Aftermath of the Bad Party Crashers
Cinder smirks as she walks up to Amber while putting on a white glove, she holds up the hand and then a small Grimm back came out of the glove.
"Please, don't…" Amber begged.
But it was deaf in her ears as the little Grimm shot a black web on Amber's face and it glows making Amber scream in pain while Cinder started to feel the power of the Fall Maiden coursing through her very being and this is only the first half right now as she is looking forward to getting more.
However, that would not come true as Qrow suddenly jumps into the scene to save Amber as he slices down the black web to disconnect Amber from the attacker.
"Rust Spin Slicer!" Qrow spins fast with his scythe held outward, the attack almost hit the three with only one small cut on each of their clothes.
Cinder can feel that she only got half of the Fall Maiden's power, but grins thinking this is still useful to her as she conjures a large circle under Qrow, he quickly carries Amber and moves out of the way before it explodes and sees that the attackers are gone.
"Qrow!" Chun-Li called out as she ran up to him.
"What happened? You just ran off from the bar." Chun-Li asked, but she gasp upon seeing the badly injured Amber.
"We need inform Ozpin about this. Now!" Qrow said.
(Somewhere Else)
"The Huntsman severed the connection before it was complete." Cinder said, speaking to someone with the scene only show darkness.
"Yes. It's... emptiness. It burns. Like hunger. I like it." Cinder expressed how the power feels even if it's only half the power of the Fall Maiden.
"Yes. I will claim what is ours." Cinder promised.
"Thank you, and I'm sure our business partners will be pleased to hear about this as well." Cinder smirked evilly.
(Vale White Fang Camp)
Adam is seen within his tent that he is feeling very angry, feeling more anger than he felt in a long time since his parents' death, and the scar he was forced to receive years ago which is the very source of his hatred toward humans.
The reason he is angry is because Blake Belladonna, the girl who he trained with and come to love her more than a simple partner, quit the White Fang and the very cause she supported but it would seem that she was a coward at the end when she ran away.
After everything they have done together in order to bring freedom to the Faunus, his anger cause his dark aura to flare up.
"We'll find her, sir. I swear on my life." The White Fang Lieutenant promised with a hand on his chest.
"Forget it. It's time I returned to Mistral and..." Adam's words were cut off when he suddenly hears gunfire shooting and some explosion coming from outside of his tent.
"Who dares cause a commotion in my camp?" Adam demanded in anger again.
Both Adam and the White Fang Lieutenant rush out of the tent with their representative weapons for any fight that is happening.
"What is this?" Adam demanded.
Cinder smiles as she stands with some of the White Fang soldiers laying on the ground unconscious and holding two swords in her hands, she looks over to Adam seeing that she now has his full attention. Emerald and Mercury are also present, each with a case in front of them.
"We could've gone to anyone for help. But we chose you, Adam Taurus." Cinder said while she discarded her swords, and a wall of fire rises with her hands raising up.
"Our plan will be beneficial for both of us. Or one of us." Cinder said.
Emerald opens her case revealing Dust crystals and collector canisters inside, Mercury opens his case to show stacks of Liens inside which is a lot of money.
Adam can clearly see this woman is more than what she is barging for, and she appears to be more powerful than the most skilled and strongest Hunters in the world meaning whatever she has to offer, she has the power to back them up.
Adam slowly stands up straight, a gesture showing that he is ready to lesson to what she has to say much to her please.
But there is one thing he needed to see for himself.
"Before I agree to form this alliance of yours, I will need to see if your power can withstand mine." Adam said.
"Show if you can clash against my attack!" Adam got into a stance and started charging up his attack.
"I see, a test of power." Cinder chuckled, then floats about three feet in the air.
"Find then, I'll do your test and show you the kind of power I have!" Cinder smirked as she conjures a fireball between her two hands and conducted the power to keep it from getting bigger.
Adam and Cinder stare at each other for a moment until they felt the moment to attack from their instincts.
"Gohadoken!" Adam fired his energy attack.
At the same time, Cinder fires her big fireball.
The two attacks clash at each other with them being even for the most part into a power struggle until they explode causing a big shockwave that almost blew everyone away, all except for Cinder and Adam as they are unfazed by the powerful shockwave.
"I'm impress, you are powerful, more than just all talk." Adam admitted.
"So, does that mean we're on the same page?" Cinder asked as she held out her hand to him.
"Yes, we are." Adam said as he took her hand.
