"Maybe next time when we have another school festival we can invite Suzaku. Hopefully Alice doesn't scare him away this time." Nunnally said as she sipped her tea.
"I think it a wonderful idea, Nunnally. I don't know about Alice though since her career goal it to join the military."
"You know I asked Alice about how she found out about Suzaku but she gave me a vague answer."
The cat yawned and stretch a little, she wondered if this silly little emergency broadcast will end soon. It's been an hour and a half and she was starting to get bored, not that she complained about it.
She glance at the two young human siblings who are at the table, talking about their friends at that blasted festival. She particularly observed the younger sibling, Nunnally. The cat was surprised that the human girls kindness hadn't change despite the fact that she was crippled and blind. It was pretty unusual for her and at the same time very heartwarming.
The kind, mortal girl give her that nostalgia factor she hadn't felt in a long time, of course kind people still exist in this society. She then turned her attention toward the boy named Lelouch. He glanced at her and she quickly turned away from him, glaring at the TV. Perhaps some questions about the boy were best saved for later.
The cat decided to wander around the bunker just to kill time. She peeked inside the kitchen a noted that their servant was washing the dishes. She then proceeded to the next room only to find the door closed. She used her telepathic ability to gently twist the doorknob, yet it wouldn't budge.
'This must be Lelouch's bedroom.'
She could always force the door open but it didn't seem like a good idea so she decided to try the next room. The door was already open so she walked right in. She found the decor in this room quite lovely, for Britannian standards. There was a nice bed, a dresser, a couch, and a stylish lamp.
She then noticed a photo on top of the dresser. The cat walked to the bed and peeked under it in hopes of finding any clue she could. She saw something gold, small, and shiny.
'Is that a locket?' The cat reached for it.
"Oh, there you are." The cat was suddenly pulled out from under the bed and pick up by that Lamprouge servant without warning. "You shouldn't sneak in other people's rooms you know. Hm? What's this?" Sayoko held the stray white cat directly to her face. The cat in question was holding a locket, with the change in the cat's teeth.
"I think you need a bath again." The maid walked out with the cat in her arms.
JLF Naval Aircraft carrier, The Sea of Japan
"Torii, commence landing check. You are clear to land," said the automated voice.
The jet-fighter landed on the flight deck. All three surviving planes made it to the aircraft carrier.
"We will restock on fuel and ammunition shortly while you wait for further orders from the captain." Said the flight conductor through the radio.
"So you and Torii made it after all," said the captain.
Rai took a deep breath "Sir, and we have one surviving member of the Blossom squadron."
"Ah, I see. Well, that's very good then. Who is this last surviving member?"
"It's just Kimchi, Sir." Rai said.
"I see." The Captain nodded and turned his attention toward the bridge window. "The Brtannian Naval Force has already ceased firing shortly. This may give a chance for our naval force to flee, but I have suspected that the Britannian's will send out their flying Knightmare, Lancelot, eventually."
"Wait, so you want us to stay on standby until the Lancelot eventually arrives?"
"That is the plan, yes." Stated the captain.
"Captain, with all due respect-"
"Sir! According to our radar, we detected a hug unidentified flying object that's heading straight toward us!" Said one of the crew members.
"Is it the Lancelot?" The captain asked, half expecting it to be Kururugi.
"N-no sir, I-I haven't seen anything like it. It's as big as an island," said the flight conductor.
"What?!" The captain was shocked. Everyone in the bridge heard a loud noise coming from outside. The captain rushed, followed by Rai, out to see nothing in the night sky.
The color of his face drained as he could still hear the noise.
'This is impossible! What could it be and where is it? Is it Kururugi or something else?'
Either way, he's not taking any chances. "Rai, get your butt on that plane and intercept whatever it is, now!" The captain barked out orders.
"Yes, sir!"
Viceroy Palace, Tokyo settlement, Area11 (Japan), Holy Empire of Britannia
Cornelia grunted in irritation inside her purple Knightmare frame. This was going to be another one of her easy cheap wins. Honestly, the Japanese Liberation Front couldn't be more idiotic. Did they really believe that just because one modified prototype destroyed one of her military facilities that they can use one or more stealth fighters to destroy her entire palace?
Perhaps all they want to create a dent on the place just to show how mighty they are. She and her brother had already gathered key information about the JLF and their plans. They tried so hard to be a threat. What her enemies are constantly doing is wasting her time.
"Your royal Highness?" She look up at her vidcom display.
"What is it?" She sternly asked.
"Your Highness, we have attained air superiority," said the pilot. The insignia of the Reapers Emblem embedded on the pilot's helmet.
"Well done commander. Return to base." Cornelia ordered the pilot.
"Yes, your Highness." And the screen went black.
Cornelia turned off her vidcom when she heard buzzing on the radio, which infuriated her.
"Your royal High-"
"If you have any information about the Black Knights do tell or otherwise I will have you hung off the top of a building!" The princess snapped.
