Sad Story of the Sun Dragon Brawler
Team SSSN and MIME are walking towards the ballroom where team RWY are there setting up the decorations, reason for this because Beacon's second-year team CFVY were supposed to do the setting up for the dance, but the mission they are currently on is taking long than planned and won't be back for a while.
"I hope they don't mind if we come to see how the setup is going." Ibuki said.
"I'm sure it's fine, the dance is tomorrow, so a quick peak wouldn't hurt anyone." Scarlet proclaimed.
"Plus, I'm sure they wouldn't mind us visiting them." Mika added.
They enter the ballroom seeing most of the place has been decorated for the dance tomorrow night, and they can see Yang and Weiss arguing while Ruby is looking sad on a table.
"If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines!" Weiss glared at Yang who glares back at her.
"Your dance is gonna have fog machines?" Neptune asked getting their attention.
"We were thinking about it." Weiss smiled quickly when she saw Neptune.
"Cool." Sage looked forward to seeing that.
"Wow, you girls did a great job getting this place ready for the dance." Ibuki impressed as she looks around.
"Thanks, these were originally planned by Velvet and her team, and some might be from our own ideas." Yang explained.
"I am so excited that we're all going to be together for the big dance to join in harmony in one big place!" Elena excited and performed her signature upside-down pose.
"I can see you foot is 'up' for the event!" Yang punned and Sun laughs with her a bit.
"Yeah, can't wait to see how you'll 'boom' tomorrow night!" Sun pointed at the large speaker box next to Yang for the joke making everyone laughs.
"You ladies all excited to pretty in the eyes of the men?" Ibuki asked.
"Yeah, right." Ruby rolled her eyes.
"Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night!" Yang bragged.
"I know I will." Sun winked at Yang causing her to blush a little and Menat giggles.
"What are you all going to be wearing?" Weiss asked.
"Well, ladies with dresses and the guys with the tuxedos, as for me…" Sun paused.
"Now Sun, you have to wear the suit your mom got you for the dance and you can't hide it because she'll be there to help you put it on." Menat reminded him.
"I can't help if I don't like wearing suits. Hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly a shirt-and-tie kind of place." Sun explained to RWY.
"We know, silly! We also grew up on Vacuo and survived the intense heat." Mika flexed her muscles.
"There's also the part that you don't have to worry about showing some skin." Elena added.
"So, have you guys managed to get Blake to come for the dance or is she still on with the White Fang stuff?" Sun asked concern.
"Obviously." Weiss said upset and crossed her arms together.
"Damn, that girl needs to get back into her own life." Scarlet commented.
"We all thought of that, but I still can't think of a way to change her mind." Ruby worried that the prediction from Menat's crystal ball will end up coming true.
"Guys. Trust me; Blake will be at the dance tomorrow." Yang promised as she walked past everyone.
"You got a plan?" Sun asked.
"You betta." Yang smirked full of confident.
(Later)
Sun is seen walking around the school through the hallways because he was bored and wanted to see if he can find something fun to do, and Mika is with him as he agreed to have a sparring match with him.
"I hope they haven't closed the combat arena yet, there is this move I was hoping to get it down before anything else." Mika said.
"I'm sure we got plenty of time for that." Sun hoped he's right.
"Yang, if you're going to tell me to stop, you may as well save your breath." Blake's voice said coming from a lecture hall.
This got Sun and Mika's attention they lean close to an edge of the door to see Yang is sitting on a desk and Blake is also there looking angry at her partner.
"I don't want you to stop; I want you to slow down." Yang stated.
"I don't have the luxury to slow down." Blake angered.
"It's not a luxury; it's a necessity." Yang pointed out.
"The "necessity" is stopping Torchwick." Blake countered with her own state of opinion.
"And we're going to. But first you have to sit down and listen to what I have to say." Yang patted the desk for Blake to sit on.
"Looks like Yang is gonna have a one-on-one talk with Blake." Sun figured out what Yang is doing with Blake.
"What are they talking about? I can't hear anything from here." Mika leaned in closer with her big boobs pressing on Sun's head and half his face.
This causes the blonde monkey boy to blush hard of surprise that he is feeling Mika's breasts onto him right now, but he quickly calms himself down and gentle push Mika back.
"Let's go in and listen." Sun whispered.
Sun and Mika sneaks into the lecture hall carefully not to be seen as they seen Blake have surrender as she sits on the desk with Yang as she started the story about her life.
