Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, and Kelly drove down the streets of San Viento, but stopped at an old, decommissioned Air Force base for the Arcadian military that was built for when they fought Hizuru back in the war.
"Sounds like Mogul has converted the old Arcadian Air Force base into his own base." Mikasa parked the car on the side of the road. Everyone got out.
"This must be how he communicates with his island and San Viento." Armin had an idea. "Why don't we destroy all the planes and airships that Mogul is using to transport supplies and goods to the mainland, so we cut off his supply lines." Armin, Mikasa, Sasha and Kelly suited up and headed towards the entrance of the base. There was a black camper van near the entrance where some of Mogul's goons came from.
"This area is strictly off limits by Mogul's orders." A goon told Mikasa. Mikasa, Armin, Sasha and Kelly charged the goons into the van and stole their uniforms. Mikasa, Armin, Kelly and Sasha were dressed as Mogul Goons. They headed towards the entrance.
"You new here?" The captain man asked.
"We just got transferred from the Los Andreas base." Armin lied.
"Very well." The goon captain let the heroes in.
"We're here to fix some of your planes and airships." Mikasa lied.
"Knock yourself out." The goon captain laughed. "Something always gets broken with them flying machines." Mikasa and Armin headed to the first plane and placed a sticky bomb on the plane. Sasha and Kelly headed to the next plane and planted a sticky bomb on the plane. Mikasa and Sasha headed to the third plane and placed a sticky bomb on the plane. Armin and Kelly headed towards the next plane and placed a sticky bomb on it. Then they headed towards the airships and placed sticky bombs on them. They rushed outside the base, back to the Rolls Royce and detonated the bombs, blowing up the planes and airships.
"We should leave the area before it's too late." Armin told Mikasa. "Step on it!" Mikasa hit the gas and drove fast, far away so much that she left San Viento and into Wood County. The tall forests of Wood County differed from the tall buildings of San Viento. They got into a near collision with a psychedelic VW Van. Both cars drove off the road into a farm area. The man inside the VW Van revealed himself.
"Hello, faithful travelers." The man had brown dreads, round glasses, wore a brown leather vest over a white shirt, and had a peace symbol necklace round his neck.
"Hello, my name is Nando Gottwald, or you can call me the Watcher." The man explained.
"The Watcher?" Kelly questioned. "The Watcher is an all-powerful deity from the Marvel Comics, and you're just a dude." Mikasa grabbed Kelly's mouth.
"You don't understand why I am called that." Nando began to reveal the origin of his nickname. "On this farm, I see everything. The cities, the streets, I even see Eldia beefing up its armed forces."
"How do you see the world from an isolated area?" Armin asked.
"Gather round in a circle, I will show you how!" Everyone gathered in a circle on the grassy field. He began to make a humming sound.
"As I sense the roots in the ground, the world's knowledge comes to me!" Nando opened a bag filled with green cookies and ate one.
"Can I have cookie?" Sasha asked.
"Sasha, you don't want one of those cookies." Mikasa warned Sasha.
"But why?" Sasha was unaware that the cookies contained weed, or cannabis.
"They contain poison dust." Mikasa lied because Sasha was too young to know about drugs.
"Let me lay some truth on you." Nando began. "This farm provides food to the people all over the country and the world, meaning the world is interconnected." Mikasa smiled as he was starting to make sense. "The kale plants here are shipped to the people around the country, and they grow by absorbing bacteria. When the people die, bacteria break their bodies down, and the plants eat that."
"So, it's like the circle of life?" Armin replied.
"The Circle of Life is a product of the universe, and everything and everyone in the universe is interconnected by food and by the roots in the soil. All humans are family, the best family in the world. Why should we fight and discriminate against each other. We should look out for another, because we are brothers, fathers, sons, mothers, sisters, daughters and so on.
"Wait." Armin asked. "If all humans are family, does that make it incest for me to marry Mikasa?"
"You're thinking too hard, Armin." Nando sighed. "We marry each other and have kids, that's our way of bringing life into the world. Ymir created man, but we borrow from Ymir by passing on her ability to bring life into the world. All women are miniature Ymirs because they bring life into the world like she did." Sasha's tummy was rumbling, and it was getting dark.
"It's getting dark." Kelly pointed out.
"We'll camp out here and have Nando make us dinner." Mikasa explained.
"I'll cook us up some portobello mushroom burgers and sweet potato fries, all on me!" Everyone went in while Nando cooked the mushrooms on the grill and served the mushroom burgers.
"How do you make vegetables taste so delicious?" Kelly asked.
"It's my specialty." Nando answered. "Best Vegan Chef in all of Calithornia." After everyone was done with their food, they went to sleep to begin a new day.
