WS: The Tyrant of the Southern Skies and the Mother of Dragons.
Summary: "What if it wasn't Khal Drogo that had been wed to Daenerys Targaryen? What if Daenerys Targaryen had been wed off to someone else more fearsome than even the great Dothraki Lord - someone who commands not just a legion of men with swords but giant winged beasts not unlike dragons but even more voracious than their fire-breathing counterpart. Named with the same title as the beasts he commands, Daenerys Targaryen is married off to the Tyrant of the Southern Skies - a roughrider who flies on the back of Wyverns."
Before anything else I wanted to say thank you for your continued support and to any new readers who may have just found my stories. I also wanted to add that I've set up a (NightStar123) and hope for your support as I'm currently dealing with financial burdens. I am willing to look at my previous Naruto/Game of Thrones crossover one-shots and redo them as official stories. In fact, I have some idea for a Naruto/Game of Thrones based on the video with House Forrester.
Thank you and please review.
...
The foot soldiers that made up a small portion of the tyrant's army had been patiently awaiting their master. And when he did, it was a sight to behold.
The shrilling screech was the first thing they knew before the dark shadow descending from the sky came after.
It had been a wyvern - an actual wyvern far along the upper coast of Essos appeared. Its wings strong. Its gaze terrible.
It may have resembled a dragon from the old stories, but Daenerys Targaryen knew well that they were far different once looking closer.
The wyvern was a green and white scaled beast. It had two powerful legs ending with onyx black talons. From the start of its mouth, it was a sharp, cruel beak of solid bone that made up a portion of its snout - once the beak split to reveal its black tongue, the edges were sharp like bladed scissors with a row of fangs beneath it. Its eyes were pale blue surrounded by black. It had two long horns with a spiraling shape and jutted back with a faint curve to them. There were small, webbed frills and sharp spines that made its way down along its thick muscular neck. Its wings were large and leathery. And its tail thick from the base and slowly thinned into a sharp barbed whip.
Wyverns were smaller than dragons but a great beast such as this could easily pluck an elephant off the ground with ease.
Once it landed, its wings began to spread and from its two hind legs it began to raise itself high before letting out a long and terrible screeching shrill that left many to shake in their boots and soil themselves. Once its cry was done it moved forward, shaking the ground in its steps, its tail whipping the ground with a cackle.
Daenerys was both terrified and fascinated to see such a creature. It was no dragon but a wyvern reaching this far along the upper coast of Essos was unheard of. They were famed in Sothoryos and the Wyvern Isles. They were creatures said to be more voracious than dragons. And there many kinds, at least four different species ranging from small monkey sized wyverns that hunt in packs made of hundreds to the legendary nocturnal black wyverns. To see a wyvern this far meant that the tales regarding the 'tyrant of the southern skies' was indeed real and he could tame wyverns. It was almost parallel to that of the Targaryens who tamed dragons. To see those great wings and fly... how Daenerys dreamed of those things.
It stopped a few feet away and slowly it began to lower its neck where the great tyrant himself sat upon its back.
What did Daenerys Targaryen when she saw her betrothed.
Stepping onto the ground Daenerys saw him approach.
He wore an ominous looking helmet that covered the whole skull with the frame surrounding the face was slightly thicker to guard the forehead and cheeks. Beneath the helmet was a black cloth that obscured the face. Beneath the armor was a set of black clothing. What was worn over the chest was a breastplate with pauldrons set on the shoulders. They were small metal plates layered on top of each other before slowly going down the shoulder. A red cape was worn with much of it being tattered and torn. Around the man's waist was a tasset made of two large plates layered over each other. He had on armored gloves and metal boots with plates protecting his shins.
Daenerys was tall enough to meet him at the chin before needing to look up. When he brought his hands up, a small part of the young dragon feared he would touch her but slowly brought his gloved hands onto his helmet and removed it.
Daenerys' soon-to-be husband was an older gentleman well into the early years of his prime. He was handsome with a clean-shaven face. He had a shock of unkempt, bright blonde hair cut short. He had fair skin and three dark lines seen on each side of his cheeks. And he had a pair of bright blue eyes - the brightest she'd ever seen.
What did Daenerys' soon-to-be husband think of her.
Daenerys Targaryen was a beautiful young maiden with long silvery-blonde hair falling down to her back, healthy porcelain white skin and deep violet-colored eyes. She wore makeup, a faint brush of eyeshadow, lipstick and blush decorating her cheeks. Daenerys wore a silk white dress; more gown than dress that was clear and transparent enough to see the shapeliness of her figure beneath. Though loose along where the skirt flowed around her legs, it clung tightly at her chest where her breasts pressed against the fabric and the cool air leaving her nipples to stiffen.
