Big First Hunters' Step on First Mission
The scene shows Ozpin's office where he and some of his Brotherhood members for an important and private meeting to talk about what happened last night during the Beacon Dance when Cammy made her report.
"They were here... Ozpin, they were here!" Ironwood angered slamming his fist on Ozpin's desk.
"We're very much aware of that! Thank you, James." Glynda annoyed.
"Easy Glynda, you two James, we're all wary that the enemy managed to get past and into the CCT while our guard was down." Chun-Li tried to calm everyone down.
"Then are we going to do something about it, or should we just stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us?!" James demanded.
"And you need to calm yourself down, General. You will talk abut our next move after the talk with Ruby." Cammy said then they heard the sound of the elevator.
"Come in!" Ozpin said.
Ruby exit the elevator with a nervous look on her face.
"Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here… It wasn't me." Ruby tried to play it cool, but it was obvious that Ruby did press all the buttons on the elevator.
"Glad you could come, Ruby. How are you feeling from last night?" Cammy asked.
"Okay, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad-guy-catching record wasn't O-for-three." Ruby joked a little.
"Don't worry, not everyone can get the bad guys right away." Chun-Lu said knowing what that's like.
"Ruby, I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you did last night is exactly what being a Huntress is all about. You recognized a threat. You took action. And you did the very best you could as you also followed Cammy's lead." James complimented on Ruby's bravery.
"Thank you, sir." Ruby nodded.
"Now, the general here has already informed us of the events that... transpired last night, but now that you've rested, we were wondering if you had anything to add." Ozpin explained.
"Right, as you know, we entered the tower after Ruby spotted a figure jumping from a rooftop and went inside." Cammy started the story.
"Didn't you say one of the computers was still on?" Ruby recalled Cammy saying that.
"Yes, the culprit was doing something though I couldn't see what it was. Must have been trying to grab some information about the school or something more." Cammy theorized.
"Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?" Glynda asked.
"I... I don't know. She was wearing a mask, and she never said anything to me. But I know she fought with glass. I don't think that was her Semblance, though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked." Ruby mentioned.
"What about the way she blocked the bullets you shot with one hand, did that seem familiar to you?" Chun-Li asked.
"Now that you mention it, I remember Professor Goodwitch coming to my aid and fought a woman who also blocked my shots with one hand and the glow was kind of like orange too." Ruby remembered that time.
"Yes, it definitely sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby." Glynda said.
"Embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone, though from Chun-Li's information gathering this might be a member from Shadaloo." James said.
"Which would also connect her to the White Fang and Roman Torchwick, they're planning something big with a lot of those Dusts probably for war." Chun-Li theorized.
"I'm not sure, my gut is telling me that there's something more to this than meets the eye." Cammy said.
"Actually, Cammy, didn't mentioned something about the bad guy's having a hideout in the southeast." Ruby asked.
Cammy raised an eyebrow at first then getting the idea of what Ruby is talking about and decided to play around.
"Yes, I believe I did mention that." Cammy nodded.
"Thank you for your cooperation, Ruby. Why don't you go and spend some time with your team? You have a big day ahead of you." Ozpin excused Ruby to go.
"Anytime." Ruby smiled and walked to the elevator.
(Team RWBY's Room)
Ruby enters the room where her team, team SSSN, MIME, and JNPR are all waiting as they see her and WBY dashed right in front of her.
"What happened?" Yang asked.
Ruby chuckles and laugh nervously.
(Ozpin's Office)
"Well, there we have it. We send as many troops as we can to the southeast, find out exactly what's going on, and eradicate any forces that stand in our way." James suggested.
"I believe that's too extreme." Cammy commented.
"Yes, that is always the problem that you treat every situation like it's a contest of measuring di"
"Glynda." Ozpin said, cutting off Glynda's complaint.
"Well, he does!" Glynda complained.
"Easy, I know you want to things want things all at once as the rest of us do, but you have to remember that this is way more than any strand Hunter stuff." Chun-Li issued this to Ironwood.
"Exactly, and if this truly is part of some master plan for which we know not the final move, we mustn't be so bold. Nor can we risk the spread of panic." Ozpin pointed out.
"I have served you faithfully for years... but if you mean to tell me that your plan is to really hold the defenses, and wait"
"It is not!" Ozpin snapped, standing up from his desk and pointed his finger at the general.
"You're a general, James. So, tell me, when you prepare to go to war, which do you send in first? The flag bearers, or the scouts?" Ozpin asked stating the obvious.