"H-His Majesty the Emperor wishes to have an audience to you via private video stream, my lady." The Britannia officer spoke cautiously through the line.
Cornelia couldn't believe her ears, her father?
"If his Majesty wishes."
"Torii, altitude restrictions cleared be-"
Torii heard static on his radio. He was the first to take off from the carrier, followed by Kimchi.
"The UFO, It's…. according to our radar!" Yelled the flight conductor though the radio "Wait our IFF indicated that the UFO is actually from Brittan-" The radio cut off mid sentence.
"What's happening down there!? Come in!" Rai was already airborne but was suddenly shocked to see a massive outline and a shimmer in the moonlit sky. The objects shape was almost like that of a giant aircraft.
And thats just what it was. A giant airship appeared out of nowhere, hovering above the fleet of Japanese battleships. The airship had a massive wingspan. The underbelly of this giant airship was imprinted with the lion, snake, and the sword of the Britannian royal seal.
The captain and his crew stared at it in horror. This floating behemoth appeared out of thin air or rather it revealed itself like a chameleon from hiding. He couldn't fathom how in the world Britannia built something that massive for war.
"Sir, what are your orders?"
"Fire at will! Fire at will!" The captain wasted no time or showed hesitation in ordering release fire.
The JLF 2nd fleet started firing at the Britannian airship with artillery batteries, missiles, and AA-gun bullets but it did little damage to the underbelly of this behemoth.
"10 seconds left until cannon charge, General Dalton, sir." One of the crew mates said.
The general nodded in reply.
Rai saw a huge blue glow on the bottom of the massive airship.
"Shock Wave Cannon will be firing in 3… 2… 1… direct hit!" The blue beam hit the ocean surface, thus all ships in target range below were vaporized by the huge wave of blue energy.
Rai could not believe what he just witnessed. Nearly the whole fleet was destroyed and the few left were sinking fast.
"CRUD!" He slammed his fist at the controls. This mission was nothing more than a complete disaster as they lost too many of their comrades.
"We should fall back," said the rookie, Kimchi, on the radio. Rai knew he couldn't argue and took a deep breath.
"Yeah, let's get the heck out of here." Rai, Torii, and Kimchi flew far from the combat zone.
"All ships destroyed, General Sir," said one of the crew abroad.
"Good, well done gentlemen." Dalton said while drinking his tea.
"General, there are three bogies fleeing the combat area. What should we do?"
"They pose no threat to us, leave them be." Dalton brushed it off.
"Yes, My Lord!"
The scared eyed general took pride in his work. Once they find the JLF's HQ they will break the backs of the Japanese Liberation Front once and for all. This was going to be a piece of cake.

"We received word from officials that the terrorist threat has been subsided in the Tokyo Settlement. We are now ending the emergency broadcast and we'll have more information as the situation develops."
"Well, it's finally over, big brother." Nunnally said relieved.
"Yeah, finally," he said yawning.
The cat ran into the dining area of the bunker carrying the locket in her teeth and hopped on Nunnally's lap.
"Oh! Felicia. You startled me a little," Nunnally said while she stroke the cat. Felicia was what Nunnally had named her since they have no idea who her owner was and didn't have a tag. She recalled earlier how she was caught hiding in the school warehouse by Alice and Rivalz.
"Huh? What do you have here?" The cat dropped the locket on Nunnally's palm and said girl felt the object.
"Nunnally, isn't that the locket you lost five years ago?" Lelouch inquired as she saw the locket in his sister's hand
"It is! But how?" She couldn't believe it.
"I believe she found it under your bed, miss." Sayoko walked in and bowed "I'm sorry, I thought about giving her another bath after she crawled under the bed but she was very unwilling."
"That's alright, Sayoko. She probably thought that one bath was enough for her. Isn't that right, Felicia?" Nunnally continued to stroke the cat.
Lelouch was glad that C.C. decided to return to the Black Knights as he was not so sure he could handle both a witch and a fleabag.
Sayoko failed to mention when she was drawing the bath a bar of soap went flying at her. She avoided the soap hurdling towards her but it gave the stray cat a chance to flee out of the bathroom.
"Oh, big brother can you see what's in the locket for me?" Nunnally asked as she held out the locket for Lelouch to take.
"Of course, Nunnally." Taking the locket in his hands, Lelouch opened it to see a picture of him, Nunnally and-
"Heh, it's an old picture of you and I with Euphie in the courtyard."
The mention of the name Euphie and courtyard caught the cat's attention. She glanced at the boy, tilting her head curiously. Had they been to the royal courtyards in Britannia as children?
"Is it the one taken by Euphie's maid, Rose?" Nunnally inquired about the picture.
"The one and only." Lelouch replied.
"I like that one. It was when Euphie kissed you on the cheek and you were blushing. It was the first time I seen you blush. It was pretty funny." Nunnally giggled. "It's the best photo Rose had ever taken."
"Um, yeah," Lelouch blushed at the memory.
"Ever since we've been living here, I always wondered how Rose is doing."