Naruto's eyes were there for just a quick second before looking to meet those exotic purple eyes.
...
Arrange marriages weren't anything new to the world and seeing a grown man old enough to be some girl's father or even grandfather was absolutely nothing in the eyes of others. But it would question to those that knew Naruto personally as to why or what even possessed him to consider marrying the young Targaryen princess.
Could it be that his future children would have royal blood flowing through their veins? Could it be that his children would someday inherit a great throne from across the Narrow Sea? There were so many thoughts one could have and many to assume.
Yet none of these things interest Naruto. Naruto with all honesty felt that Daenerys Targaryen was another unfortunate soul to save. One look and he saw a young woman stuck in her shell and under the rule of her brother. Naruto had seen it before many times in his travels across Essos. Power. Status. Greed. Corruption. No matter what world it was, there would always be those things whenever and wherever there were people.
Naruto simply wanted to help this girl. If getting her brother that stupid throne would free her, then that was the easy way. Until then Naruto merely played along with whatever little schemes the little snake had but was quick to remind everyone that challenged him, he was the one in charged. And if Viserys wanted his army, the people that came with the blonde would head to the Lesser Moraq to get more people.
Lesser Moraq was a forested island that Naruto claimed long ago. Far from the old and wiser version of himself, Naruto's journey across Essos and beyond allowed him to gain followers who believed in him. With his command over wyverns, there were many who would flock to him for status, treasure and more. Naruto's people grew from smallfolk, sellswords, whores, bastards, anyone who wanted to make a living Naruto - Naruto gained their trust and their respect in the long years of what he was trying to achieve. That was why Lesser Moraq was the place to make their home.
The island was between Greater Moraq and Wyvern Point, the island being at the west of Greater Moraq and northeast of Wyvern Point.
With the wedding ceremony being commenced, Naruto was left to sit next to his betrothed and wait. There was music. There was food. The nobility and gentry were all here to give a gift as tribute and hopes of gaining favor. Wyverns were still powerful beasts second to dragons, but wyverns were more plentiful than them.
Naruto rolled his eyes, uncaring if they gave gold, precious gemstones, wine, clothes, whatever they could afford and give away to gain some favor with him.
Jorah Mormont gained the blonde roughrider's attention when he provided books, old history books and tales regarding Daenerys' homeland. Daenerys' attention was peeked knowing that there was someone that came from the same home as hers - even though for her personally it was a home she'd never known. Naruto did not think much on the man, though it did make him question why the man would serve Daenerys' brother Viserys - the little bastard was full of undeserved ego.
Then the fat one... Illyrio gave Daenerys a wooden chest containing three petrified dragon eggs. They were large in size and covered in small scales. The scales themselves shimmered like polished metal. They certainly gained Daenerys' attention due to her heritage as a Targaryen. Naruto may not know much about Old Valyria, but he encountered some semblance of dragon related things.
"And now my gifts to you." Naruto said.
What Daenerys saw her husband present her would leave her speechless.
"In the Green Hell of Sothoryos you can find the skeletons of dead dragons, and plucking from the biggest dragon I was able to have the most skilled artisans craft you a bow made from dragonbone."
Naruto presented Daenerys a black recurve bow made from dragonbone, it was black in color due to the high iron content within dragons.
Silently Daenerys took it, feeling the rough texture meeting her palms. It was not smooth like bone; it felt very much like metal but with grooves and ridges that prickled the palm.
It had been chance for Daenerys' gift. A beautiful horse that just seemed to wander through the plains came close to the blonde when he wasn't using his wyverns and the next Naruto felt that the horse would make a wonderful second gift. She was a beautiful white horse with a long silver mane. She was healthy and strong, regal in her stance.
"She's beautiful." Daenerys admired. Up on her feet she gently brushed her hand along the mare's mane. The four-legged animal gave a huff, nuzzling surprisingly close. The young dragon giggled.
Naruto actually liked seeing the young Targaryen smile.
...
'Once the ceremony's finished, I will speak to you in my tent.'
Naruto's realization came to late when Daenerys stepped into his tent that very night.
Naruto hadn't looked up at her. He sat on the edge of his bed and already put away the pieces of his armor and was in the middle of undoing his boots until he fel Daenerys approach. Her steps were soft. Her movements faint. She stood an inch from him and when he brought himself up, Daenerys was already pulling apart the silk gown from her body.
Naruto's eyes were already on the ribbon tied around her waist fall and gently when she pulled the gown apart, the whole front of her wonderful body was for him see. It was just halfway from being completely off, resting on her shoulders and revealing everything just enough for his eyes. And what he saw was soft unblemished white skin, a faint crop of silvery hair on her mound, shapely legs and well-rounded hips, a flat toned belly and small but perky breasts. Young Daenerys Targaryen was, but still very womanly to the eye.
