo club. She turns the corner of the block, and when she notices something unusual. About eight black cars going up the street. As she walks down she takes note of one car that had the symbol of a Yakuza family on it, though she wasn't sure which family it belonged to.
She quickly walks towards her house, while keeping her head down. She clearly didn't want any contact with the Yakuza. Upon reaching the front gates, she notices two men in suits and dark glasses leaving her home. From all of the cars outside she can clearly tell these men were Yakuza, but why were they coming out of her house? What did they want with her and her mother?
As she passes by the two men, she notices her mother standing in the doorway. Her mother stares at her for a few minutes before quickly ushering her inside. "Mom, what were they doing here?"
"Sit down Haruko! We have much to discuss!"
Haruko does as she is told," okay mom why was the Yakuza at our house?"
"Because your father owes them a lot of money, they were here to collect it!"
Haruko was having trouble processing her mother's words. Her mother had always told her that her father left when she was 9 years old. Since then it had just been her and her mother. She had always resented her father for leaving but had never truly known why he left.
"Your father left to protect us from the Yakuza. Your father lost his job shortly after he and I found out that I was pregnant. It took him a while but he finally started bringing in a source of income, saying he had found another job. I only found out much later that he was borrowing money from the Yakuza. When the debt became two outstanding, he left."
"And now they expect us to pay back what father owes? Just how much do they expect us to pay?"
" a little over 100 million yen?"
"What do we do Mom?"
" I don't know, but I will try my hardest to find a way to come up with the money. They're giving us a month to come up with the money!"
" Is there anything I can do to help Mom? I'll give up Kendo Club and get a job after school if that helps!"
"No Haruko, don't do that. I will find a way to come up with the money I promise, you just continue going to school and focus on your studies. I will get a second job, a third job."
Haruko had no choice but to listen to her mother, however all she could really do was pray for a miracle.
