Hi! In case you were wondering, yes, I'm posting all the chapters I have on all of my websites… so lucky you! You get three chapters in a day!
Anyways… are you ready to walk into Wonderland?

-LLF

Luz was sprawled out on the strange-smelling ground, not waking up. She was quite battered from the endless fall, in which she seemed to remember hitting a sturdy oak table?

Other than a few scrapes and bruises, Luz quite looked the part of this world- instead of her cat hoodie and shorts, she was dressed in a poofy, purple tinted dress with big poofy sleeves and layers upon layers of tulle, a white, frilly apron over the bulky skirt; Tall black-and-white striped stockings on tall legs were splayed at odd angles on the ground underneath a sign saying "Welcome to Wonderland!" In a bold font.

Finally, Luz stirred, sitting up and rubbing her head (which now boasted a ribbon with a little black bow), eyes shut tightly.

"What happened?" She groaned, rubbing her temples harder to try to get rid of the awful ache that seemed like a legion of bass drums in her skull. Suddenly, the image of a minty-green rabbit girl popped into her head, and her eyes snapped open- to completely unfamiliar sights.

The sky was a pinkish-orange color, the ground smelled of lavender, and- what was she wearing?! She stumbled to her feet, looking incredulous to her new knee-length tulle monstrosity, grateful that at least her white slip-ons remained the same.

"Where AM I!?" she said, twirling around, the sign next to her catching her attention.

"Wonderland?! What in the name of holy hedgehogs is Wonderla-" Before she could finish her sentence, something tapped her on both shoulders, and, startled, she spun so fast she tripped and thumped to the ground. She looked at what had tapped her, and saw-

"AHHHHHHH!" A giant, unholy-looking bird tube THING was behind her, grinning like- like- a BIRD TUBE THING!

"You look lo-ost," the THING said in an annoying, deranged, Mickey Mouse reminiscent voice.

"LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU- THING!" Luz shouted, scrambling to find something to hit the thing with on the dusty ground. Before she could, something else hit the back of the Thing's head, or… uh… tube?

"Ow! Hoot! You don't have to be so mean!" it said, then slithered back to whatever hole it came from. Luz squinted through the dust the Thing had left to try and see her savior.

They appeared to have short, shoulder-length hair, half up in a ponytail topknot, a slim overcoat, and two, tall, pale rabbit ears-

"It's you!" Luz exclaimed, as the mint rabbit girl stepped forwards, holding her watch in her palms and squinting as Luz suspiciously.

"And it's you," she practically snarled. "The weird human girl who can see me. You followed me here!" Luz didn't pay attention to the bossy tone.

"Yes! Hi! I'm Luz. Who are you? Where did I follow you, exactly?" Luz said, grinning and holding out her hand to shake. The girl squinted at her.

"Wouldn't you like to know," she said, and then sighed resignedly, and put away her pocket watch. "Nevermind. I'm Amity, Amity Blight." She avoided shaking Luz's outstretched hand. "C'mon, human." She said, starting to walk down a path lined with tall, swaying grass.

"Where are we going?" Luz asked curiously, following after Amity like a lost, poofy-skirted puppy. Amity harrumphed, and didn't reply. Luz was tempted to flick Amity's long, tall rabbit ears.

"So what are you, anyways?" Luz asked, staring at the ears, then covered her mouth as she thought of how rude that question was. Amity glanced back at her disapprovingly.

"I am the Mint Rabbit. That is all you need to know." Luz spotted a symbol painted- tattooed?- onto Amity's wrist, and it seemed similar to the one on the strange watch she had…

"What's that painting? Is it your family crest? Is everyone in your family a rabbit-elf-person? Oh! Was that who you were looking for at my house? Your family?!" Amity grumbled, but didn't turn to face her.

"You do ask a lot of questions, human. Maybe I should leave you behind." Luz felt a slight twinge of panic at the words.

"No, wait!" she said. "I'm sorry… I don't mean to bug you, er, Miss Amity?" She didn't know what to call the important Mint Rabbit. "I just… I fell down that hole, and I really don't know a way to get back, and you're the only person I know in this 'Wonderland'! But… I promise to be better." Luz stared at Amity with large, innocent, apologetic chestnut eyes.

Amity sighed stiffly again (it seemed to be a habit of hers), then said, "Amity is fine. I already told you my name, might as well use it, even though technically you're supposed to call me the Mint Rabbit- it's not like I'll bring you to court for it." Luz nodded, apologies fading back into excitement.

"Wait, what's the court?" she asked brightly, already almost forgetting her promise just seconds before. Amity groaned.

"Human! Stop. Asking. Questions!" she said, turning around to face Luz incredulously.

"Sorry, sorry…" Luz said sheepishly. "Why? Is it against the rules? Will that bring me to court?"

Amity put her face into a bush and screamed.

Not long after, Amity had steered Luz into a clearing and sat her down on a shimmering purple toadstool. Luz had finally stopped asking the questions that bubbled to her brain, but they still were nagging, even as Amity looked around to check they were alone.

"Listen, Human," she said, hands on Luz's shoulders as she stared harshly into Luz's eyes. Luz blushed a little, and perhaps Amity did too, letting go of them and pacing around the clearing. "Only about a Spade's worth down the road is Blight Manor," She glanced at Luz. "My home. You are NOT allowed near it. In fact, you shall stay in this clearing until I figure out what to do with you, alright?" She faced Luz again, staring down expectantly at her on the toadstool.

"Alright, Amity!" Luz said cheerfully. Amity pinched the bridge of her nose.

"You're lucky I'm nice enough not to slap you senseless, like other members of the Court would do." She sighed, seemingly thinking about other things. Luz sobered up, sensing the weight that lived on Amity's shoulders. "Now, I am leaving. Good-bye, Human. Stay put."

And with that cheery sentiment, the Mint Rabbit left Luz alone with her thoughts.

I hope you liked chapter two! (And yes, Luz secretly loves that dress- but don't tell her I told you!)

Also, yes, of course Hooty is present in this tale. He couldn't help worming his way in. *wink wink terrible pun alert*

Anyways, thank you for reading!