Daenerys fought down the blush on her face. That look was completely different than the one her brother gave her. The young dragon did not know what she'd have done if not to undress. But how did her husband wish it? Would he simply want her to just disrobe and see her completely? Or would he perhaps want to disrobe her to his delight? Daenerys knew she gained his attention from the look he gave her. This was no mere boy or rowdy young man who sought his own conquest... staring at her was a man with a set of eyes that held far more weight to them.
Though Naruto stared longer, he would continue to look further up until he met those scared violet-colored eyes. She swallowed her pride and willingly submitted - not to appease him but merely for her brother's sake. Naruto hated that and slowly began to stand up.
It was her turn to be seen down. Daenerys' heart raced. She felt her face warm. He looked at her before gently moving his hands.
He grabbed the edges of her robe, knuckles faintly brushing her skin before... Naruto silently put the robe back into place to hide her bosom and womanhood. She looked at him, confused to understand.
Naruto was at fault. He had been cold towards Daenerys that he failed to inform her about what his thoughts were. He hadn't realized she'd been resigned long ago about her situation. He thought she would be defiant, fight back some way. But she hadn't.
"I..." Naruto had to take a moment, still seeing Daenerys' nakedness in his mind. "I will not touch you Daenerys... I will not. Whatever you wish, I will grant it if it is in my power."
She did not understand. She would never understand why he did not wish to take her. Was she not attractive enough for him? But to say such a thing to her, it bloomed hope in her heart. Whatever she wished... Daenerys in her most vulnerable felt tears slowly well up from the corner of her eyes. The young dragon felt a fire and through a boldness unseen even to her, Daenerys spoke.
"And... and if I wish for you to never touch me... would you?" Daenerys questioned.
Daenerys did not deny that Naruto was handsome. Though she resigned herself to bedding him, she did not find it unappealing. But it was her state of mind, the long mental exhaustion and the fatigue that had since plagued her for some time. Daenerys wanted just a small bit of control. She wished it. And when her husband said those words, Daenerys meant it. To absolutely deny him. To defy what her brother wanted from her. It made her heart pound in her chest. Her legs felt shaky and weak.
Naruto saw a small spark inside those beautiful purple eyes. Naruto nodded.
Though she denied him, she could not leave unless there was suspicion amongst the people. Naruto had blankets to spare and used the Klinai as a bed. He gave Daenerys the bed meant for him.
...
Among the most dangerous wyverns that existed, the brownbellies just might be the most dangerous compared to their large cousins. With the same characteristics, a cruel beak, wings and two legs ending with sharp talons and a barbed whip tail, brownbellies hunted in packs ranging from a hundred or more members. And Naruto summoned all of them.
Using the same power that allowed him to control the larger wyverns, Naruto summoned every single member of the pack, and all responded to his call. One even perched on his shoulder, wings folded and tail coiling along the length of his arm. Its wings were a little bit more developed, allowing them to 'hold and grip' their prey.
Naruto didn't think he'd ever summon the brownbellies, they were more unpredictable due to their numbers making it a strain to control them. But with himself full of anger, Naruto's control was greater than their hunger.
The man, some random, no-named wine seller tried to poison Daenerys and his unborn child! It was unforgivable that he hadn't been there to defend the woman he had grown to love, and Naruto would never forgive himself if harm fell to his child. His first child.
Naruto would not show mercy to this crime. Never.
He raised his hand and pointed at the wine seller.
"Eat." Naruto ordered.
And like a violent swarm of insects over a hundred brownbellies latched onto the now screaming man. Talons dug into the man's body before small maws with sharp teeth began to bite and tear through the clothing. A wet chewing came right after with the man screaming in utter agony just as the small wyverns broke through the man's stomach and dug their necks into his entrails - those to afraid never saw the bulging flesh of movement from underneath. Their brown colored scales were coated in blood from the head down to the neck. Their little maws tugging at the man's guts before pulling them further and further until more members from the pack began to fight over it.
That was the easy part.
The worst was when the others brownbellies from the pack had already tore the man from his pants and bit onto the thighs before a pair ripped into his testicles, the spine shivering... POP... made every man flinch before the next dug themselves further into the convulsing man's scrotum.
Jorah Mormont saw everything, as did Daenerys.
Jorah may have understood that while his loyalty was in question, the exiled northman knew that one mistake from his part would be a fate worse than anything he'd ever encounter. Daenerys' husband may be more ruthless than the Dothraki. Viserys got off lucky.
