Since this is a SILLY account, I decided to abandon chronological accuracy entirely and allow references to celebrities and media that should "realistically" be like 200 years old to these characters.

DISTRICT TWO:

We expect Two to be the most gung-ho about the Games. You'd think they'd be crushed this year, but can you believe it? Both our champions from Two are non-volunteers this year. Valerius and Octavia may be a happy accident but they're aiming for the top.

Valerius Vella
Age: 18
Dream occupation: Rich
Name three of your favorite hobbies: Watching the Hunger Games, shopping, making music

How would your friends describe you: I don't have a lot of friends. I have a lot of lovers though. They'd say I have a lot of stamina.
What is a normal day like in your family? I'm blessed to live the fine life. A good day for me is spent writing some music, maybe some friendly games of cards, or trying to give back a little.
What risks have you taken in life to make a change for the better? If my parents taught me one thing it was not to take risks.
What's one life experience that has prepared you for this? I hear there's going to be a lot of politics in this year's Games. My parents taught me everything not to do so all that's left is the things I should do.
What is the accomplishment you're most proud of? I opened my own soup kitchen. I'm not proud of being rich since that was my parents' accomplishment, not mine. What I'm proud of is using it to do something worthwhile and not just sitting by the pool eating bonbons.
What is something we'd never know from looking at you? Probably the soup kitchen thing. Most rich people just go to mixers and talk about their new buys.
Who is your biggest inspiration in life? It's really cheesy but my sister is so inspirational. We've been each other's rocks ever since we lost our parents and I can't imagine living without her.
Who from history do you think you'll most play like in the Games? Prince

Octavia Jacobs

Age: 18
Dream occupation: President
Name three of your favorite hobbies: Chess, playing with my son, reading
How would your friends describe you: I have a lot more associates than I have friends. I hope they'd say I'm very competent and that I know how to work within a system and accomplish my goals.
What is a normal day like in your family? It's always chaotic to balance a career and an infant. I might be answering calls while I feed Drusus, meeting with colleagues to plan a fundraiser, cleaning poop out of my car, or soothing Drusus while I soothe an ornery donor.
What risks have you taken in life to make a change for the better? I'm a politician. Everything I do is a risk.
What's one life experience that has prepared you for this? Losing my parents and having to rebuild with just me and Val will prepare me for starting up in the Arena with nothing but my allies. And if course keeping an alliance together is all about politics
What is the accomplishment you're most proud of? I know you're only asking that since you ask everyone. Yes, I'm very proud of my career, but Drusus is my legacy.
What is something we'd never know from looking at you? I've been told I have a very pretty singing voice.
Who is your biggest inspiration in life? My husband! Cassius is my biggest cheerleader. He always wanted me to go into the Games. I was too shy but I guess fate thought differently. He's going to be so excited when he hears no one is going to die this time!
Who from history do you think you'll most play like in the Games? Oh, I was never that into history. I hope I'll play like someone no one noticed until long after they'd clinched their win.