"From what I remember, Rose liked the paint. She once said 'how I dreamed about becoming an artist someday'. Lelouch stated, remembering the maid from the past.
"Really? She said that? That would be so great. The sketches of the butterflies and ladybugs she drew were always beautiful." Nunnally gently pet the white cat once more. "I can see why Euphie liked having her around. She's good at drawing and painting. Rose must miss Euphemia terribly," Nunnally stated with sigh.
So these two siblings actually knew one of the Britannian royals personally, the third Princess no less. Perhaps their noble family lineage was well deserved and maybe this boy was betrothed to Princess Euphemia. It's funny that C.C. didn't even mention to her about this bit of information.
"Wherever Euphie is right now, I'm sure she is going to be okay, right, big brother?" Nunnally asked sweetly.
"Of course," Lelouch said. "It's getting late, how about we sleep here for the night."
Nunnally yawed "That sounds good." The cat jump off her lap. "You can sleep with me if you want Felicia." The Code Bearer paused for a second.
She was thinking about sleeping on the couch but this crippled human girl was still asking for her company? She sat up her tail swishing playfully. Felicia turned her head in Nunnally's direction and jumped back on the girls lap.
"Well, off to bed." Lelouch said while pushing Nunnally's wheelchair to her bedroom.
"I'll tidy some things up in here, it won't take long." Sayoko bowed to her master.
"Alright, just don't wear yourself out okay?" Lelouch said and Sayoko bowed again in reply.
JLF Naval Aircraft Carrier, the Sea of Japan, 5:48 AM
The young commander, Tomo Nigma, was pacing back and forth outside the flight deck in the rain. She was dressed in her blue button up business trench coat, dress pants, black beret and carrying an umbrella.
After hearing the 2nd fleet had been completely wiped out, those pilots better be here on time. She hadn't volunteered for the search for nothing.
"Baka, this mission wasn't even my idea." She said out loud as she thought about tossing out her umbrella in a fit.
"Commander Nigma." A flight deck crew member ran up to her. For her status she maintained her composure.
"Yes?" Nigma asked sternly.
"We detected a couple of friendly aircraft's heading our way, it's one of ours." The officer reported.
She took a deep breath and addressed the crew member.
"Good, very good. I'll head back to the bridge. Keep things in top shape while they arrive, okay?"
"Yes ma'am!"
The young commander arrived at the bridge when someone reported to her suddenly.
"Commander, we're detecting something massive. It's just as the distress signal had describe," said the operator and the commander's eyes widened in shock.
'What!? Already? It better not be thing that destroyed the 2nd fleet.' She thought panicked.
"It must be a Britannian super weapon." She hissed.
"Commander what are your orders?" Asked the operator.
"Send all fighters to intercept immediately!"
The three jet fighters were almost close to the aircraft carrier. Torii noticed seven jet fighters taking off the flight deck.
"Attention, this is Commander Tomo to Major Yuji squad. We are under threat by a Britannian super weapon. We dispatched all our aircrafts to intercept and they need your assistance right away."
"Yes Ma'am," Rai replied. "Looks like we can't rest easy guys, let tech it out this time. Engaging the target."
"Blossom engage!"
"Torii engage!"
The Britannian super weapon was invisible to their eye but they were still able to detect it on the radar. They joined up with other jet fighters to intercept the target 1,546 feet in the air. Torii decided to fire using the F-35's machine gun on the cloaked ship. The cloaking quickly dissipated with every bullet.
The enemy airship attempted to maneuver, but the damage was done and the ships cloaking ability had been destroyed, making it exposed. All other planes engaged the target and started launching missiles at the enemy air ship.
It took a lot of damage but quickly activated the AA and SAM's from the wings and the tail. The enemy started firing back at the planes, sidewinder missiles from the airship started flying.
Two missals chased after Torii but made a corkscrew and drooped the flares. The missiles missed its target. Torii saw the super weapon was about to turn tail, the pilot rushed toward his target but was met with bullets. He maneuvered through the barrage and lock on to the AA Guns. He fired his missiles and dropped several bombs on the airborne fortress.
"General Dalton, Sir, we're taking damage from the left wing!" The general clench his fists in panic and rage.
"If the Shock Wave Ballistic Missiles were ready we would of—change course, we're falling back, for now."
"Yes, Sir!"
"The airborne fortress is rapidly ascending, you can't follow. It suck's that we can't destroy that thing now that it's gone. However, this was a very important turn of events for Japan," said Nigma though the radio transmission. "Alright, you're all clear to land."
"Good, I can finally get some rest now," said Rai.
Nigma waited outside for the last F-35 to land. She saw the pilot activate the landing gear and descended vertically on the flight deck. The lilac haired girl rushed to the plane that just landed along with the maintenance crew with the ladder. The pilot opened the canopy, got out the cockpit, and climb down the ladder.
"So, you're Torii?" Asked Nigma. The pilot simply nodded in reply. "I need to know what happen Yuji-kun, since none of your friends told me what happened to him." She said worriedly.