"Ruby and I grew up in Patch, an island off the coast of Vale. Our parents were Huntsmen. Our moms, Raven and Summer are Huntresses as they each take turns to take on missions while the other stays home to care for the house, but there was one more guy who cared for all of us, Taiyang Xiao Long. Dad was always the guy we can count on and he really tries his best to help whether it's on a mission or being at home doing fun stuff with us, he would always bring up the positive mood, that is until… He died on a mission." Yang mentioned, Blake became sad as she remembers how she said her father is dead, made her think of her own father.
Mika is shocked to hear that her father is dad and feel for her fellow muscle friend, Sun is also sad for Yang that she has to bring out the past that most people wouldn't want to bring it up.
"He was on a mission with mom-Raven, they were helping to take care of some hordes of Grimm that have been gathering in one spot and they volunteered to help some other Hunters to deal with them. They came back three days late then they promised and… only my mom came back, she told us dad sacrificed his life to fight one last monster, dad was honored as a hero since then." Yang explained looking at the shy.
"I was only seven back then and Ruby was five when she was really torn up, but... I think she was still too young to really get what was going on, y'know? Summer was down too, but she managed to get herself back on her feet, but Raven took even longer to pull herself together as all came together to help cheer her up." Yang paused for a moment, remembering how Raven was broken back then.
"(I would know how Raven feels if I lost someone, I love like Menat or my mom.)" Sun thought and thinking about those two.
"You remember how we told you that my mom, Raven, was raised by bandits?" Yang asked.
"Yeah, it was during our break time." Blake remembered that time.
"Well, the lost of my dad was actually the second big lost she suffered through, the first time was the Tribe she was born in, and I also found out that her tribe was destroyed by one single man. The same man who killed my dad." Yang revealed shocking Blake and the hiding duo.
"But I thought you said your dad fought died fighting a Grimm." Blake confused.
"My dad did fight a monster, but it wasn't a monster… It was the same man; I overheard my mom talked in her sleep about the guy though I never got the name, but I do know is that he is still alive out there." Yang explained.
"I wanted nothing but revenge in the guy, I had this stupid idea that if this guy took my dad away then maybe beating him would bring my dad back." Yang walked to the chalkboard and picked up a chalk stick.
(Flashback)
The scene shows a younger Yang peek through a barely open-door seeing Raven still in her depression state while another woman wearing a white cloak, Summer Rose-Xiao Long, comforting her wife. Seeing her mother like has made Yang made and clutches her little fist and ran from the door before she could be notice.
"I was angry that I wanted to find the guy right now and get payback, which was stupid because I had no idea where to find him or where to go. I left when Summer left home and mom was asleep as usual." Yang mentioned.
Younger Yang is walking through the forest while pulling a wagon with younger and litter Ruby sleeping inside, she kept walking through the trees trying to find the guy who killed her daddy despite how exhausting her body was feeling but she didn't care.
"It didn't help that I had no idea what the guy looked like, but I didn't care as I kept walking until I found a house within the woods." Yang said.
Younger Yang walked towards the house wondering if she'll find any clues about the man who killed her daddy, but she stops upon seeing glowing red eyes.
"There we were: A toddler sleeping in the back of a wagon and a stupid girl too exhausted to even cry for help. We might as well have been served on a silver platter." Yang said feeling scared of the memory.
A few Beowolves came out of the house and crawl at the girls ready to pounce on them.
"But, as luck would have it, our uncle showed up just in time." Yang mentioned.
The Beowolves jumps to kill the girls, but they were cut in halves or pieces by a man with a large scythe.
(Flashback End)
"My stubbornness should've gotten us killed that night." Yang finished her story and the drawing on the chalkboard.
"Yang... I'm sorry that happened to you, and I understand what you're trying to tell me, but this is different. I'm not a child, and this isn't just a search for answers!" Blake argued.
"(Are you kidding me?!)" Sun thought facepalmed.
"I told you: I'm not telling you to stop! I haven't! To this day, I still want to know what happened to my mother and why she left me, but I will never let that search control me. We're going to find the answers we're looking for, Blake. But if we destroy ourselves in the process, what good are we?" Yang lectured with a good point.
"You don't understand! I'm the only one who can do this!" Blake proclaimed.
"No, you don't understand!" Yang turned around showing her eyes changed to red again of her anger.
"If Roman Torchwick walked through that door, what would you do?" Yang asked.
"I'd fight him!" Blake answered.
"You'd lose!" Yang pushed Blake away.
"I can stop him!" Blake tried to push Yang back, but she couldn't because of how tired her body is.
"You can't even stop me!" Yang pushed her partner harder causing to her bump into the desk that Sun and Mika are behind.