(Team RWBY's Room)
"And that's about it." Ruby finished telling the others what went on.
"That was a risky move." Weiss commented.
"No, I think you handled it well." Blake believed.
"Not to mention my mom was there, at least the talk was easy." Sun stated.
"But don't you think there's something more going on?" Jaune wondered.
"I'm sure the headmaster and the other Hunters will do something about it, while we also do something on our own as well." Pyrrha stated.
"I hope so." Ruby said.
"I'm sure everything will be alright, Ruby. Oh, I know what will cheer you up!" Yang held up a cylindrical package.
"What's that?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know yet. Mom-Raven sent it to us. I thought we could open it together!" Yang answered.
"Ooooh! Something from home!" Ruby excited and dashed onto her older sister wanting to open the package.
The package open and something… furry came out dropping on the floor, then the weirdly furred shape object suddenly popped into the form of a corgi dog, and everyone became shocked of seeing this. Ruby and Yang smiles excitingly, Weiss and Blake are surprised of seeing the familiar dog, Jaune's eyes widen along with Pyrrha, Nora giggles, Ren raised an eyebrow, Menat is surprised by this, Ibuki find the dog cute and Elena too, Mika is interested in the dog. Scarlet, Neptune, and Sage were curious about this dog.
"Zwei!" Ruby cheered.
"Raven sent a dog?!" Blake gasped.
"In the mail?!" Weiss shocked too.
Ruby is holding Zwei in her arms as Ibuki, Nora, and Elena are giggling as they cuddle with the dog.
"Oh, she does stuff like this all the time!" Yang said.
"Your mother or the dog?" Blake asked as she is shown hiding on Ruby's bunk.
"Well, I'm just glad that we can see this beautiful and cutie little dog again! Isn't he cute, Neptune?" Weiss asked her newly boyfriend.
"Well, I'll admit, he is only cool-looking dog." Neptune said petting Zwei's head, and he smiles back.
"Please keep it away from my belongings." Blake said.
"Would all first-year students please report to the amphitheater?" Glynda announced.
"Well, we better get going to have our first mission." Sun said.
"But what about Zwei, are we really going to leave him here?" Ibuki asked concern for the dog.
"She's right, we'll be gone for a week." Ren added.
Ruby sat Zwei down and he walks over trying to reach for Blake as she leans her back against the wall.
"Blake, come on, he just wants to say hi and be your friend." Sun chuckled.
"No thanks, the last up-close I had with that dog, I had washed my face covered in dog slipper four times." Blake refused.
"Look, there's a letter!" Yang said bring out a letter.
"Dear girls, I've got to leave the island for a few days, so I'm sending Zwei to you to take care of. Enclosed is all the food you should need. Love you both, Raven." Yang read the letter and held the package upside-down letting dozens of dogfoods falling out.
"How in the world did she fit all that in there?" Scarlet asked shock.
"And how is he supposed to eat when their close?" Jaune asked, then a can-opener fell on Zwei's head.
"Well, that settles it! Come on girls, Zwei will be here when we get back!" Yang said walking out.
"Hold on, you're not serious that this dog can open these cans by itself?" Neptune asked.
"Trust me, I've seen stranger things." Sun shrugged.
Everyone make out of the room, except for Ruby as she looks at Zwei not wanting to let him be in the room all alone for the week and got an idea.
(Amphitheater)
Ruby is seen wearing her backpack as everyone is gathered at the Amphitheater, she put her backpack down next to some other luggage of the other students and rejoin her team/
"Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin." Glynda said and step back for Ozpin to speak into the microphone.
"Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best." Ozpin said in strong belief of the next generation of Hunters.
Soon, everyone went to the hologram board to see what kind of mission they can go on and we see team SSSN looking at one trying to find the job they all agree to go on.
"Come on, come on, where is it?" Neptune asked.
"Cool you jets, dude. I'm sure it's here… Found it." Sun said.
"Yes, the detective investigation mission is still open." Scarlet excited as Sage nods.
"Nice, and it looks like Huntress we'll be tailing is Chun-Li." Sun noticed in the name, selecting the mission and type in their team's name and they were accepted.
"Great, now let's go see if Blake's team got anything." Sun suggested and they walked around until they spotted team RWBY, and strangely Ozpin just left the scene.
"Hey, did you girls get your mission?" Sun asked.
"Well, it was a mission that first-years shouldn't go because it was too dangerous, but Ozpin helped us out with that and glad too otherwise we would've mailed ourselves there." Blake answered.
