Dancing the Night Away with Danger
Sun, Blake, Menat, and Cammy have arrived at the ballroom as they can hear the loud and exciting music coming from the inside meaning the party has started, they enter through the doors seeing Yang as she is welcoming everyone who is coming.
"Hey guys, welcome to the Beacon Dance!" Yang welcomed the four with a strong smile and gestured her arm to the dance itself.
Yang is now a short, white, halter neck dress with a pale gray hem and white pumps.
"Hello Yang, I hope we're not late." Menat said.
"Nope, the dance has just started, and the first dance is about to start which reminds of a certain monkey man who owes me the first." Yang grinned at Sun who chuckles.
"I did promise after eavesdropping on your conversation." Sun said.
"Don't worry, me and Blake are up for the second and third dance." Menat reminded him.
"Whoa momma, you seem to have gotten quite a line for the dance." Yang impressed, and a little jealous at the same time though despite her cool act.
"What can I say, it just happens." Sun shrugged.
"Okay, just let me get Weiss to take over my shift." Yang said pointing her thumb behind her.
"Blake, you're here!" Ruby cheered as she runs up to her but struggling to move around with the high heels.
Ruby is now wearing a short, red, sleeveless dress with a thick black sash around the waist and black trim along the bottom. The bodice of the dress is split vertically to the sash and laced with black lacing. The yoke of the dress is transparent mesh with an opaque collar and hem, as well as opaque lines connecting the collar to her shoulders. She also wears black stockings and pumps.
"Man, I'm so happy you came-AH!" Ruby nearly tripped as Blake helped her from falling.
"Yeah, glad to be here with everyone. I'm sorry I caused you guys so much trouble because of how I acted." Blake apologized.
"It's okay, you were just being cautious and all." Ruby said forgiving her teammate.
"But please remember that as your team that we are always here for you, no matter what." Weiss stated walking up to them.
Weiss now wears a short, white, sleeveless dress with cutouts on both sides of her waist. The yoke of the dress is translucent mesh, and she also wears white pumps.
"I promise." Blake nodded.
"Great, great, now let's get to dancing!" Yang excitedly drag Sun to the dancefloor.
"I'm going to see Chun-Li and the others; you kids have fun." Cammy waved goodbye to them as she walked away.
Sun and Yang dance together on the dancefloor as they can see other students and some adults having a good time, the female students wearing their dress as they male students are wearing the same black tuxedos with different line colors. Right now, Sun and Yang are more focus on each other with their eyes in contact like they're in a trance as Sun pulls her in for a double spin and lifts her up a little.
"You certainly got some moves." Yang complimented.
"You can thank my mom for putting those boring dance moves into my head." Sun mentioned.
"Well, I would like to see something a little exciting from you." Yang said.
"Then how about this?" Sun smirked and twirls Yang around before doing the dip as he grabs her foot, then pulls her back in.
"Okay, now that was a cool 'Sun drop' you did." Yang punned as the two laughs.
"Glad you approve, just want to get a 'Foot' in this." Sun punned back and they laugh again.
After a few more moments, the two have finish their dance and Yang switched with Menat comes in for her turn for the dance then Blake got her turn to dance with Sun which is more fun than she could've imagined.
"I told you she would come." Yang smirked seeing Blake laughing in joy.
"Indeed, you did. Now Blake's future has changed for the better." Menat said as she brought her crystal ball to look at it.
"Meaning mission accomplished." Weiss said proudly.
"Soooo, what do we do now?" Ruby asked.
"Just have fun!" Yang said as she and Weiss walks away.
"Does that mean I can change out of these stupid things and into my hood now?" Ruby asked, but nobody listen, and she complains about the high heels.
"Come now, Ruby, you should enjoy this moment while it last." Menat pointed out.
"She is right." Ozpin said walking up to them.
"I know I should, but I'm just not much of a fancy pantsy... dancey girl." Ruby stated.
"Well, you can't spend your whole life on the battlefield, even if you may want to." Ozpin pointed out.
"Yeah, that lesson's been floating around a lot lately." Ruby crossed her arms and annoyed.
"Ruby, allow me to tell you what my Master would tell me. Time has a way of testing the bond between people when they live apart or when they come together for a special event like the Vytal festival that helps the bond become stronger for everyone to be united despite our difference." Menat mentioned the words from her Master.
"That's right, and it's up to us as Hunters to help those bonds stay strong safe while strengthen their own bonds as well." Ozpin nodded.
Ruby smiles understanding most of what Menat and Ozpin are saying and will try to enjoy the dance.
Yang is seen back at the podium to welcome some more guests and she smiles at the two new arrivals, Mercury and Emerald.
"You guys are just in time!" Yang said.
Emerald's prom dress is a n olive-colored, halterneck, backless dress with a black sash around her waist, and matching heeled pumps.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Mercury smirked.
With Sun and Blake, they are hanging out with Ren and Nora taking a break from the dancing and it looks like Nora is looking around like she is trying to find someone.