Blake got angry as she got back up wanted to fight back, but she felt a hand touch her shoulder and turns around shock to see Sun in the room.
"Sun!" Blake gasped.
"Blake, Yang is right. You have to slow down otherwise you'll miss out on all the amazing things that is happening around you and you maybe never get the chance to do them again." Sun stated.
"Shut up! You guys may not care about this, but someone has to"
"You don't think I care!" Sun shouted in rage which surprises Blake, Mika, and Yang.
"You forgot that I know Adam too, he was my older brother-in-training under the same master, I've always looked up to him and thought we would always be together!" Sun clutched his fists as his body glows a little dark.
"You had no idea how hurt I was when he just left me like I was nothing, like the times we had together were a waste of time to him and… and… AAH!" Sum slammed his fist on the floor causing cracks to appear and scaring the girls.
Sun soon realizes what is happening to him and calm himself down from the intense rage, remembering the meditation training he had with Master Gouken and the dark aura soon vanish from his body.
"Blake, all we're asking is for you to take a little break and rest your soul or else you might as well end up becoming the very bad people you're trying to stop or a dead cat." Sun pointed out with a hand on her cheek.
"Not to mention that will also effect the people around you, cherish them while you still can move forward." Sun advised.
Blake looks at Sun in the eyes seeing truth and feeling the wisdom in his words knowing that he is right and realizing that her friends have been right the whole time, but she was too stubborn to listen and now she won't have to do that anymore.
"Okay, I'm good." Blake nodded making the three smiles.
"Yes, Blake has been cured of her depression!" Mika cheered.
"Great, and you owe me the first dance since you've been eavesdropping." Yang smirked.
"That's fair." Sun chuckled.
(Tomorrow Night, Beacon Dance)
"Fuck, mom! Do I really have to wear this?" Sun asked complaining.
"No curses before going to the dance, young man." Cammy scolded while making the last adjustment to his suit.
"There, now you look more handsome than ever!" Cammy complimented as she finishes getting Sun in the suit.
Sun is wearing a short-sleeved black shirt suit with a white tie, matching fancy pants, black shoes, and retain his red fighting gloves because he wouldn't wear the suit if he could wear his gloves.
Cammy is wearing a beautiful green dress with a short skirt to the middle of her thighs and red high-heel shoes.
"I guess I can survive one last wearing this." Sun said.
"I'm proud that you and Menat are going as a couple for the dance, though I'm also surprised to know that you have two other girls to dance with." Cammy teased grinning.
"Guess I'm a lucky guy." Sun shrugged.
Then they heard a knocking on the door.
"Oh, that must be Menat." Cammy quickly walked to the door and opens it.
Menat is now wearing a golden sleeves dress and covers most of her legs save for the feet showing the white high-heel shoes, a necklace with her emblem of her crystal ball with a purple cat head symbol on it, elbow length gloves, and beautiful violent lipsticks.
"Oh my, you look amazing!" Cammy complimented.
"Thank you, and you look like you want the attention of a man." Menat commented.
"I don't know about that, I'm just wearing what Chun-Li gave me." Cammy said.
"Well, I think Sun wouldn't mind hanging out with a sexy woman like you." Menat teased looking at Sun.
"What? No, no, I wouldn't care if my mom is a totally hottie and I want to f-Hey, we should get going!" Sun dashed out dragging Menat along.
"Uh, I could have sworn that he was about to say… No, no, that's silly. Sun wouldn't be interested in seeing his own mother this way, would he?" Cammy asked herself then she suddenly blushes out of nowhere.
(Outside the Ballroom)
Sun, Menat, and Cammy are on their way to the ballroom to start their night fun started and meet up with their friends to enjoy it more too.
"I knew you'd look better in a tie." Blake complimented.
Sun turns to see Blake and became amazes of what she is wearing right now.
Blake's dance dress is a short, purple, asymmetrical, halter neck dress that is split up the right side and has a black collar. Translucent black mesh covers her shoulders, decolletage and back, and decorative black swirls cover the left side of the dress and continue up the left strap. The outfit is completed with black pumps, and she wears a teal bow on her head as opposed to her usual black one.
"Wow!" Sun amazed.
"You look wonderful, Blake!" Menat complimented.
"Thanks, I see you all are good too." Blake smiled as she held Sun's other arm.
"So, ready for the night of your life?" Sun asked.
"Yep, and I'm looking forward to our dance." Blake nodded as they walk together to the dance.
"My son certainly has a night to look forward to." Cammy chuckled.