"He also gave us a warning about the Huntsman we'll be tailing will send us home if we perform poorly." Yang added.
"Well, I'm sure you girls will do great together and show that Huntsman your awesomeness!" Sun complimented making Blake and Yang blush.
"Come on, let's go outside for some fresh air." Sun suggested.
The two teams went outside as they met up with Menat's team walking together with them, team MIME picked a mission about killing some Grimm somewhere close to the kingdom right outside the border.
"Hey! Team CFVY is back!" A student shouted.
Everyone turns to see team CFVY walking together as they exit the bullhead that just docked down.
The Leader, Coco Adel is a teenage girl with fair skin, short dark-brown hair, and dark-brown eyes. She has wavy locks on one side of her face, dyed with a gradient that starts as dark brown and transitions to caramel. She wears a long, cocoa-colored shirt with an upturned layered frill collar with a black single strapped waist cincher. She wears tight black leather trousers that have golden lining around the pocket and ribbons attached to the back of a golden zipper seam around her knees. A black golden studded belt is normally hidden by a large cocoa-colored belt with gun cartridges on the left side and a large golden crosshair buckle. A large piece of black fabric is attached to her belt hanging down on her right side. She wears a pair of dark black, high-heeled leather calf-high boots with golden buckles. Coco also dons a number of accessories, such as a bracelet with black roses as decoration; these are accompanied by black gloves and three beaded necklaces alongside a black scarf tied around her collar. She wears a black beret with a cocoa brown trim and a pair of black, wire-rimmed aviator sunglasses. She is seen holding a black shoulder bag with gold studs, which is held by a bandolier strap, the bag. Breasts sizes: F-cup.
Fox Alistair is a teenage boy with dark skin and dark, messy copper hair that has a long fringe and a cowlick. He wears a sleeveless, muted orange zipper vest with black lining and a high collar, a pair of black jeans, and brown, laced shoes. His eyes are pure white, showing that he is physically blind. His arms are covered in scars, and he has a vertical scar on his lips. He also wears a pair of long black gloves and has several pouches attached to his belt.
The bunny of the group, Velvet Scarlatina has long, brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a pair of brown rabbit ears, identifying her as a Faunus. Her combat gear is made up of a cropped brown jacket over a thin black top and brown pants almost entirely covered up by thigh high black boots. Accenting her brown and black color scheme are gold pauldrons, cuffs, a belt, and the trim of her boots. The box containing her weapon attaches to the belt. Breasts sizes: F-cup.
Yatsuhashi Daichi, the very tall fella, is a tall and athletic-looking young man with shaved-short black hair and tanned skin, who wears mostly pale-green and brown attire. He has a long, short-sleeved robe, which he wears on one shoulder over a black muscle shirt. The robe is fastened at the waist by a leather armored belt with two pouches on it. He also wears brown pants and black-and-green boots. His left arm bears a 5-layer sode which extends up past his shoulder. His weapon is affixed to his back with a padded brown strap slung over his shoulder. He also wears a pair of bracers as well as a pair of black gloves with green plates on the backs.
"Wow, so that's them." Sun impressed of the group.
"Yep, that's them." Yang nodded as Blake and Weiss walked up to them.
"Velvet? Are you okay?" Blake asked.
"I'm fine. I had Yatsuhashi to look out for me." Velvet gestured to her teammate.
"Yup, the name's Sun Wukong and I look forward seeing your awesomeness in the tournament." Sun winked making Velvet blush.
"Oh, looks like we got ourselves a monkey with business." Coco smirked with her sunglasses down.
"If you're interested, Sun and I are in an open relationship, and we already got Blake and Yang." Menat mentioned making Blake blush of embarrassment and Yang smiles proudly.
"Whoa, an actually harem! That's something you don't see every day." Coco surprised.
"Well, I think we should focus on our first mission first before we decided to add one or two more." Sun stated.
"He's right, and you first-years are just shadowing Huntsmen, so you should be fine." Velvet nodded.
"Yeah, this is the most exciting part of the mission!" Ruby cheered.
"Maybe he could be the adventuring muscle guy." Sun guessed.
(The Next Day)
"Why, hello girls! Who's ready to fight for their lives?" Oobleck asked exciting.
Team RWBY gasped upon seeing the Huntsman they'll be shadowing is none other than their history teacher.

Now, everyone has selected their mission to go on and ready for their first Hunter mission to perform which Sun's team will be tailing Chun-Li for an investigation while RWBY will be going with unexpectedly Doctor Oobleck, but don't worry there will be one more person going with them.