"Where is she?" Nora asked getting a little impatient.
Nora wears a pink strapless dress with a white skirt. Notably, the seam joining the two sections tapers to a point, which gives the top part of her dress a resemblance to a pink heart-shape.
"Easy Nora, she'll come." Ren calmed his friend down.
"You guys waiting for someone?" Blake asked.
"A super-duper person who was a big help with us when we had nowhere to go which was most of our lives!" Nora bragged.
"She was kind of enough to let us stay at her home until we got ready for Beacon." Ren said.
"Not to mention Ren totally has the hots for her." Nora smirked.
"Nora, please stop that! We're just friends with a strong spirit in heart." Ren stated.
"Why, thank you. You have such ways with words." A girl said walking up to them.
"Karin!" Nora cheered and jumped onto the girl for a big hug.
"Hello Nora, it's good to see you as well." The girl giggled.
"Everyone, meet Karin Kanzuki, a third-year in Haven Academy." Ren introduced.
Karin is a young woman with blonde hair styled into long, oversized Victorian Europe-style ringlets, with two small forelocks and braids encircling her head, and a pink bow on the back. She wears a black turtleneck dress and matching black flats. She also wears a matching black watch on her right wrist and a silver necklace on her neck with the emblem of her family. Breasts sizes: E-cup.
"Greetings everyone, I am honor to meet the new friends and companions of Nora and Ren." Karin greeted.
"Nice to meet you." Blake waved hello.
"Huh, it looks like Weiss Schnee isn't doing the dancing." Karin pointed at Weiss checking on a flower.
"Hey, wasn't she going to ask Neptune to the dance?" Nora confused.
"Yeah, the thing is Neptune can't dance and bad at it too." Sun revealed.
"I know it sounds like Neptune is being selfish to save his own face, but I know he really cares about her and maybe wants to date her for real." Sun stated.
"Yeah, same can be said about Jaune and Pyrrha, but they're too nervous to ask each other out." Nora exclaimed looking at Jaune hanging out with Ruby and Menat at the punchbowl.
It looks like Menat is giving Jaune a little talk which made him do some thinking and now looking confident before walking away and handed his punch drink to Ruby, going after Pyrrha up to the balcony.
"Looks like he's gonna be okay." Sun grinned.
"Hey Sun, having a good time?" Chun-Li asked as she, Cammy, and Glynda walk together to them.
Chun-Li is wearing an elegant dress with some gold design including on her hair with a white fluffy scarf on her right shoulder, and blue lipsticks.
Glynda is wearing a sparkly purple dress with a V-shape view of her cleavage and her right thights expose, her hair is down being smooth, and white high heels.
"Wow, you look hot, Goodwitch!" Sun smirked causing Glynda to blush hard.
"See, I told you, you'd get a reaction like that!" Chun-Li giggled and tap her elbow on her.
"I didn't want to wear this, you just forced me into it." Glynda glared still blushing.
"And now you're going to dance with him." Cammy pushed Glynda towards Sun.
"If you would like to dance." Sun offered.
"Well, I believe you would be more comfortable than being around Ironwood." Glynda decided to have another dance with Sun this time.
The two make their way to the dancefloor having a slow dance as Glynda is surprised how well he is doing, and finding herself to be amaze of the monkey boy as she can feel how strong he is with just his touch. Sun is also having a good time too with the professor finding her hot and wonder if she could be one of the future lovers, then his attention went to Emerald and Mercury dancing together.
"Hey, is Cinder here?" Sun asked.
"Sorry, Cinder is coming late because her dress is taking longer to make then she thought." Emerald informed which is a lie.
Soon, Sun and Glynda finish their dance together and went to their own separate groups as everyone is having a great time and wonders what is going to happen next.
"Man, this a blast." Sun commented.
"You got that right!" Mika said as she is wearing a light blue dress in the same design as Yang's.
"I just wish we can enjoy it a bit more." Ibuki sighed.
"I'm sure this is a night we're never going to forget." Sun said as he saws Neptune walking up to Weiss.
"Yes, though it looks like we're gonna be sharing some laughing too." Menat said.
"Why's that?" Blake asked.
Then they heard some laughing from everyone as they turn their attention to where they see Jaune walking onto the dancefloor, wearing a girly dress though doesn't feel any shame to it as he walks up to Pyrrha.
"Jaune?" Pyrrha surprised.
Pyrrha's prom dress is a turtleneck sleeveless red dress with her back exposed.
"A promise is a promise." Jaune shrugged which made Pyrrha laugh smiling.
"Jaune! You didn't have to!" Pyrrha said.
"Hey, an Arc never goes back on his word. Now do you wanna stand there and laugh at me, or do you wanna dance?" Jaune asked as his extended his hand to her.
"I would love to dance." Pyrrha accepted his hand and is pulled close to him.
"Ren, this is happening!" Nora cheered.
"Wait, what is happening?" Ren confused.