"But know that if you ever cross me then I will kill you right then and there." Adam warned with his dark aura emitting for the extra affect.
"Understood." Cinder nodded.
(Present)
"So, what I believe strength you take it with your own two hands and make that strength into your own to never feel weak again, to never let others make you feel weak and force control onto you ever again!" Cinder clutched her fists.
"Hmm, I see, you have been through a lot, and you still are." Gouken nodded while stroking his bread.
"Maybe so, but I'm getting by. I made my way into Haven Academy and found my team; they are some odd ones unlike most people but they also feel similar like me when wanting to be strong." Cinder said, still acting like the innocent "student" of Haven.
"Yes, I can tell." Gouken said, then two Atlas soldiers came up to them.
"Sir, we need to take this girl to her room with her team for security protection from Shadaloo." The Atlas soldier on the right said.
"Then it looks like our time is done, I hope to see you again. I enjoy our chat." Gouken smiled at Cinder.
"Right back at you, but I hope they will allow my team to leave Vale with everything that happened." Cinder hoped these Atlas soldiers don't become too much of a problem.
"I'm not sure if you will be able to go back home with those two from Shadaloo going after one of you, but I will have a talk with Ironwood into lending some of his men to escort your team back home once this crisis is over." Gouken said.
"(So, this man knows Ironwood. Better be careful around him.)" Cinder thought made a note to herself.
Meanwhile, Balrog and Vega are finding themselves in a tough spot when they are up against five strong Hunters as they are going to take them down fast and hard.
Balrog just tries punching those bitches away, but he kept punching air as Cammy and Chun-Li kept dodging him while landing some powerful kicks of their own.
"Cammy, let's finish this!" Chun-Li suggested.
"Right with you!" Cammy nodded.
Both ladies started moving around Balrog faster than he could track and them moving around him in circles really fast has also made him feel dizzy, that gave the two women the opening they were hoping striking him fast from all directions and not even giving Balrog any time to fight back nor recover.
"Lightning Cannon Kick Down!" Chun-Li and Cammy jumped together and struck down at Barlog so hard that he went got slammed into the stage and unconscious.
"Well, isn't that a petty." Vega chuckled at the fall of Balrog.
"And you're next!" Summer zoomed in slashing at Vega who does his best to block each strike with his claws.
"Your family name has such a sweet sound when spoken of, perhaps your blood would also be red as a rose." Vega smirked under his mask.
"Like you would want to see!" Qrow jumped behind Vega to slash his back.
But Vega was able to sense this through his instincts as he moves to the side letting the craved blade stab the ground of the fighting stage, only to suddenly get kicked in the back by Qrow who figured this guy was gonna dodge.
And that kick pushes him forward at Summer with a very angry face as she pushes him right in the face.
"That was for interrupting the festival!" Summer yelled.
Summer goes in slashing her battle axe weapon three times at Vega with the last one cutting his mask in half.
"That was for ruining a big moment for Yang after she won!" Summer yelled again.
"And this…" Summer was about to attack again, but she pauses herself much to Vega's confusion.
"Is for her." Summer smirked as she pointed up.
By the time Vega decided to look up, it was too late for him as Raven came down from a portal and stabs her sword right into the side of Vega's body and pinning him down to the ground so hard that cracks form under and around him.
"That was for hurting Yang!" Raven glared down and twist her sword a bit making this extra hurt on Vega.
"Don't worry, I avoided your organs on purpose because death would be too good for you." Raven informed.
"Hey man… You don't really sale fake breads, do you?" Balrog said randomly before going back to unconscious.
"Better get these guys out of here before anything else happen." Chun-Li said.
"Pretty sure the negative emotions that everyone has been feeling is getting intense, hope we'll be able to calm everyone down." Qrow looked around, seeing how most people are still scared.
"You and me both." Summer sighed, feeling like their situation has gotten worse.
"Hey, what do you think about Gouken's thoughts on those three being the ones who attacked Amber?" Qrow asked.
"Cinder Fall, Emerald Sustrai, and Mercury Black, those three are the likely subjects though we're gonna need more proof." Cammy crossed her arms under her breasts.
"But there is something about those guys that got me feeling like they're not who they claim to be." Raven stated.
"Even so, they were still attacked by Shadaloo, so we can rule working for them out of possibilities about them." Summer pointed out.
"Right." Qrow nodded.
(Later)
"I was so worried about you!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Easy Ruby, I only gotten a few scratches. Nothing too serious." Yang chuckled. She has bandages wrapped on her body.