"I believe she means your team is gonna do a dance together!" Karin shoved Ren to the dancefloor and Nora excitingly follows.
"Come on, I'm feeling like moving my booty!" Mika excited.
"Then let's go!" Sun laughed smiling and took Mika's hand as they go to the dancefloor.
Team JNPR perform a short but awesome choreographed dance as everyone was amaze of this as some others have join in for the fun of the dance some more, Sun and Mika are doing their own dancing style as Sun lifts her up and she strike a pose like she just won a wrestling match.
"I had no idea you were a dancer." Pyrrha amazed.
"Yeah, well, these things tend to happen when you grow up with seven sisters." Jaune smirked before dipping Pyrrha and spins her away.
"Hey Jaune, did you help Neptune talk with Weiss?" Sun asked as he dance close to him.
"Sure did, and it looks like he learned his lesson about what being cool really means." Jaune nodded.
"Well, you're the cool guy now!" Sun believed.
"Ren, may I have this dance?" Karin asked offering her hand to him.
"Y-Yes, of course." Ren accepted blushing and the two went on dancing while Nora smiles believes those two are gonna hit it off big time.
Meanwhile, Emerald and Mercury are watching the dance going on.
"It appears all the dancers have partners." Emerald reported to Cinder through an earpiece-com.
"How long do I have?" Cinder asked.
"You should probably be home by midnight, to be safe." Mercury suggested.
(With Cinder)
"I'll keep my eye on the clock." Cinder said.
Cinder is now wearing a sleeveless jacket, long gloves, stiletto heel boots, a black glass mask and several straps with containers of powdered Dust lined across her pants.
She stealthily makes her way towards the Cross Continental Transmit System Tower (CCT) sneaked her way behind an armed guard and knife-hand on the neck knocking the guard out, she drags him behind a brush. Cinder makes her way into the tower and taking out some guards with her superior combat skills and walk towards the elevator where two guards are inside, she easily took them out inside the small space then reaches the floor.
"Oh! That's handy." Cinder said at the Scroll she took from one of the guards and walked out of the elevator.
(With Ruby, Moments Ago)
Ruby walked her way out of the ballroom for some fresh air, then she spotted a figure running on the rooftop of the building getting a bad feeling about this. She pulled out her Scroll to summon her locker which has her Crescent Rose inside.
"Ruby, what are you doing?" Cammy asked running up to her.
"I think I just saw someone on the rooftops heading towards the tower." Ruby informed pointing where the figure she saw headed.
Cammy looks at Ruby in the eyes for a few seconds seeing that she is telling the truth.
"Okay, I'm coming too, and you are to stay close to me at all times." Cammy said as Ruby nods.
(Back with Cinder)
Cinder is sitting in front of the hologram computer installing something from her Scroll for the "plan" to move forward.
"A party guest is leaving." Emerald alerted.
"Which one?" Cinder asked sigh.
"Ironwood." Emerald answered.
"I guess the general had enough fun for one night." Mercury commented.
Cinder looks at the computer screen seeing all the random codes appearing until a black queen chess piece appeared.
"Should we intervene?" Mercury asked.
"No... we're done here." Cinder said.
Cinder heard the deep sound and turns around noticing the elevator door is opening up, she quickly hides before Ruby and Cammy came out.
"Hello?" Ruby called out.
"Look, that computer is still on." Cammy pointed at.
"Come out, we know you're still here." Cammy called out.
Cinder decided to amuse them a little and step out of her hiding place as they won't recognize her face because of the mask.
"Excuse me? You know, it's not a masquerade party." Ruby pointed out.
"Yes, why be shy when you show us your face." Cammy taunted.
Cinder attack with glass daggers she created and fires at the two as Ruby quickly blocks them with her scythe and Cammy jumps high.
"Spiral Arrow!" Cammy spin kick launched herself forward as Cinder dodges.
Ruby fire some shots though Cinder blocks them with one hand and jumps back while firing three arrows which explodes on impact, Cammy jumps in throwing a few kicking combos, but Cinder was able to block them with her swords and push her back to Ruby.
Then the elevator opens getting everyone's attention showing Ironwood entering the scene, which left Cinder the opportunity to disappear on them.
(With Sun)
"Weird, where did mom go?" Sun wondered, then felt a tap on his shoulder.
He turns around to see Cinder is here and wearing a formal black evening gown that has black glass designs on it.
"Cinder, you're here!" Sun surprised.
"Yes, and I'm hope I would have a dance with you." Cinder smiled.
"Sure." Sun nodded and took her to the dancefloor, unknowingly of what Cinder was doing before coming here.
The mission was a success, and nothing suspected a thing, now all Cinder can do is enjoy the beautiful night with Sun like nothing else matters.

Well, the Beacon Dance was a blast for everyone even though Cinder had to sneak her way for the evil plan though I think she was really looking forward to dancing with Sun, but the fun time will soon turn into working time for the Hunters-in-training.