Team RWBY are in the room after Yang got examined by the medical group finding that she is going to make a full recovery soon, though they are not sure about her continuing to fight in the tournament, but Yang insisted that she keeps on fighting.
"Those guys really came out of nowhere; I can't believe something like that actually happened." Blake said, still in a little shock.
"And to think, Shadaloo would go after Mercury just because he didn't agree to what they do despite giving him new legs." Weiss stated those facts.
"I hope he's okay, and I hope he doesn't mind me asking about how his legs work! Like, they do have rocket features that gives him long travel of flight or maybe they could become invisible!" Ruby intrigued about Mercury's robotic legs.
"But wouldn't only his legs be invisible?" Sun asked, walking into the room with the others.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Yang greeted with her cheerful grin.
"Worrying about you." Sun answered and leans in for a quick kiss on the lips.
"Those Shadaloo creep sure are something else. Attacking right in the middle of the Vytal Festival, in the one-on-one round too." Neptune exclaimed.
"It is indeed a very grave situation; my crystal ball now shows me that our future is going to look very Grimm and that can also mean the Grimm monsters too." Menat worried as she looks at her crystal ball.
"Is there any way to stop it?" Ruby asked.
"Not that I know of." Menat shook her head.
"I hope Ozpin and Ironwood figure this out, otherwise we may end up drawing in the Grimm with all the negative emotions that are being spread from the people by now." Ren feared.
"Hey! Don't say stuff like that, we're supposed to be cheering up one of Sun's girlfriends!" Scarlet stated, shaking in fear a little.
"Do you think Adam may have something to do with Vega and Balrog attacking the stage?" Blake asked Sun.
"Maybe, he would definitely go to the extreme in order to achieve his goal of making Faunus the dominate species of the planet. We saw him do it before." Sun said, referring to the time when they saw those White Fang soldiers working with Vega and Roman.
"Oh man, this is really freaking me out." Jaune gulped but got a sudden slap on the face by Nora.
"Nora?!" Pyrrha gasped.
"Sorry, but we can't let ourselves get pulled into the bad thoughts or else the Grimms will kill us right now! We need to focus on the positive and get ourselves ready for the tournament, we need to give the people hope and show them that we'll all get a happily ever after tomorrow and so on because we're here!" Nora smirked, most of the group are shocked to hear an inspirational speech from her of all people.
"She's right." Ruby stood up and look to the group.
"We have to do what we can to assure everyone that everything is going to be okay, and even if things break out then we'll just do our job which is always helping people, protecting them with our lives, and never let those Grimms feel our fear." Ruby stated strongly.
"Things may look bad now, but we can still turn things around when we all come together and charge forward to tomorrow!" Sun determined with his fist held outward to everyone.
"I think I can get behind that. Right, Team JNPR?" Jaune held his fist onto Sun's.
"Yes, I believe we can beat this." Pyrrha smiled as she, Nora, and Ren agreed, getting their fists in the middle.
Soon, everyone joins with their fists in the middle including Yang as they all look at each other.
"We may still have a tournament to get through, but we are all Huntsmen and Huntresses together!" Elena smiled.
"Let's go show the bad guys they won't break us that easily!" Sun said, then everyone threw their fists in the air.
"Looks like everything has been settled here." Raven said, getting the kids' attention.
"Mom!" Yang smiled and went over to hug Raven who return the hug.
"I'm glad you're okay." Raven smiled.
"Okay guys, meeting done, now let's give this family some space while some of us has a tournament to get ready." Sun called the meeting to an end.
Everyone soon leaves the room, Pyrrha look at Summer who gave her a proud smile and a nod telling her that she is glad to have such good friends which made Pyrrha happy as she remembers what Gouken said back at the vault.
"So, how bad do you think the news will take?" Yang asked.
"Probably to make us and Ironwood look like bitches for not doing our job in security." Qrow shrugged.
"But you guys stopped them." Ruby said.
"Yes, but people would still be mad that we couldn't prevent that attack from happening. Worry not, we'll do whatever we can to make sure nothing like this happens again." Summer hoped she could keep that promise.
"We also came to warn you to be careful around Cinder and her team, we don't know just yet, but they maybe involve with Shadaloo more than what we heard from Balrog." Raven warned, making Yang and Ruby look at each other.

Even when things may look bad for our heroes, they still haven't given up on hope to keep on fighting the good fight and to go on with the Vytal Festival to show the people what the next generation of Hunters are made of!
